>Nyaa-chan gets married to some rich guy >Totoko contemplates his life and fucks off to Singapore>Choromatsu gets a job >Osomatsu acts like a faggot >Karamatsu amd Jyushi get serious >Totty sets the example and moves away >Oso rejects Totoko >Ichi is a hobo
What the fuck, I mean, on one hand I'm happy almost all of them are getting their shit together, but something feels off.
Also Nyaa-chan a shit. A SHIT.
I'm guessing they didn't realize that the show would get so popular so they've basically written themselves into a corner, they could end the series next episode, or they could keep going for another season to see how it goes
>Also Nyaa-chan a shit. A SHIT.
I don't give a fuck how she truly acts. She's too cute to be a shit.
He'd have fucking fainted from starving if the couple from christmas didn't offer him a lunch.
Now he's alone yet again.
What i wonder the most is his intentions: i don't think they are going with the attempted suicide route, especially since he was staring at the moon in wonder and because of the whole "6 matsus under the same moon" scene.
However, what the fuck will he do? Hobo Ichi?
First 60's ED was about Iyami, and the second was an instrumental version of the second opening. If anything, I can see an episode about them reuniting and them singing either the first OP or the Ondo in celebration.
>If the six of us work together, we can do anything!
>Full of life, we are mighty sextuplets!
I really hope its ends/starts season 2 with all of the matsus moving in to an apartment together, but still having jobs and taking responsibilities. They don't need to be NEETs anymore, but there can still be comedy with the brothers and their tasks at home and at their jobs.
I don't get it
Did he hate living with Oso that much he'd become homeless? I don't think his parents would be happy he left if he left to become homeless
Too much of a cop out, I'd be disappointed. If he's gonna get a CEO's daughter it should be through his neet charm not pity
Both Ichi and Jyushi seem to be in really dangerous situations so I doubt they will be left like that, and not to mention Totty is completely miserable by himself.
I wonder how this will get fixed
Is no one going to comment on Choro's l-lewd appearance in the first skit?
He couldn't take the atmosphere anymore.
Also in Esp Nyanko episode, he said that he doesn't need anyone else as long as he has his brothers. Now he doesn't really have them, so he has nothing left. He doesn't care about anything at this point.
One could say Ichi had
I just want my matsu's to be stupid shitty NEETs again.
>Did he hate living with Oso that much he'd become homeless?
no, it wasn't hate at all.
I think it was more fear, his brothers all moved on and left him behind, so he forced himself out of the house to change his lifestyle
Well, imagine sharing the same room with someone who is angrily quiet 24/7 and ready to punch you the moment you say or do something that makes him snap.
I love Oso but I don't blame Ichi for running away.
I mean it in that they are finally seriously trying to stop being NEETS.
Oso is still stuck, though I find hilarious Totoko being the first one of them to come back. She literally fucked off to another country.
Imagine taking in homeless Ichi off the street.
You feed him and give him a warm place to sleep, show him kindness and patience. He has become a papmpered house cat, like a spilled pet.
But slowly, you begin to gently hint at the expectation that he provides payment for your continued generosity. He can't stay for free, after all. But no, you don't want money. You do not pressure him about work at all, rather you encourage him to remain in your home.
Slowly but surely you begin to groom him to become your personal sex slave.
I didn't expect it to hurt this much, /a/
I'm not saying it's the same situation but Jyushi is obviously not working on a safe environment
Watch. Next episode is going to start with Osomatsu starting to come to terms with living alone, but when he is just about to, his brothers show up and everything goes back to the way it was. Cue OP.
>hating the bodysuits
I'm glad that Nyaa-chan turned out to be a bitch.
>tfw IT engineering student
We're all gonna make it brahs
Well, it's 1AM here and all i want to do with my life is talk about a comedy cartoon and the feelings about it.
Grant me peace anons, hybernate me till next monday or something, the more i watch the episode the shittier i feel for them.
Seriously, there's NO ONE, not even Iyami, happy about this, i hate seeing them so miserable, it hits too close to home.
>Seriously, there's NO ONE, not even Iyami, happy about this
Nyaa's pretty elated
I mean they are assholes to eachother but thats not even funny
It was obvious ever since the boat scene.
He is an insecure asshole not a monster, anon. That would be unforgivable.
I fucking love what they did with her.
Smug bitch Nyaa-chan is best Nyaa-chan
If you saw your coworker with 5 other plates filled with food and cups filled with drinks and they're talking and laughing to no one, you wouldn't be concerned or frightened by it?
I can relate anon, damn the feels
all my friends are moving forwards with their life and I'm the faggot that spends the night talking about chinese cartoons on a chinese board
Hey there Eurofag. We're in the same time zone.
Seems like you didn't notice that Oso never actively tried to stop the brothers from leaving.
