Full chapter is finally out
Annie is love
Annie is life
Annie is everything
Annie a miracle of the universe
Annie might've done some things wrong, but she's still a beautiful person inside and out
>FOR ROHAN !!
The 'biggest' thing happening so far is Monkey Trouble turning human, and that quadruped Titan thing that carries shit and can apparently speak.
How the hell are they going to turn the tables at this point? If they don't then they all die (or just 3~4 main characters make it alive).
At this point the only shit that can save them is something that will make them shifters or awakening the Titans sealed in the walls.
It is not action I care about
It is plot progression
Of which there has been almost literally none since they arrived.
The only real plot progression was the reveal of Marco's death details.
The chapter has action, but nothing happens. No one is affected, they just get a few scratches, cough a little and all is good. The only one slightly affected this chapter was Erwin, and that was only the last page.
>How the hell are they going to turn the tables at this point?
it's not all that hopeless. Levi isn't dead and can still kill MT, Reiner might be in soldier mode, and Eren could just use the coordinate to control Bertholt (chapter 50 showed titan shifters are affected by it)
I remember back when Rod Reiss was explaining shit to Historia and people complained because there was no titan and no action. Now we have titans and action and people want more plot.
They are, unless you're an overreacting dumblr fujo that makes a big deal out of every wound.
>OH NO MIKASA BROKE HER ARM
>LEVI BROKE HIS LEG
>HANJI BROKE HER BACK
None of these otherwise "serious" wounds ever affected the characters, or they never even happened. Hanji almost got boiled alive, fell full force on a pillar and then on the floor, now she even survived a bomb exploding on her.
Erwin even lost one arm and he can use the 3DMG, even though that makes no sense whatsoever. The 3DMG has two anchors and handles for a reason.
I don't even like BR as characters but all this constant attention on Erwin could have been used to tell us a bit more about the shifters and what their reasons are.
>I bet if it were a more limited and smaller success you guys would still be dicksucking it.
Maybe, but the problem is that we all here read it on a monthly basis, being hyped for the chapter before release and we're understandably disappointed. If it were a smaller success, there would be no generals, no one would be into it as much, threads would die at 30 replies at most and everyone would be reading it for fun every few months. It's not the same.
I quite like BR but beyond that I think the shifters and their reasons are interesting to every reader like you said. That focusing on Erwin feels a bit repetitive at this point yet I don't think EL's conversation is bad.
Reminders of characters' goals and dreams are fine but Isayama can't do it without making it too repetitive. Like at least make Erwin strife or struggle first instead of having more panels of him just standing around and talking.
> Was a good soldier
> Got top - 10 in order to become a policeman
> Hard - working and tried his best to improve goverment and life in the Walls. Found a lot of new friends and live happily in safe from titans.
> Everything ruined by criminals from SL
> Decided to help them because their ideas sounded good, even though it's a high risk for him and his friends.
> Decided to help SL to protect humanity and people he loves.
> Left best girl and all luxuries he had worked on with hope that it wouldn't be senseless.
> Get in the center of hell with depressed commander who doesn't even believe in his own words
> Marlo needs to calm down his comrades because he's the one who haven't lost mind
> Because of commander suicidal desicion now Marlo will probably die from stone and his life will be useless.
As a BRfag I wouldn't mind a Bert vs Reiner fight, but if it happens because Reiner regenerated only the soldier I'll be at least upset.
I mean think about it logically. Even if he only recovers the soldier, he wouldn't know how to control a titan, or why he's a titan. Plus when Bert asked him to lay down to protect himself, he did it, which means he was still aware he's a warrior.
This is a monthly manga, and repeating something once is enough for people to remember. (we have a month to reread old chapters) but this dream thing for eren and armin was repeated 2 time in back to back chapter 72 @73 (73 being a filler with just showing isayama improvement as an author) Erwin motivation being dark has been foreshadow in the last arc but it been repeated 3 time in the last 5 chapter. (thinking about the basement, standing on bodies, and now sitting down at the wall) It still the exact same message and it provide us nothing new about him or anyone else. ME Want to see basement, me lied, me selfish, me feel guility about death.
Isayama could had given those pages to develop somebody else .aka Mikasa, Hange, Sasha, connie
Or he could had done it in an intersting way. Like the scene armin and eren walking in the wood, they could had gone back to the time they were in wall rose starving pre military, nope he kept the same scene and dialogue from the old chapter.
Either provide a new way of showing the same thing or give the development to some one else who need it.
