I love Mirai so much. She's the cutest girl in the entire world!
Do you want to color together, /pc/oneesan? We're doing another coloring project in /ai/ and some people in both threads seemed interested in a joint coloring project. No anti-fun rules, claim a square and have fun with it. Physical coloring is prefered, but digital coloring is fine as long as you put time and effort into it and you wouldn't be able to participate otherwise. A zip with all the squares can be found here: https://mega.nz/#!f8ZQBQzC!UWFDx1nrAF1XVnPgitbG2XVg56fyQlpXLQTdm6a1fZU
Some scholars hypothesize that such a thing could create an entire spectrum of new shit posting. Others believe that the arrival of Mana that size could profoundly change the way people greentext forever.
Oh what's this? Looks like another one of this lovely cat's friends came over to play. It kind of reminds me of a certain ghostly cat though. But that's impossible. This lovely cat is deathly afraid of ghosts.
>you will never sleep on nagisa's lap pillow
>honoka will never use your lap as pilow
I don't know which one hurts more.
I've been seeing these threads for fucking years and every single time I have to check the spoiler to see if it's anything besides "Precure Thread" and never once has it been anything else. I've fucking had it I hate you all
Houjo Hibiki a 14 year old girl can do 50 meters in 5 seconds 62
Donovan Bailey an olympic sprinter did 100 meter in 9.84 sec
He did 50 meters in 5.56 seconds which is the world record.
She's figuratively as fast as one of the fastest men of all time.
Her 50 meter sprint is fast enough that it's a top 10 all time.
And that's not all.
Aida Mana is an order of a magnitude faster than Hibiki.
And they don't even need steroids for it.
>that 2 second part before it explodes
GoPri had nice closeups, so is Maho's niche different lighting? I really like the color change in scenes like this one and when the clams opened up before the Sapphire transformation. I wouldn't complain if we got more of that kind of style.
Bunbee and Nozomi yea.
Every time I think about how I'll never be a Precure I feel like dying
>Have to spend all day hanging out with a bunch of stereotypes
>Have to put your life on the line to fight evil for no reward
>Have to deal with annoying fairies
>Have to appear in crossovers every year with your face deformed
I'm not sure it'd be worth it, even if you were lucky and just happened to end up in a team with one or two girls that aren't ugly.
I'd rather be a puripara, I bet that'd be fun.
My personality is probably more one-dimensional than most of the cures.
The only thing that sets me apart from them is that if I'm talking to people I roll a dice to determine how I'm going to talk and how I respond.
Found out that way that people are actually more interested in me if I use a dice to fake everything than if I'm my boring self
So you are this guy?
That kind of unconstructive gimmick mean you are more suitable as a general, though.
I think Mana was probably created after the real Dokis died and somebody went back in time to save them with a deus ex machina.
They still managed to fail when Mana lost her heart, but she can simply reboot so all is ok
I don't know that guy.
But thanks to that most people think I'm homo now.
I just assume that if I turn into a 2D little girl my personality also changes to something I can actually like
>So how big of an asskicker is Haruka?
In the few episodes with actual budget she kicks ridicculous amounts of ass. When GoPri fights were good, they were really good. When they were bad, they were really bad.
>How's the final fght?
I like that the actual, final confrontation isn't a fight at all. it was just kind of fitting.
Mana's zettai ryouiki makes me moist
Come on anon, you can do better than this
Obsolutely. It also has - at least in my opinion - the worst stock attacks of all the seasons I've seen. Granted, I've only seen half, but that's still something.
Point is: The fights are beautiful when they're trying and atrocious when they're not.
>Obsolutely. It also has - at least in my opinion - the worst stock attacks of all the seasons I've seen
GoPri does one thing the other seasons don't, they use the stock attacks as normal attacks later on.
Haruharu does awesome stuff like dual wielding using Lys and Rose tourbillion at the same, etc...
Even the less animated fights are more active than usual by the way, I really don't agree with your atrocious opinion
That is disturbingly sexual anon. Why don't you take a seat?
