Megumin best girl once again.
I bet Satella's curse wants him to keep Emilia alive, so he wants to stay with her for reasons other than wanting to fuck her. Doubt he wouldnt be escaping shit either, despair just looks for him cause of his smell.
Why is it always like this? Every fucking thread about any adaptation is always full of retarded fake spoilers and real spoilers mixed in.
Every show that's not anime original is impossible to discuss on /a/. You fags are worse that fucking Animesuki autists. You can be proud.
Ahh, wasnt aware that curse had to do with blue. After the 2nd death i would have probably just gave up on them and tried to do another route. Maybe green loli route?
>Discuss something on /a/
>surprised people try to be master trolls and spoil everything
either ignore threads on /a/ about show or ignore shitposting
is there any translations or good links?
It somewhat makes more sense when all of the witch and cult insanity comes into play. Although they could have fit that into a modern setting by going with an urban fantasy, so whatever.
Why would there be an MC that knows literally nothing then? Also, why would he suddenly just now get
chosen by a Witch?
And please don't say amnesia, that's even more overused than the alternate world gimmick.
The first episode was great.
Why did she give the name of an evil witch rather than some random name though?
There is actually a very sadistic chapter about it.
The first time Subaru sees Rem in coma, he kills himself immediately. He resurrects pretty much right before that point, and this is when he realizes he cannot go back in time to save Rem anymore. Then later on during arc 4, Subaru is shown alternate timeline. He sees the world where he committed suicide above, and although his consciousness reverted to the save point, Emilia of that continuity comes into the room and finds his body. She cries and despairs screaming WHY WHY would you do this to me.
The chapter basically raised the horrible possibility that the timelines he died may have continued on their own afterwards, leaving everyone miserable.
The author is very good at making us feel like shit.
the show is slav's fantasy
>wear track-suit and ascend to a higher plane of existence
>be able to revive endlessly so you can squat for all time
>no end to suffering in order to feel close to Tolstoy
This was actually quite good and enjoyable.
I'm interested how he will survive or overcome his deaths and what kind of situations the author will come up with.
Since it's full of magic, I assumes curses, poison and whatever could be a thing as well.
I prefer Konosuba more
>Drinking vodka erryday
>Bashing other religions
>Beautiful slav girls everywhere
Just like a normal day in original slav's world.
It's a self-loathing terrible taste joke.
Emilia has been discriminated because she's a half-elf that looks exactly like Satella. That's why Puck said her sense of humor is terrible when she gave that name to Subaru.
Imagine alternate world elf coming to our world, befriending a black guy and asks his name and he says "call me Nigga".
Then imagine the said person in a restarted timeline suddenly being called that by an elf he's never met.
The ending was great
What's her problem? There's plenty of space on the right
I expect MC to get trapped into an infinite loop where he cannot escape from unavoidable violent death over and over.
>is there any break to the suffering?
It seems to only get worse as the arcs go, but at least Subaru is getting quite used to the misery by arc 5.
Then the author starts to torment characters other than Subaru.
>wanting to save rem
>wanting to save the person who brutally murdered you multiple times
or was that the twin idk
Why are protagonists in these series always such faggots? I'd feel nothing better than scorn for the person who killed me for no good reason.
-1000 affinity points
Elves are pretty rare, and her clan of elves are
in the mountain frozen in ice from Emilia's own spell gone out of control.
But it's the fact that she's a half-elf that makes her the target of discrimination. Not to mention a half-elf with a silver hair.
Satella the Witch was a half-elf with the silver hair. (and to those who are immortal or long living and remember Satella, even worse as Emilia even has the same face as her)
Rem falls in love with Subaru, and she is the ONLY person who doesn't abandon him after he made an ass of himself. She stays with him and dies for him many times in arc 3, with unconditional love. How about you actually read further before shitting on the best girl.
Nigger I just found out about this series today, I don't even know where to read arc 3 yet. Bitch fucking brutalized him. There's no way to make amends for that unless the offended party is a fucking tool who forgives anything because he's Japanese.