AND DONT FORGET THE SERIES IS ENDING IN AROUND 30 CHAPTERS. He wasting scene on doing the same development and the same emotion on the same character knowing there only a finate of chapters left. '
unless he expand the story again.
this chapter is disapointing because anyone who was rational would had seen the SC losing in chapter 75 if Reiner had just going and killed the horse. We wasted 5 chapters doing nothing accept learing Reiner healing powers. Marco death and Bert isn't a weak character.
That is actually true. We can think the same for BR with their "going back to their hometown" panels. About all of their panels, Erwin, EA and BR, it makes sense to see these things more than once because it's their main motivation to keep going and it isn't something momentary, it's always there with them.
I hate this theory. Exactly how is this fight going to happen? Reiner has never disassociated this badly and he hasn't had a reason to disassociate recently.
He was alive when Bert found him and listened to his advice to protect himself. There is no reason for "soldier" Reiner to come out, if ever. That was just an effect of being under cover for so long, just like how Bert was a ultra beta.
>and repeating something once is enough for people to remember.
You're overestimating the capacity of your normal reader to remember what happened in the previous chapters. We all remember because we always talk about it, but the casual readers just read the chapter and wait a month without thinking about it.
I'm also a BRfag and that's why the theory is full of holes but, I wouldn't put it pass Isayama. It's more in the sense that I can't see a way out for EMA and JCS without something being slightly wrong.
The shit writing with Reiner living where Bert explains how he survived seemed uneeded, Reiner's almost death could have been done completely different but, because the chapter focused heavily on how he survived and it was foreshadowed by Hange that titan's have the ability to transfer their conscious to their nervous system, to me atleast, says that it will be brought up again and probably for a bad reason.
Like other anons said, I don't like that idea if it's going to happen like this. Since Reiner seems like he actually heard and understood Bert's words, I assumed he is at his warrior self. Also there isn't any phycological trigger around to make Reiner switch like for two months. We can think if there is some sequel of that process when he moved his brain functions but I don't know really. It's Isayama's rules.
Now I would love to see CT and AT fighting together but seeing AT so good like that almost makes me suspicious. Everything just goes pretty good for BRZ and pretty bad SL but we all know it will change eventually. I wonder when and how it will be.
I thought this chapter was good. Even got a little emotional reading it. Though the Erwin stuff is a little repetitive, I really liked Levi's "take the recruits and go to hell". It was a good line, very classic Levi.
Soldier Reiner isn't aware he's a titan, and he was there to see Bert transform. Plus Bert told him to "move a little", not "lay down to protect your nape from the explosion". Reiner knew what he was doing.
True. Though in that case soldier Reiner he will find himself in AT and it is quite a big reminder of the truth. How Isayama will write it? Mindless titan makes more sense but I still hope for the warrior.
Mindless titan actually makes sense. His memories are intact inside the titan, but they will have to recover him somehow. But then again Reiner laid down when Bert told him so, which means he's not mindless.
This is even more retarded but, Soldier Reiner coming out doesn't have to be related with the whole transfering shit. He hasn't switched back since the last time it was addressed but, it was never shown that he got completely over it either. Maybe seeing his old 'comrades 'in danger like Connie might cause something.
The soldier was brought up in 77 again and Bert's flashback led to it, so I'm sure he will come up sooner or later. My point is that Reiner being inside a titan would be enough to snap him back to a warrior, since the soldier isn't aware of his shifting abilities.
But yeah I can see Isayama pulling this shit since it's the only way to give the 104th a chance.
Now is a perfect time for Eren to have more memories. Either his father's, Frieda's or someone else.
Or AT jumps and gives CT a high five and they kill everyone together. Happy endings are the best
Kek, that would be fun. I'm sure Zeke will survive because >>139739807, but I can't see EMA or Jean dying yet. There will be a twist that gives the protagonists an opening to escape.
>deleted post are all about Erwin
Ymir is back in the capital right now, scissoring with Historia, and by that I mean putting her huge African penis inside her.
Hetfag homophobes status = cucked [X].
Levi's going to attack MT, everyone else is rushing in to distract him and using the flares to conceal their exact positions a little bit so they don't get direct hits from the rocks
If you had the thread on auto update you'd see it's just some random Erwinfag. Maybe he shitposts so much out of chapter releases that the mods ban him on sight now.
>Levi: Forget your dreams and go to hell - take the new recruits with you.
I’ll take care of the Beast Titan.
So, only 104th is going to survive, isn't it?
>So, only 104th is going to survive, isn't it?
You must be deluded if you think any of them would die.
Of course all the redshirt male trash is going to die in the meat grinder.
You guys are cool, don't go to Shinganshina tomorrow.
