>zaraki uses bankai
>effortlessly beats the miracle
>stronger than Byakuya & Hitsugaya combined
So, is his Bankai just a major power boost?
Also Bleach 669
I was let down I thought he was going to become a cannibal when I first saw his stance and face. On some Neo shit
Even though we all know Miracle Man will survive this shit with a new bullshit super regeneration power, it was still hype as fuck.
>"his skin... is red!"
This seems like the sort of thing that would work best animated
>pure screaming fury
>crazy burning red skin
It's a power boost. Though he looks like a savage beast now. I wonder if he can revert back under normal conditions or if he's stuck like that (like the Hulk or something). Can't think of any character in the series with as much raw power as Zaraki now. It's a pretty suitable Bankai, didn't expect anything else in all honesty.
The big 4 gamechangers have had simple bankais that just improve what they had
>Ichigo: speed and power
>Urahara: puzzle master
>Yama: super fire power
>Ken: Absolutely fucking ridiculously immeasurable power
Seriously, if miracle bro has enough power to destroy SS by falling over, and Ken just effortlessly bullied him, what the fuck would all that power do?
I don't understand how Bleach is managing to get worse as time goes on. Even fucking Fairy Tail has novel concepts every month or so but Bleach is this non-stop slog for me to read.
I'd drop it but I'm this far in already, I want to see how the train wreck finally finishes.
They don't work like that, but then again this is a Japanese medium, and you know how shadows are drawn in Japanese media. Every girl has two even shadows under her boobs, no matter how big or small.
Remind me, have we seen Byakuyas strength after the As Nodt assfucking he received? Did he get the same caliber of boost as Rukia or none at all? He used his shikai more like a Bankai or something but was that it?
Is Renji stronger than him now? Why is Byakuya such a bitch now?
Byakuya was probably close to his maximum Bankai potential, but his Shikai had been neglected. Now his Shikai is much closer to his Bankai power level.
Rukia and Renji were much less advanced, so they both got huge boosts.
Its not just that, its Zaraki unleashed. For the first time he's going all out. No eyepatches, no "I'm gonna use one hand because otherwise this would be boring". No "I'm fighting in my sealed state, but I'm still gonna kick your ass". This is finally Zaraki in his truest form. He's finally unleashed his potential and become a demon. I would'nt really say its a power boost. Its more like all his limitations have been stripped away; everything that was holding him back from savoring true battle has finally been removed, and it is gorgeous.
good luck trying to use it, this really is a Bankai only Zaraki can use. Its a physical augmentation and a removal of limits; if anyone else tried using it they'd burn themselves out so fast they wouldnt even have a chance to land a blow. Its really more like the 8 gates that Gai from Naruto uses than a Bankai, in the sense that it relies heavily on the user himself having an exceptionally strong body
He has become death incarnate.
I wonder who is going to stop him if he attacks them, they shouldn't be able to do anything. Kido might do the thing and Hachi is around, maybe he and Tessai contain him with some bakudou and barriers
i hope aizen reveals its all been a fucking dream sequence since he looks at ichigo at end of soul society arc and was charging his lazor or some shit as ichigo snaps out of it and then heart.
Byakuya remembers he can do that thing he used to destroy Ichigo's borrowed Shinigami powers. Kenpachi becomes a Muggle, but he won't mind because a nerf means many strong enemies to fight.
I doubt he can land that thing on anyone who is above vice captain level. Zaraki's bankai might have a time limit though and looking at him it looks like when he reverts to the sealed form, he'll be out of the fight till the end of the series
Not him, but you know his name is Kaien fucking Shiba.
>So, is his Bankai just a major power boost?
People that have fancy-shmancy Bankai powers are mostly those that are skilled with Kidō. In turn, those that have absolutely no skill with it (like Ichigo or Zaraki) get only massive straight power boost.
Which is fine by me, better to have him fighting at full power at all times than to have some kind of "warm up" mechanic that has already been done to death.
