Website updated with a new visual for 3rei.
3rei anime confirmed? Ok, you have my attention. This would be the only Prillya anime season I don't skip. I need Angelica animated.
It's fine. I just want to see Angelica.
>add more fan service
Angelica fanservice? You have my full attention.
>watches a magical girl
>complains about power of love/friendship
I think you might be lost, buddy.
The best part to end 3rei is adding original content in the first episodes
Shota gil bullyng illia friends, and ending with kuro battle vs illia or the first battle vs Julian, after make a second season ending with the second battle vs julian.
Neat. We need more BADASS EMIYA
>A matter of time before best version of KLPI airs
>Prays that Sliver Link doesn't fuck up even the tiniest bit of detailed source from the manga or even rush it (3rei's gonna end halfway somehow like 2rei did, hence a FIFTH season will come next year)
Shit. I forgot all about her dying.
give me more of this.
We can already easily guess how the show's first few and final episodes will go.
>Ep 1: Miyu gets taken away, Illya sees the other world.
>Ep 2: Illya meets Tanaka, nearly gets killed by Ramen guy, Gil saves her
>Ep 3; Story building episode, explains where Miyu is
>Ep 4: Illya breaks in, gets caught, turns to a Teddy Bear
>Ep 5: A little more exposition, shows the enemies have lives. Ends with Illya returning to her body
>Ep 6: The fight begins, ends with Gil about to fight Angelica
>Ep 7: Gil vs Angelica fight, a bit of background fighting as well
>Ep 8; Continuation of the fight, introduces the black muddy hero spirits
>Ep 9: MOTHERFUCKING SHIROU OUT OF NOWHERE
>Ep 10: ends with the gang seeing Miyu being girly and sisterly, hints to the next season
They could always start with episode 1 being mostly anime-only, ending with Angelica and Beatrice kidnapping Miyu back to her world and everyone else following, and pick up with the rest of 3rei from there.
This scene needs to be animated, with EMIYA playing in the background.
I just hope we finish the Shirou part soon in the manga. It's going on way too damn long. It's like lore-friendly filler. Could have EASILY been summed up in two chapters, but they went the extra ten miles with it.
I don't dislike Shirou, I really don't, but holy fuck just get on with the story already.
Yeah, let's do our EMIYA circlejerk when it aired. It'll be fun.
>Summer 2016 season
YES SEIHAI-KUN! THANK YOU FOR GRANTING MY WISH!
I only had to offer the blood of Elder God Demonbane for this to push through
>they add more fan service.
>using this as a negative
Back to MAL.
I'd drown in her ideals, if you know what I mean.
Most of the second fight at the Ainsworth Castle after Ilya was captured.
I still haven't forgotten how they botched the ending of 2wei hertz. They're probably going to give us 5 episodes of filler to start 3rei before hastily introducing the plot that should have been the ending of 2wei.
That would be pure and utter bullshit. They better fix the botched ep10 of 2wie 2 with "It was all a dream" change.
Tons of merchandising.
And https://a.pomf.cat/dpwsfj.m4a borderline felony Illya plushies.
But sadly Miyu Matsuki, the Seiyu of Sapphire is deceased.
She has the closest ties to Heracles from another life time, he's a greatly skilled warrior if he has any sanity about him, and he can nullify any attack below A rank.
Take the last fight in 3rei recently for example where they fought the legions of servants. Imagine if 90% of attacks against Ilya are suddenly nullified, and battle continuation and instinct makes the other 10% of attacks dodgable through honed ability.
Heracles is easily more useful than Arthuria in a lot of wars, especially if the enemy servants don't have enough strong NPs or don't manage to finish him off as he grows some immunity. He's a good crowd killer that can work off less prana than someone like Arthur who has to spam energy to clear crowds. Heracles can just do it because his strength is huge and they can't hurt him.
You say "realistically", but that's just you downplaying it somewhat.
>the final boss fight moment
>the decisive blow
>Illya equipping Hercserker
>"You're a strong card, Bahasaka"
I want to believe
Should I even watch this bait? I've seen some of the fight sense and they were pretty good.
She voiced my waifu. It is very difficult to deal wiith.
