Thanks for the spoilers OP.
>The combination of Osamu's Spider and Yuma's attack leaves them on top, but...
>Starting right off the bat in night-time ROUND 5 is the confrontation between the aces of Tamakoma-2 and Katori Squad.
>In the first encounter, Tamakoma's new battle techniques leave Katori Squad with some damage!
>Agent Kuga chases after Katori Squad who attempt to escape from the area of wires!
>Wakamura tries to deal with the attacking Yuma with gunfire. But his irregular movements with the wire makes it difficult for him to get any hits.
>Damn it, I can't read his movements!
>It'd be better if we try to run instead of fighting them!
>The combination of Kuga and Spider is a lot better than I thought.
>Grasshopper's one thing, but for a light guy like him, he can move pretty quickly in air-borne fights.
>They may not have used it last time and probably only learned how to use it in these past few days, but in the areas where wires are set up, catching Kuga is considerably difficult.
>Tomoe looks on at the battle from atop a high building.
>Tamakoma seems to be using Spider. They're also chasing Katori Squad and Miura-senpai doesn't seem to have his left hand.
>Who do we aim for, Captain?
>We're aiming for Katori Squad.
>There isn't much data on Tamakoma's fighting style, so we'll aim for the injured Katori Squad first.
Too much text. Someone's definitely gotta finish up for me this time.
It would be nice to see Chika shooting non lead bullet Ibis against Kakizaki unit, since they are going to hole themselves tight after Katori unit goes, but probably Osamu will work a plan or just Chika will use lead bullets from far away since they only have mid range shooters. A twist with Katori trumping by herself Kakizaki's unit teamwork would be pretty good, though
Ass ton of words.
Girigiri Rape Time
I should probably mention that I don't do early spoilers because most of the time they're fake.
Also this Chinese WT fan has been ghetto translating my translations into Chinese and typesetting them. It's hilarious because he's absolute shit at it. How the tables have turned.
>Spoilers come out in Japanese
>Get translated into English
>Get translated into Chinese
Also, thanks for the trans. Shouldn't be too long for Korean scans to come out.
>mfw tamakoma 2 show no mercy

Poor boy page. What a sad relationship chart
I've considered making the interview the last thing I do for BnHA but after considering it I decided to do the v8 omake too. Currently working on it but it's going to take a while. Somebody else might do it anyways since the series is getting popular.
Here's the interview if you haven't seen it. I dumped it last time in a BnHA thread.
Still even if Nino is 1st shooter many still comparing to Izumi here is Izumi stat
This is offtopic, so I spoilered it again, but thanks for your work on WT and BnHA. Trust me even if many people don't know how to write a simple thank you a lot anons depend on you and your work.
Is Gunner and Shooter considered as different position? I remember when Usami explained border trigger it is said that shooter is shooting without gun but basically using what classified as gunner trigger.
So Nino is first shooter and gunner, or someone else is?
I never did this for the attention anyways. I'm mainly just doing this to improve my Japanese and Korean and to get some series the attention they deserve. That's not to say your gratitude isn't appreciated though. That's always a bonus for me.
I like how known shooters have their own trademark/style of using their triggers: izumi with 2 big cubes in his hands, nasu with small cubes surrounding her, nino with the cube's divided into triangle shapes and kako with her sphere-shaped blobs. I hope osamu learns how to efficiently use those firefly-like shooter technique he used against kazama. But i guess that could be impossible and just settle with the eetsy-beetsy cube he's got
Of course, if it's for attention you makes your own post in tumblr or anywhere but here.
not that anon, but you did really good man. It is not that long ago we need so long for a WT update. We are never that popular after all. Thanks a lot
Seems like an easy win for Tamakoma 2. Katori Squad IA bogged down by bickering and lack of authority while Kakizaki Squad seems way too hesitant. They keep waiting things out or drawing away. While I get these are more or less "smart" moves, I feel like their reluctance to go after points aggressively is going to hurt them in the end.
