Hey guys I am new to the series and rereading at the moment since I read through all of Alan so fast. I was wondering if anyone could clear up how currency works in the NW?

When Ainz is asked to replace Brita's potion she said it cost 1g 10s. Now in DND I thought it was 10 copper to 1 silver, 10 silver to 1 gold, 10 gold to 1 platinum.

Things get more confusing when Ainz gives the innkeeper 1 silver for a 7 copper room and gets 6 copper back. One might guess that the exchange rate between currencies is 13-1, but that is proven not to be the case when Sebastian gives the criminal platinum and it is said to be 1-10 platinum-gold.

Lastly when Brita gets Ainz's potion evaluated Lizzie says she will pay 32 gold for it. It's alright for it to be in gold and not platinum as platinum is for trading between countries it was said, however 32 gold is enough to feed 3 families for 3 years. If the normal family is 3 people that is 27 years worth of food for one person. Which means Brita's potion was worth upwards of 10 months worth of food. Even if Brita was trying to rip Ainz off, that seems damn excessive.

I'm probably thinking about it way too hard, but wtf is up with currency here.

If Ainz want to know if he and the NPCs are able to level up in the NW, wouldn't the best solution be to train one of the Homunculus Maids? He could give one of these items that increase exp gained and train her. Since the HM are only level 1, it wouldn't take a lot of time and he could ask Aura to analyze the maid with her skill to see if there is growth in level.

You forgot that he has an army of 500 Death Knight + Warriors riding 500 Soul Eaters. People know that they are all legendary undeads. 3 Soul Eaters destroyed a city of beastmen and killed over 100,000, and beastmen are stronger than human.

Actually, since Momon is serving Nazarick under duress, it makes him the perfect person to quietly contact about Ainz Ooal Gown.

So how does the adventurer's guild play into Ainz 'make an utopia for all races' plan? The adventurer's guild objective has always been to defend humanity from external threats, so what could Ainz do to make them accept other demi-human and heterommorphic races?

All that so that the real Operation Gehenna against Eight Fingers would have a legitimate smokescreen and bonus objectives Demiurge cooked up for the future of "Jaldabaoth".

A) securing Renner as a conspirator (though she probably sees something through of Demiurge's ploys).

B) securing wealth for short-term benefit of Nazarick and weakening the Kingdom as noted by narration in 6th vol that "future would get rough" due the lost wealth.

C) Neutralizing Eight Fingers and taking them over to use them against enemies of Nazarick (and Renner probably).

D) Giving the "base" upon which Demiurge and Ainz can base their "feud" of Jaldabaoth and Momon upon. You know, making a new threat outside of Ainz to New World. Demon God King Jaldabaoth and how Momon could crusade against him and show how Ainz being the utopia leader lends his strength to Momon's cause.

Did I miss to mention anything else? But yeah, it would quite amusing if Renner would somehow play the Kingdom's main scapegoat into using the Armageddon Evil. Ie some Greater Noble being used as a scapegoat because they/one of them thinks they can trump Ainz AND/OR Zanack/Renner/Raeven powerhouse from rising to power.

Since weren't the great nobles on the flanks of the army with Bowlroib on the left and wanting all the glory, leaving King/Raeven to the center and right flank was nobility faction too?

Well at least they lost mouths to feed but that's pretty bad hit when they were also the main workforce of the levied villages. Mass starvation where Renner & Raeven can shine through as the prime minister & golden princess as Zanack grabs the throne now that the chance is ripe.

Well Renner probably doesn't give a scrawny ass' worth about saving the most of the peasants but just enough he can test Climb's "adoring eyes".

On that note I'd so love to see Renner put Climb through the final test of character and his loyalty. I wonder if she even plans to one day let the mask fall in front of Climb or does she plan on keeping the mask on to the end.

"Climb, this is the real me, how do you feel" and when Climb averts his adoring eyes for the first time, it's game over for Renner, making her just succumb to the "evil demon" side.

Well the kingdom is a decentralised feudal society and the king just lost a lot of his personal lands that provided him with wealth and men while pretty much every village will be missing and assload of peasants to work the fields.
It should collapse to inner turmoil and expansive neighbors but no doubt Renner will use her super genius powers to prevent that.