>Every new bankai except 2 failed so what are the chances this one will fail too?
Gotta be at least 80%. That victory was way too quick, and there's no reason to expect that slicing in two will be too much for the Miracle.
Where have you been all this past week? Not only have anons been calling it for years these chapters also she some light on the little clues in their flashbacks. At some point you've had to have wondered how he came across a baby in the middle of nowhere that grew up to be a vice-captain level fighter.
How could my little sword spirit be this cute?
>Stupid for Kubo to have a sword be walking around
Stark says hi.
Kyoka Suigetsu is a 4-kanji phrase (yojijukugo) meaning "Mirror-flower, water moon," referring to that which can be seen but not touched, as a flower in a mirror and the moon in the water. Its power, generating illusions, alludes to this.
Is Zaraki really a Shinigami? His Bankai has more in common with Resureccion
>alters his physical appearance; we've seen Shinigami whose clothes change with their weapons, but this is probably the first time we've seen a Shinigami whose body was altered by releasing their Zanpakuto
>Most of his Bankai's power is concentrated in his body. The sword itself is just a really sharp meat cleaver; its the reverse of Ikkau's Bankai, where his weapon was meting most and had its own goddamn energy bar
>Loses his mind; I don't think we've ever seen a Bankai that actually altered its users mind. He has more in common with Hollows like Grimmjow and Yammy who became noticeably more bloodlusted when they released
I dont think he's a Hollow exactly, but he seems to have an awful lot in common with them from what we've seen in this chapter. Perhaps he's actually a legit demon who acquired Shinigami powers somehow; after all, the Bleach Hell Movie confirms the existence of demons from Hell in the Bleach universe
Nah, Tensa Zangetsu only offered speed stats and black Getsuga Tenshou's. Whatever sword Zaraki's using gave him the full package; speed, strength, cutting ability and probably enhanced durability
This entire post is literally everything that is wrong with Zaraki as a character. The only facets of him that are even remotely interesting are the fucking speculations and headcanons about him. By himself, he's just a fucking 1D, RIP AND TEAR boring piece of shit.
>CUT HARDER WITH A VENGENCE
This is the entire summation of his "character development" throughout the entire series. Why does Kubo keep shoving him down our throats if he doesn't even do anything with him at all? This faggot is literally an edgy fifth grader's OC in manga form.
You're mostly right, but there are some nuances to him as a character that make people like him besides the fact that he's an edgy berserker
>Has a code: Will only fight opponents that can challenge him and will kill only when they insist of continuing to fight after he's grown bored
>Lonely wandering ronin: Its a trope, sure, but people love the mystery of a lonely master swordsman traveling the world in search of a good death
>Untapped secret potential: We've finally come to the end of Zaraki's journey. We've seen hi grow from a captain who didn't know or care about his soul cutter to someone who has reclaimed his past and has fulfilled his full potential. Its not a deep character arc by any means, but hey.
>Yachiru: Brings out another dimension to his character that isn't just murder n' chill.
He could've been developed a bit better, but Kubo knew Zaraki fans arent the kind of people who write posts on 4chan about character development and all that shite
>His Bankai has more in common with Resureccion
My thoughts exactly.
It only makes him slightly more different than most, though. Bankai comes in all shapes, forms and sizes. Thinking anything beyond that is just your typical pseudo intellectual bullshit of a Level 5 reader wannabe.
Still have not seen the new Bamako for Byakuya. And yeah, his new shikai is comparable to his old bankai. His new bankai will be a special sight. He keeps pace with rival kenpachi so it will be comparable to kens new strength.
Go ahead and defend your special faggot snowflake STRONKEST BADASS character, samefag. Why don't you tell us all how DEEP he is, and about the subtle nuances of how he USES TWO HANDS SOMETIMES.