Thanks for the TL, anon.
I've read chippokenabokura's BBF translations and there are two things that bother me:
How do gunners switch from one gunner trigger to another(eg. Asteroid gun-->hound gun)? Do they turn one off and then "create" the other or is it just like changing magazines(no need to recreate the other gun)?
And also about fuyushima. Aside from creating traps, one of the foremost things we know about him is his ability to teleport agents from one place to another. But it doesn't seem like he has the trigger that points to that ability of his. Is it perhaps one of the functions of switchbox, since it has been stated that it has a variety of uses?
Guns can have up to two types of bullet assigned to them.
Yeah, it looks like you change bullets via switch
That and it must be a natural follow up to enemies learning about wire zones. The Psychological pressure of possible getting stuck in one of these zones is going to cause the enemies to entrench themselves more defensively. But the destruction of the cannon is going to force them into T-2's offensive line
The free trigger slot is changed and used depending of the situation and battle. That's why Reiji wore a sniper rifle against Galopoula, despite not having one
He does tho. During Galo's invasion he set up some traps that would do damage, but Gatlin didn't fall for it so he changed them.
Typical Ashihara hiding the cool stuff from us. At least we got to see Full Arms I guess.
They can try. In principle it could work, but there are lots of countermeasures.
Tachikawa or other skilled Kogetsu users could just spam senku to cut the invisible wires, while skilled Shooters with Viper or Hound could guid bullets into the wire area without exposing themselves to Chika's fire. Good snipers don't need to go anywhere the wires at all.
Really, they need Chika to grow some balls and start murdering people. If Chika practises enough she could become a threat that forces people into enclosed areas where Osamu has set up his wires. Then again, if Chika practises with he side-effect she could just shoot everyone through walls.
I wasn't expecting Chika on using Ibis in this battle.
>Opponent has wire traps you can't see
>The longer you wait the more chances you're giving them to make even more wires you can't see
>Opponent also has a canon firing at you, damaging the area and it harder to hide.
Seems like like a good plan but it depends on how long can Chiki keep on firing a blast like that without becoming a target herself and just how many areas can Osamu wire to where the teams are so paranoid about which areas do and don't have wires they hesitate with every they make. They need another pressure method, if only they had another attacker or somebody shooting bombs everywhere like that fat guy in the last battle.
For higher rank teams they need more than one team-member that can score points.Spider is nice and all, but it kind of misses the point
>Osamu: My team is being held back by the fact that only one of us can score points. I need to learn how to fight for myself rather than just helping out ace
>Kitora: Dude what if you just help your ace lmao
Well, that's what Hyuse is for. In this battle they have all they need. Just wait in the wire zone since the only guys that can get close to you without the radar firing up are practically inoffensive/useless, and your enemies have zero long range
She can't become a target because she is hidden within Osamu's spider traps and they would also have to get through Yuma
The only way to take out Chika would be to have another sniper or to take out Yuma
Osamu can fight pretty well when enemy are in his spider areas. Osamu doesn't have the skill to be full aggressive, but if he fights enemies in his debuff zones he can perform much better.
Okay, but so he's yet another offensive battler but what I wonder what Osamu's other ideas are. I can imagine after this battle, other teams facing will come at them very aggressively so they won't give them the chance to set up wires and it's possible they could select a flat area with little to no buildings for snipers or wire traps.
Reminds me of fighting a team in Splatoon that has two snipers, a roller and one of those assholes who has the high damaging one hit kill splatters with decent range in that mall area.
Huh, never thought about it that way. Even if the cannon blast exposes her, there's no way to get to her without running into the possibility of being caught in the traps and knowing how Yuma and Osamu are, the other teams wouldn't dare think that she's firing in areas that aren't wired up. Interesting, especially good for bluffs and guessing.
>Listen up Yoko!
>Don't act alone by yourself again!
>What do you mean act alone by myself...
