They are not a BAD studio. They are a CHEAP studio. There is a difference. DEEN is where you get what you paid for. A "Bad" studio is when you pay them 2.5 million US dollars for 1 cour and still get crap quality. We don't know how much Deen charges, but it must be lower than the 2.5 million going rate.

That Higurashi fight wasn't "bad" in the sense that it was a low-effort scene by some random animator. Seiya Numata animated that and he's a pretty good animator, the fight has got some energetic movement. Not sure why the animation supervisor gave him free reign to draw the characters as he pleased though.
