First episode aired today
What did you think?
I can't believe that people actually think the Shogun's little sister getting a free pass through strip-searches is a plot hole.
The choking shit was pretty retarded but they will probably explain it next episode. I will reserve judgement until then.
I hope that the gate being lowered was just a fuckup (plausible) and not standard procedure.
Obviously the zombies are not completely unintelligent, they use the train whistle and get mad when one of their own gets shot. Also, one outsmarted the MC. Rekt.
The Main character is the best of the season so far.
The steam punk x industrial japan aesthetic is amazing
Lots of detail in the world too/beautiful backgrounds
Loving how they rattle up the tension and the intensity of a lot of the scenes
Also suicide bags are is an interesting concept born from their hysteric state of mind
Really liked all the faction/class commentary
So far it looks great, just hoping the plot isn't shit or too wide scale that it isn't conclusive.
So you can kill them by shooting them in the head... So why did he make a gun to break their hearts?
Is it going to turn out that there are some that aren't just zombies?
Also is the MC SUPA SPECIAL! or was it the stone?
MC is awesome, I liked the show.
I don't mind MCs that are pure, ideal heroes, driven to act in the pursuit of what they believe is right, independent of a traumatic past or whatever. In fact I love them, Superman is my favorite superhero for this reason among others.
But you know you're gonna have problems when the way the show decides to demonstrate this quality in its protagonist, is by having the people MC interacts with be complete morons, especially once he starts whipping out rules and regulations on them.
If he develops anything resembling superpowers as a result of the bite I am dropping this show. He already has the super steam powered captive bolt pistol, the fuck does he need to be Spider-Man for?
And it will be extremely painful because I loved everything else about the episode.
Also why the fuck did he cut his wrist if he wanted to leave a blood trail? Jesus christ.
I found it pretty interesting. Steam punk feudal japan with zombies? Good animation, interesting concept. It could go down the shitter but I am optimistic.
MC isn't a bitch either, that's nice.
A steam-powered super tourniquet that cut off blood flow to his brain.
I'm guessing the virus is extremely virulent but if it doesn't completely convert its host in a short amount of time it goes dormant or the infection becomes asymptomatic to an extent.
My biggest problem is....
Where the fuck did they get all the wood they used to build all that feudal japan shit? Did you see that? Basically everything was wood, but there weren't any forests inside the walls. A human settlement using wood at that rate would clear-cut everything within miles in short order. They can't be importing it all on the trains.
Spoilers confirm that he does get powers.
I'm thinking Ikoma going for the wrist was just a heat of the moment decision since he needed a blood trail for the kabane to follow. Ikoma seems to have a decent head on his shoulders, but he is very prone to following his emotions.
Of course they have super powers. How else are anime writers going to fill 11+ episodes of action? Name one action anime without super powers. You can't. There's always newtypes or lambda drivers or titans or geasses or nanomachines or something.
I just hope whatever it is will be implemented interestingly.
So basically it's Shiki except the doctor isn't supposed to be a bad guy?
I'm on board with that.
If you think that's bad...
Well, I mean, it's pretty obvious superloli is half-kabane or some shit. Probably also why she gets a pass on the whole stripcheck stuff. She's already kabane'd but resisted somehow.
He said it! He said the meme!
I don't care about other people having powers, there was already some weird shit going on with the little girl when she got off the train.
But MC's already some kind of master arms smith, and then he gets powers? Come on, man.
Just finished first ep. Loved the animation and color palette as well as the character design. Also fuck MCs fat friend, like y u talking shit behind his back
>Cant wait for the r34 of knife-sandal tho
>Zombies are really fast and agile
>Zombies mimic reactions and behavior of humans, like the zombie copying the little girls' scared reaction
>Zombies can use some kind of limited intelligence to use tools, weapons, and even surrounding to their advantage
I like this.
Why's the prison for the suspected bitten made of wood if the thingies can punch through a steel railcar?
Probably because wood is more plentiful than steel and it's just there for observation and they're under constant guard.
Also it seems like people just get executed on the spot if they're suspected of infection anyway.
>there will never be good doujins of this series because nobody can draw anywhere as well as Mikimoto
Why is this allowed?
Because grorious ancient nippon.
Realistically, did you see how fast the virus was spreading on the people who actually got bitten? Real kabane hulk out well before they get to that thing. In reality, it's just a prison for the local lord to throw dissidents into.