Dumb faggots. Unohana was legitimately a billion times more interesting than this cunt, with ancient history in the formation of the Soul Society and the first Blood War, and even a giant adorable lieutenant who wanted to rub clit with her. And yet we're stuck with this testosterone garbage pile of edgyfaggot powerlevel wank material. By all means, attempt to justify that you cumslurping fagtron.
>Kubo knew Zaraki fans arent the kind of people who write posts on 4chan about character development and all that shite
Yeah, because their parents usually block those kind of sites, anon. Since Zaraki was written to be appreciated by chuuni faggots who get bullied relentlessly and dream their power being maximum like their heroes Broly and Zaraki.
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Kubo just has "badass psycho captain" written next to his first character design sketches for Zaraki. He probably just planned for Zaraki to be a crazy-ass psycho murderer that would show readers how dangerous Soul Society can be. Was probably pretty suprised Zaraki wound up being one of the most popular characters in the series
Honestly his design is way too intricate for that; for instance, the hair bells to help his enemies sense his presence. Given how much development both he and Ichigo got from their encounter in Soul Society means Kubo knew exactly what he was doing with Zaraki.
>So, is his Bankai just a major power boost?
I don't get why people are surprised by this. Look at the other two now-sidelined captains - their Bankai are "more flower petals" and "more ice"
Kenpachi's being "more rampant bloodlust and cutting people into tiny little pieces" makes perfect sense.
At least she had potential, anon. What does Zaraki have other than being a "mysterious nameless boy" who somehow effortlessly wounded the most insanely powerful combatant Shinigami who had never once been wounded in a thousand+ years and during any of her battles against Ywach in the first Quincy Wars? Will we ever even get an explanation for that other than "Japanese male in a shonen"?
So a bit of a stretch here, but is it possible Yhwach and Ichigo's powers might end up resembling time stopping?
Fake Zangetsu stopped time to power up Ichigo against Kenpachi, and Mugetsu was described as cutting through time (might be bad translation).
I know you're being sarcastic here, but you still got me for a second.
eh, I actually agree with him. Zaraki's intro and fight with Ichigo was really well done and had a lot of thought put into them now I think about it. And he had a sizable role to play after his fight with Ichigo, so he wasn't just a midlevel boss for Ichigo to fight.
His sword looks like it's broken, Oetsu needs to come back and upgrade it.
>Anyone cares about your opinion
>Anyone cares you're not having fun but you
We're having fun, you're not.
Oh yes, you definitely drink jizz at at least a secondary school level, anon. You should be proud of yourself. Few people ever reach the level of self-important delusion where they weave their own headcanons into paltry, bare-bones narratives and pretend that they have some higher level of intellect that graces them with the unique mental prowess necessary to see that what normal plebs would categorically view as a lame, one-dimensional walking cliche of a character as the truly deep, intriguing paragon of nihilism with a wicked sense of humor that it truly is. You're a real scholar among savages, and that's why you drink your own semen.
None of us are having fun, we're just stuck on this ride until it's over.
Last good chapters were Ichigo getting his new swords and the Hollow/Zangetsu conclusion, and Yhwach fucking the monk up.
We haven't seen a good bankai since Yama's and the only thing to look forward to are Yhwach's and Ichigo's abilities and fight.
I guarantee Kubo will fuck up Toofsy and Uryu somehow.
Purely going off the number of (You)s in this thread, you're rather incorrect. But here's a (You) for you too, since you're clearly attention whoring your blog opinions, fagtron.
It's broken or incomplete.
Another major power boost incoming for zaraki.
Feel free to cite for discussion any of those "multiple chapters of character development", anon. I'd love to see a single iota of decent character development on what is objectively a walking, all-caps talking testosterone-fueled powerlevel fantasy shonen trope.
Nice evasion, anon. Well memed. But seriously, in an adult discussion people have to actually back up their assertions with facts. You'll have to learn to do it for when you get to high school, champ.
