Osomatsu will probably realize that even though he feels bad about the whole moving out thing, he has to let it go for his brothers' happiness, very much like he helped Jyushi with AV-chan even though he was jealous. I have no clue how are we supposed to get back to the status quo in a satisfying way, though, I just don't want them pulling a 'It was all a dream!' stunt.

Assuming there is an S2 (which I can't see not happening, Osomatsu prints money), I'd like them all to go live at Choro or Totty's apartment, have the same general structure of S1 but have them not be NEET (but still do shit like the Kerosene and Mahjong episodes) and just involve them working at various things.

Hopefully Jyushi, Totty, Ichi, and Oso can pull it together a bit more. Jyushi is absolutely not in a safe work environment.

Her episode was pretty critical to Jyushimatsu's character development but tone-wise it hasn't fit anything else in the show except for the current episode. I remember people wondering why she wasn't in Iyami Kart, as if watching her get blown up by the Final Dayon would have been fitting or good for her character.

I think they left her alone just because she was so meaningful that bringing her back in gag episodes wouldn't be good.

Osomatsu and Totoko deserve each other desu. They're both shitty, spiteful, greedy, and vindictive. Deep down they want everyone to love them but don't want to act in a way deserving of it. Which, typically, has made them two of the funniest characters on the show.

What kind of job was Juice in exactly? Also how is Totty affording that apartment?

This episode hit hard because nobody is really happy even though they're "moving forward". You can tell half of them were not ready for solo life at all, Ichimatsu is dying, Osomatsu is depressed and bitter, Jyushimatsu is working in a clearly dangerous environment, and Todomatsu really can't live alone.

I think even Choromatsu seems unhappy. Karamatsu is the only one who seems like he's actually fully embraced this life. Being able to live with Chibita who is probably one of the genuinely good people on the show probably helps.

Looks like Jyuushi was in some sort of manual labor, probably in a warehouse. Unskilled labor hired en-masse with group orientations usually don't require much beyond being able to walk and breathe at the same time, but the jobs themselves can be quite dangerous and are often physically demanding.

I'm still a dependent so I'm not really working to survive, just for spending money. I suppose I like it since it's easy work that keeps my mind away from other anxieties and it keeps me talking to people and getting out of the house, but if I were paying for my meals and rent I'd probably hate working part time minimum wage. The worst part is having to wait till six on mondays to catch the new Osomatsu-san episode.

OnoD's voice is so handsome, especially the one he uses for Juice.

I'm not really a fan of this development. Not because I'm upset about the episode or anything, but because the drama kind of seems tacked on for the last couple of episodes. I can't say that nothing has changed about the characters since we got to see a lot of different sides to them, and I can't say they didn't try to get jobs before, but at the same time it didn't really feel like 24B would have happened at this point in time. The episodes, no matter how comedic or dramatic, never really felt like they stuck, and that everything just bounced back afterwards aside from a couple of references. But then suddenly, this bomb shell happens in the last 1/6 of the run.

It just feels like some LNs that pretend to have a plot near the end.

Not saying the episode is bad or anything, but it kind of feels like that.

I think there's two things going on. It would be nice if they did show a more tender side to Oso than "horribly lonely, can't deal with the situation, lashes out at everyone and pushes them away" in the next ep, and I feel like that's what they were setting up with re: Osomatsu receiving Choro's letter at the end of the ep, but we'll see.

I want to see Osomatsu cry, since he's the only character (apart from Ichi, I think) that we haven't seen cry in earnest.

Quick Google reveals this pertains to the "Sacred Dirt of Kōshien" where members of a losing team in baseball take the dirt from the hallowed grounds of Kōshien home as a memento.

Since Jyushimatsu "lost" because he didn't reach 80m, he's scooping up dirt as a memento of this loss (whether or not they held this on that specific stadium, no one knows).

Well I feel like shit this episode brought me down and I never got WD Jyushi or Kara. Fuck you Totty you piece of shit always getting in the way.

I've been wondering this for months, thanks for being the one to solve the mystery for me anon.

Jyushimatsu, of course, marries his girlfriend from that episode, becomes a minor-league baseball player, and they both live a happy and comfortable life.

Ichimatsu would get a job at a kennel, meet a girl like him, and turn two negatives into a positive, if you catch my drift.

Karamatsu will marry a wealthy CEO, who will later file for divorce because he spent half of her income on sunglasses and leather jackets. However, he will still get half of everything in the divorce and live the rest of his life comfortably as a womanizer.

Choromatsu ends up becoming an agent to an up and coming idol, who will eventually marry him.

Todomatsu will most likely end up as a male fashion model and will most likely get into a relationship with another model.

Then the very last one, Osomatsu, will start with him waking up in a now majorly empty bed roll. Its raining outside. For the most part, all there is to hear is the raindrops hitting the roof as he starts a rather quiet morning routine. He then puts on his hoodie and goes out for a walk. He goes to the fishing hole. Empty. He grabs a coffee from a café . The café is, for the most part, quiet. He passes by a batting cage. Seemingly deserted. He passes by a pet shop and looks at a seemingly bored cat, who looks back to him. Eventually, he stops in his tracks, and starts to tear up a bit. Then, a hand reaches out to him, offering an umbrella. It's Totoko. He wipes off his tears, they exchange smiles, and walk out of shot together in the rain.
