To be honest it's hard to put a finger on it. Overall the whole thing just felt hamfisted with the villagers rising up and the gangsters showing up to Zabuza's final stand which felt cheesy as hell.

It's fine to like the Zabuza arc but every single other arc in part 1 was better.

It's a good arc but it wouldn't have been a good ending for the series.
Ending a bit after the rescue sasuke arc and making Orochimaru the final villain would've been better.

Shame it only went downhill after that arc.
