I haven't read a LN since 2013, probably. In 2011-2013, I tried reading a few that were translated, though most of them ended up being complete shit. Hakomari and Gekkou ended up being the best of the bunch, though Kamisama no Memochou had pretty art. Not that great of a story though. There's a lot of things that haven't been translated very far or their translations are just completely dead. At least Hakomari is finished.

Also, I personally think the first volume was one of the weaker volumes. I didn't really care for the sixth one either, though I never got around to finishing the last one so I dunno how it ended. The first volume gets better the more times you read it.

Read the first volume a couple days ago because of a thread here and I don't understand why it's rated so highly. It consisted entirely of intentional misleading to create "epic twists" and the story moved forward only through the characters explaining everything. Also terrible prose