>Stock attacks are cool when used out of stock footage
No shit Sherlock. That's why it's cool. Because they are used in an abnormal way. Besides, he's referring to the awful CG stock footage, you know, the ACTUAL stock footage. When it's used outside of the stock footage it's, well, you know, not stock footage anymore.
>GoPri does one thing the other seasons don't, they use the stock attacks as normal attacks later on.
Bullshit. In nearly every season stock attacks are used out of footage at some point.
What will you say next? That GoPri also is the only Precure with out of stock henshins? C'mon son.
>I really don't agree with your atrocious opinion
It's mostly the CG attacks. Especially the cringy violin ones. I mean those even have a short melody interrupting the actual soundtrack. That's just terrible. Especially if you consider that the same character was playing actual music on an actual violin a few episodes earlier.
The thing is, with every season there are episodes where the fight just boils down to 3-4 token hits, finisher, done. The finishers in GoPri being what they are made those episodes rather grating.
I hope she forgot her panties.
Does anyone else think Cure Miracle looks too white?
Kirara and Towa has their moment too. The one I think getting the short end of stick is Minami.
>Kirara and Towa has their moment too. The one I think getting the short end of stick is Minami.
Kinda. Kirara looked absolutely amazing all over her double focus episodes, though she also got some really cool two-second detailing all over the place. So she got great treatment for sure.
There's a huge gap between Towa's debut and anything she does afterwards, so I guess it kind of depends on whether you could her two fights as Twilight (but we probably shouldn't).
Minamin got her debut, mostly, and nowhere near the detailing that Kirara got. She may not be that far behind Towa, really.
They're so cute together.
It just occurred to me that this problem is actually solvable.
q = q
She's just too cute
I want to lick her tongue
>We can't think of anything new for Precure, do anyone else have an idea?
>Let's take a generic harem battle shounen but we replace the MC with a girl and stretch it out over 50 eps
Oh shoot you're right, my bad.
But besides him and Riko she doesn't, which was why all three of plus Ha-chan were sad to be separated.
No, just acquaintances/colleagues. Not enough for a deep friendship.
They're school kids, you don't need to know each other's deepest darkest secrets to call each other friends.
They attend remedials together, help each other with school work, and they were sad that Mirai was leaving. That's close enough to be called friends.
Not-cure form is kinda tall but hopefully civilian is even younger or at least the same Mirai's and Riko's.
I hope for a very childish personality since she was born not too long ago.
At first Riko probably be the edgelord and shunned all other out. "I need to concentrate on catching up with onee-chan, can't lose time socializing with these losers". They seem to be rather chummy with each other at this point though.
>My family doesn't judge me for watching little girl cartoons because i am a girl
Makes having to live at home for a few months bearable
Don't talk shit about Cure Magical's hair, anon.
>Gyu and Comet-san just got subs for the first time last week
Now for someone to remember Mushiking existed
Look who won the grand prize of the anime awards!
Have you bought any recently pc? I got these two puzzles, origami, some stickers, and the poster box.
All these years and I still don't know how to cross board link.
It's true but you shouldn't say it.
First episode was pretty great.
Figuarts are some overpriced shiet
Decade is an SS release which uses their skeleton system and comes with a lot of stuff.
For real aftermarket issues, look at Cure Diamond.
>There wasn't much competition.
>Hi, Anon. Did the party get too noisy for you, too?
I'm happy and wouldn't suicide with my current life, Precure just makes it all better.
The only thing that dissatisfies me is being unable to marry a little girl or being a little girl myself.
Yes they are
*shapeshifts into this and bites your arm*
1-hour drawing incoming.
Happiness injection! Charging with elation! Today's theme is about the 10th official season of the Precure franchise: HappinesCharge Precure!
Man I don't know where they're going with Maho Precure now. Can't fucking believe they're leaving Hogwarts to go back to boring muggle world. That was like the whole appeal of this season to me was the harry potter shit. Especially since the actual precure stuff is fucking terrible in this season. So much poor animation and incredibly short fights where they barely touch the enemy but once or twice. I hope it seriously straightens up now if they're going to leave the magic world and make up for this.