Animation was choppy as hell and anyone who says it was "movie quality" is a newsht
The shading was incredibly inconsistent and looked tacky as hell
Writing is retarded and already has holes out the ass from the first episode
Characters are shit.
Far from the best anime this season.
The animation was great and wasn't anymore choopy then anything else this season.
The shading was great, and it wasn't inconsistent, it was just intensified during dramatic scenes to visually set the tone, very well done.
Nothing retarded about the writing either and there are no plot holes, probably just your own misconception having not actually payed attention to the show.
Characters are great so far especially the mc which is really the only one you can judge at this point.
Easily the best the season, you tsuntsun you
>The animation was great and wasn't anymore choopy then anything else this season.
Nope and nope
The shading was great, and it wasn't inconsistent, it was just intensified during dramatic scenes to visually set the tone, very well done.
Wrong on all accounts
>Nothing retarded about the writing either and there are no plot holes, probably just your own misconception having not actually payed attention to the show.
>Characters are great so far especially the mc which is really the only one you can judge at this point.
>Easily the best the season, you tsuntsun you
Not even close
sasuga, anon. you 're a true master
12 eps is short enough for the budget to be evenly spread out. Compare this with Guilty Crown which was 20+ eps, great promotional material, trailers were really good, but then quality fucking everywhere.
Though, QUALITY might strike around ep 4-5
Thanks guys, heres another one I made
Just watched the first episode, holy fuck that was good. Best show I've seen so far this season, hype for more.
I figure the steam engine attached to it is some kind of steampunk magic thing that somehow works better than gold old fashioned gunpowder. Like a rail gun, but runs on water.
Now why the steam rifles aren't some kind of water-cooled machine gun like the ones that exist in real life is another question.
>mc is someone of strong principles and motivation
>main girl looks like a moeblob; can actually kick ass
>guns, not swords for once
brety gud actually. Looking forward for the next EP.
Mayoiga is probably #2 for me right now, but I respect your opinion. I'm curious to see where it goes and if it turns into the bloodbath everyone's predicting.
Y u mad tho?
Oh thank god. An episode that isn't another perfunctory introduction with no aspirations other than establishing that some characters exist and what the gimmicks of the setting are. Not that it was handled deftly, mind you, what with people explaining to each other how things always happens and how we all know why they all happen and how common they are, but let's explain them in depth to each other anyway in case there's an invisible audience member who doesn't. And then there's the manic pixie girl, who fits into the show about as well as an elephant does into a teacup.
It's Guilty Crown/Geass's writer, so a little nonsense is to be expected, but I think this probably abused that a bit too much. I have my questions about how humanity has survived this long when apparently the trains are attacked constantly, and their security is so bad that when one is lost, the entire fortress is screwed. I'm also not really sure how strangling yourself makes the magic virus disappear. Oh, and little girls possess the strength to behead them, killing them instantly, but otherwise, you need to shoot them in the heart where they're strongest. Mostly, it's kind of just what you'd expect if you made a show from a Madlibesque combination of feudal Japanese steampunk zombie apocalypse. I don't think you should dig too deeply into anything it does. Lord knows the show doesn't, which helps things keep moving forward. And if I'm focusing on the nonsense of what it did and what it showed, it's because it did and showed things in ways that were not boring or obnoxious, and none of these were demands for it to try to explain them because that would just make things worse.
Last thread some anon reasoned that the virus kills itself if it's inhabiting what it perceives to be dead tissue, which is what the his body seemed like after oxygen starvation
It's the most logical explanation I've heard so far so that's what I'm going with
Mayoiga too. I'm not expecting much of anything out of any of these, but hey, hype originals can be some of the funnest times on /a/.
>TTGL, Geass, Madoka, KLK
etc. Such shows may not be good but when there is rife speculah and getting all autistically excited in live-watches, it's so much more than inevitable spoilers from the manga/LN readers, who really can be killjoys.
It makes even less sense than SnK and it clearly is very influenced by it. I was thinking not to take it seriously but the show takes itself seriously So ya I can't mark off inconsistencies or bad writing if the whole show is heading down this dark serious route.
When it comes to super strong monsters that can infect you via blood you probably dont want to be up close hacking them to pieces. Also remains to be seen if the one that got decapitated at the end is really dead. Just a guess, maybe it's some kind of parasite that lives in and reinforces the chest cavity, but if the host brain is alive it can't take control of the body.
