I'm glad it's finally over
This was the gayest shit I've ever seen.
and I mean that literally.
SHIT ending should have just let him an hiro 0/10
Wait so... Sensei didn't get any punishments in this time line, since he technically didn't kill anybody and Satoru didn't sue him or what?
I saw him on that Pizza scooter at the end, that was him right?
>Oh shit, this might be interesting
>The entire latter half
>Headache intensifies with every new episode
I fucking hate anime
Reminder that Sensei knew everything from the beginning and tried to prevent Satoru from being cucked.
Was I the only one that wanted sensei to have a happy ending?
Like seriously despite him being a cold blooded killer, he was one of the most interesting characters in the show.
Even took care of Satoru during his coma for a while. Fuck man, feels bad that he's going to be locked up for God knows how long.
Also laxative girl>Airi. I almost wish the nigga would go back in time just to make good with her
Satoru and Kenya didn't make it to the AU
Why would he get locked up for long? If you think about it he hasn't committed any hard crimes. Didn't kill anyone, the poisoning of the girl can't be tracked back to him and he even 'saved' Satouru. He'll be out in 3 years max.
Don't go shitting on my boys at Deen, Rakugo is leagues above this shit (even if it still is NTR)
the kayo plotline was GOAT, the rest was not so good
I don't even like Kayo but the ending was still shit. Even if we disregard him getting cucked by Kayo, he still got cucked by life. And don't give me that "the fifteen years I spent being a vegetable are my treasure because my """friends""" had fun" dogshit
>literally never met Airi once in this time line
>but here's an Airi end
This is actually worse than Charlotte
>kayofags were so deluded at one point that they thought we were getting an original anime-only ending
>now in full damage control mode handing out their worthless x/10 scores
So how much gay yaoi can we expect from these two now.
I don't even care that he got cucked
I just didn't care about anything in the story besides "help this abused little girl live a happy life"
once that was resolved I just did not care
THIS KINDA SHIT IS ONLY SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE
From all the possible reactions it had to be the classical angry response. And I was liking this scene.
>anime is over
>people give scores to said anime
>prime 17 year old pussy is now washed-up 21 year old roastie pussy
This episode was fucking hilarious. Especially the whole rooftop scene.
>A group of students finds themselves on a sinking capsized ship. Together with some zombies. What happened to the ship and why are there zombies aboard? It's a battle against time and the zombies, to save themselves.
Doesn't sound that bad. What's wrong with it?
>statue of limitations on attempted murder in Japan is less than 15 years
This can't be correct.
they should have both jumped off the roof and died
then satoru wakes up in a hospital bed in 1988 surrounded by his mom and friends, and then he happily lives out the rest of his childhood together with them
The doujins are writing themselves in big amounts as we speak.
> The Japanese Diet on Tuesday approved a bill abolishing the statute of limitations for murder. The new law abolishes the statute of limitations for serious capital crimes, which was previously 25 years, and extends [Daily Yomiuri report] the limitation period for sexual assault and other crimes resulting in death from 15 to 30 years.
Kayo-fags please. Airi has always been the superior girl and deserve to win
>MALfags still eating this shit up
What a fucking surprise
They knew he was on the roof from the phone call. As for how they could have positioned properly he was dangling over the edge for a while.
It's anyone's guess whether it was a gambit for Satoru to try and roll off beforehand or not, though. They could have been down there the whole time or he could have been banking on Yashiro saving him.
>literally the only good thing that came out thanks to this anime
Japan fucked up again.
>Boku dake ga inai machi™ is my treasure
They had to find the correct side of the building first. Highly unlikely.
Where did they get that air pillow from in that short time?
What had happened if they didn't talked for several minutes on the roofs?
It feels like too many coincidences were in Satorus favor.
The temperature outside was colder than the water, so when he hit the water he didn't actually freeze to death right away. He was just lucky.
It's explained in the manga.
Seriously. I give a 10/10. Comedy of the year right here folks!
Pretty good ending.
Still, for me the show was much better and AOTS up until the episode 6 (the one that ends in Satoru getting cuffed). The pace was just amazing for those episodes, afterwards it was a little all over the place and the plot lots its sense of purpose somewhat.