>So much poor animation and incredibly short fights where they barely touch the enemy but once or twice.
I'm behind on Maho, are the fights really that bad? I thought Doki was the last season that had kind of boring fights, are they worse than that?
Well it kind of seems like it since Mirai has to go back to normie school now. They're not going to let her skip school or anything because Japanese. I'd love to be proven wrong though and they find a way to still make it the main setting.
god I love senmu's art when it isn't guro
Pretty Cure Amazons when?
He/she doesn't draw much Precure guro anyway.
For some reason, the guro art is almost only from Yugioh!
Lovely, pretty, yay! Kawaii~!
Purikyua ippai memory~
Being boring is something to complain about in my book.
I turn up the TV on Sunday, and the first girls' cartoon will have more interesting and better though out dialogues than GoPri had.
I'm sorry, I thought it was clear I was talking about the script. Was that too subtle for you, much like the story of GoPri? You actually need to invest yourself and understand what's happening to enjoy it.
>all you care about GoPri having some nice fight scenes
Not really, it had pretty nice story and a satisfying journey with each girl getting their full conclusions.
It's true that it was more individualistic when it came to each girl problems, but that's because the theme was "dreams" and I think it's better for everyone to have their own dreams instead of the same dream for every girl in order to a more complete story.
>shit when it came to cuteness
I don't know what you watched, I remember Haruka being pretty cute.
Haruka was cute.
But altogether, this was the most bland brigade of girls, and the biggest problem was that the majority of their interaction was the same predictable monologues with smile and then the others agree and smile too. It wasn't lively, surprising or fun maybe aside from one or two occasions.
I certainly don't come watching Precure for this. If I'd have to list a title that had similar vibes, it would be Sailor Moon Crystal. It was SM but without the fun.
Crystal, ignoring the technical issues, felt extremely strange. Having watched the original long ago but forgotten most of it, I could feel that deep behind Sailor Moon there was actually a really solid plot. Each of the main events in the story was good on paper, and the pacing was fine. However, the execution was terrible. The episode scripts made everyone feel like they were just going through the motions, not to mention the worthlessness of the other scouts. Hugest waste of good VA talent all year, that was.
Which is strange to me, because there were real emotions behind every aspect of the series, production included. The girls were perhaps not your average everyday teenagers, but that's because they all went to a high class private school for nurturing their dreams. Middle schoolers who know what they want to do with their lives? You'll find maybe 1% in your average town. But at Noble it was 100%. They feel strange to the average [adult] viewer because they can't connect properly with such ambitious girls. But I'm following my dream, and I felt their struggles were real and have gone through similar myself.
You need to elaborate, because "blandest brigade of girls" is something I find hardly convincing when everyone within the cast got the spotlight, characterization and development. Specially when we have things like Smile in which half of the main cast barely had more than one side and didn't change during the whole season.
GoPri was not focused in the team, that was important but secondary at the end, the important thing were the individuals themselves and their hardships.
The Smile girls were lively, fun, had different kind of interactions and had life like conversations despite being pretty silly.
That's like the opposite of the blandness, which GoPri girls were. It wasn't written poorly, the show was consistent, yet it felt too lifeless, grey, predictable and boring to me.
Life like... I don't know, I never met an entire group of people like the Smiles before. At most there'll always be that one weirdo, but five? I guess I have nothing to base it on, since I had a relatively normal life.
I'll never understand why /pc/ places so much importance on MUH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.
You could give character development to a rock but that's not necessarily going to make it a more interesting character. There's no point in changing from bland haruharu with a dumb dream into bland haruharu with a dumb dream but this time with RESOLVE and more maturity about it or whatever.
>different kind of interactions
I like smile, but the great interactions or characterization is not part of why I like it.
Different kind of interations was one of the thing Smile definitely didn't have.