That's the advantage of being very cliche. They can just focus on action, the good part, since you know the gist of the setting by instinct.
The girl probably didn't kill the zombie for good. It must be hard to move around without a head at least. She probably has super strength if you didn't notice her glowing eyes.
>tfw you blow your entire budget on ep 1
The virus is actually a parasite. It infects the host them promptly changes their body into a hospitable one. It moves to the heart and then encases the heart in strong tissue as to protect itself.
When Ikoma choked himself out and, the parasite couldn't spread as quickly, and quickly died.
I eat shits like you for breakfast desu senpai.
Probably the most uninspired shit I've seen all season.
The fact that it mashes together the two most a popular genres for fedora wearing autismos (steampunk and zombies) is pretty hilarious. I'm sure it will do extremely well.
It takes about 4 minutes for tissue to actually be deprived of oxygen though. He probably was about to pass out, however, and if it didn't perceive a viable brain to use because it didn't seem in good working order, then it didn't take hold.
Still though if it had taken hold in his body it shouldn't just instantly dissipate if it didn't get to the brain yet, you would think it would just wait there until he stopped choking. It could be something else, like he choked himself merely to try to halt its progress, same reason he put the armor on, and either the stone or his willpower repelled it (willpower would be a real asspull though).
Guess we'll see what is said about it in ep2.
shut your fucking whore mouth my word is law
>I'm sure it will do extremely well
To your chagrin no doubt.
Get ready for these threads to be the most shitpost happy all season long.
Well, I don't blame you. The premise of the show is vague to say the least. And episode 0 didn't exactly tell me anything new. I'm going to watch it because it's hiding secrets like a pubescent boy hides his erection.
It's like an airgun that fires a projectile. Their standard guns can't penetrate the iron armor around their hearts though. His gun just has higher pressure and explosive charge to combo it or something.
Can anyone refresh my memory about something. In the Blade movies, weren't there vampires or some offshoot monster that had a miniature second ribcage around their hearts to prevent piercing with a stake?
It seems like a really bad idea to force the train to go through a tunnel with zero visibility IMMEDIATELY before it enters the city. Feels like there should be another checkpoint in there at some point.
He's saying a show needs more than art to be good.
It does look astoundingly good, but if the show itself isn't then that makes it all the worse actually because then it's a tragic waste of effort.
Couple things pointed out ad nauseum aside, I do think it's got potential, but it's also got potential to fall into all the shonen cliches and the AoT-wannabe shadow everyone is watching for.
Nice. Must be fun to ignore something that anyone with eyes can figure out, just so you can be anti-hype to this, so far, well-received show.
Stay salty though.
>I'm glad we're going away from the HUGE case of sameface in anime. Nice to get this artstyle, real refreshing tbhoniifam
Just saw the episode. Pretty fucking good. The voice acting, animation character designs are neat. The MC don't turning into a Kabemane in the end was bullshit through and also if i were Isayama i would be pissed as fuck cause this is a complete copy paste but with zombies
Literally: Shingeki no Kabaneri.
A fucking ripoff on AoT, as expected. The only thing that really stand out at the moment is the animation, but you all know that soon this will become in a QUALITY shitfest, is WIT studio after all.
Dropped before is to late, maybe I'll watch it when the BDs come out.
It proves WIT has no wit, if you will, in terms of originality.
However they definitely seem to have a bigger budget and perhaps more ambition than Trigger, which jokes around with itself too much for its own good (well, let's see if they get serious with Kiznaiver).
I'd bet that being similar to AoT is the only way it was it was able to spend that much on animation. who cares though if it's good.
actual shading and fluid animation, yes it's rare now days but it's good.
The virus probably has a very short life cycle outside the original host until it reaches the infected person's brain tissue. Probably the brain has a particular cell that allows it to multiply or make it live longer and if it cant get to it fast enough, the virus basically burns itself out. Or maybe the hosts immune system starts fighting back or something.
>who cares though if it's good.
That's the problem, IS NOT good.
All the people in this thread who is saying that the first episode of this was any good is either a newfag/faggot with terrible taste or a shitposter.
It's good if you are unaware AoT exists.
