Airs in a few hours, you guys hyped?
Can we get some unified list of what it means for what shows to be broadcast on what networks?
I've seen all sorts of shit be implied based off of network and I want to get a firm grip on the whole thing.
Shit like an anime being 12 or 13 episodes, whether it can possibly be a short or not, and now this shit with delayed simulcasts. There's probably more shit that I'm unaware of as well.
>tfw nowadays I'm more excited for adaptions of things I've already read rather than anime-originals
The show occupies a 30 minute timeslot.
I often like originals but it's logical that they aren't hyped unless they're associate with some big names like Type Moon or Trigger. Manga already have an established fanbase.
Acchan please fucking
Jokes aside, I think they were only able to fit in so much volleyball because these chapters were short. Unfortunately I expect those scenes to appear less often later on.
I don't think it's just them getting lucky. They actually tried and got some great talent with directors and VAs. But the state of everything else definitely makes their competence look much better than it otherwise might
No, no, no. That's Showa Genroku Sakamoto Shinju.
THIS is Kikuhiko desu ga?
I can smell a thousand fujos gone wet watching based Sakamoto
I can smell everyone getting wet
Real talk , how do I become as cool as Sakamoto?
Fuckin hell. This show is ripe for speed subs yet I doubt anybody will pick it up. Wouldn't even be hard because you could just crib off the manga translation.
I bet even I could do it.
Nice try. Just accept that your flavor of the season harem is nothing extraordinary (it mostly sells for the Aqua/darkness fanservice panering) and everything else is just fujo direction shit.
DDY and Commie are the only two very active groups right now, neither has the best quality. FFF is still "active" but they release very slowly.
Then you have a handful of smaller groups that just pick up 1 show a season or something.
You can't show me a single erotic fanservice shot, so I guess that makes me right and you wrong.
But you have no idea what you're talking about, you're just a Konosuba fag obsessing over how good it was.
I wouldn't call it fanservice unless they show asses, focuses on erotic closeups, etc.
I don't care about tits, but they could have shown her ass, or ass cheek, or anything in an erotic shot.
But they never did.
>I wouldn't call it fanservice unless they show asses, focuses on erotic closeups
Oh so basically you're an idiot who doesn't even know what fanservice means. You're like that other idiot spouting memes about Deen being shit without even knowing why people say they're shit.
>I wouldn't call it fanservice unless they show asses, focuses on erotic closeups
I miss the days when /a/ actually knew what basic concepts like fan service meant. Fucking hell.
Guy was right, you don't know what fanservice means. It's just service for fans, anything put in as a treat for them. Megumin writhing on her staff definitely qualifies if nothing else.
>I don't know what fanservice means
Makes sense since you have no idea what fujo is either.
This is fanservice for example.
I was talking about erotic fanservice, and that's what it means. Nice try though pretending to be dumb.
See? They purposefully not going as far as to show even subtle asscheek.
Would you fucking stop already?
I mentioned multiple times I'm talking about EROTIC FANSERVICE, so don't play dumb. You know, which of Aqua got dozens of, or even succubi women.
Megumin though? None. Probably too young for their taste to show or something.
Sakamoto, ingesting something made using chemistry glassware is extremely hazardous.
I'd argue properly maintained chemistry glasswear is less hazardous to consume from then some coffee mug in your drawer. A half decent chemist would make sure that shit is sterile as fuck to avoid inaccuracies, and Sakamoto is by no means below a half decent chemist.
>Then you have a handful of smaller groups that just pick up 1 show a season or something.
and then take two weeks to come out with subs so so by the time your done actually watching the show, the next season is already halfway over.
Fucking incompetents weebs. they should dedicate their time. all 24/7 to my needs!
Time for a third viewing.
Next week is going to be great. Ishida is going to kill that chapter.
He cooks a delicious meal using the barest of ingredients already in the flat, and fixes the ceiling with the deepest apologies for destroying it in the first place. Saitama loses the will to fight such a kind ally.
Sakamoto's greatness transcends language.
Nobody turns gay for Sakamoto, anon. You can't turn into something you were born as.
>mfw /a/ will self insert as this oldhag
Really disappointed with this adaptation. The animation feels cheap and the show lacks this over the top seriousness that manga has.