Of course, he wasn't happy about it and passively put pressure on them, but he never took action to stop them.
With all of the purefags and waifu-havers on HERE that have never known the touch of a woman; this makes me wonder if otaku in Japan would even get why it's funny that she has a fishy smell.
>No fighting over the ones with cream filling
>people were laughing about how much of a fatass he is
>now they want to feed him
It's your guys fault he's starving himself, don't even try to deny it.
He probably still has money saved up from the part time jobs. I don't think they ever stated he was fired. Of course when I saw him move out. I thought he was living in the same apartment complex with Choro. So I kep thinking he was debating if he should ask Choro to take him to the bathroom.
>Ichi would rather starve on the streets than go back to Oso's toxicity
Why is Oso such a shit?
With what we know, what do you predict for next week? Do you think we'll be renewed for another season? Or would you rather have it end by the next episode?
I'm thinking that Choromatsu wrote that he wanted someone (Oso) to stop him.
From what it seems like how it's being set up, the letter will spur Osomatsu into action, mirroring EP 2 (technically the first) where he's looking his brothers, but this time trying to get them back together instead of looking for someone to play with. It seems like the most obvious route to go though, there are lot of ways the next episode can play out.
I'm simultaneously hoping and dreading that this might be the last episode we'll ever have. If they can maintain a certain level of quality, I'd be fine for the show going on forever like Gintama has, but it might be better for it to end properly. I'm looking forward to next week with a heavy heart.
>I wish Nyaa-chan had more screentime!
>I wish Osomatsu got an episode!
>I wish I knew what Karamatsu looked like when he gets pissed!
>I want to see what would happen if the brothers left home!
One wish left. Don't fuck it up.
I love Oso and I want him to be happy.
Also, it's a comedy. There's so much more shit that could be used and a million different skits to be written, why end it here for the sake of a serious story and everyone moving on? It's not regression, none of these characters are real or have feelings, who gives a fuck if they go back to being NEETs.
I almost thought Kara was masturbating when he threw that crumpled piece of paper. It ruined the mood for me.
I wish she would come back.
>Ichi can only find happiness in
I hate myself for thinking he was fapping at first
I thought that Choro's letter was what he started the skit off reading out loud, but that was addressed to everyone while at the end, Mom specifically said it was for Oso.
I hope he didn't just send that first one off and just address it to Oso. I don't even know what to expect for next week, whether they'll go back to status quo or not. I really want a season 2, but depending on how this season ends, it may or may not be fitting.
I wish we get an unsatisfying, disappointing ending
sounds about right
He'll end up sacrificing himself so that all the Matsus end up being happy,
but it won't work, it will make Oso finally lose once and for all his brothers.
Accept it anon, you took a ticket to the pain train.
And it's a never-ending ride.
Anyone who thinks this won't get a second season is delusional. We'll probably get closure to today's episode and an announcement at the end about the next season being planned. Even if Pierrot hates money and doesn't make another season there will be at least an OVA or two, possibly a movie. But with how popular the show is it'd be crazy to not make another season.
Hopefully it ends with Oso starting to get his act together and the brothers still getting together for shenanigans. At the minimum I hope Choro keeps his job- one of the brothers has to grow up. At the risk of getting too bloggy, it'd be nice if Choro gets his life together and keeps it together as an example of what his brothers can do if they want to. It'd feel good for the audience too I think. Having a total reset would feel worse than them all continuing down separate paths.
the implication you're making is that she's dead, which she is not
I've read the story, the moral is to be careful what you wish for, not "You're not allowed to be specific" the couples son came back fucked up because the specifically wished for himto came back like he was just before he died, and he happened to be mangled pile of flesh before he died
Oh god anon, i don't want to move on.
It hurts to stay and sperg about children cartoons, but i'm too attached to all this to let it go.
Making the best of our lives i see, but i can't sleep anyway, that's what engaging media does to me. I hoped watching a gag anime was a safe bet, and instead here are the fucking feels yet again.
Good end: The brothers all move in together by themselves and learn/help each other adjusting to adult life. Second season continue with wacky comedy about them still kind of being on the bottom of society's caste as entry-level workers/part timers and virgins but they're taking the first steps forward
True End: Osomatsu learns to deal with reality, understand that things won't be the same again. Brothers have difficult time living apart but they eventually manage and they start living their own lives only seeing each other every once in a while in family reunions. No more new seasons.
Bad end: Status quo reset for any reason. Nobody learns anything, the end.
I wish they all reconcile and it ends with them living together in Choro or Totty's apartment and have jobs. Don't go back to the parents house as NEETs again. These are the only two possible endings anyway, obviously no one is going to die.
Well yeah, but to be fair, Oso shares part of the blame also. They were all going to leave eventually but if Oso hadn't been so angry at them it would've been less sad. Also Ichi would've probably stayed by his side.