We should see it in the first half of second cour
She's the first to actually, he broke a promise and promise is very important to her. She felt betrayed and decided to put distance between them.
Subaru lost all purpose and nowhere to go, but Rem followed him to support him whatever he decides.
I'm looking for a continuation of the second arc.
The bottom at the end of chapter 11 says that the next issue is volume 2/2016 and out in January.
We're already at issue 4/2016 of March.
How do you make amends for someone killing you in cold blood? Think about it like this, take any good deed she does and add 'and then she kills you in cold blood' afterward, just to see how they measure up against eachother.
>saves your life
>and then kills you
>saves the lives of your immediate and extended family
>and then kills you
>saves the entire world
>and then kills you
What exactly does she do that makes up for this?
>MC's ability is literally savescumming
Humour was pretty solid, too.
That's like the best part, though.
She's a killing machine that loves nothing other than people's guts, you can't call that a girl, faggot.
Remember the wise ol' rule, DONT STICK IN CRAZY. Geez, just because she has a nice body doesn't mean you can call her best grill and stick in her.
She's literally says
AI YOin later novels, just read the spoilers in previous threads or animesuki.
I don't care if she fucks like a goddamn succubus in heat, you NEVER stick your dick in crazy. ESPECIALLY murderous crazy. You do one wrong thing and all of a sudden she's cutting your package off with a rusty spoon and forcefeeding the whole thing to you until you choke to death or die of blood loss.
And while you're bleeding out and fading, she's making eye contact the whole time with that loving look and describing your own death to you with that pretty little voice in exhaustive detail.
And then you wake up because the dream was too good to be true.
Thanks to Konosuba and this anime, I'll wear tracksuit everyday
It's fine as long as the vampire isn't crazy.
doesn't trust him, which is a common motif in this series, the MC is overly trusting of what other people tell him.
42nd in line to the throne and she didn't want him to who she really was, because if she got help or it leaked that she lost that emblem it would've jeopardized her credibility to become the heir.
>You will never die listening to the whispers of Mamiko Noto
Fuck this gay earth
Didnt the thugs kill him in one of the timelines?
The dragon appointed the first king of the kingdom, and when the linage is broken, the dragon rites decides the next king.
The entire royal line abruptly came to an end after series of mysterious deaths.
So the kingdom secretly went to seek out those who were chosen by the dragon crest - the crest stolen in the first arc.
Emilia is one of them, and we will find out in few episodes that the loli thief girl is another.
There are five candidates, all with their own faction and characters, who Subaru will befriend or ally up with from time to time.
What I don't understand is how he easily dies like a bitch to one thug and then holds his own
at least for a little bitagainst Elsa and Rem later on.
Are the powerlevels in this series that weak? Can almost everyone get their life snuffed out that easily if taken off-guard? If so that's kind of neat.
She's a vampire who's more than a few screws loose.
She doesn't drink blood, instead she loves the warmth of fresh intestines.
She can regenerate rapidly, but has a limit on how many "lives" she stocks. Sort of like how Alucard in Hellsing works.
If you kill her enough times her personality will be destroyed, and turns her into some vile creepy wraith-like shadow creature with no reasoning.
Hopefully he kills himself to erase this spaghetti.
He wasn't paying attention when the thug stabbed him in his stomach, while he was on full alert while fighting Rem for the 2nd time. Remember the first time she rekts him hard when he was unaware/debilitated.
It's like that in real life as well, when you let your guard down is usually when you get killed.
So he can solve all his problems if he has the resolve to actually try to kill the people trying to kill him since he can always reset and try again but he chooses not to because plot.
His suffering is his choice.
Well if you can read moon
He doesn't have the gamer mentality of throwing life after life to solve the problem himself.
That said, because of this, he dies very few times per arc. The most he's died in an arc is like what, 6 times?
Her recent switch to sadistic roles has been an enjoyable surprise. She also did that dominatrix teacher from Grimgal.
