Give me a reason why Mary is better than Yume.
I bet this episode they will fight Mary's zombie teammate and then next episode for Death-spot.
In LN it's they fight zombie teammate then immediately a Death-Spot battle, but i think that would be too congested for anime.
A month ago i remember some anon said "what if the bonus LN in BD volume 1 is about Goblin?"
Well you know what, it's real, it's about a SoL of Goblin group and ends with killed by MC team.
Not a blaring retard.
doesn't go off on random non sequiturs
Merry is the author's waifu in which Momonji made Manato as a plot device/sacrificial lamb to introduce her.
He also made the point to introduce two other girls and did not develop them just to showcase how superior his waifu is.
Truly a Merry sue that belongs to garbage bin.
I swear the Russians are writing better LN's then this, and they blatantly rip off everything
Just listened to the Survival Quest Audiobook
standard mmorpg setup, MC is a lvl 1 noob in a state run VR prison. mining copper ore for the man, 8 year jail sentence, prisoners have no pain filters on their character, escape is impossible, he has to pay 100,000,000 game gold to leave VR, it's the Russian legal system so he was basically setup for incarceration, and is now pretty much slave labor. Book 1 ended with him getting paroled and having access to standard game locations
Tfw her pissed off look kinda turns me on
What the fuck is wrong with me
The only big reason that people are hating on Mary is because she has an emotional baggage, and it shape to how she has become. Also, she has an attitude that actually, you know, shows she isn't a retard. /a/ hates that.
Yume, while she does have some baggage to her as well due to Manato, does not run that deep as hers. But that doesn't mean she's inferior in a way. She's good in her own way.
Also the deep-seated anger among people here that she's the author's favorite. Just because there are new girls in the coming LNs to not develop into what you expected doesn't mean he's actually saying Mary is better. It sometimes just means they aren't as important as you deem them to be.
It's like you guys never read books or something.
They're all great you want to dislike Mary due to how distant and annoying she can be but she has this fucking innocence about her.
The part where she's on the balcony in sandals stroking that cat looking pure as ever, Oh my god.
>It's like you guys never read books or something.
>doesn't mean he's actually saying Mary is better. It sometimes just means they aren't as important as you deem them to be.
If the author is deemed Yume and Shihoru are not as important as that garbage Merry, is the same is saying that the garbage is better than them.
Why didn't you include this part of what I said.
> Just because there are new girls in the coming LNs to not develop into what you expected doesn't mean he's actually saying Mary is better.
Why cherry pick you stupid fuck?
Also I said books. Meaning real fucking books.
Why cherry pick again?
Goddamn retards. Can't even fucking read. Only picking parts.
And that garbage Merry is from a LN, not a book. You stupid cunt.
Also, pray tell in what way the author did not tell that the trash is not better from the two girls introduced earlier.
Are you going to say that Yumizuru wrote that Houki is not better than the rest of the girls?
Yeah I'm done.
It's obvious you don't actually want to provide an argument about it. You ignored everything I said, cherry picked lines that suit what you want to reply on.
No point in going further into this with that kind of behavior or reasoning.
I dont understand this forced fanbase shitposting.
Both Yume and Merry are lovely.
>has a raging boner
you're not the only one mate.
I want to barbara her barbarass
And you're the first one posting >>138862505
Did you provide any argument?
You're just trying to say Merry is not a garbage as she is not the author's favorite, when it is clearly that she is his.
You are also saying that it is okay for Shihoru and Yume not getting development, as they are not important anyway.
In trashy materials like LNs, "not important" is the same as being a rock or not existing at all.
Perhaps, what you're actually wanted to say is that Grimgar is different from the wish-fulfillment media that LNs have spiraled into, as it is not. Clearly Haruhiro is Momonji's self insert, and you know the rest.
Try giving Merry's songs to Komatsu or Terui, you'll hear the better singers. Too bad the characters they're voicing is not Merry.
Ep 11 summary seems to indicate Merry dead tea mates fight, but no mention of Ranta separating from the group, it may be skipped.
So far there was one short "spoiler" post on 2ch some hours ago but people aren't convinced. It's still a bit too early (although would be possible) for someone to get their hands in a copy, plus the person posted no pics nor did give many details.
Didn't Ranta get separated after the fight with Merry's teammates? or am I remembering things wrong?
I remember it being Merry's teammates -> running/ranta separated -> deadspot encounter
It was before, as they were running away for raising the kobolds alarm. Then they find Ranta again, fight Merry's companions. Deadspot comes right after fighting her companions.
>Mary started looking through Michiki’s leftover equipment. Haruhiro was tempted to ask her to heal those that needed it, but stopped himself. It was probably best not to disturb her while she was with the last remains of her precious friends, Michiki, Ogg, and Mutsumi.
>“It’s been a hard day,” Shihoru whispered.
>“Agreed,” Yume said, rotating her shoulders slowly.
>“We’re not out of this yet,” Haruhiro reminded them, careful not to make it sound like a reproach. “It’s better not to let our guards down until we’re back in Altana… not that I think we’ll run into any more trouble.”