They need to be properly scanned
I wish anon, but I can see someone else dealing with Annie and Isayama setting up BR to save them being a red herring. But I can say for sure that if Bert dies it won't be random. Isayama said the CT is important after all.
Why is so hard to understand? >>139743768
Also, RIP Moblit.
It was a deathflag, but a small one. I still can't see him dying without talking to Bert at least once again, unless Isayama deals with it through internal monologues. Either way both of BR have lots of deathflags piled up.
Perfect picture but it should be Mikasa in this position about to sexé the Jean, since she's the one who's in love with him.
Happy birthday best Shingeki!! Funny how he has the birthday on the same day as Audrey from Huniepop!
>Moblit is kill
>Erwin is soon kill
Erwin is not kill you dumb fucking retard.
Levi will save him as he's about to die with the Titan syringe, forcefully injecting him.
Erwin will become THE STRONGEST TITAN ever and he will regenerate all his wounds!!
I want to believe but is too fabulous and this is not JoJo. Manlet and Erwin dying in battle is better. Also, one of them must die so the other turns into titan and then shifter.
You forgot that even fucking Eren somehow managed to fight off titans when he transformed for the first time at the beginning of the manga.
And Reiner could have listened to Bert's words unconsciously anyway.
The first time he and Historia held hands and then... (you know what)
>tfw she appears to EMASCJ carrying half of Moblit's body.
>Hanji: "He needs help!"
>Armin: "Squad Leader... Moblit is...!"
>Hanji: "Eh?" She realises he is dead.
>"Hey, Moblit, don't do that. Are you splitting?t! That's not how you rejects a lady!
>She punch Moblit's body. "Sorry guys. Let's... let's go and let him rest a little."
I want to imagine Hanji was a good senpai to Moblit. I love them both so much.
Manlet's going to survive. If you noticed this whole chapter was basically Erwin's eulogy.
He's always been Hitler.
Trolling the fujos. I love this guy
It wasn't a bad moment. Manlet was agreeing to the plan and telling Erwin to buck up and Erwin understood. They're both committed to the plan now.
You know they will. They can twist anything, even a bro moment as no homo as this one.
I don't think anons are being serious about being a bad moment. Is just not cheesy, Manlet's harsh words are just a way to say "ok, let's die fighting together", while his first option was having Erwin safe with Eren in the walls, and him in suicide mode distracting MT. As for the hell thing, he sees himself as a monster, so he pretty much is heading to the same place in the afterlife. And Erwin giving up his dream, make it clear there is no other way.
They've known each other for a long time, so Erwin would understand that Levi expresses himself in weird ways sometimes. Sadly their friendship development seems to be over now.... rip
I always thought Erwin would get the serum, eat one of BR, then go out holding off MT. Not beating of course, because MT is too important. But that would be the most epic battle to happen on a whild, finally use that fucking serum, have a big character go off on a cool note, and keep another permanent shifter from joining their ranks, which I always thought would be overkill.
The only other shifter I will accept the SL having on their side is an Annie who finally got her shit together. I figured they showed her having the hardest time with the shifter village plan for a reason.
The fight would be amazing but I actually don't think either Zeke or Levi will be dying this time.
I think MT will catch Levi in his hand, and titanmir will jump up out of nowhere and catch him in her mouth like she did with Historia. I mean she has to show up eventually, she's the key part of the story. And I have a really good feeling BR let her go before Zeke met up with them just because she saved Bert, like an honor code.
It would be pretty funny to see manlet covered in titan saliva too. He would be completely disgusted.
I think Zeke is dying. Because he was made to die instead of other characters. So, Reiner or Bert would be the ones making a big intro to the truth. But the big delivery would come from Annie once she realises her leader and comrades are gone.
He is a new character made with a very specific purpose. He is too strong to be captured alive or to give information so easily. He was made to die, and to ease the delivery from BRA, or one of them.
Isayama sucks at perspective but it makes for some funny scenes. Plus Bert always invades Reiner's personal space.
I'm not even an Erwinfag. I just want a cool fight and for that serum to be used. It's high time that Erwin kicked the bucket and one of BR ate it and I want it to be epic. And like I said, I don't want another of the SL becoming a shifter. If Erwin uses it and dies, then it's done.
>It would be pretty funny to see manlet covered in titan saliva too. He would be completely disgusted.
Levi covered in Ymir titan juices...
I don't know if I want to see that.
If anyting Ymir is either in BRA village as prisoner wh owaits to be eaten by some warrior when Zeke will return to decide her fate, or BR let her go.