As someone who used to dislike her voice this has turned for the best
All you need is kill > Re:zero
Yes, each arc in this story is based on MC's new checkpoint. The WN so far has reached arc 6
The MC can't even land a successful blow without killing himself
This woman is a beast.
Kind of nice to see a knife wielder that's not dependent on a broken ass power for a change.
I vaguely recall arc 3 having three save points.
1 before the Whale battle, 1 after the whale and before the Witch Cult, and 1 after the Witch Cult.
So it's not 1 per arc.
Arc 3 was really fucking long
after he accepted her for who she is, and courageously put his hide on the line to save the village children from hellhounds. And in the process he saves Rem when she's in demon mode and out of control, and carries her back. Of course he can afford to throw his own life at the situations but from Rem's POV he's constantly nearly dying trying to save her.
It's pretty easy to say you could kill someone you care about, but I would imagine it would be extremely difficult and emotionally taxing to go through with killing a person, let alone killing someone you care about. Not to mention that in order for him to "reset" he has to die, and dying is a pretty fucking unpleasant thing that your body works it's hardest to try to prevent you from doing both physically and psychologically.
Being a neet doesn't make him a sociopath, he still very much has plenty of empathy.
But he is a neet, he was about to drop out of school, he never worked a day in his life prior to the mansion, and outside of the mandatory education he received while growing up he had no training.
What do you think a neet is oniisan
from his perspective he's known them for 3 weeks, and though he does find out the kindness he was getting from them was fake, he's socially retarded being essentially a hikikomori.
NEET and shut-ins are two different things. You can be both, and often goes together, but they do not mean the same thing.
Subaru is a shut-in. He hasn't dropped out of school yet, although now that he's stuck in alternate world he will have to.
A student cannot quality a NEET, you must be out of school and capable of serving the society yet choose not to.
Neet is Not in Employment, Education, or Training.
Never killed a person, but killed a few pests. It is not that hard but is also not that easy. I feel guilty about ending a life, since I consider life precious. But the act of killing itself is the easiest part, you just blank out and just do it.
I don't know if it's just me, but is a weird sensation.
He mentions he's unemployed though, no clue if he goes to school.
He's a highschooler.
He even says being stuck in the world will cause him to drop out (since he won't have enough school days to qualify graduation if he's stuck in the world)
And to add, if you're incapable of becoming a working class due to age, disability, or other medical condition you're not a NEET either. In Subaru's case the age would be the issue here, as well as him physically trapped in another world.
Technically not. Since he was still enrolled in the school he was not yet a NEET.
However, since he was not going to go again I find it acceptable to call him a NEET even though it's technically wrong.
Just call him a hiki since that is both more correct and doesn't offend autists.
If only MC wasn't such an idiot that whole fiasco could have been avoided. He literally had an entire second chance and he still fucked up.
Well Re:Zero has been a very strange case.
Since its conception in Narou, Kadokawa has been pushing the title despite its low sales and low popularity ratings in Narou.
They kept printing novels, extras, and comic adaptation even back when the title was only in the top 150 of Narou, and novel sales were abysmal.
The sales never really improved much, and suddenly bam we also get an anime adaptation.
Since the anime announcement the title shot up in Narou rankings, and now in the top 30.
Mind you I've always liked this series, but the marketing around it certainly feels like manufactured popularity.
Like "we keep throwing money at it until general public notices it".
Either someone in Kadokawa really has faith in the series, or there's an attempt to force a franchise.
There's definitely something going on behind the scenes that we're not aware of.
None of Re:Zero's sales or rankings justify so much attention given to it by the publisher.
>Mind you I've always liked this series, but the marketing around it certainly feels like manufactured popularity.
Business is that way anyway. That's how things get popular as well. Show yourself to a whole lot of people.
I think Kadokawa had more faith in this than Konosuba. 25 episodes off the bat? That give a whole different impression.
Adding to this: despite is low novel sales, this title has had a very vocal and zealous fanbase in Japan for the past three years on the net.