>“We might,” Ranta snickered unpleasantly. “Who knows…”
>Haruhiro wished Ranta would quit it. It’s because he said stuff like this that trouble always found them. A chill suddenly ran down Haruhiro’s spine. He turned to look behind him.
>“De—” Haruhiro began.
The most daring outfit was Sassa in the novels, but too daring for the anime, probably.
Well if they 100% follow LN it will make episode 12 have 2 fights and that will kill A-1, also won't be fit for anime.
It's likely they make episode 11 fight Mary's teammate first then Death-Spot for episode 12.
I agree, it will probably end at the cliffhanger of seeing Deadspot just after beating Merry's companion. That way they could also fit the daybreakers creation on last episode if they want.
It's an axiom. Don't have to prove shit.
as bad as the pacing has been so far, I am going to be fucking incensed if they actually fucking skip Ranta's solo pigworm adventure
it's some of the only actual legitimate development his character even gets in the source material for fuck sake
With Merry's companions this ep, I think it's unlikely they will do it. Or it would have to be really short. They may instead have some other scenes showing he does actually care for him team despite what he said.
It is actually is, if you work at the places where they print it or has contact with someone who does. The reason people didn't believe the spoilers, and why it's probably fake was the lack of pics and following posts.
I need a priest to purify my dirty thoughts.
>if you work at the places where they print it or has contact with someone who does
In that case it's a crime and they can go to jail for it. No one takes that risk unless they're being paid to leak it.
>they're going to cut Ranta's separation scenes in favor of Merri getting closure
Bitches ruin every anime.
>skipping based ranta scene
I FUCKEN HATE ANIME MERRY
Move over faggots, now this is the real OTP
>upside down neck leg lock
My dick can only get so hard.
>saving the ingrate boyfriend again
And we all know you're a subject-matter expert on how to be a faggot. All those years of experience and miles of dick you've sucked have paid off.
Should have ended the episode with massive cliffhanger.
4 storyboard, 3 episode director, 24 animation director, 6 production assistant.
A-1 went fucking crazy in this episode right.
My favorite episode so far. It might have something to do with so much Ranta, Haru and Shihoru on it.
Bonus: the elusive Yume armpit.
It means there was way too much to handle and had to bring more people in.
So it can mean two things:
1) production went to shit and they just couldn't handle it
or 2) it looks a lot better than usual
In this case, it's the latter.
Maybe they will have it at ep 12, just needs to be a scene when it seems like a blow will kill him before someone else stop it. Hard to know. Souma and Renji's team scenes could be done on a second season, Choco's one wouldn't fit very well there though.
Basically, as they are running away,
Haruhiro is about to get killed and his life flashs before his eyes and he sees them (everyone that came to this world together with him) on a bus on a school trip. Ranta is also the one who saves him. This was also semi-important for Manato's character because that "I don't remember having many friends" could be shown here by having him be alone in the bus. Also, Haruhiro is sitting next to a girl who appears in volume 3 who he remember faintly.
>Souma and Renji's team scenes could be done on a second season
>on a second season
Ranta is also the one who saves him.
Haru confirmed for being worst friend ever.
Actually you're remembering it wrong. Check again on chapter 10, he is in a bus with people that seems familiar but he can't remember who and then Choco who he remembers the name at least. The people he can't recognize are other people he knew back there, not his party members.
If you want to have that theory it's your choice, but don't answer others as if it was certain spreading misinformation. Considering Haru quickly realize he may have met Choco before when seeing her, but never does that to the others, chances are very slim.
Embezzled for hookers and blow, of course.
It just means he remembers her better since he was closer.
It's perfectly believable since it could have been a "we all died and got sent to another world" scenario where the first 15 die right away and the others who come later die later from injuries.
At that point he was even aware of things on Grimgar, but actually not recognizing the people there on "some kind of vehicle" because they were not the people who were there on the bus.
Is your theory impossible? No, but very unlikely.
I'll wait here while you eat some beans, buttercup.
Volume 1 is already translated, that's the only thing that's out right now, don't think there's any scans for the magazine versions/if there's a digital one at all for just the chapters.
You're such a butthurt pleb, I'm gonna set it to download two more times just for you.
I don't know what's scanlated but yeah, I have the first volume. I'll get the next one when it comes out in a few days but I won't be able to rip it. Joker doesn't have digital release as far as I know and no one scans the physical one. There's someone in the scanlation thread that buys it every month but he doesn't scan. They also have a tool for digital ripping but won't share it. It's a good way to stimulate japanese learning and importing, I guess.
>five simultaneous downloads
>watching the episode at the same time
Feels good knowing you'll kiss my ass to kill you.
hahaha now this is the kinda banta ranta would love
Just shipped they together
Sorry, sweetcakes, busy watching the episode. When you catch up we'll chat...someday.