I wish I had played Zestiria with JP audio, it would have been my last chance to hear that sweet voice.
>both Girls be... extra chapters are already animated
>tfw this season is the last we'll ever see of Illya's friends
The power of Type Moon and little girls.
She's a CG, but a nearly useless one since the planet is dying. Julian still says something like how her existence is the answer to his corruption of the world, she's something summoned to deal with him.
She gains the Kingprotea card after diving into the Mooncell core which Julian uses to steal hero concepts for cards.
Kingprotea represents Ilya's ideals pretty well; selfishness, growth, infinite growth, desire, a selfish desire to have it all while giving up nothing like a child, to the point that you'll reach the realm of miracles by sheer force because you will create your own answer rather than compromising.
Also giant naked mummy Ilya
>Prisma Illya is going to have 40~ episodes of shit to watch
Oh fuck me. Maybe I shouldn't have backlogged this shit three years ago.
I don't even have the time for the 2-cour shows in my backlog. How the fuck am I supposed to catch up now?
There's nothing wrong with the length of the flashback based on the material.
However since its a monthly manga, it feels a lot longer than it is at times. Doesn't help as well that they've been cutting the chapters short at times lately, to extend it a bit. Also we've bad a few break months since this started so it's also artificial extension.
They could have covered the same amount of material in about three chapters if each chapter was a bit longer I'd assume. Kind of obvious at this point that they're trying to make it fit into exactly one volume worth of material.
I'm sorry, my autism can't handle that weg
Can I watch this without reading Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and not miss out on much / have massive plot points spoiled? I've read F/sn and watched F/Z, but don't really have any other exposure to fateverse stuff and don't really want to read F/HA right now (don't want to read the TL and my Japanese is still too shit for Nasu's writing).
the only relation it has to Fate/Hollow Ataraxia is the fact that some characters and info are from that game, but in the end, the only thing you really need to know about while watching this is Fate/stay night
and either way you wouldn't get that confused anyway if you didn't watch or play fsn since its a whole different world entirely, that is until 3rei where the similarities are uncanny
F/HA doesn't really have any plot points that have relevance in the extended fateverse.
More than anything, HA is the source for most of the Fate/joke material and character quirks.
Either an anime original confrontation that leads into 3rei or they just go full Gakkou Gurashi and make the first episode Illya's school life that slowly reveals at the end of the episode that everything that happened during Herz's ending was all a dream and Illya finds herself in Miyu's world.
>they just go full Gakkou Gurashi and make the first episode Illya's school life that slowly reveals at the end of the episode that everything that happened during Herz's ending was all a dream and Illya finds herself in Miyu's world.
Yes, people expect the anime to stick to the source material when it has mostly stuck to it with Herz being the only exception (and that's because they didn't have enough of 2wei left to fill 10 episodes. Now the ending changes are more difficult to explain, but there was still a caemo of Angelica and Beatrice, so we'll most likely get back on track)
Most of the lolicon pandering from the anime (not counting BD specials and OVAs) came from the manga anyways, and if the manga dropped it, I don't see why the anime can't
I'm not into the kind of edginess and darkness that 3rei is.
If the animation staff won't up the fanservice, then there is no reason to watch it, as there won't be many SoL episodes either ways.
More lolis. Cut down Shirou's wild ride to a single episode.
>Champion of justice
I don't get it.
>I’ve also decided to change the translation for 正義の味方 from “hero” (with a lowercase “h”) in the TV releases to “champion of justice” for these Blurays. The latter is clunkier, but this is to avoid confusion with 英雄, which is translated to “Hero” (with an uppercase “H”). We wanted to use superhero but superhero in english implies some kind of superpowers so that was out of the question.
They're not hating anyone, they just don't risk showing anything lewd or explicit on TV.
Pretty sad, but it's not like any other staff dares show more of lolis these days.
That doesn't change the fact that Prisma is too tame to be called ecchi.
Which cup would you fill?
Fate kaleid liner PRISMAILLYA (manga) by Hiroshi Hiroyama.zip 1.13 GB
One Day! v1-16 (Fate hollow ataraxia).zip
3rei manga is a disaster.
You have few Shirou autists screaming how amazing it is ever thread, but the reality is manga sales dropped by 60% since 3rei started.
