i watched the anime, then read the manga, then watched the movies

don't regret it at all, the anime does leave some stuff out from the chapters it covers, but its a fucking awesome anime

desu I watched Berserk first, then read the manga and then skipped the golden age arc, cause I thought nothing would change. I was wrong and then got bullied after telling people that.

I don't think you'd be shit on for thinking that. Maybe by a contrarian. It makes sense for Berserk to have an English version and they did a good job. I mean, it could have been a lot better in the anime but it was the 90s so you can't expect much. They used the same cast in the movies so it shows how much the VAs have improved.