The publisher may have placed their bets on these fanbase to do the evangelical work on their own.
It's not popular?
How come whenever a new anime adaption comes out, there are tons of people on /a/ who already read the novel jump into discussion? Do you guys really read that much Japanese novels?
>Do you guys really read that much Japanese novels?
I can't speak for others, but I've read close to a hundred titles on Narou and own about 40 books myself.
And for Gate and Log Horizon, I own every book published, from manga, spin-offs, to RPG rulebooks and replays.
>Feel hyped as fuck
>Read the whole fucking manga up to last release in one sitting.
Lem killing spawn begins, he respawns and she's found dead.
Everyone, but Beatrice distrusts him.
>He's hated by the same people he loves and is trying so desperately to protect but can't reveal the time loop to anybody.
>Mfw I have to wake up in three hours to go to college and I haven't gone to sleep.
>Mfw all my drowsiness disappeared due to shock and excitement.
Holy shit this is fucking glorious Being Subaru is so much suffering.
I'm so excited that I'd rip off my balls right now and give them to whoever offered to translate the LN.
Please spoil me. PLEASE!
assassin maidsissue gets resolved?
What happens next? Is this manga just a malestorm of sufferning and
nightmares filled with blissful warmth?

Death March is fun though. you don't like an OP MC who hangout with fellow reincarnators/transporter and travel the world for the sake of finding cooking ingridients?
at least Satou isn't an edgy teenager
Arc2: At the end of the arc 2 you are reading,
everything works out, Rem falls in love with Subaru, and the village children are saved.
Arc 3 starts out with Queen candidate meeting and to start the competition for the throne.
Subaru loses trust of everyone, gets his ass beat by Julius in a duel after making an ass of himself, broken and alone except for Rem, he starts training under Vilhelm.
He finds out the mansion is in danger and tries to find a way to get back, but the White Whale of Gluttony is a threat on the road to avoid.
On the way he and Rem are captured and killed by the Cult. In some loops he manages to reach the mansion alone, but only to find the children he befriended piled in a mount of corpse, Ram mutilated in front of them, Emilia dead, and Puck's rage causing the entire land to freeze and kill Subaru.
In one of the encounters Subaru is tortured and have to see Rem slowly ripped to pieces to death and he is driven insane.
The next loop he's a drooling madman, but Rem tries to carry him back to the mansion, only to end up getting mutilated again and again.
Subaru finally manages to snap out of his madness thanks to anger, and vows to end this in the next loop.
Subaru realizes he needs to reconcile with people in the capital and find help.
He learns to atone for his arrogance, use his brain, and win back the trust of people.
He eventually manages to bring Julius, Vilhelm, soldiers under Cruche, and mercenaries of Anastasia to follow him.
The next dozens of chapters is dedicated to fighting the Whale. Those eaten by the White Whale are literally ERASED from the world, as if they never existed. Only Subaru can remember them. The group eventually defeats the whale.
This is the halfway point of arc 3. The brutal and bloody clash with the Witch Cult is the second half.
And true despair is in the second half.
I won't get into a lengthy description of the second half:
After the battle is finally won by Subaru and Betelgeuse, the Bishop of Sloth is killed, Subaru finds out that Bishop of Gluttony has eaten Rem. She is in a coma, and no one, not even Ram remembers who Rem was.
Rem was the only one who stayed with Subaru and supported him with unconditional love all this time, and Subaru couldn't bear it. So he kills himself.
Subaru wakes up to realize by defeating the Witch Cult the save point had moved forward. It is now impossible to save Rem. He despairs.
End of Arc 3 (and possibly where the anime will end)
I'm gonna add onto the suffering because I'm an asshole.
Rem brings up how she loves Subaru and wants to be with him, and due to her amazing support during the ordeal, he seriously considers it but tells her he still prioritizes Emilia.
Rem is alright with this and will do her best to convince to take them both, and of course Subaru will give it a shot but will abide by whatever Emilia decides on.