I won't be surprised if anime is 3/4 original.
When will people realize that DVD/BD sales are just a tiny % of profits?
Madoka made less than 10 million $ with BD sales. And over 400 million $ with merchandise.
Pretty much the biggest shining example of no fanservice. They didn't do a service shot, didn't draw any shadow, complexion, details or volume on their midriffs. Nothing that would raise an eyebrow in children's morning show.
Nothing. We got a very far away shot, and even that was censored. Even Doraemon shows more.
>episode 5 and 6
Nothing which goes further than just a joke. Nothing visual for sure.
Really, the only thing we got that wasn't cut for a morning show aside from the kisses in a single panty shot.
>You have few Shirou autists screaming how amazing it is ever thread
I think the "few shirou autists" you're talking about is just a person samefagging. It's pretty obvious from the posting pattern and habits. And the fact that posts with said pattern only showed up after around the Install.
This series was a loli holy grail. Then they suddenly turned it into something completely different for months with no end in sight.
Are you really surprised that people are mad?
Imagine how shonenshitters would react if DB suddenly introduced a team of pink magical little girls who beat the shit out of everybody else.
>Beach episode isn't fanservice
>Showing three kids naked in a bathroom isn't fanservice
>Kuro wearing a sexy nightie isn't fanservice
>Obligatory kimono episode with Illya losing her kimono isn't fanservice!
OK, pretty much everyone already knkws how delusional you are, Fai
Now shut the fuck up and go spew your autism in MAL
Except there wasn't any ecchi fanservice, which is what I'm talking about, smartass.
They didn't show anything in the beach episode that a little girl's show doesn't, the nakedness was so out of focus that a children's show shows more, the nightie didn't show anything, so it was implied eroticism, but still no ecchi, and the kimono was once again used for comedy, as we didn't show anything lewd. No ecchi there.
You can act like the tough oldfag calling out on a troll all you want, it won't change the fact that Illya anime didn't give us any ecchi eye candy. People wouldn't even have noticed any of those if not for the fact that they are lolis.
What salt? It's you Shirou retards who are going to be salty as fuck. SL already started going anime original.
3rei manga is selling like shit since Shirou crap started. They would be retarded to just adapt it with no changes. And they actually already started changing plot last season.
>It's not fanservice or ecchi!
>It's implied eroticism!
> Iri wiggling her butt in episode 6 wasn't lewd!
> Kuro pushing her knee in Illya's pussy while she tonged her in an anime original scene wasn't lewd!
>typical Beach episode with everyone in skimpy swimsuits isn't fanservice, no it definitely isn't
>Kuro in a "sexy nightie" wasn't meant to be lewd
>Illya losing her kimono and getting naked wasn't meant to be lewd!
>An anime with clear loli pandering isn't trying to do loli pandering because I said so!
BTFO Fai, now get the fuck out
Nothing visually ecchi still.
You should stop repeating the same things if you purposedly use a different meaning of fanservice instead of proving me wrong.
They didn't show a single service shot outside of the kiss scenes, and one panty shot, this is the fact.
I wish Kaleid Illya would learn to do magic the normal way. Her metal birds were nice.
That's good, because beggars can't be choosers and all.
Still it's not nearly on even tame ecchi level. It is awkward and coward about having loli fanservice, but at least it does have some.
>manga sales dropped by 60% since 3rei started.
Still no hard proof of this
You guys have been here for far too long. It's not rape-y at all.
Maybe she's just ticklish?
>lolifags and yurifags read manga made by a complete Fate fanboy
>then feel betrayed and stop buying the manga when said fanboy then starts giving the manga an actual plot and indulges in what he likes
I guess if we learned something, is that you either pander fully to a niche or you don't at all
I have to admit I liked them adding that aspect connecting her to her mom.
Prisma's Illya should be able to learn it, right? Iri definitely knows how to cast those in Prismaverse.
You mean boring, generic as shit repeat of HF with muh GAR Shirou?
And this was a loli manga for like what? 9 years?
If I wanted generic fateshit I'd read generic fateshit.
>>Type moon moving away from eroge
It's really a shame that Nasu is willing to stab the fans that practically made his career in the back to pander to normalfags. At least we can rest assured that his best works will always be eroge.