Here though it's like comparing between two FPS games or capeshit movies from the same studios. Is this going to be better than AoT? Who knows. I think AoT had a more influential first episode though, I mean that shit was fucking everywhere with the now borderline-iconic "colossal peeking over the wall" shot.
Gives me at least some extra use out of Amazon Prime.
Meme shitposting aside, the only major problem I have is the end scene. The zombie better not be dead after getting decapitated.
I hope it just takes time for him to regen his head and he'll be back up after a short break.
I don't get it. Are people posting copy pasted comments from reddit or something? I think the anime is pretty good but I seriously don't want any of this ironic shitposting faggotry going on.
So, how many girls will lust over mc's dick?
Only superior agility and resistance to fight with the Kabane more evenly. They still need their weaponry to be successful and the same applies to Mumei who also has the virus inside her
using his brain to solve a problem, everyone in the episode had a gun, a sword or blade sandels. Maybe their will be some kind of kagane power thing in the future but there was no indication things were headed that way.
and I'm saying you have no proof of that. just because it's a cliche doesn't mean it's going to happen here. You can predict all you like but to say it's definitely going to happen is just plain wrong.
Oxygen's a pretty good idea; He seals the wound, then stalls circulation in the body.
It does just shift the problem over though: Now it's a question of how did he survive the trauma involved. It looks like he might have had a guard on his trachea, but that doesn't jive with the blood.
>yfw that's exactly what happens next episode
They really, really better not pull a "all strengths no weaknesses of both sides" type shit. Stories like this are far more interesting with an actually vulnerable MC instead of Asspull McGee.
Why don't they just chop the infected limb off?
Why didn't he put a tourniquet around his arm before the infection could spread past his shoulder?
Steampunk is normally for the faggiest of fags, but I don't mind really Kabaneri's style since it's not the retarded Victorian crap with excessive gears/psuedo-Tesla shit everywhere.
>they can't be importing it all on the trains
lol have you ever seen a train? Imagine 140 of these coming into town.
>Why don't they just chop the infected limb off?
That's what I tought he was going to do, and that he would probably get a steampunk automail or something later.
>Why didn't he put a tourniquet around his arm before the infection could spread past his shoulder?
That's basically what he tried to do, but kinda on his neck instead.
He stil had some purple veins standing out on his back when he collapsed. Judging by the stuff happening during the credits I would say it is still active in his body and it will give him magical MC powers.
Worst girl, and its only episode one.
On the other hand, have some best girl and them delicious armpits
Joker game is just flat about boring so far, and the mc is a nut job.
Mayoiga? This show will be absolute herroundous horse shit, it's already a meme at how absurd a stupid the characters and plot on.
>mfw I know it's true and want to drop it, but probably won't because that shading and animation is too cool and rare to not enjoy
I had read the novel Joker Game is based on, and it was pretty good, just give it a couple of episodes and you will see.
Mayoiga has potential, for the moment will say that looks promising, but yeah, it can go to shit pretty easily.
The mass and bushi are dumb, they think it is a curse and they would kill the guy anyway.
And if they saw someone with a missing limb they would kill him because he would be clearly be bitten.
It didn't disappear, the virus is now his special power because he didn't let it reach his brain. Kinda like what happened in Parasyte. Same thing happened to Mumie probably.
It's late, so I'm sitting here giggling at a poorly rendered .webm.
>they have explosives for the sudoku bags
>whathisface uses explosives to do something with his weird super steam gun
>they haven't figured out that you can propel projectiles at supersonic speeds with explosives alone
Maybe we'll see a rise in people asphyxiating themselves as homage. Though technically it already comes off as homage to parasyte.
The OP indicates the powers, you can see the red veins running through Mumei when she's about to fight, and the same same thing happens to Ikoma in the OP as well. They're the same veins that occur when Ikoma is being infected in his shack. 2+2= half zombie shenanigans.
He's not "the one" mumei clearly already has the power. The neck ribbon symbolizes the divide between human and kabane.
I'm fucking calling it. It's all too obvious.
Ikoma's gun doesn't use bullets though.
>Hey this method for killing those zombies kind of works
>Should we spend time and money finding another way to do this?
>Nah, lets just focus on survival and shitting our pants whilst riding trains.
Japanese aren't innovators
Maybe they don't have gunpowder (or a recipe for producing lots of it) and explosives cost too much for typical guns to use them.