>We didn't lose so it's fine
>The reason you're not injured is because Yuta and I guarded them from you!
>I didn't ask you to do that
>The reason you protect me is because you can't win without me right?
>Can you stop acting like you expect me to thank you for saving me?
I seriously hope Wakamura punches her in the mouth after the match
No and Jin has fujin, that could also be very powerful if the slashes can also travel throught the wires.
I still can´t believe Viza stats, seriously Yuma didn´t get enough credit for defeating that guy, it´s no wonder that Hyerin was surprised when the old man lost.
This chick is getting on my nerves. But I feel more bad for the operator having to listen to this shit. It's being on an MMO team and listening to your tank and healer bitch at each other over who caused us to lose to the raid boss.
Korean scans slow as fuck. At least I can use these to start organizing some of the text.
Holy shit, Yuma! He's super mobile with the wires.
>The 3 of you
>Listen and act on my commands
After reading this, I'm wondering how much of Katori's success is due to Hana doing the heavy lifting for strategy and tactics for the unit. From what else we've seen, Katori doesn't seem to make making many decisions, and from the ones she has made, if Katori was the one regularly making decisions, they'd be screwed.
We see Kuruma do it in the Rank Wars T2 had against them and Nasu too
This tactic is only really working because neither Katori or Kakizaki squad have a sniper to take out Chika so she can just blow shit up with impunity.
Anybody tries to come close to get her would get chopped up by Kuga.
No Korean scans. Time to commence ghetto translations.
>Leaving it to you now, if you please
>Their next move on how they will attack
>Will decide the flow of the battle
>What do you feel about the wires after using them in actual combat?
>Pretty hard to strike accurately at moving targets
>But it definitely won't lose in terms of mobility
>Then I'll continue to spread more wires
>They obviously can't just leave them alone like that
>>A shot that penetrates the battlefield!! The unstoppable Tamakoma Second!!
>Have to fight a sniper that just vanishes when you finally got him
>Or fight the top attackers
That's no choice.
I'll avoid the fricking sniper and go for the attackers. At least i die in glory
>They've activated their defenses!
Ashihara keeps using guard but I'm going to change it because it really doesn't fit when translated into English.
>The reason you're not injured is because
This part is partly off screen.
>Yuta and I protected you from them!
>I didn't ask you to do that
That doesn't mean it's a bad tactic, or useless against higher level teams. It just means it's a tactic that won't work if the enemy also has snipers, or other long ranged attacks. Against Kazama and Kako's units for example, it'd basically become a contest of "let's try and get our gunners/shooters into range of Chika to stop this".
They'd probably find Yuma, Osamu, and the wires less daunting than Katori's squad does, but they'd still be forced into the areas that Tamakoma-2 wanted to fight in.
>Now we fight back!
>We're caught between them
>We need to retreat first!
>I'm going to slice into them!
>What are you talking about you idiot. You'll be targeted by their concentrated firepower and be defeated!
>Then what do we do?!
>We can't win if we keep going on trading shots with them
>Kakizaki Unit's Agent Tomoe has caused the enemy unit's formation to crumble!
>However Katori Unit has anticipated this
>They are firing back!
Okay yeah this is the last one. The only other image I found is a picture of Jotaro and the Viza image I posted along with the pastebin. Seems like our Japanese friends have been in this thread as well.
So Mira sends some rabbit to handle the snipers. Toma said 'but you are not the only one who can't move around like that' and calls upon his captain
Smash Borders reached 4 million downloads. Everyone gets a free 5 Star BT Yuma
Neat shot of Hound that Kakizaki squad member did.
Two pages later we see his face for the first time. He is first mentioned by Jin during BT retrieval arc, and Toma answered that his captain is sea sick cause of the away mission ship
Nah, there are way too many flags for Katori's unit losing, for them to do well. It's not like them getting a lot of focus signifies a win. Natsu's squad got a lot of focus, and it fared poorly.