What's not to love about these two?
KnK is good but not that good. The story is pretty meh and even Nasu said he is embarrassed by them, but ifotable made the movies look good, which is the only reason it's popular. Mahoyo is trash.
>mfw TM starts killing every non-popular enough Tsukihime VA to get younger or more popular people
And Horie Yui isn't that bad as Kohaku to be honest familia.
I'm assuming he means Uryu from Fate/Zero
You hate Fate
That's when the author doesn't care about you given he's a Fate fanboy and this had been hinting towards a Fate-like plot since the first year
(The fucking Saber Alter fight revealed Illya was still a grail. Then, there's Miyu and the driving questions of where the fuck she came from, why she was chosen by Saphire and why the fuck she volunteered to recover the class cards
Then, there's Miyu mistaking Shirou for her brother when she met him the first time on 2wei)
>Most likely wont have hentai.
Even if that happens they are later going milk money with an 18+ version that everyone is going to buy.
And that doest change the fact that Arcueid falls in love with Shiki after he decides to not rape her after she begged to him to not do it. Hell even without H-scenes rape and magical semen are part of Type-moon stories.
False and false. As bad as the H scenes were, the replacements were worse. As for Tsukihime remake, it's never going to get finished. And Nasu's best works are Kagetsu Tohya and HA, neither of which have all ages versions.
Nasu: It was about 10 years ago when I wrote Kara no Kyoukai, hoping that I could connect with even one other person with this story. It was originally a doujinshi that was handed out during Comiket. A string of good luck led to it becoming a publication in Kodansha Novels, and was published by Shogyo Line. At that point, I felt content having that just be the end of it for Kara no Kyoukai; it had already grown so much larger than I could have ever anticipated that I felt no regret in leaving it there. Yet somehow a plan later dropped to have it be converted to a 7 chapter movie series. With a few setbacks, the first chapter was completed, and when I saw it, I... I almost didn't know what to say... the man I was when I penned this over 10 years ago would have never believed this. Yet at the same time I felt a sense of unease. No matter how wonderful the movie version is, Kara no Kyoukai just wasn't meant to be a movie.
The actual writing of Kara no Kyoukai is a pretty embarrassing memory for me—suffice it to say it is a work that represents my true self at the time. I wrote it at a time when I felt I could take on the world armed only with my words, and I realized [through this movie] that the farther removed it became from the written medium, the more distant it became from what I was actually trying to express. So as successful as it was, it was on a different path than what my past self was trying to take with it, and it just didn't match up.
Realta Nua was better by a huge margin since it added new (better) tracks and new scene
The H scenes are an acceptable loss (and more of a win, really) since they are shitty and cringe inducing
Perhaps the only route that is hurt by RN new content is HF but that's still only 1/3 of the game
Conclusion: RN >> original
Nasu was only 95% happy with the original but was 100% happy with RN btw
Sales don't speak for quality unless you're telling me SnK is fucking amazing (and if you do, let me laugh at you) since the ANN chart you linked to has that crap in the first place
And true, he wasn't forced to. He did it like that because he likes Fate and it's his manga and he writes whatever the fuck he wants, not what some deluded Fate haters want
Nasu: I like to think that they've added lots of original scenes that are what Modern-day Kinoko Nasu would write. I got them to do what I wanted with the Rin vs. Illya scene in #03. That scene wasn't, "Kinoko has become a better writer in 10 years," but rather that Fate/stay night has upped its game in so many ways over the past 10 years that if we write on its level, we can add to it like this. I want to make it the latest and greatest Fate/stay night, one that incorporates those 10 years.
Kondo: Illya didn't have many chances to play an active role in the original, but I think it's great that we were able to show Illya's overwhelming power by having her fight Rin.
Miura: During a plot meeting, scriptwriter Kazuharu Sato said, "Knowing Rin, wouldn't she have something up her sleeve?" The battle between Rin and Illya was wild. The concept of Illya creating familiars from her hair was Kinoko Nasu's idea.
Kondo: In terms of original elements and action, that incident was really tightly bound to the material.