And it's a little hard to feel closure because the murder isn't gonna get all that punished since he didn't klll anyone in this timeline and Satoru lost a huge part of his life. Not exactly the most feel-good inspiring ending.
Maybe it's still AOTS but now it's mostly because nothing else is better, not because it's so good (which is what I thought during those early episodes).
Yashiro waited for 15 years.
Who is best girl again?
Why is sensei so based and so cute?
>absolutely loved the show, 10/10
>wonder why people were hating it
Now I know why. Damn some people can't handle if the first piece of ass they ship isn't how it ends. /a/ complains about gary-stu's but if the MC doesn't get the absolute perfect ending they call it shit. So tsundere.
He's spent fifteen years obsessing over him, wondering what the fuck his cryptic message about knowing the future meant. He had gotten to the point of considering his 'knowledge of the future' as a bluff to save his life, then when he wakes up he gets blown the fuck out and called down to the letter by (to him) a grade schooler who has been in a coma for a decade and a half. Angry disbelief when suddenly faced with the cold cut truth is justified.
Story cop-out: the show. Fuck you.
>Satoru gets qt young girl instead of used, broken goods kayo
Why are we shitposting cuck again?
>They didn't explain how the fuck a normal person can just time leap
On its own show was decent i guess, would have been ideal if it got more episodes but can't pick and choose these days.
ED is actually so good.
Him getting with this girl would make a lot more sense than Airi.
>can't handle homosexual characters
stop repressing your desires, it's not healthy
This is basically how the director changed how he got his memories back from the manga. Can't believe he hated Airi this much
It'd be a waste not to get any with those lips
ALL OF YOU faggots are missing the point in a massive fucking way.
YASHIRO is STILL ALIVE and so is SATORU.
Do you know what this means?
YASHIRO WILL RETURN AFTER 3 YEARS OF JAIL AND TAKE HIS REVENGE
Best girl DID win
baka redditfags missing the point
kenya is the only one with tears
Is it confirmed?
>A good seinen adaptation comes out for once
>/a/ and the otaku cannot handle it because muh shipping
>keep downvoting it everywhere
Is this why we get so much idol moeshit and battle harems?
I can confirm that this is true, for anyone that's wondering. The mammalian diving reflex is stronger for infants, but overall you can still benefit and be able to survive 30+ minutes underwater.
>another somewhat decent animu completely ruined by an asspull pretentious ending that doesn't fit with the rest of the show
This needs to stop.
I was just glad she became good friends with everyone rather than forgotten about
>Boku dake ga inai machi is my treasure
So this shit ending pretty much confirmed rakugo as the actual AOTS/AOTY right? Not that there was any doubt before
He is in a phase and he will get over it once he has a good reflection (and also starts missing Satoru). He will be back to take his sweetheart Satoru from that pizza eating pig.
BELIEVE in best guy
It has nothing to do with "muh shipping", it has to do with the fact that the murder mystery wasn't nearly as interesting or endearing as the Kayo storyline.
She's the whole reason anyone cared about the show.
I've watched all 3 "contenders" (Rakugo, Konosuba, BokuMachi) and I've been enjoying Rakugo the most. Most people just shitpost it and write it off as gay shit without even watching it.
Kill LA kill yourself
>went to /a/ a lot
>enjoyed some anime, but only moderately
>stop going to /a/ around november of last year
>suddenly start loving a lot of anime
Trust me, just leave. I've been on /a/ twice this year, once around episode 3 because I wanted to see what people thought of erased, and I got spoiled on sensei. Then once more today, where I find people saying it was mediocre and that an ending as amazing as that was shit for no particular reason.
I'm probably bailing again here soon because I can feel my love of anime draining fast.
is this that NTR anime full of cucks that /a/ is so hell bent on?
So what exactly is the moral of the story here?
>check all people with less then 6 ratings for last 30 minutes
>most of them have 400+titles 24+ age and registered in 2007-2008
Wish more of those people was here in /a/.