So once the fight is over and everything's peachy, he brings it up to Emilia on their way to rendezvous with others including Rem.
Except Emilia has no idea who this Rem girl is, and no one else does either, and he later finds her in a coma with no one else knowing who she even is either.
So he kills himself and it's already saved past the point where it happened.
Each arc is like double the length of the last.
Like Harry Potter.
I knew it since the beginning.
The slow and tranquil music, the wam colors of the scenery, the beautiful and kind half-elf heroine.
It couldn't be something happy.
First arc of manga looked nice. It had that "I'll overcome everything to save the beautiful girl I love" vibe. But at the beginning of the second arc and after reading everything you posted I realize it sounds more and more like
Subaru will become just another version of PSTD Takeru from Muv-Luv.
Does he even keep his unconditional love to Emilia by this point? Or does she become just a side character? Also, do you think they'd release a second season after this?
This is true despair. The manga comes out monthly, there aren't any LN translations and we can only hope the anime will cover till arc 3 or beyond.
Oh man I don't know why the author does this. Does he even want to write a proper, happy and fullfilling ending to this novel?
>Does he even keep his unconditional love to Emilia by this point? Or does she become just a side character?
Subaru always keeps his unconditional love for Emilia. Granted Emilia herself doesn't seem to be romantically interested in Subaru until like the end of the 4th arc, and even then her romance is very...platonic.
Pack raised her to be a girl very ignorant in the ways of romance and men.
That's it, I'm done.
I'm not cut out for this stuff.
I'm going back to haremshit to soothe this feeling.
Funny thing is, since the others don't see all the failures Subaru goes through due to reset, the only negative thing they remember is from the debacle at the court.
Because of this he seems like this impossible hero who gets through impossible odds.
I knew from the very start when I stumbled upon this novel/manga, that because of this whole "you must die to load from previous save point" thing the whole series is just going to be horrible suffering.
and so what the fuck is her problem when she utterly betrays Subaru like this
>I'm so excited that I'd rip off my balls right now and give them to whoever offered to translate the LN.
While we're at it let's pile even more misery to that
Arc 4: Subaru is shown a vision of alternate world.
Emilia walks in the room after >>139638351 to find Subaru's corpse after he committed suicide.
Not understanding why, Emilia cries why! why would you do this to me!
Subaru realizes there's a possibility that those universe didn't cease to exist, and somewhere there may be a despaired Emilia for what he has done.
No more, please.
I promise I wont ever read this.
I'm sorry I was born.
Rosewaal basically forces Emilia to undergo a trial she has no way of overcoming without Subaru's help.
Emilia constantly mentally breaks in this arc.
There's also loads of other fun things. Like dealing with the mansion (Beatrice) getting attacked while they're away, a swarm of Gluttony rabbits (imagine a locust swarm, but of rabbits that are super deadly and can't be killed unless you kill them all at the same time) that need dealt with.
Not to mention Rosewaal himself clearly being an enemy.
And the best part?
Subaru gets to see a what-if segment of what might have happened (the person showing him these doesn't know if they're parallel worlds or really just the world calculating what would have happened) after he dies in certain loops.
Like Emilia bawling over Subaru killing himself after finding out Rem was in a coma.
Or Ram and Beatrice shocked that Subaru jumped off a cliff and killed himself.
Pack getting killed by Reinhardt after killing Subaru.
Subaru takes this all very hard.
This is just too much
Honestly, I have to wonder if the anime will adapt those "what if" chapters as a way to kick down anime only watchers too. If they do manage to somehow adapt all of the third arc, with how it ends, I can only see tears in the future.
The one time where Sloth possesses Subaru and dies a very gruesome death while keeping Sloth trapped is a good what-if.
Since it was basically Emilia's fault and she knew it and had a front row seat.
It will definitely get to Arc 3. I imagine Arc 2 will be ending in the first cour, and the entire second cour will be dedicated to arc 3.
They may be able to cover all if they skip or consolidate some of the loops.
