I used to have a friend who I would talk about anime on MSN Messenger with.

Alright dude, kind of awkward. The only reason I even knew him was because some asshole on Runescape pretended to be his girlfriend for a few years and the three of us would skill grind together. After that, Runescape kind of left him with a bad scare, so we just kept in touch on MSN.

A few years back, maybe 2013, MSN messenger was getting discontinued. I tried to get him to switch to Skype or something else. That was our only point of contact with each other. Last thing he said to me was:

We said our good-byes and uninstalled that day. To both of us, the only reasons we even had MSN Messenger was to chat with each other.

So, actually last year, around this time, his sister found me on Facebook and told me that he died in a drunk driving accident. He was on the sidewalk just walking back from the store when it happened.

His favorite anime was Great Teacher Onizuka. He wanted to be a teacher just like Onizuka.
He loved Dragon Ball and One Piece.
Nami was his waifu.
Pretty shit taste otherwise, but he as a true bro.
