Every single arc has been rushed in the anime. They either changed some key moments that give Kyouma a little more character or they removed them completely. Sure, he's still the same plain protag but at least those small moments makes you care for him.

The beginning of the anime was ok, which is just the first two episodes, but everything after it doesn't feel right at all. The spooky mansion episodes shattered my last hopes of the anime being decent since they just cut to the chase without building any suspense. They decided to make the anime more action oriented but they can't even deliver that.

At the very least they did a good job with Mira, it would be really hard to fuck that up. But they toned down the physical robot abuse and I was looking forward to some wholesome robobullying. The harsh words are there but they remove quite a lot of physical abuse. That's just some personal preferences but it really bothers me.

However, I don't understand why would anyone hate it. Sure, the show is bad and I don't have an issue with anyone mocking it, but it isn't that offensive. It's just another failed adaptation that very few will remember.