The battle between Sakamoto and the hornet is literally a bunch of still that look nowhere near as close and dramatic as in the manga.
This was my favourite part of the manga, can't wait to see it.
Thought the adaption of the first episode was ok. Some of the pacing feels a bit too fast in places and in others it's perfect. Doesn't look like shit either for the most parts, and when it did it's because Ohys is fucking awful.
>See? They purposefully not going as far as to show even subtle asscheek.
>The battle between Sakamoto and the hornet is literally a bunch of still that look nowhere near as close and dramatic as in the manga.
I was afraid of this when I watch the PV.
still gonna watch it regardless
It's thematically similar to OPM. Sakamoto is a fairly static character and most of the stories are about how other people react to him, rather than being about him. If that doesn't appeal to you, you probably shouldn't watch it.
In TBS shows cases they are always (or mostly?) 13 episodes long. No shorts. And in terms of "simul"casts there's none, it'll take at least 1.5 days to be streamed on CR and in Funi's cases it can take up to four days.
>Minors are prohibited by law from smoking
>still no subs
I'm waiting on this and shounen maid where are the subs
I hope Sakamoto kills the chicken delivery guy who fucks his wife
>Hating based DEEN
I never thought I'd be able to say this.
Rakugo was only no QUALITY disaster because they had an extra season to fix shit. Their Konosuba adaptation skipped huge junks and was full with QUALITY in the last few episodes.
They're still the same old DEEN we know from the past few years. They were just lucky in winter.
Kek, hopefully we get the sequel with Sakamoto's daughter animated too.
>Konosuba adaptation skipped huge junks
They only skipped 2 stories.
You're only mad because those were the stories you wanted to see.
Blame Kadokawa for only asking 10 episodes.
The only reason I asked was because I had already done that of course.
Rinbayashi? Hayashirin? Hayashibayashi?
Too bad we never find out who any of these people are besides 8823. Who the hell is Honey? I also wonder why in the official English version, all of these names are edited out.
Hopefully the scribbles on the delinquent hideout chalkboard change frequently.
>sometime in the future when DEEN is the world number one anime studio
"how come there's no anime released by DEEN during the 2000-2010?"
"it's the void decade"
"no one talks about the void decade"
They made at least a few good shows during that period.
The only reason would be the volleyball scenes with Acchan, Kenken, and Mario. There's barely anything to look at in those scenes so it's not like subs would be a distraction. Though, their conversations are pretty easy to understand anyway.
This series is not going to be anywhere near as big as Osomatsu and Sakamoto doesn't have much shipping potential anyway, it won't go ignored but it won't be obsessed over either.
Found this while browsing the 2ch thread. Apparently you guys are being too gay.
That poster clearly doesn't understand that when people ask "is it okay to be gay for Sakamoto," or say "I'm so wet for Sakamoto," it's said in a joking manner.
Was it this specific thread he was talking about? Maybe he was looking through the homothread instead.
Why does 4chan as a whole like to be both gay and ironically gay at the same time?
Will we finally see the rebirth of fansubs with multiple delays on shows this season? I remember it used to be considered really fast to get subs out within a day and now we're so fucking spoiled with "oh just wait like 2 hours for HS".
I ended up watching the raw.
It was a pretty 1 to 1 adaption.
So if you have the manga open along with the anime you'll be perfectly fine.
He's worth the trouble.
OP song and lyrics are nicely fitting for the show. Still think the manga looks better with snappier transitions afforded by panels, but seems like an above average adaptation.
It's so strange how DEEN suddenly turned the corner last season. Not unwelcome, but I don't think anyone saw it coming.
Did they get a new executive/president or something, or some major talent hopping on board? Or did they perhaps already have the capacity but didn't have remotely enough funding to use it, and that changed?
Probably because it's Sakamoto.
For real though, I don't know.
>Rakugo and KonoSuba last season
>Sakamoto this season
>Rakugo confirmed for a s2
I'm also surprised. Especially if DJ Agetarou manages to also be decent. Even if 2016 so far is just a fluke from DEEN, I'll take it.
There is currently only 10 pages of Sakamoto fan art.
Hope to get more and of better quality.
