Should I keep on watching this? Other than the QUALITY, I don't like the japanese names.
>Game set in America
>lol, let's give them Japanese names anyway!
Seriously, what is up with the nips?
Ahh, the infamous Dixie villages
I bet there's a Confederate flag hidden somewhere, fucking hillbillies
How do they handle with the Japanese judicial system being significantly different from the American one?
Do they pretend there's a jury or similar?
I just replayed episode 2 of the first game.
Why is no one anticipating this semen demon being animated?
How are they going to handle Maya transforming into Mia?
In the game it's just a immediate cut, but in the show is she actually going to morph into her? Magical girl transformation style?
she's a bitch at worst
this is an actual demon
soooo fucking stupid.
Does this anime at least use music from the game? Half of the best parts of AA is when a fucker is caught lying and this starts playing:
>August 3: Phoenix Wright makes his court debut in the trial of Larry Butz for Cindy Stone's murder.
Well, 2016 was the future when Gyakuten Saiban was first released in 2001.
case 2 was interesting as a setup for Maya's family in Kurain village, and case 4 is excellent.
Otherwise the game is somewhat forgettable, despite hot doujins starring Franziska.
The hemorrhoids guy?
I don't think we'll be seeing Edgeworth until the third episode. But maybe he'll show up at the end of episode 2 and Phoenix will say some dramatic thing before the episode ends.
>civil """"""""" law"""'""'"""
>case 2-2 was good
Any case involving magic is weak shit.
T&T is my favorite but that last case could have been so much better.
the same people who thought the name I.C. Draggin would have sounded pretty stupid.
Wright at least gives you nice bunch of right/Wright/write jokes.
to sum up: localized names don't need to be direct translations:
Aiga Hoshiidake is ~ "I want some love"
"Luke Atmey" fits his character just as much and is the type of fun pun that you'd expect from the series.
maybe he was talking about this hunk of man
They should've localized Daigyakuten Saiban and established that Phoenix Wright is actually Naruhodo's quarter Japanese second cousin who has a job and friends eerily like his.
admittedly this whole "game is actually in California" thing only really worked for the first, and maybe the second game.
The first game has very little overt Asian elements outside of Maya - other things, like Dee Vasquez's yakuza gang, can easily be seen as the visual equivalent of a gangster mob.
After the original trilogy it is honestly hard to stretch the series taking place in the west because it just got too damn Japanese.
fuck you, hamburgers > ramen
far cuter, too.
>T&T isn't the best game of the series meme
>best tutorial case
>luke atmey best minor villain of the series
>furio tigre fake phoenix shenanigans and maya with a maid outfit
>the flashback case was one of the most shocking ever
>literally godlike final case
a truly great end to the trilogy, which only highlights how disappointing Apollo Justice's debut was.
>by the way Apollo i invented this system that lets you go back in time to get evidence to bring to the present and then get evidence to go back into the past to talk to people about it
I'm a huge fan of ace attorney and I'm gonna watch the first episode in a few hours. Wish me luck, guys.
Reminder to download CReep's release instead of Horriblesubs's.
