I bet she rode it naked over bumpy roads at least once, just to see how it felt.
Well it's not that hard to be perfect when you're basically self inserting in a fantasy world.
So was Hermes just a talking bike
Or was his voice just a figment of Kino's imagination?
You know, I'd just be happy if someone decided to translate the LNs, that are still being published.
The main translator who did most of the series on B-T quit months ago. There hasn't been much activity since then at all.
It'd be faster to teach yourself Japanese to a Kino-literate standard (the writing in Kino isn't very intense) than to wait for more ESL translations.
Are there any more or less condensed versions or pointers of sorts on how to learn Japanese? I have learned English without any textbooks to a pretty good level, but Japanese seems a little harder, I can't even grasp where to start when I read about it.
Time is irrelevant, really, I just need to find my footing. I am good with languages, although, completely forgot Turkish due to not using it at all.
That'll teach not to overlook generals. Thanks.
Kino is cute! Cute!
Hnnnngh those spats
To be fair, I haven't ready fan-translations, yet. And it's not like I'll be able to compare. But I jump in to defend translators because it's always a no-win situation for them.
You're saying you wouldn't walk her home gently?
If you don't know what you're talking about then shut up. I imagine that it is tough for fan translators, especially when they have only a tenuous grasp on both languages involved, but is it really so hard to find, say, a proof reader?
It's conflicting because on one hand I'm glad for the effort, on the other there's enough sloppiness that it's hard to overlook
I want to be Kino's bike.
Grown ass men finding a short flat high school girl in an anime attractive and scouring the web to find raunchy pics of her. Your parents must be so happy to have you as their son right?
Seriously, Kino is one of the very few good female MCs.
Why can't there be more MCs like Kino in my animu!
Anon has no chance of matching Hermes in terms of banter, the only thing that matters.
>Not even in her own show.
What? Is there some subtext to the show that I and everyone else here missed completely?
Or is that a post-hoc fan theory like
Pokemon is about Ash being in a comaor Yuyushiki's main cast is actually Yui's imaginary friends? If it is then I'd love to hear the rationale behind it.
There was an episode in the anime where they imply that all of kino adventures are because she is in a vr machine, created by her dad, and that they are the only people left on the plantet, but I think this doesnt happen in the LN
How can an anime have less than 10 frames of animation per episode? Watch Kino No Tabi and find out
Oh, the one about the library in the land of books?
I personally interpreted that episode as the novel's author (or the show's screenwriters, if it was an anime-original episode) having fun with a metanarrative / cameo appearance about his own experiences writing fictional stories. With the library chief representing his publisher, the board of censorship being his editors, and the secret society as his readers and so on.
Again, I could have missed some of it, so I'll be sure to watch that one again.
Effectively no. Someone said they would do translations a few months back, but didn't deliver. Some random chinese site translated one chapter and a random person on youtube translated another rather recently (which is why BT says it's still active), but they were both one-offs. No one's currently dedicated to translating it.
Ep9, short segment right after the eyecatch.
Okay, I rewatched the episode.
Up until now, I had assumed that part was the other way around: the manuscript next to Kino's bed contained the story of the last girl on Earth and the author's nip magic bullshit (that the resistance movement talked about earlier in the episode) made her self-insert into the story so thoroughly enough that she doubted reality*. And the tank appearing again at the end of the episode was also the result of the author's dream-inducing magic.
*"reality" being the scope that the other episodes of the show depict as being reality
Now I'm a lot less certain about everything.
Will we ever get more Kino animated? I want to see Land of Heroes dammit
The Kino is not sexual.
Therefore she is.
Don't ever fucking reply to me again unless you're contributing to this thread.
>Have a girl live as a man.
>Call her perfect.
The Upper-World in Texhnolyze seemed like a place that would exist in Kino's universe.
No, let's post more lewdkino's instead.
There's so little lewd art of her makes me sad.
Scans never. Although, I recently got a doujin by the artist who drew >>139712391 that has a few pages of ecchi/lewd Kino. Don't have a scanner unfortunately, but I could upload cellphone pictures of those pages in a bit.
Think there's a higher quality version of this page on the artist's pixiv.
Final Kino page, spoilered for actual lewd.
Don't think I've ever seen those online anywhere. Thanks.
