Fuck yes, I'm gonna get a not guilty AND a show during the trial.
Looks kind of wimpy. I would rather have this mister here represent me.
Yeah, and he actually worked to undermine his client. And it's presented as a good thing, with him getting a bad ending and dropping out of his job if you get an innocent verdict for him.
Maybe it's because I'm a lawyer, but I really disliked his attitude in that case.
I did not play the game, why did not the client just ask for a new lawyer?in the first ep what inaccuracy annoyed you the most, cross examination, the judge arresting the witness, prosecutor losing his shit?
>why did not the client just ask for a new lawyer?
"Defend me or the jailbait dies"
This got me thinking
Is there any good lawyer anime?
Near the end of that case after you find out de Killer has it out for Engarde you can choose to maintain his innocence and get a funny scene. But before that you're right, if you try to actually defend your client you'll get a game over.
I wish for once the series would have a villain whose personality didn't do a complete 180 once they're revealed. It would make those kinds of decisions have a lot more tension.
what do you mean? if you mean accurate than no. like with most shows they just fill it up with Romanticism and obscure/inaccurate facts like shows about bartenders, fishing, etc.
>But before that you're right, if you try to actually defend your client you'll get a game over.
You get a game over where he is declared innocent and Phoenix still never sees May again.
Good luck trying to talk to him, the japanese police can put you in isolation up to 23 days without you having the right to talk to a lawyer. In the meantime, they """"interrogate"""" the shit out of you.
Phoenix is well known for solving near impossible cases that other attorneys would not do because they see it as they can't win and with his record at that point Phoenix is pretty skilled despite it only being his second year
>beats the genius district prosecutor
>beats a legendary prosecutor who never lost in 40 years
>Successfully defended two celebrities
>Successfully defended the chief prosecutor and took down the chief of police
I mean with a record like that I'd kidnap Maya just to get him to defend me
>What would you do then?
Get the hired killer who did the kidnapping to make sure anyone who would accuse me of said kidnapping will keep their mouth shut.
Play the fucking game.
Show was really fucked up. Funimation really did a bad job adapting the game to the show. The case was nothing like the first one in the game at all. People were shooting ki bombs and shit at each other, i mean wtf? Really fucked it up.
Great, I hope he gets a not-guilty verdict.
Do you think they'll do the backgrounds slightly bad on purpose to pay homage to AA's backgrounds
I'm talking about the backgrounds in 1-3 where the ground looks like it was taken to MSPaint and someone used the spray tool
>Anime-only's face when they see this man for the first time
It will be glorious
From the other post
- The voice acting looks good (even with the Kaji factor. He's not a good Phoenix, but it could've been worse)
- They're using some elements from the game, like sprite poses, the verdict, the confetti, those date-hour panels
- They're staying loyal to the game (c'mon, i was afraid of them creating some filler bulshit cases)
- Not using the OST from the game at all, just some leitmotifs or minor songs
- Animation looks cheap
- That f*cking OP. Srsly, runing on the rain, sunflowers, magic chains, that giant libra scale thing?
is there a sub out with the localization names yet