There was Brian for Akane, Yayoi's dead dad and Nao's family. There was little of importance after that and mostly only within themselves as a group, and not even much of that, remember any conversation between Yayoi and Nao? Or between Akane and Reika? Or between Reika and Yayoi?
Also, I'm pretty sure more about the cure's presonal life was shown in GoPri than in Smile.
Characterization is not character interaction.
GoPri might have excelled in the former, but failed hard in the latter. Smile was ways ahead in that regard, even if it there were stronger titles regarding that too.
When did I said character development was the only thing that mattered or that character development alone made a season good?
I explicitly mentioned characterization one word before.
Not they are not, still, I don't how Smile had good interactions.
Sure, some episodes were very funny, but how can it have good character interactions when you can hardly find interactions within the team?
Y'all might want to consider defining your terms more clearly before you go announcing which seasons had good whatever or not.
Unless you're not actually interested in communicating your opinions to one another (and possibly even understanding the other). But wouldn't that just be shitposting?
This lovely cat isn't one to let other out-feline her! Looks like she's taken Hibki-papa's pink panther and made it into a blue panther outfit. So now it's up to you /pc/? Do you prefer a Pink Panther or a Blue Panther?
I wish it was that easy to get rid of her. Some days she just doesn't show up. She's probably busy. We can enjoy the evening in peace for now. If she doesn't come back in the next few days, then we can start celebrating.
>back to the pleb world
So you are one of those who believe that people can't change, or have no point in changing themself.
Time for purification. Have a nice dream.
I kind of wanting post-apocalyptic precure. Using the pre-war tech to transform into cure
>Pink is a lone survivor of village destroyed by new-world empire who fake idealism to cope with the horror of war
>Blue is cynical shell-shocked veteran who first look down on Pink but gradually start to warm up to her idealism
>Yellow is opportunistic vagabond who aim to steal the transformation device from Pink and Blue and sell it to highest bidder
>Red start as a general of new-world empire and eventually question if the empire's method really benefit mankind
Villains are new-world empire who try to impose the tyranical rule on post-apocalyptic society for greater good. (Think Master/Caesar's legion) The monster of the week are revived pre-war tech/robot. The generals are genetical-engineered human.
The answer is always pic related
>And what is the best end boss fight?
Recently rewatched the Heartcatch finale. It just does everything right and even has some more subtle stuff going on that I missed the first time around. I don't even mind Dune showing up out of nowhere as it really couldn't have worked any other way.
They really go all out with every ship teased in the anime. Even the pedo one.
The romance in the GoGo manga is also through the roof.
Official DokiDoki manga seems like true yuribait
" I've talked a lot about Mana on 4chan, including the possible reference from Jin Yong's "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber", which I'll leave for another post. Time to collect scattered conversations into coherent journals."
What did you mean by this?
So is there a reason they didn't let Urara and Komachi interact at all until the last batch of episodes? For a group of five friends they don't really talk with anyone except Nozomi and someone else. Karen and Rin talk with each other sometimes, but it's mostly Karen-Komachi and Rin-Urara with Nozomi bridging them together.
It was still a good episode though, hopefully there are more like that when GoGo comes along.
Urara focus all her life on accomplish her dream of being a star like her mother and effectively friendless before Nozomi carefreely befriend her. That make her somewhat hero-worship Nozomi and tune her personality and antics to be similar to her ( being glutton, oblivious airhead) despite it is clear that she is a lot more clever and tactful person who can survive and succeed in the showbiz. Her interaction with Rin usually her acting as Nozomi's double rather than a meaningful one-to-one interaction (And when that happened only one time in midseason climax, it was devastedly ackward).
She never interact with Karen and three original fairies deeply either.
The only other two person who has meaningful interaction with her is Komachi and Syrup, both who are very focus in their dream/goal and thus she can sympathise with that one element.
Tl:Dr: Urara was a very goal-orientated person and thus most the time interact only superficially toward other. At least that's how I saw it.
Wait, is that a cherry blossom? Is that Tsubomi's heart flower? I was expecting it to be something different, since the other cures have different flowers for their henshin and heart.