They've got a few weeks left before Akane leaves them. If they need a new sniper, they could probably snag Izuho once she hits B-rank. Especially now that Toma's taken an interest in Izuho's development.
I've never even held a gun but I did watch a lot of mythbusters and both are trained marksmen, when they were testing gun myths they made it very clear that dual wielding, while cool, will shit your aim pretty bad. The same goes for the thug grip and crisscross style.
that's interesting, since some gun have something like a dual wield space. You know, the holder in the midlle. The name of the documentary is mythbuster ? Going to look it up.
>no torso, one eye, and a limbs. Life threatening? Or prosthetics?
Although border may be able to put his physical body in some sort of stasis so that he won't rot away inside the ring. We don't exactly know how good Border's medical knowledge is.
come to think of it, it's neat how Ashihara delivers Yuuma's impending death. Many shonen has this cliche of MC going to die soon but this one is actually logically cold. I like it.
>We will not see a neechan butt slapping Yutaro again
Why Ashihara why?
Shit scan but better than the previous cam shot of the page.
Why did Toei makes nothughes watching Hyuse left just like that???
>What Border agents were recruited from outside the county? [Many]
>A: Suzunari First's Murakami, Taichi, Kon, Tachikawa Unit's Kunichika, Ikoma Unit's agents etc.
As in they are not native of Mikado city or what?
true that. I mean it's the last episode, so they need to make it clearer perhaps?
But I dislike how they make the current invasion not menacing enough, what is with no line of Tachikawa cut in half?
this anon posted one clear image then gone
>anon you leaded me
Hyuse is out hunting for scans.
>he looks good as A1
Konami is one of the most popular girls that doesn't give a shit about looks
It would be hilarious if they do end up together considering most of the girls after him only care about his looks
Mysterious scans pop up like that all the time. They'll come out eventually.
>shield forming around the guns
Nice to see other people besides Inukai doing it.
Now that I see this again, there are no cracks or blood behind the eye´s hole, so maybe the injury isn´t as bad as the others. They should tell Border and see if there is a way to save him, even if he ends becoming weaker as a result.
ICE COLD MOTHERFUCKER
Mikumo is the spider's spinnerette, Yuma is the spider's fangs, and Chika is the spider's bulldozer that destroys the surrounding ecosystem so that there's nowhere else to go.
Kakizaki squad seems pretty competent. Shame they've fallen into Osamu's trap.
>Hmm, let's target the squad that's already been badly injured
You fools! His plans rely on your logic! The only way to beat Osamu is to be batshit crazy.
Nah, it will be a spider with replica being the abdomen (mouth, eyes and weird ears are included in the design)
Kakizaki squad playing it safe is useful in a real battle but in Rank Wars they'll never move forward into upper ranks of B-class or get into the A-class.
>a glasses wearing rice cooker with a single sweat drop balanced on eight spindly legs with a cannon duct taped to the back of it and sitting in the middle of a web
It'll strike fear into the hearts of all who look upon it, no matter if it's Border or Neighbor.
Yeah, this was the sense I got from them too. They seem like they're a very competent squad with a capable leader but from what I've seen so far, they don't have that aggressive edge they need to really chase after points and break into the upper ranks.
Their fighting style could be very interesting though.
And i like how laid back they interact with each other outside of Battles as far as we have seen.
But Kakizaki should man up a bit and learn to risk.
It's just that when this match i over, I'm pretty excited to see how Katori and Wakamura develop and interact with other Border agents. On the other hand I'll probably forget Kakizaki squad exists
Survival points are 2 for surviving
so if yuma is the only one to survive let's say T2 would still get 2 pts for survival
if Osamu,Yuma and Chika all survived they would still get 2 points
Survival is just a flat two points for the last team standing.
