Because Accel is more capable of reaching level 6, Mikoto needs to be forced into it and won't survive the process. My point was more that, if we make the assumption that all Level 5s have an equivalent to Accel's wing forms*, then what we've seen so far of Nuit or whatever you want to call it lines up pretty nicely with Black Wings, and it wouldn't be to much of a leap to assume that there is also a form that will resemble White Wings (more power, more stability). Whether she will both reach that point and survive the process is definitely up for debate though.

*This may be a bit of a leap, since we've not seen Kakine do it and he should be more able to do it than Mikoto.

No, it doesn't. What it actually does line up with, is AIM Burst and Fuse Kazakiri. The creation of Accelerator's wings is partly attributed to unknown laws (read: magic) from Index's song. It caused a change within Accelerator himself that allowed him to manifest the black wings. More specifically, the song that was supposed to "fix" LO's brain also affected and "fixed" something within Accelerator's brain. See Aleister's comment:
