You don't even know the backstory. The producer and Omori wanted to make more but Brains Base was being retarded with their Otome shit as usual so they both begged Aniplex and Dengeki Bunko for some money to make more seasons. They wanted to adapt the remaining 10 novels and it's clear that's a lot of money so they had to make do with what they had and even establish their own studio because Brains Base is full of fags. It's sad but inspiring at the same time.

This season looks better than the first two and if you watch the BDs they fixed a lot of stuff. It doesn't really matter much anyways since it was still a watchable show and DRRR was never really about animation too much. The BB season wasn't particularly well animated either.