>Daily threads every day
>AOTS OF THE SEASON HURR HURR THIS ANIMAY IS SO EPIC
>/a/ gets KEKED
>Shitposted to death
Never change, guys. You filled the hole inside me. But not really
The airplane here is going at an incredibly steep descent. I don't think they're going to make it
I know it was supposed to be fatherly love but damn these kinds of scenes were gay, yeah.
It had many flaws, but was still better than most shows that came out this season, probably second best after Rakugo. It told the same story the manga did, all while keeping the art and music decent. Not a masterpiece, and I might be biased because I've been hungry for seinen for a long time, but I liked it.
>spoiled on sensei
m8 even if you missed all the obvious hints he was always the only possible choice for murder
the show has like 4 adults and two of them are women, leaving only sensei and the reporter dude with the later getting far too little screentime to be a serious suspect
>tfw best anime of the season are both cuck anime
Moral of the manga:
YOU MAKE YOUR FUTURE
BUT IT MIGHT WORK LIKE SHIT LMAO
Moral of the anime:
SENSEI BEST GIRL
although I am bothered by the fact he didn't stay with kayo at the end it was a good show and I enjoyed it, not as much as I enjoyed the first butterfly effect movie or steins;gate though.
Once this thread is done I'll book it, yeah. I knew /a/'s reaction to things were terrible, I just didn't know how much that effected my enjoyment of the shows I was watching whether I agreed with them or not.
It was more one of those 'It's probably him but maybe it's not somehow?' in a stockholm sort of way. I never expected him not to be the guy, but I didn't give up hope that maybe by some asspull it wasn't him.
First half was decent, second half was bad.
I think MCs "go back in time" ability is the most retarded plot device i've ever seen. And it's not like it was even necessary since it actually starts the story. The author is absolutely retarded, and the resolution was retarded too.
I can't believe there's thousands of people who actually think this anime is an absolute masterpiece
Anime does a good job of making wage slave jobs look fun
What kind of bulls do they keep referencing in this episode? Is it really that common an saying in Japan?
I'm so glad this got BTFO by the superior cuck anime
>best girl wins
I never stopped believing
I think this last episode alone had over 20 plotholes
Meanwhile MAL praises it as an absolute masterpiece
the show lost the plot around ep 6
kayo who was the centre of the universe for most of the show literally disappeared and turned irrelevant
murder mystery was shit and not mysterious at all
present/future resolution is really stupid
every one of these threads usually go as follows:
>anime watchers are suprised
>manga readers remind anime watchers of upcoming cuck/airi wins
>"ew shitty art"
>complaints about complaints
next ep later
>anime watchers are surprised
>manga readers still ignored
>same ol same ol
it was you fucking mongrel
there was no potential whatsofuckignever
MC was a boring retard from the very first second he showed up with his expressionless face
Fuck off, faggot. Let go of my leg.
Just stating the shameful true. Do you want me to cry or something at how pathetic can you guys be? How do you even auto insert into a fictional work and get emotionally affected by it? Dreadful
He also waited 15 years for him to wake up.
I liked it, even though the last episode was rushed and stupid.
You'd have to be quite blind, deluded, stupid, or all three to not see that this was a masterpiece.
Then again this is /a/ we're talking about, the place that holds trash like sora no woto and samurai flamenco in high regard.
Haven't read the manga, my only complaints with the show are that it's really stupid at times, I can accept the idea of time traveling and that sort of shit, but the fact that the MC could run around the streets without being caught by the police, even after being framed for burning Airi's house was too much for me, and that Airi didn't get almost any development, the SatoruXAiri felt forced in the ending.
Other than that, I fucking loved it, loved the opening, really liked the characters and even if the story wasn't as interesting after the whole "Save the abused girl" it was still pretty cool, wish the show could've been longer, maybe something like 18 episodes to develop the antagonist and Airi?. I'd say it's 8-9/10
Okay autist, I will tell you.
>In general, an opinion is a judgment, viewpoint, or statement about matters commonly considered to be subjective.
People watch Boku every week. People react at plot twists and quality of show every week. People can change opinion because of overall quality. This is not fuckin movie
It was an interesting premise and Kayo turned out to be super fucking adorable. Also it looked better than average both in terms of animation and composition. So like I said, it was easy to think this was going to be really good. See >>139040773 for when it turned bad for me.