Arc 3 is way too long to do faithfully, it'd be a drag to be honest. I'd settle for some creative liberty taken just to wrap the series up well.
I think I already know the answer but, Is the WN translated and available to read somewhere?
Also, do you think after arc 6 there's still juice left to this series or is it approaching an ending. Shit sounds just like an endless loop of misery and tragedy.
Ah so it's understandable if they cut some stuff for arc 3 because it's too long and draggy? Well that's understandable. Draggy stuff are not good for animated shows.
I read the manga and I liked Beatrice in the last few chapters. Will she still be good?
seriously why though
this is pissing me off so much
Arc 6 isn't even solving any of their current problems so far.
They go to the Sage's tower to find out how to help cure Gluttony's bullshit and things about the other Bishops.
Except getting there was near impossible and once they get inside, the sage isn't even there and the caretaker is a complete dumbass that has no idea about anything ever.
Not to mention they're forced to solve puzzles. PUZZLES!
So yeah, there's plenty to go.
Arc 6 is nowhere near the end, I think it may be halfway point.
We still have no clue what Satella's endgame is or how it's connected to Emilia, why she (probably) brought Subaru there, or why she's madly in love with him.
I'm actually raging here as well. he had no idea that the woman entered in the pub (HER VOICE GODDAMMIT! USE IT!!!) was her very own killer.
I mean okay, sure, all these triggered because of Felt's question about what he'll use the insignia for, but still...
>or how it's connected to Emilia
Did you miss the parts where
the Bishops want to use her as the witch's vessel and in arc 4 the witch just outright fucking possessed her?
And she didn't bring Subaru there; they went on what, Anastatia's idea? Envy had nothing to do with anything.
Not to mention
Emilia has yet to even be close to becoming Queen, and Subaru still has to suffer through collecting the other Sins to become a sage that certain people want him to be.
So 6 arcs and NOTHING HAS BEEN SOLVED?
What the fuck is that?! Is the author some kind of psychopath that only wants to ever deliver suffering and without actual development?
With that much tragedy happening I'd expect it was at least worth some answers.
Not him but that's good to hear, anon. Though she isn't exempt from the "everybody dies at least once" rule, is she? Especially when she's close to the suffering magnet
>NOTHING HAS BEEN SOLVED?
Sloth and Greed are dead.
They finally got Rosewaal's actual support.
And Emilia actually has some supporters aside from literally just Subaru.
And Beatrice marries Subaru.
But yeah, otherwise more problems keep popping up than get solved.
She dies a few times in arc 4 because she's tired of living and just lets the attackers kill her. She also dies once in Arc 6, I think. She made it through Arc 5 alright if I recall, though.
>And Beatrice marries Subaru.
I want to see him scream more. His suffering is the only thing good about this.
>Anime will cover only 3 arcs out of the 6 currently released.
>Arc 6 still is midway through the plotline.
>Novels never translated due to Slow Press fucking shit up.
I'll just go to sleep and try to forget I ever watched the first episode and 2 volumes of manga.
It's a joke you twit.
They both make vows and start supporting each other. AKA marriage.
It's actually just an elementalist and his contracted element.
Not to mention they CONSTANTLY hold hands. She's not even fit for marriage anymore.
>a maggot power-wise in his team
It's more like Subaru is weaker than almost literally everyone in the cast.
Granted the cast is a bunch of really strong people according to the setting, but since there's like hardly any normal people for reference, it's hard to come off that way.
I also googled it and nothing comes up though I'm going to assume at this point there's nothing in terms of it being out in English? There doesn't really seem to be any places TLing it either.
oh fuck me
I'll be back in 12 years when it catches up to the WN/LN
Otto actually has some martial arts training, and he's even beaten Subaru up. So that's out.
And loli maid has also beat him up, though that was probably a gag scene more than anything.
>they CONSTANTLY hold hands
You can make babies by doing that
Anon, your other option would have been nanodesu since they were the one's who tried to pick it before YP got it. In the whole time ND had their project up, they only released 1 chapter, one.