>subs say Ranta
Holy shit this guys saving everyone left right and centre
long live the king
>Carries big guys sword so he can jump across
>Picks up magetits
>Haruihro can't even return the favor
>He's flying solo
he's about to slaughter some Kobolds
Ranta's clearly the best boy
So let me get this straight. For however long it's been since Mary's party got wiped to today, nobody has bothered going down to the mines? Not even one party decided to farm there? Nobody wanted the glory and loot from killing Deathspots?
What the hell are they even doing all this time and where do they farm then?
Even if I don't particularly care about Mary that much, this scene was great.
That was a good show and this has been a good series altogether. Getting through those slow character developing moments make action episodes like this all the better.
Love the rock tracks they have going too.
Season 2 when?
It's nice seeing Ranta making an effort to be nicer to Shihoru, whether it be complimenting her during battle, or helping her up at this part.
Because Ranta asked him too, right now the PArty morale is so low that if they lose Hal too they will go shit, no matter how useless he is. Ranta is not the hero whe want but the hero we eserve, he could take it because he is .... a DARK KNIGHT.
What are they looking at?
What did he mean by this?
Ranta is a glass is always full kind of guy.
>Just tossing rubble from the scaffolding at them
Let's be fucking real for a second. If it was anyone else, they would probably already be dead.
>yfw no loot after undead
How course Fat Mage would like it, the girl is cock starved since Manato died, she is so starved that she even thinking about HAl, and we all know He is gayer than gayer than fruit dip in a rainbow..
In that party probably but not everyone is useless in this series. I can see members of Renji's party making it just like Ranta. No wonder Renji wanted to recruit him he's good.
I wonder if the anime having a big amount of gold as bounty for deathspot means they won't be able to get it (maybe they would have needed to bring the body or head to get it, but weren't in a position to do it), or it's because the anime never had an intention of having a season 2 so wanted to give them a bit more bright future at the end.
the wolf god is male and she takes the knot every night in her dreams
>MC gets mystic eyes of bullshittery
>noob party loses their healer and immediately finds another more competent one
Gee, ya think?
>by the time I'm done fighting my way through the whole kobold army and find you, I'm going to let my new pet pic related fuck your face while I claim that ass, so lube up
Do you agree?
That staff doesn't look like ash. Neither does his leather belt.
Going by their known skillset and techniques, that's a real long shot. They are full to the brim with attacks, and even their non-attacks are meant to set up attacks.
Their party formations also collapse the vast majority of the time and their group fighting devolves into a bar fight with every man for himself. They are hardly the ideal party.
Is there any good necromancy spell which would made them look as they were alive?
Then I could sell such a qt >>138868174 for millions.
Their bodies turned to ash.
You should read it as "Of Michiki, Og, Mutsumi only ash remained on the ground."
the "and all their equipment" is an addition to what is left on the ground but not ash.
From what I've read in the LN, someone commented on Ranta's fighting style saying that the party is holding him back since he has to be the 2nd tank instead of his own fighting style. They skipped it in this episode but he would 1vs1 the kobolds instead of the team play, probably to make himself stronger.
Haruhiro very mediocre outside of that one shot kill,
he copied Haruhiro's thief skill and instant killed one of those Kobolds when he is by himself.
I don't see why that wouldn't work. It's not like she's keeping anything else in there.
Is this joke really that powerful? Seems like something other demons would use as a soccer ball.
wasn't Ranta supposed to try to make others laugh?
We'll Grimgar seems to be a little bit of both but if I had to choose it would be fantasy.
I like this group of have-a-go warriors, shows get boing when there gokus
Thank you for the suggestions
Why do I have the feelings that every episode is a Yume fanservice episode?
he was just trying to crush her skull r-right?
>he copied Haruhiro's thief skill and instant killed one of those Kobolds when he is by himself.
Read better, he tried to copy but not very well he even lightly hurt himself and in the end he had to strangle it, he said that widow maker semms easy but in reality is not.
Get in line.
It actually reminded me more of something this guy would do.
The clergy is just your usual cashgrabbers.
Would be better if Shirou learned a fire spell and just burn the body that way.
She might get a little traumatized but I think it's worth the silver.
No idiot would join a party that let so many members die after some time.
>sell their burning services
Only if you make a really good price. Otherwise they'll go with official one.
>handy in combat
Not Shihoru's specialty. She excels in dark elementals.
In the LN is different, while Haru hold him she cast the spell and touch him with her palm and he started to crumble in Haru arms.
The embrace of the bodies is anime original, in the LN she cast the spell with her fingers.
>decent staff on floor
>nobody loots it in forever
Rate how cool Ranta was this episode.
This nigga's pretty handsome.
Ranta is so unappreciated.
And Haru is so felxible, he would propably be amazing in bed, my D can only get this hard.
He's unappreciated because he simply cannot drop his edge and just get along with his team. Aside from that, he's actually quite competent, possibly the most so out of his team. The only other character I feel is as solid as him is Mary. They both actually understand their roles, and refuse to do retarded shit just because the party are a bunch of idiots.
Haruhiro has been playing darksouls is see.
>stomp the floor
>point sword at the opposing enemies and make a last stand
Truly the best cliche.
Where did she get those shoes?