Not to mention gunpowder in particular happens to functionally work because it burns slowly enough to not just blow up the barrel of the weapon. If they have some explosive but it's not our idea of gunpowder it would just kaboom their guns.
They must be pretty fucking stupid if they have explosives they can pack into bullets and they're still using pneumatic guns.
Also they better explain in detail that choking shit and why he stapled the thing to his arm. If it's just because that's what the character designer wanted him to look like, I'm going to be real disappointed.
It looks like he almost planned for what would happen if he was bit. He knew exactly how he was going to slow down the infection (yes, he did apply pressure to his arm, which he also slapped a ton of metal on, but the main tourniquet was to his brain) so it seems like this was something he chose to do instead of cutting off his own arm.
I hope we have him lusting for flesh. Unfortunately, I can't imagine Kabaneri being as slap-happy goofy as Valvrave season 1. Whether that's a good thing or not we'll have to wait and see.
Virus could be dependant on oxygen in the bloodstream
He is not only cutting off blood flow to the brain but also his ability to breath which would cause a CO2 build up which could possible suffocate the virus/bacteria/magic thing that caused the infection.
3 days jailed was just their SOP, anyone infected would of already used a Suicide Bag or the entire train would of been over run like what happened in the video. It was most likely just a policy used to deal with trouble makers or people that rubbed the officals in charge the wrong way for whatever reason, nothing really to do with the infection
Well if it was a virus and the virus was weakened enough his body could produce antibodies and he would become immune sort of like chicken pox
I feel like it needed that internal monologue clarifying what the fuck was going through his head. It happens so fast and it's so weird that I was just left confused.
So instead of saying
>I can't let it reach my brain
>First step, cauterize. Oh shit, that didn't work.
>Second step, cut off blood flow. Crap, it's not stopping.
>Last resort, choking myself.
Maybe that'd ruin the tension of the scene, but I'd say it was ruined anyway because it was confusing and happened so fast there wasn't really time to build up suspense.
Dude, he riveted metal to his body, they either will or will not make up some idiotic bullshit about how this was a good idea, when there's no way from a real physiological perspective this makes sense. Most metals cannot be connected to human tissue because the body rejects and attacks it becoming necrotic around where it is attached. The exception is titanium which is the basis for modern body implants which these guys clearly don't have the tech to refine nor mine. No matter what, it's going to be stupid, so if you're taking a show like this too seriously you have no one to blame but yourself when you get "disappointed."
He invented not explosive but a rpg without the rocket component.
His gun shoots a propulsive jet or jet gas stream with help of explosions just like a rocket from RPG.
The stream is neither explosive or super hot but it practically "Wash out" the hard shell just like the real rpg explosion wash out armor of the tanks to penetrate it.
>Same, I'm glad feminism is being represented properly.
I'm okay if they make up some bullshit. That's what I want. I want somebody somewhere to have put some thought into things and for evidence of that to be clearly communicated to the viewer.
I think in terms of tension it was fine. We all knew he was going to come out fine since he's the main character, but the methodical yet brutal methods he used to stop the virus were less to make us worry about whether he was going to make it out and more to showcase his brutish tenacity to live while being also one of the most inquisitive and intelligent people in the show. The scene fit the established character quite well. That for him surviving the infection was like a trial by fire and in a more formal sense it's going to be the ordeal by which he acquires his cheesy MC skills.
Mumei is a miracle of the universe.
It looks to me like the infection is a parasite. Perhaps a nano-machine style weapon that spreads according to a procedural pathway through the blood. After a set amount of time, it expects to plug into the brain and use the resources of the brain to execute its next part of the programming.
When it does not encounter a recognized brain signal, it shuts down.
I am thinking that whoever made this infection didn't want it infecting trees and animals, planning to wipe out cities of people and sending in troops to clean up after the fact.
Of course, it failed and now everyone lives in the glory of steam and trains.
It probably isn't, though.
The RPG uses a shaped charge to shoot a slug of molten copper or a shaped charge to shoot a bolt of plasma.
The amount of energy necessary to shoot a bolt of air at a speed equivalent to plasma bolts or molten copper is mind-boggling.
I bet him mauling himself had nothing to do with why he's okay and that it's all the doing of the magic rock.
That way they don't have to explain why nobody else gets superpowers from getting bitten and hanging themselves.