>complains about letterboxing
>complains about usage of color red
>"both are the director hitting us over the head with 'the point"
those are both examples of good directing. what the fuck is this guy thinking?
I really enjoyed it. Blame me . memecucks.
The secret is not taking care of /a/.
>Not Realizing the beauty that is the Sensei route.
>What were you expecting based on the first few episodes
A heartfelt romance drama based around using time travel to rescue a girl from an abusive household.
>by what episode did it get bad for you?
It gets kind of stupid around episode 5 when he time travels to the future and everyone acts illogical for no reason, but I kept going because the girl wasn't saved yet.
Episode 8 is fantastic, and episode 9 onward is not so good.
No, same here.
But I don't think he'll be in prison for too long, all he's done was the attempted drowning. He seems to be lonely as fuck though. The only thing in the world he cared about was Satoru.
I thought it was a really good show.
The writing wasn't as strong post-Kayo arc, but it was still pretty good. Great visuals, great soundtrack that really helped set the tone, and all the main characters were interesting. The twist was pretty obvious but personally I enjoy when the thing I think is going to happen actually happens.
The only reason I could see someone actually hating this show is because they took the NTR meme too seriously.
>gay kanya route
>double gay suicide with sensei at the end (just like hannibal)
>Sensei waited 15 years
Double suicide would have made for a real poetic ending
Instead they went the normalfag family friendly route to sell better, since parents wouldn't buy their kids a show that ends in suicide
was this sensei or was it the original pizza owner?
I think a lot of people miss the point of the second half (which is admittedly weaker but not as bad as everyone makes it out to be) and because of that they feel betrayed or like their expectations weren't met. While the content of the chapters post-coma is different than the previous part of the manga, the themes are the same as those presented throughout, so it's not like much changed. There are also a few stellar chapters post-coma, notably the first two and the one with sensei as the narrator.
IS A1 EVER GOING TO DELIVER A SATISFYING ENDING TO A SHOW THAT GOT PEOPLE HOOKED WITH A STRONG START?
THE ANSWER IS NO
>Just like how Sensei hates yet cannot live without Satoru, I hate yet cannot live without anime
stay mad, keep cyring, meanwhile this is in the top 10 historical of anime shows in the west
Women age like rotting milk, so those 15 years are like dog years to them. But for Sensei, those 15 years were still short enough to make it out of the cellar like bottle of fine wine, career potential and all. You can't fault Kayo for acting, basically - it's genetics and out of her hands.
There already were tons of gay pics on pixiv before. But now we'll probably never get anything else. RIP Airi and Kayo doujinshi.
I told you, I told every single one of you it was shit, from the very first episode, what made steins gate special was not the premise, it was the charismatics characters, especially this guy right here, Erased was shit from the start, every character is boring and miserable as fuck, every time they show an expression is edgy over the top shit
You can have the best premise in the world but if your characters are SHIT or show will be SHIT, if you put the cast of steins gate in an anime about then sitting in a couch and watching tv, it would be the AOTY.
No I genuinely enjoyed your post man. Posts like those are the reason I come here (and to see autists crying NTR). Like no shit, good post.
10/10 story and animation A-1 Pictures did it again
But this is always the problem with these "prevent the crime" stories. If you prevent the crime, on what grounds do you punish the would-be criminal?
This shit went downhill as soon as they revealed sensei as the killer. 5/10
S;G was mediocre outside of the ending
The characters were cringey as fuck and so unrealistic, none of them other than Daru would ever give kyouma the time of the day.
In a series about alternative universes, the most unrealistic thing about it was the characters.
Sensei will never tap that
Same thing with the anime, really. People thought it was a romance drama framed by a murder mystery with a supernatural twist. They liked the romantic sub-plot so much that when it was 'concluded' the remainder of the show, while good, wasn't what they had gotten invested for in the first place.
What makes double suicide so fucking gay?
Really why is so gay?
Who can blame people for buying into Kayo when the anime is literally KAYOKAYOKAYOKAYO 24/7 for the first 9 or so episodes?
I'm not gonna take the blame for that. If you don't want people to think you're some feel-good save the loli drama, don't act like one 95% of the time.