>implying this is his bankai
>it's not huge
>didn't say Bankai followed by the Bankai's name
>some fag buttflustered that his 1-dimensional big titted yandere waifu died
>attacking equally shitty characters in an extremely shitty manga
Shame and then shame with more shame
>Bankai is supposed to be the ultimate powerboost for Shinigami
>The sword just becomessss- an ordinary sword then split in half
I never laughed so hard in my life at a manga panel. All this hype and buildup and Kubo's imagination is as shitty as Kenny's probably would for what his 'ultimate power' would be. The only way it could've been simpler is if it was his fists or a plain knife.
>No, I'm not going to prove it to you, I wouldn't have to if you just opened your eyes to the truth
Okay, anon. I accept your roundabout concession that Zaraki is a one-dimensional flaming dumpster fire of a character. We both know that there is no "character development" when it comes to him. You can't provide examples of something that does not exist.
You don't understand Kenpachi or his Bankai.
The only thing holding back Zaraki before using Bankai was himself.
Thus, his Bankai is his sword unhinging the limits he's always placed on himself.
It still consisted of more physical matter than a sword is composed of. But then so is Zaraki's cleaver thing.
>my super-deep, intellectual conclusion that Zaraki is as complex and soulful as myself is as apparent to a peerless wit such as mine as oxygen should be to a rube of your ilk
You're nothing if not entertaining, anon. Keep smelling your own farts and drinking your own semen, it's hilarious to watch someone planted this far up their own ass squirm around.
>smelling your own farts
Different anon. How is that an insult? Like when you people fart in your house, do you just jump out through the window and live in a hotel for a week or something until house is fully ventilated?
he was yelling in this panel, not biting
he cleaved it off with his butcher sword
That's the thing. Physical. Most shinigami that are at level where thay can achieve Bankai, are at least competent at Kidō, and most of their Bankai is that magical stuff. Either summoning something (Kurotsuchi, Tōsen, Byakuya), amplifying their elemental power (Rukia, Yamamoto, Hitsugaya), or just doing weird shit in general (Kyōraku). Sometimes sword itself disappears, sometimes it stays behind unchanged, and just as often it transforms to be used as main means of fighting.
That being said, since most of "big stuff" around Bankai is caused by Kidō, and since both Zaraki and Ichigo absolutely suck at Kidō, in their cases Bankai has no fluff power, only sword to hit things with.
It seems obvious to me that the size of the sword is irrelevant- he can cut things with the blade that isn't there.
It's a pretty straightforward extrapolation of what Yachiru did in her fight.
So you're just going to ignore the fact he's biting a giant reiatsu giant impervious to most all attacks when he assumed that form, excluding when an actual weapon was used against him? It's probably not so easy to actually bite through him.
Considering the amount of strength Kenpachi displayed, you'd think another physical unarmed attack (the punch) would do something other than send the giant flying jaw intact, right?
Anyways you're just ignoring the form going into his mouth either way. And the panel after, and his sword not moving.
>I am severely disappointment
What did he mean by this?
The smell of ones own farts is a delicacy over there, right? Along with maggot-infested cheese, 5-year-old fermented fish guts and ducks fed other ducks until their livers explode.
I'd be surprised if it weren't something somewhat similar. Remember that Yachiru is literally the sword (spirit) he's holding in his hand and the ability she used in battle was cutting before/after her own sword swings via two phantom creatures.
Being his zan spirit, that ability is his ability.
>only say part of the release
>only get part of a sword
Well, the Miracle gains strength from the masses right?
Not him but, what if since it's one person beating the Valkyrie (which none of the masses expected) his ability doesn't activate?
Okay even if that does happen he'll Vollstandig but still
That's similar to what I'm thinking, but I feel like the answer is going to be more intricate than that. Zaraki's bond with Yachiru, now his sword, has enormous potential because of the strength of their relationship.
He already had a powerup in the Royal Realm. As he told As Nodt, his Shikai can now control a greater amount of petals. I don't think we've seen him use Bankai since before then.