>Hiroyama is a complete TM fanboy
Yes but Ilya is his favorite. Hiroyama's doujins won't lie. She's the main reason Priya exists, he did it for her.
For the battle scene between Rin and Ilya in the anime, did Ilya just get way stronger?! Was her strength based on 「Fate/Zero」? <UMA>
If it's at the land that houses the Holy Grail, then Ilya is indeed that strong. And being able to make a familiar from her hair was in the original draft. The work this time around was especially hard, so I ended up using an "Iri's replacement" approach. By the way, the name of the technique is Elfen Lied [German for Elves' Song, 天使の詩 - Angel's Poem]. The bird's name is Storch Fieseler [German term for a type of plane]. The Ibis that shoots bullets is Zahre (tear), and she can also transform them into an Épée (a sword).
Woah, that's the first I heard of that.
Yea, and it all sounded rather neat when I submitted it. Director Miura can create good results as long as I force everything upon him. Kinoko, remember this.
And I agree. I'm just saying that he isn't the kind of guy who only likes Illya and thinks Fate and/or the rest of the nasuverse is shit. But rather, the kind of guy who loves everything by Type Moon and thinks Illya is the best thing out of that
He only betrayed some fans
Nothing wrong with that
As long as it's for the right reasons, betrayal is OK
Pic related. Someone who was a traitor but was also best girl of her VN
>Same audience than FSN appeals to actually
>Manga betrayed it's fans. This is fact.
Top shitpost, bro
Unless you genuinely are retarded, in which case I am sorry for your condition
>not the same audience as Fate
Illya haters destroyed by Nasu. Nice.
>If people die it's grimderp
>If the main character is a young male it's shonen
You sound like a refined anime connoisseur who had watched well over 20 different anime series in his life
I concede victory to you in this argument
On the subject of「UBW」, regarding Heroic Spirits, have you two visited historical landmarks with a connection to those Heroic Spirits? For example, going to Great Britain and visit King Arthur? <Hiro>
Actually, last year I had visited Great Britain while collecting materials for a certain project. I did stop by the visit, thanking him for taking care of me for the last 10 years, and to apologize for doing whatever we want with his appearance and story. There you have it.
Glastonbury is a great place, you have to go at least once.
>giant monsters eating people alive in post apocalyptic world
>including MC's mother
>little girl raped by worms for years
>edgy faggot ripping out little girl's heart
Yeah dude, no grimderp anywhere.
I really want a series about mages doing mage things. Illya vs Rin or Kayneth vs Kiritsugu are so much better than DBZ like servant fights.
Fight with Alice in Mahoyo was absolutely amazing.
Lunar Legend Tsukihime complete manga (v1-v10)
regardless of whatever words may come after, I don't want to read the words thank god she died
You seem to have a grave misunderstanding of what makes something edgy.
It's not that horrible things happen to people. It's how the world and the characters react to horrible things happening.
Fate/Stay Night is a story about struggling with heroism and finding a way to make it work. The fact that Mind of Steel is a bad end is a perfect example of how Fate is an idealistic story. Even in the grimmest, darkest route, Shirou isn't supposed to kill people, he's supposed to save them.
Can't wait for 3rei official art.
>Implying it ever stopped
You must be new here.
>not liking both the chuuni battles and the loliservice
Reminder that a loli a day keeps the normies away.
Well they went with those voices for Ruby and Sapphire in the first place because they were Kohaku and Hisui's voices, so if they do find a new seiyuu for Hisui, they would most likely also cast her for Sapphire if she sounds like Hisui enough
If she's under 15 she's a loli. Also bodytype.
>If she's under 15 she's a loli
I want Prisma Len. Or a Melty Blood anime at least.
Japan ain't give a fuck.
Enjoy your jojo and nurushit posters.
A man can dream.
And now we don't have Hisui. Fucking morons.
She has a couple of lines in Melty Blood. Both Lens are voiced by Kaori Mizuhashi.
How could I forget that
it's been so long with Melty Blood
>Prisma fighting game before a more general Type-Moon fighting game
Len is the heroine of Kagetsu Tohya. White Len is the antagonist of the original Melty Blood arcade mode. Miyako is pretty irrelevant.
never mind for reading comprehension