So you had 2 choices, grind runes for years until you could read japanese or wait for years until ND/YP release anything. If anything, YP would have had a faster pace than ND, same reason I desperately want them to pick up grimgal, ND an equally slow shit as YP, but with YP I get fancy physical books at least
Ye, all the gore and edge are common enough in chinese fiction that it doesn't faze me anymore, and pulling it over and over really makes it lose the shock value too. I'm only in it for Gashin/the illustrator
All you need to know is that volume 1 comes out in July and 2 in November.
Which means we might be caught up to the anime in about 4 years if we're lucky.
What good would a single normal invisible punch do?
Even it catches him off guard, its power is pathetic.
Especially since Slothy could use it to literally mow down trees.
And Subaru is limited to 1 short arm compared to Sloth's like 100 long-ass arms, as well as using it fucks him up so bad he may as well not at all.
The only time it helped was with magical surgery on the waifu.
what decides Subaru's checkpoint? I thought it would update after evading his death like it did with Erza? But apparently it updates when Lem dies?
I mean I guess he technically did avoid his death, so of course it updates to that time so.. did I just answer my own question?
The point there was just to land a hit since Garfield was exhausted to all hell.
A good normal punch would've done it.
Not to mention the point of an invisible punch kinda astounded him to give up.
I'll probably come back to these threads when it's done airing so I get spoiled for the shit I'll never be able to read about. Feels bad getting into a thing and knowing you'll never know the end.
Subaru will become just another version of PSTD Takeru from Muv-Luv.
Yep, he is basically like TDA takeru and
after CHOMP takeru
It turns out that hot girls generally have people they're interested in before meeting the MC.
Go figure, right? It's seriously not often you meet a heroine who's already in a relationship.
Because of the three important girls introduced so far, (excluding Emilia who's actually his heroine), loli thief is his bro's heroine, and crazy semen demon is a crazy semen demon.
part a first then part b its a 40 minute episode
Fuck this like Steins;Gate and MuvLuv Alternative all over again. I just can't help reading or watching the story where the protagonist always in despair and PTSD.
He even has same hair as Okabe lel.
Maybe people in charge simply like the series?
Seriously, LN fags are probably the worst fanbase in the entire manga/anime industry. When something like Mahouka can become a super hit you know something is very wrong.
It's possible they want to expand beyond the LN readers. LN's by themselves don't make much money. If you get a hit anime that sells a lot of BD's and merchandise you will make much more money than even top selling LN's.
Man to be honest I didn't like Mahouka's premises at first. But when I just said, "fuck it, I'll just watch it for what it is" that's when I enjoyed the series.
I want a season 2.
I know it has a moderate following, but what to JP people really about it? I heard they don't like the arcs after the first one or something.
He doesn't fit the stereotype of NEET, though. He mentions that even though he's never fought anyone before, he works out a lot. Hence why when he thought the thugs were unarmed he took them on, but when he saw they had a knife he did what people in real life are always told to do in a knife fight.
The fact that she's not
the witch that is yandere for mcis the true tragedy in this series.
> I just can't help reading or watching the story where the protagonist always in despair and PTSD.
This. Shit like this excites me
the biggest problem with this show is that the MC sucks hard.
He had an entire second chance, yet he spectacularly blew it. He's basically teleported into a world where a huge amount of brainpower is required, and he has NONE of it.
That's not actually true in this one.
Subaru always keeps his attempts well within the single digits.
Granted he has a very bad habit of never realizing what kills him the first time in a loop.
It's like a running gag at this point.
The fact that you've been teleported to a strange world can be easily confirmed by your eyes
Traveling back in time would probably be much more shocking, not to mention difficult to prove to yourself
okay LNfags, I'm pretty sure he'll be a relevant character later. but what's his script in the later arcs?
Do you guys believe in non interference policy? that he'd be much better (and all of them, actually) if he just decided to forget about Satella / Emilia at this point?