I think cloning Thor is going to cause a new weakness, since only one of them can wield the sword.
>it's mine you fool, the masses have chosen me!
>they get into a fight and kill each other
Could Kenpachi have killed Askin? What about angel nigger?
Also has he used
>all the OP idiots in the manga together can't beak Yhwach. Only the most improbably stroke of luck could do it. The whole plan was to throw main characters at yhwach until Urahara could manipulate all variables of probability in their favor at the same time to give Sushigawara a single chance to use a 99.99% Jackpot Knuckle.
Like Pernida, Kenpachi would likely have not been able to counter Askin's poison. And Lille was invulnerable to all physical attacks.
Kendo is Kenpachi's strongest attack, but his Bankai seems to best utilize his preferred fighting stance.
>When Shunsui asked about a painting of a dark silhouette within a field of fire, Yamamoto explained how the painting was of a monster which appeared in Soul Society a long time ago. He stated it had appeared at a time when Soul Society was facing a difficult situation, and the monster's appearance had made the situation worse. Yamamoto stated it was unlikely to return, but if it did, its return would mark Yamamoto's last day in Soul Society.
What does it mean, guys?
so did this fight really fucking happen? I thought it was all some ruse because the one guardian who was "shot in the head" wasn't really shot. Then she just disappears.
The "monster" was Yama's Bankai, what it meant was probably that the last time it appeared was when Yama fought Yhwach, hence the "difficult situation", and his Bankai made it worse. Probably because it kills everyone in a 10 mile radius and summons the dead.
That conversation happened before the First Blood War. The picture showed Yamamoto with Zanka no Tachi West. But Royd, when he had Yhwach's memories thought there was only Zanka no Tachi East. So the picture is from another time. My personal theory: Ever wondered why Hueco Mundo is a desert? Or how the first Oken was created?
I really really really want to see yamamotos fight with ywach part one
It would hilarious with ywhach seeing the future and still getting his asskicked
>ywhach: I can see your every move I know you will strike right so I can simply dodge left
>yamamoto punches him
I don't think seeing the future when fighting Yama would help you when all you see is this.
Yhwach didn't have the Almighty then. Creating 26 Sternritter and distributing all these soul pieces weakened him considerably to the point that he lost the Almighty. OMZ does look younger than Yhwach, when he met Haschwalth. Yamamoto probably used this opportunity to invade the world of the living and defeat Yhwach,
>Yhwach didn't have the Almighty then. Creating 26 Sternritter and distributing all these soul pieces weakened him considerably to the point that he lost the Almighty.
That's weird, i'm looking everywhere but i can't see where you go that from?
Well we know that Yhwach gets stronger when takes the soul pieces back. So it stands to reason, that he would get weaker, if he sends the soul pieces out. We also know that he created 26 Sternritter for this exact purpose. Ichibee didn't knew about the Almighty, despite having the information from Yamamoto's fight with him during the First Blood War. And we know, that Yhwach gets older the more powerful and eviler he becomes. OMZ, how he looked 1000 years ago is younger than how Yhwach looked in Bazz-B's flashback.
I think he had the Allmighty, i mean, you'd have to be stupid to willingly give away that power. We know from Toofsy that he had to keep his eyes closed until the 9 days of power ended because otherwise bad things would happen. So to me it's pretty hard to believe that he would give that power up, especially if he was going to war with Soul Society.
I think it's likely that he was weaker back then, but i'd assume he could still see into the future.
I think Yhwach planned to invade Soul Society once he got the Almighty back. It was most likely just a temporal loss. But Yamamoto invaded before that could happen and thus Yhwach lost. Would also be a nice callback to the first invasion. Yamamoto originally planned to strike first, but Yhwach made that plan naught.
>you will never have a loli meat cleaver that turns you into a bloodthirsty OP demon beserker
I'm still hoping it happens
This one wasn't convenient. The last few fights were rock-paper-scissors, this one was just a beatdown.
