What are some good anime books? Not Light novels but real books like Vampire Hunter D and LoGH. Taking this to /lit/ would be pointless.
I'm looking for ones that have been fully translated to english or are in the process. If there is a better thread for this then please redirect me.
>anime books
You mean like flicker books?
>>138916496
No. I mean books like LotR or Moby Dick. Pages with words and shit
Just go read actual literature, you dumbdumb.
>>138916185
Anything made by Murakami or Osamu Dazai.
>>138916674
So light novels? Kek
>>138916674
Even manga has pages with words you'll have to try a bit more than that
>>138918319
book series that get turned into anime
>>138916185
>I want books about anime characters
>With no pictures
>With only words
Those ARE light novels. I'm sure you can try this in /lit/ if you don't mention anime.
>>138916185
Do you even know what light novels are.
>>138918784
Novellas
>>138918719
Are there Light Novels with no illustrations? I haven't read any as of yet
>>138918859
What do you have with the occasional picture here or there? If you want to read an actual novel from Japan, you might want to start practicing your moon.
/a/ is a bit retarded. If the book was never given an anime or manga, it'll be just a regular novel. It doesnt really make changes after it got an anime. Sadly for OP if you want to read atcual none light novel tier craps you are going to learn moon. You can still try to read No Longer Human right now though

I'm not OP I was just curious. I'm aware novels themselves might have no pictures but I thought Light Novels as a subset always had them
>>138918719
There is a difference in writing style with light novels and normal books. Vampire hunter D is a normal book series, not a light novel series that was adapted into an anime.

Take it to /jp/
>>>/jp/
>>138919236
I'm sure that'll go over well.