But to be fair I can't see a reason for them to let her go, of course she could play it up that she will be on their side from now and eating marcel was after all an unfortunate accident and as long it goes Zeke gets another shifter in his army and Ymir is training in the BRA village in the meantime, but for that to happen BR would have to back her up.
I think you forgot how humans looked like before.
Looks like they released the rest of the original draft. Reiner dies instead of Thomas.
Isayama said he expanded him, so probably that's what he meant. Maybe there was no Armored Titan in the original draft at all.
Nevermind, I found it.
Zeke confirmed for Mikasa's real dad
I could see Isayama doing something comedic like that after such a grimdark situation, especially after Erwin's death if he dies.
She also begged Historia to help her because she wanted to live.
No, more like, I'm glad Reiner is still alive and is still relevant to the story.
Also, I'm guessing this is why Thomas was drawn similarly to Reiner and is often mistaken for him in the early chapters.
>But to be fair I can't see a reason for them to let her go
They are loyalists whose loyalty lies with Ymir's royal family thus they want to preserve the last one of their bloodline.
Manlet can't stand a fight against MT, that's why he is sneaking with the help of all those redshirts. Only opportunity is to catch him distracted. And even so, he surviving is just objectively impossible.
Not sure but it looks like it's included in the hardcover edition.
Bert is probably still the colossal titan. The first chapter only showed CT attacking the walls, then graduation and then Trost. There was no AT around. Bert and Annie were sitting together at dinner like in the manga.
Here's the first chapter:
It's the chicken scratch smile, he actually looks more sad than the early manga.
Well might as well start gathering my supplies. He will be at peace with his pops and
Mike. Hope Isayama gives him ato least a good death.
>it will never happen
Sasha didn't have a ponytail in the original.
How Armin and the rest will fight against Bert and Reiner? Erwin and the soldiers are sacrificing their lives but if Bert attack them with rocks from the other side of the wall, the plan will be useless. So next chapter we will probably see a strategy from Armin and some of our sextet will sacrifice his/her live as well. Wonder who will be. This chapter was sad.
>...I've wanted to let my life end so many times, but my father and that dream continues to linger in my heart...
She actually originally looked like that. I prefer Ymir's new character design. I wonder if he just reused the chracter design from the Robotstoria one shot.
Erwinfags still delusional about the fact that Erwin will survive when his plan is to sacrifice himself and the new recruits so they all have a shot at killing MT.
ErwLfags still delusional after Levi basically agrees with his plan and tells him to, "Go to hell along with the new recruits." Even as a motivational speech - even Levi is accepting that Erwin is going to die.
That's what I don't want, I rather have him die on the battlefield than to get the serum go all rage titan 2.0 and then to be taken down by the SL cause sure as shit no one is going to grab BR or Z in human form for him to eat.
>took my enjoyment off from that JeanMika page
I was thinking that too, what a coincidence. There was also one other notorious Mikasa panel, shortly after she explained to Armin she's fine.
Stop man its too early for these feels
He has to be. Even Erwin commented on how he's probably intelligent.
I'm having doubts about him getting eaten now though. At this point I don't see either Erwin or Levi getting the serum.
I would like to see Robotstoria drawn again by Isayama with his current style.
Levi is rude but It's possible he gave Erwin the serum after saying those words, But despite all of this is almost impossible Erwin is going to survive. I have my doubts about Marlo, I have an impression he's kind important.
That Ilse titan spoke too before it turned but if Levi has that serum on him he either has to use it himself when he realizes he can't beat MT or give it to one of the kids maybe Mikasa. But Erwin? No its too obvious at this point.
But if Manlet doesn't go with Erwin, who is going to make him laugh in hell?
This was an emotional chapter?
I like it very much although I don't like Erwin very much, but he was admirable.
Isayama decides to let live a character that doesn't have motivations at all and kills one who only has his dream that kept him alive.
Most Erwinfags here said they think he'll die. They just don't want him to.
I'm fine with him dying as long as it's an interesting death. An epic death is long overdue. Besides, the guy is fucking miserable death is a blessing. I just hope he somehow at least gets to hear what's in the basement.
>implying fujos don't live off tragedy
The most popular pairing for the manga makes no sense. A death both parties have accepted for the greater good will only make the fujos wet.
The serum is with Levi's there's no reason to leave it with Erwin.
Seriously, I'm so fucking sick of Erwin. He's getting long winded and repetitive like EMA about muh dreams and muh basement.
He is a dead man but even if he can survive the bait strategy he won't resist too much with the lesions. At least his desires were so strong that can permit him to arrive close to the basement door, but I doubt he will live to know the true.