Whatever definition of convenient you're using, it wouldn't apply to all of them.
It seems to be like ichigos full blown vizard form where ichigo is border line hollowfied and is impossible to reason with and craves pure destruction
This chapter reminds me Reborn. It's exactly the same kind of development that every Reborn fight have after the first half of the series.
Man, this was awful. I hope Kenpachi become a threat to Soul Society now.
I forgot bulk and skull where in the royal realm; not like theyve done anything besides follow Kenpatchi around anyway.
Also anyone else think we're getting a show revival soon? Bleach just had a Puzzle and Dragons collaboration event launch and got its own freemium mobile game not too long ago. All seemingly out of the blue. It feels like they're testing the waters for some actual good bleach media like a show revival or maybe a decent full fledged game.
Gerard will most likely defeat Kenpachi. Question is more, who will defeat Gerard. The same happened with Shunsui and Yoruichi. And Gerard has the excuse of being the heart of the Soulking, the Miracle and the Hogyoku.
her 'shikai' was just an extension of what she can do with Kenpachi's reiatsu.
Also anons have pointed out that her two companions resemble parts of Kenpachi's Shikai: Bone guy is the sword while Fluffy guy is the tassel at the end of the sword.
>mfw people on here hate on bleach enough to comment about it
if you didn't like it so much why waste your time letting others know your dislike?
Anyways, I'm stoked that he's a demon or at the very least has horns
I'm excited for what's next
Will probably become relevant in the second half of this arc. Ganju may teach Ichigo how to use his special Quincy powers. There is also his connection to Kukaku, Urahara and Isshin.
Aizen's entire plan in the SS and HM arcs WASN'T done in order to invade the Royal Realm outright, it was an elaborate ruse to a) put Ichigo under Kyouka Suigetsu and b) power up Ichigo and lose to him so the Hougyoku could evolve him past Ichigo's level. Getting caught was part of his plan. He just has to lay low for a while in jail, wait for Ichigo to beat Bach who he can't beat directly because he can see through Kyouka Suigetsu, and then dispose of Ichigo who doesn't know he's under his illusion. Then keikaku doori, Soul King position up for the taking.
It doesn't work that way. He creates powers for them. They cultivate it for him and when they die, it goes back to him, making him even stronger. He doesn't get any weaker at all.
He does get weaker if he can't get new souls. So the same may happen, if he gives part of his soul away. Removing part of your soul does weaken you. Look at what happened to Rangiku.
That makes even less sense. He was comatose for 999 years. It would've been impossible for him to revive if he required new souls all the time, while having no powers, couldn't think, and couldn't move.
Did you even read the early chapters of this arc?
I'm glad Kenpachi didn't talk this chapter.
Urahara's technically won it for him.
Also all of those bankai are gimmicks and one-trick ponies. Kenpachi's is pure consistent force.
Not trying to ride zaraki's dick but he's usually one of the captains that doesn't lose.
I wonder if Kubo is still doing this.
>inb4 the Quincy arc is longer than this
Calling it now, one of three things will happen.
1. Gerard's permanently dead cause the masses seeing an enraged demon bankai Kenpachi removed all fear and thoughts that Gerard could/would survive, and since Gerard's miracles depend on the fears and thoughts of the masses, he can't bring himself back
2. 1 happens, but then someone, most likely Toshiro wonders if it's really over and that doubt lets Gerard perform a miracle and come back
3. No matter who doubts it or not, Gerard simply pulls off a miracle and instead of being a giant still, takes on a smaller size with all his strength and powers concentrated into it, and becomes like a more vengeful more biblical kinda thing where he can perform harmful "miracles" as he sees fit. Prepare for smiting, plagues, darkness, the earth swallowing people up, storms, blindness and holy fire
I don't know. The last little bit with Ice/Brother and Hat/Cat going back and forth in a comedic way seems like he went back and read a few of his old volumes and saw the comedy parts he's neglected for like 8 years.