It'd be infinitely better for him, but really shitty for her.
if my theory on the Witch of Envy's goal is correct though, he'd end up getting pulled into deep shit anyways.
The novel didn't really boom until halfway through the 3rd arc, the legendary "From Zero" chapter.
It blew everyone's mind and fans turned into zealots.
Annoying zealots that is, they were everywhere for a while preaching the gospel.
It's after he loses everything, goes insane, and regains sanity that he basically has an epiphany: "I need to stop being a stupid dipshit and step it up"
From there he finally starts to slowly climb the stairs to herohood.
Not him, but he clearly felt the pain of death and there's no way to explain experiencing an whole day's events only to realize you're still standing in front of the fruit stand from that morning with the guy telling you the same shit from that morning.
He points out so much shit immediately that it would only take a retard like him to not put two and two together.
>Salesman never saw you before.
>It was nighttime when you died.
>Your stomach is completely fine despite getting eviscerated.
>Muggers never saw you.
>Old man back from the dead, doesn't recall dying when asked.
There's also more shit that would immediately make anyone think "I'm looping" or "I can respawn?"
Still, just re-spawning isn't even the half of what's actually going on, just thinking he has the ability to come back to an earlier point in time makes sense and is believable, now if he knew the finer details of his curse then there would be a problem.
I think most people would first ask themselves if they could see the future / possible futures first. Since that's a lot safer of a bet to rely on than to hope that you can respawn / time loop.
Keep in mind, did you see his eyes at the beginning, when he mentions he's really low on sleep from gaming? Fucker looks like he hasn't slept in 48 hours and could pass out any second. It's a bit reasonable for him to think he's also just tripping the fuck out.
Just among the fans. It was at that point they realized why the protagonist was so annoying and dumb, and why he was being put through hell.
Reader epiphany chapter if you will, the author set it up to build up to it.
>It was at that point they realized why the protagonist was so annoying and dumb, and why he was being put through hell.
There is an actual reason why the author puts him through gruesome deaths? I thought he just wanted it that way.
I'm hoping most of the anime will be dedicated to arc 3. I can see arcs 1 and 2 being handled in 10-13 episodes, depending on if they can skim over the more uneventful loops. That would leave a whole 13 episodes, an entire cour, to get through arc 3, which sounds like it would make for a good finale.
Ram wants to fuck Rosewaal.
Crusch wants to fuck the trapcat (kinda?)
Prsicilla wants to fuck her harem of shota butlers.
Anastasia wants to fuck money, which happens to not be Subaru.
Felt is busy getting kidnapped by the strongest person in the kingdom and is developing Stockholm Syndrome for him, so that's also out.
Anyone else you got questions about?
Not him but what is there to elaborate?
You said there was a lot of girls in the covers and the other anon told you that they aren't interested in MC and have interest in other male characters instead with a curt "They have husbandos".
Beatrice isn't human, she's humanoid shaped living magic. And she's a mothercon and pack-con.
Ram is one of the twins, and the other one does actually want the protag D.
The red headed woman knight is from a flashback. She's the redheaded guy's grandmother and the old badass butler looking guy's wife.
The green hair woman is Crusch you silly.
What woman wouldn't want to fuck this clearly not-a-guy womanly woman cat?
>log horizon still in the top 20
I'm reminded of MGS2 when they talk about the idea of the pop-charts being rigged so that people go to what they believe is popular with other people, thus making it popular among the masses, when the metric is completely BS
Where are you reading the WN from /a/non?
I'm a N4 japanese student but I'm so hyped for this series that I'm willing to try and read the novels dictionary in hand just to know what happens next.
its all about pacing your market.
Over-saturate it with multiple volumes, before you know anyone is even interested, and you can lose a major investment in time and money.
besides, its easier to do a print edition of 10,000 copies of volume one than to try to do multiple editions at the same time, hoping they all sell
If this is not a harem why all girls keeps multiplying with none of them deadd and has affection to MC and keep adding more liliana the purple girls and we have not known the witch that like the MC so he has the scents of witch
She is looking for you anon.