>the last episode can't be as good as Iyami Kart
What else could they even reasonably pull at this point?
Pretty much it has them go through little scenarios and they're asking if he'd still love them if if they split up and [insert other situations here] (they're all little things though, like if Ichi became a cat or something).
It ends with Oso saying he'll love them and be their big brother forever and always, no matter what.
It's breddy cute.
Too late. You fucking killed Ichi.
I guess his deal is that "as long as i have my brothers, i'm fine". Not to mention he said to his mom that he doesn't feel the need to live at the family's home, but he has no clue what will happen to him with no one to look after him.
Guess what, he's starving to death.
Now he doesn't have his brothers, he has a passive-aggressive Oso at home, and he prefers living on the street rather than staying with him.
>Choro's fault for wanting to move on and live on his own.
It was bound to happen eventually. Did you expect them to remain NEETs forever?
He is their lord and savior.
>Butthurt Chorofags trying to turn Oso into the new Choro
Give it up, It's not gonna happen.
Yes. I don't want realism in my anime about 6 cute NEETs. I don't want them to change.
I just came home from an exhausting day, bouncing happily at the thought of the new episode.
I wasn't ready.
hold me /a/
Choro moving out to stand on his own is not a valid reason for Oso to act the way he did. People can feel whatever they want in response to anything that happens; it's how they react that gets judged. In this case, however sympathetic Oso's situation and feelings might be, he was out of line.
They'll make up in the last episode anyway so it's not really worth arguing about.
You don't really have any siblings, do you?
By the way, Oso's smile will return, I have high hope for the last episode.
We managed to protect his smile, anon, trust me, just trust me.
>Not to mention he said to his mom that he doesn't feel the need to live at the family's home, but he has no clue what will happen to him with no one to look after him.
oh right, that happened
Now we know, I guess
Ichi is finally weak enough to put that mask into actual use.
He's kinda cute like that
I was glad they were the ones Ichi bumped into cause they were the ones Ichi had social interaction aside from his brothers and that one job application thing.
Now you're making me think about the song Landslide and it fits pretty well with this episode
Good end happens as you said, but next season pulls a Fresh Prince and they all go back to being NEETs. Everything happens offscreen, and they only make a couple of references to it.
I'm trying to feed him, but he keeps shitting on my tables!
>Other Chileans here
I did not need this kind of revelation.
The funny thing is that there are, like, 3 karabita shippers, and all on tumblr. (seriously, find me Karabita's jap numbers)
Let them rejoice before the Matsus go back under the same roof.
Ichi will die. But his soul will choose to go back in time, the time when he was happiest, and he will be at cour 1 first episode. Juicy who loves Ichi wants to be with him too and wants to be in a time when Ichi'd love him, but since he already loves his gf he'll go back in time before Ichi is born, and become his father.
Was not ready for this shit, goes from farting idols and kicking a rich arab out of a window at the Burj Al Arab to Matsus actually beating up each other. I hope they all turn out alright.
I can't tell if I like Kara or Juicy the most.
Seems right about every-day indipendence, but emotionally speaking it's:
It's clear that Oso needs his brothers the most, either for his selfish desires of eternal neetdom or because he truly cares about them.
Mark my words, Oso will be top tier again after he recovers his usual smile next episode. You fuckers better get ready.
But dude, at this point, ranking doesn't mean anything now since I came to accept and love Choro, Juicy and Totty as they are.
Both are good and also my favourites. Just go with your gut anon.
Ichi helped them fuel their relationship they are practically family.
This episode makes me want to hug my sibling.
Even if we're no where near as close as the Matsus. ;_______;
>Juice and Kara are my favorite Matsus
>Get shitted on for it for weeks
>everyone suddenly loves them
Oh god, tonight's the night the ghosts of my past feels-obsessions media come to haunt me, isn't it.
Pun pun was kinda babby's first psychological drama, but it still hit fucking close.
Now Osomatsu, my delightful escapism, has gone full reality crushing on my face.
This. Best matsu.
Shame we never got that Kara ep but at least we got this.
For Juice, it's for the reason he had that vulnerable baby brother face going on after he got kicked, even the 'babiest' or the youngest Totty was surprised when he got kicked hard. It was like watching a puppy getting kicked or something.
What are you talking about? Kara's one of the most loved characters on /a/.
It's not quite the same without sound but here, Anon.
Are you me? I literally didn't hang out with friends because of my obsession with osomatsu's derived feelings.
I guess this much attachement is unhealthy though, how do we deal with it?
>Now Osomatsu, my delightful escapism, has gone full reality crushing on my face.
This was supposed to be my healing anime of the season to get me through Mondays. Now I just feel empty.
I think I'll go rewatch Yuyushiki.