Something done in the style of the first Asura's Wrath anime episode would be perfect.
So if Yachiru is his sword than when he tied with ichigo in their first fight and he tried talking to his sword he wasn't really talking to anyone all this time he was already best friends with his sword?
I think Gerard might be the shittiest quincy.
You aren't supposed to be friend's with your sword that's wack!
I know that feel, it is the fate of all Vizards.
>tfw the most recent and last Naruto game did Guy the most justice and not the anime
>12:14: (Oh no...)
11:16 is where it starts
dat top panel... I really need to restock my folders.
shame the whole crew got shelved. Werren't they fighting thor too? Could have sworn she hit him with a cero to save Shinji (favorite character).
Bleach need a a good video game badly. While I'd prefer another 2D fighter like Bleach: Dark Souls, I'll take a shitty 3D fighter or even a dynasty warriors clone at this point.
Shinji is the only Vizard that made it up to Thor, all the others got off paneled by X. And Shinji got crushed by Thor.
My sources indicate that he is going to help kill Gerard with his Bankai.
And yes, he was.
SINCE WHEN WERE YOU UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE FUTURE YOU SAW WAS AN ACTUAL FUTURE AND NOT AN ILLUSION PLANTED IN YOUR BRAIN BY KYOKA SUIGETSU
Naruto is bad to be fair, but it did have its fun and badass moments, this being one of them.
Naruto was good for literally every other character except for the main ones, which is ironic.
Well Gerard did say he never turned that big before.
That said, Owl nigga did keep implying that they trained or fought other people. Like when they thought they stomped the Royal Guard he said
>has there ever been anyone who has been able to stand up to us?
And when he was shooting at Shunsui's group he was like
>i've seen countless groups like you, to think i held you shinigami in higher regard
>zaraki becomes ah to gyaru slut thanks to the power of loli
please kubo, just take all my money already
How come all you faggots call this a Bankai? He didn't say it, Yachiru just hinted that this could be the power he needs, his bankai. He most likely just fucked up and half-assed it so he ended up with an incomplete form.
That explains why he has no intellect and it's just raw power/instinct since he's not in control because he fucked up.
Kojima was the spirit king all along.
What if his Bankai is that he keeps getting stronger and stronger and his body changes to reflect that?
That Urahara made more than 1 of those "special" gigais and is gonna use it to turn Ywach human.
I didn't even notice, fuck me. Looking at the chapter again, on page 15 you can clearly see the horns in the bottom panel.
Fuck, Zaraki must be confirmed from Hell. What if he's the Hell King's son or some shit or Yachiru's the hell queen or daughter. How does a loli turn you into a red demon anyway?
If we see Yachiru's Bankai form, is she going to be a gal?
The entire quincy arc was Deicide 24.
It's certainly a power boost but I think it's incorporating Yachiru's shikai as well.
He cut through both Gerard's shield and face despite being nowhere near his face. If he had two "phantom slashes" each time he swung his sword, it would at all of deadliness to each attack, as well as account for the much larger range he seems to have.
>Gerard, "Yes there was a sudden uptick in your reiatsu"
>implying it went up a little but now he can't sense it anymore
that's it guys, Zaraki just went full ascension, he's on a completely different plane of existence. kinda reminds me of what Aizen said in his battle with Ichigo, how he thought Ichigo gave up all his powers in exchange for raw strength and speed
>Zaraki's Bankai is fusing with his Zanpaktou
So uh.. are we just going to ignore how these skeletons on the GATES OF HELL have some kind of bell rings and horns? Kenpachi could be a great way to introduce the Hell aspect in the manga
In 40 chapters? Bleach moves too slow to finish in that short time frame. If Kubo wanted to rush it, he could probably come very close to 700 but I'm still positive that he'd reach over 700.
>>zaraki uses bankai
>>effortlessly beats the miracle
>>stronger than Byakuya & Hitsugaya combined
Byakuya & Hitsugaya = Not special war potentials
Zaraki = Special war potential
Final boss is bullshit so he knows all the shit apparently, including which guys are the most dangerous even potentially.