Admittedly, it's a bit confusing as every match that T2 won they ended up with two members. (Yuma, Chika in first match, Osamu, Yuma in second, Yuma, Chika in third)
Assuming Hyuse will join T2, a horned, glasses-wearing, lead-bullet-colored-spider sitting on a web. Lol
Lead bullet color: chika
On the contrary, i do think that they will consider replica in the creation of their emblem since he's the one that inspired osamu to create the squad and he's also one of their goals.
>Q: Are there any branches besides Tamakoma and Suzunari?
>A: There are 6 branches: Tamakoma, Suzunari, Wataayu, Yumite District, Hayanuma, and Hisama. Its personnel are mostly those who prioritise work or school and don’t aim for A-class (they do not participate in the twice a week Rank Battles). The branches are placed on the outer edge of the Danger Zone. Other than Tamakoma, the branches function as a point of contact for local residents.
Does that mean there's a lot of other combat agents out there, it's just they aren't ranked and don't compete?
Ishuhui got C&D letters and they had to drop WT which is why the scans for last week's chapter
Oooh, so that's why raws have been late these past few weeks.
But even so, i'm glad people still continue to translate and typeset even though times have been very rough. I'm thankful for that.
1. what weapons will hyuse use on the team. He can't obviously use his trigger, I'm thinking he will be a gunner but then again I'm not sure.
2.what emblem will they have? I don't even know Tamakoma 1 emblem. But i doubt theirs will be. Something cool. I mean just look at the outfits they chose, they're so plain and generic looking that I wouldn't be surprised if they got something like a capybara as the emblem.
4. Will they ever get their own operator? I mean the one they have now is great and all but I feel like she really belongs to tama1. Plus wasn't it said that a operator can't handle more then 4? So if both teams went on a trip one would be left without a operator
In the Black Trigger Retrieval Arc, Miwa's operator commanded Kazama, Miwa, and Tachikawa's units. Plus, Reiji is basically their strategist. Shiori is basically going to stick with T-2, since T-1 doesn't do rank wars and tactics in away missions don't need to be given by your regular operator. That's what being a pro is about.
This battle feels different than the ones up till now. The stage isn't as dramatic and the fighting has been more restrained. Although I have a feeling that this is more like what a typical B-rank war looks like compared to what we've seen so far.
Odds are Hyuse will be an all-rounder. Gunner doesn't seem particularly likely. Hyuse is unlikely to be familar with shooting a rifle or handguns, and restricting him to them would be a waste of his talent. Shooter would overlap too much with Osamu's role. We've seen Hyuuse use scorpion with a fair degree of proficiency, but I don' really see him being restricted to close range, and that would kind of overlap him with Yuma a bit too much. All-rounder is much more fitting, giving him something closer to the mid-range/close range abilities he has with his Afto trigger. He'll probably also use chameleon as well, given that he used a similar ability while fighting Jin.
What do you guys think will happen to Katori squad after this? I don't think Katori has the disposition at all to be captain. She has no leadership skills or strategical abilities and is quite selfish. Either Wakamura will take over and allow her less responsibility for the group or they disband completely.
1. I know it might step on Osamu's role a bit but I can totally see him as a Shooter. That said, I think he's more likely to fill in as an All-Rounder or even Gunner to cover spots on the team.
3. I think at this point Shiori is pretty much invested in Tamakoma-2 and is going to be their full-time operator. Tamakoma-1 doesn't do Rank Wars anyway.
The operator will take over as captain. She was the one who directed them to run into the open to lure Kakizaki into being attacked by Osamu and Yuma, and she seems to be the only one who doesn't get caught up in the team's stupid arguments
Or, yeah, they might disband.
I see them disbanding, yeah. It'd be a good chance for Ashihara to show a team dissolving. We don't really see much of that directly.
If they decide to keep going however: Katori is straight up just a shitty leader. She needs to step down and ditch her attitude. That shit is just not conducive to a team's functionality whether she's in a leader role or not. She's not going to be welcome on any other team either, that's for sure. She may be talented but none of the mid/high ranking teams would want someone like her.