I want to protect that smile forever.
every time Jyushi was smiling I cried like a baby, I want to hug him and tell him that everything will be ok.
For a few threads any mention of Kara at all resulted in "KARAFAGS REEEE," even if it was a reasonable, non-blogpost.
He ranked first in the last
M-My heart couldn't take it. I just want to run up to him and hug him at that moment.
>yfw this show will have a Panty and Stocking ending
I really can't decide, Kara reminds me of my own brother in a few ways (always has been there for me, is painful at times), but Juicy is sort of the younger brother I never had that I want to protect and watch him grow. I don't even watch much anime anymore but I ALWAYS pick the ones that end up giving me the feels.
I haven't finished Pun Pun yet, I need to pick it back up again. I can't handle too many feel faucets at once though.
I personally think it would be fucking hilarious if the next episode just reset continuity and went back to random comedy hijinks and never mentioned or followed up on this episode again.
The fact that he kept smiling despite being terrified made it even worse.
I hope Osomatsu apologizes.
He quit, according to his Six Shame ending. Crunchyroll's translation makes it seem ambiguous if he was quit or fired, but it was the former. He probably couldn't take it much longer, or he moved to some other job later behind the scenes before this episode.
But you know on the positive side, the next episode will be a full 24 min episode dedicated to this development. And the creators have always found a way to tastefully surprise and go beyond expectations so it's not all bad.
Considering how fucking painful this episode was, I fucking know for sure that the next episode is going to be soul mending on a whole new level.
I just wish I didn't have to wait a full week for it.
He cried and felt guilt and regret after Kara dragged him outside. Beating the shit out Juicy while trying to settle his inner conflict with Choro actually leaving. Bet Kara gave Oso a hug.
>everyone else follows
Except Ichi. They have no way to contact him, he won't know everything is fine now.
He will starve on the street and the other Matsus will think he's just being a little bitch.
>24 minutes of angst
I don't know if I'll be able to take it.
They can't fucking move on.
Ichi can not live alone. Jyushi can probably not get a good job. Totty is scared and sad without his big bros.
How the hell do you want them to 'move on'?
What if we get a TDLOHB ending where
it was all a dream
Nyaa-chan is dead for all her followers once that she anounced that she will be married, she will never be an idol again because of that.
She will not have anymore followers, I bet all her fans quit her and find another cute idol to follow.
If that were the case Oso'd have dealt with his sense of loss and would have not continued with his bitchy behaviour, or at least Kara would have been there for him.
It's clear Kara just got fucking mad about Oso being violent to his family, and hoped to beat some sense into him.
love the normal Jyushimatsu voice, sadly we will not hear him anymore
Kara > Jyushi > Oso > Ichi = Totty > Choro
Blazing Saddles ending
Halfway through the episode the brothers get randomly pissed at the development team and invade Pierrot offices to force the writers into an ambiguous happy ending that allows for a S2
Totty has always been cute
I liked this episode. I felt like I could feel Oso's suppressed pain and sadness.
Hopefully he'll become honest with himself about his brothers in the last episode.
Current ranking assuming that they will redeem Osomatsu next ep
Kara > Totty > Ichi > Jyushi > Oso > Choro
I like everyone though, even Choro is kind of likeable through his shittiness
Osofags on suicide watch.
Niisan isn't so based anymore.
>This is my personal hell right now: surviving till the next episode
You can listen to funny podcasts. The biggest problem in the universe is good. Keep it on as you sleep so your thoughts won't eat you away.
Jyushimatsu's voice is handsome. I love how in this video, his seiyuu still has kind of a dopey laugh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Efbj5BTIQOA
What? He's more based than ever. He's not defaultmatsu anymore.
Not such a bad idea actually, especially since my mind always goes back to osomatsu right now, i guess it's natural given the purposefully feels-heavy episode.
Thanks anon, see you in a week if i make it alive. Let's hope it's not the final nail in the coffin instead.
My heart fucking hurts, I pray this will end on a happier note for every Matsu
I don't get why people are mad at Choro. First you guys hated him for not actually trying. Once he finally tries people hate him for actually going through with it.
Was someone able to translate Kara's job application?
another free 40 diamonts in the game
apologise for the feels maybe?
Oso is legitimately the one being despised right now.
And even if he's in a shitty light now hos fans should be happy that he actually got character development, and not a shitty one either, Default-matsu my ass.
No one should ever be allowed to hate on Ichi or Kara.
She started off being her usual self, thinking only of herself, she literally says she wants to date him because her previous plans didn't work and she felt homesick.
That last look she gives at him could actually mean a bit more involvement next episode, or at least genuine concern about Oso.
You might be right. He is trying and i hope he will keep trying the next episode.
Since she was away she wouldn't know what happened. But it was such a good opportunity too for Oso, sadly.