I liked Yamamoto's and Rukia's. Admittedly Yamamoto's seems pretty simple until you get to the undead which just doesn't make much sense, but it was neat. Rukia's is cool because it's basically the ice counterpart to Yamamoto and once she masters it she'll dethrone Hitsugaya as strongest ice type. I also liked Unohana's trippy ass acid Bankai because it was weird.
>who will defeat Gerard
Shinji of course
She won't. That's not how her Zanpakuto works.
The reason Hyorinmaru is considered the strongest ice-elemental Zanpakuto is because it's basically the ice equivalent of Ryujin Jakka. Hyorinmaru is the only ice-element Zanpakuto that can alter the very weather itself. In terms of sheer attack radius and output, it greatly outperforms Sode-no-Shirayuki. It also allows for far greater control, and isn't a double-edged sword like Rukia's. Due to how Sode-no-Shirayuki works, it's literally impossible for it to exceed Hyorinmaru in terms of output.
Sode-no-Shirayuki alters the temperature of the user and then extends that to her surroundings. Its power comes purely from itself and its range is naturally small due to this. Hyorinmaru affects the surroundings directly and, according to Hitsugaya, can "utilize all of the water in the atmosphere". They're two very different things.
>Question is who will defeat Gerard.
Several people of course, but because of his size, and eventually his corpse, I can see Soifon using her shikai to make it disappear, or Hachi teleporting it somewhere else.
>If this were an adult discussion, you'd have the reading comprehension to appreciate Zaraki's development, even if you don't particularly like his archetype. But alas.
If Kubo could read English he would masturbate so hard to this.
He spelled out the means to his own destruction
So what you're saying is..
That all he's doing right now is using his zanpaktou correctly and he's become one with it as it shares it's power it invigorates him and changes his skin color but he hasn't even bankai'd yet right?
>Mera will never be important or even properly in frame
In no order
Kyoka Suigetsu (just wish we'd see its bankai)
Sode no Shirayuki
Suzumushi (if the space it creates in bankai is inescapable, like it creates its own infinite space on the inside so you can't just run out of its area)
Sode no Shirayuki can go to absolute zero though, which is pretty much the pinnacle of power for ice/cold based abilities. Imagine what she can do with it once she has actually trained with it.
>mangakas are supposed to be poor as fuck, even popular ones
>kubo lives in a huge fancy apartment
Is he secretly yakuza or something.
The powers have yet to be grasped by Haschwalth, not by Yhwach.
Sode no Shirayuki is basically an extremely cold block of ice. It can freeze anything it comes in direct contact with, but it could also potentially shatter itself. It can also only be active for a very short period of time.
Hyorinmaru's a weather control system with a high energy consumption rate, but it poses little risk to the user, is more versatile, has a far wider effect radius and has a longer active time than Shirayuki.
Sode no Shirayuki basically excels at one thing at a tremendous cost. Hyorinmaru is great at everything ice-related for far less cost. The biggest flaw with Shirayuki is that it absolutely needs to win in one strike. If it fails, it's hilariously wide open to a counterattack or even outright self destruction.
Basically, Hyorinmaru is Blizzard while Sode no Shirayuki is Sheer Cold.
>ignoring the nature of users power levels
Pros: We are ignoring the reiatsu of the enemy.
Cons: One would need to be as fast as Soifon to make it best zanpakutou.
His Bankai makes it where he can no longer hold back and can finally go all out.
As he becomes a true Berserker
This is important since he constantly holds himself back in countless ways that he can't turn off even while trying. In order to go all out he has to become a mad beast with a hatchet.
Major power boost also
What? Did you miss the whole chapter where the only highlight was the visored almost doing something for once? Shinji was the first one dropped, and then later picked up by Hinamori. The others have more chance coming back before SHinji does.