Gunner is too restrictive. He'll probably be a shooter
Lamprys is a super-versatile trigger that allows Hyuse to individually control thousands of little bullets floating through the air. He can attack from any direction or move them construct people much anything he wants. Gun triggers let you shoot bullets in one direction.
>Shooter would overlap too much with Osamu's role.
Osamu has never been strong enough to be a proper shooter. He's always been a strange type of All-Rounder, focusing on defending himself with Raygust and annoying enemies with Asteroid rather than going for kills. Now he's started using Spider, he's very much a dedicated territory control guy.
Hyuse has godlike Trion (18). Izumi has 12 while Ninomiya has 14, so Hyuse would have the most raw power out of any agent in Border (apart from Chika). Combined with his skill at using his trion he'd make a perfect aggressive Ace shooter.
I guess he could be All-Rounder, but he's never shown mobility worth talking about. With Lamprys he just stood still and attacked from a distance.
Somewhat unrelated but are Hyuse's stats taking Lampyris into account? Obviously his Trion rating is high no matter what but how much of that 24 Defense/Support is from his versatile Trigger?
I think so. BBF stats seem to take the user's normal trigger load-out into account. It's also the only way it makes sense. 24 Support/Defence is absolutely insane. How would be possibly manage that when using, let's say, Asteroid?
Fucking Jin has a mere 15 Support/Defence (18 with Fujin) and he's the guy who could dodge the combined fire of all of Border's top teams at once.
I guess the question is, how does that affect Border triggers? What does high quality Trion even mean/
It'll probably just equate to very fine control over the trigger's functions. Very accurate Viper trajectories, fast and complex Scorpion shaping, etc.
When they said quality they meant Afto's base Trigger power. Because people with high Trion are somewhat common in Afto thanks to horns, they can afford making insanely powerful Triggers that use up too much Trion. Their Triggers are basically a stronger version of T-1's prototypes, except they don't run out of Trion after 5 minutes.
Another thing to mention is people with horns specifically get them to become soldiers (not everyone gets them) and they are planted at birth, meaning Afto's horned elites are trained from a very young age.
A scan is just a scan. Redrawers and cleaners make scans not look like garbage.
That anon pointed out "raws" because those scans are in Korean, not Japanese. They've been translated and thus are not raw.
Mobile and my country blocked pastebin boo. Another anons please dumping. I can only dump page
Basically yes. Trion bodies are strong but if you bury them under enough rubble they can't get out (unless their Trigger can destroy objects).
That said Yuma's Trion body does take damage from cars and what not, although minimal.
Dat fucking Osamu.
I just love how he... enjoys himself during this game.
He already shot like 2x what he normally shoots.
He entrapped everyone in his web and keikaku.
He almost controls this whole game.
Now this is what I've been waiting for.
Yuma's body is slightly weaker than a normal Trion body because in exchange it can heal itself.
In the Q&A Ashihara mentions that a regular Border Trion body wouldn't have gotten damaged.
The only reason they're doing so well is because the other teams are either fragmented by in fighting and playing it safe without any risk. It's victory, but I wouldn't really be satisfied with it unless all teams were at the top of their game.
Sorry for taking so long. I had to fix up translations as well as fix some of the dialog boxes due to their shitty typesetting. Their watermark even obscured some of their text.
Not people. Person. There's only me now.
That's right,if they want to fight, they've no choice but to take their battle within Taka2's wire range. I like how both teams just thought Chiki would only be firing lead bullets. It's like they forgot about her cannon.
How effective would her Lead Lightning be against a team that actually has a Sniper?
If she takes too long on the set up she could end up getting counter sniped before she can take a shot.
Now Chika has free reign to lead bullet them into oblivion and Yuma/Osamu are blocking the way for the attackers. What can you even do against that? If you try to hide Chika just blasts your cover to dust.
The firefight between Kakizaki and Katori units was fun to see.