It does explode, so either the point was that it's so powerful it can blow holes through things, or that it just blew out the heart of the kabane through the cloth.
SnK already had guns. Low tier shitposting.
You can bet that but you'd be wrong. Mumei is going to be revealed as having been strangled too which is why she's also part kabane. Calling it.
I fucking love how many originals we have this season. All these predictions.
More like long awaited successor, can't believe we had to wait 5 years for another show of the same caliber after all the failed attempts like valvrave, gargantia and aldnoha
Gargantia isn't exactly on the same vein, but what makes you think Guilty Crown is better than Aldnoah and Valvrave? They're all in the same group of being written poorly and enjoyment coming from the stupidity.
There was literally no way for him to know choking himself would stop the spread of the infection and if it did that it would have conveniently done it that fast.
Not only that but that's not how infections work.
I was more just relieved that it was actually tolerable and didn't completely intrude on the show at every opportunity and that he managed to hold off on the shitty vocal stuff at least till the designate "get hype" scene. We'll talk about good later on but so far it's pretty non-descript which again is almost a relief after the gong shows that were Kill la Kill and Aldnoah Zero.
I know right. Everybody is so fake as shit nowadays I just kind of assume every exaggerated reaction is some form of baiting. It just reads too much like the sorts of things MAL hype kids would post for it not to be.
Who said that it's an infection and not some parasite which moves with blood stream or epidermis? And that chocking has made bloodstream stop so to save itself the foreign organism had to revert into it natural habitat where it's position couldn't threatened by the immune system.
It's a shame, but dropped.
are you retarded?
>all veins glow orange
>heart is exposed and tough to penetrate, also glowing orange
>while strangling himself, we hear a *thump thump...thump* sound
He was slowing/stopping his heart rate to stop the infection from spreading (science).
I enjoyed it and looking forward to more, but this was a blatant Attack on Titan clone.
>city sectioned off
>humanity limited to a few fortified cities
>world otherwise populated by unlimited powerful enemies
>steam backpacks on lower back
>main character can do anything
>MC sense of justice and standing up for what's right
>FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, I WILL NOT RUN
>super detailed lines on face when close up on seriousface.jpeg
>BBEGs have one weakspot
>humanity have become cowards
The thing that really bothered me about the episode was how the MC cut his own artery and had a big ass chunk bitten out of his arm yet bleeding to death isn't even a concern of his.
>this was a blatant Attack on Titan clone.
I wonder who the fucking director is.
>A fucking ripoff on AoT, as expected.
Well to be honest, every single major success tend to have copycats. And there is a demand for it too; many people always end up asking "where can I get more of this kind of show" after they watched what is available of the original.
Pretty sure this is what cured him, the auto-erotic asphyxiation was just something to pass the time while the real cure worked its magic.
So it's shit writing then.
It's a virus that everyone should know about, and according to this happening restricting it from going to your head saves you entirely.
So instead of locking bittens in jail, why haven't they had a strangling system?
>b-b-but he was the first to figure this out
Of course MC who knew immediately what to do after he was bitten is the only person in that universe to figure out how to stop it.
>b-b-b-but you don't know there could be more stuff
And i'm judging it by its first episode, not as a series. It's a poorly written episode
>implying they have the time to give THAT much backstory when they're introducing the viewer to the world and getting them accustomed to the characters and setting
you're a genius!
Is he going to have super-human strength and shit now?
I am pretty amazed so far, amazing soundtrack and ending theme, good looking animation, although I worry for the animation quality, I hope they got a huge budget to avoid QUALITY scenes.
Since it cant be all nonstop action eventually things will calm down and go into detail about the infection and how one becomes a virus carrier without turning Kabane. Most likely during Mumei backstory.
Is it so much to ask for a main character to use skill and wits instead of some bullshit contrived ability?
Like this guy is smart, they could have had him use a bunch of steam-powered contraptions and shit. But no he caught retard strength from the zombies.
>It's a virus that everyone should know about
People were taught that it's a curse, only MC and Takumi knows that it's bullshit.
>So instead of locking bittens in jail, why haven't they had a strangling system?
They obviously don't lock bittens in jail, considering how strong Corpses are, they would destroy it in no time. The Ryoumogawa probably knows what is happening and are locking people who knows too much or possible threats.
>MC who knew immediately what to do after he was bitten is the only person in that universe to figure out how to stop it.
