Seems like there's some kaiju-on-kaiju action going on.
You must be joking, how can one fuck up this badly. Imagine if Vurai returns in the third game how will they ever animate that if they decide to make an anime of the third game.
It's a real shame the director just fucked everything up so horribly. I liked the first season and the first cour of the second season, but the the decline in quality in the second cour has destroyed this show for me.
Waiting warmly for the Atlus localization announcement (which would be around summer months given their usual ~9 month delay)
>this whole fight
Why did I laugh?
In the game Vurai first fights Haku and his gang while being untransformed after beating him he attempts to transform just for the twins to attempt sealing him. Sealing fails they fight him while he is transformed and win again and they take Oshotoru's mask from him. Vurai later wakes up again retransformes goes on a rampage shouting Oshutoru. Oshutoru figures out Vurai is coming for him decides to fight him alone in the middle of nowhere.
>decides to fight him alone in the middle of nowhere.
That definitely makes more sense than flooding the damn capital.
I guess Oshutoru's leg got permanently broken (and that is why she was crying since she was even shown looking at his legs)since even Director s bullshits can not kill him off now.
Or maybe someone else comes and kills him.
Oshotoru transformes to fight Vurai so they don't duke it out untransformed. Nekone wanted to stay with her brother so she and Haku secretly followed him and watch from the side. Oshotoru gets beat up heavily so after a while Vurai intends to finish him however Vurai didnt know it was all part of Oshutoru's plan to catch him off guard and finish Vurai with one powerful attack. Nekone however doesn't know this and attacks Vurai with magic on the exact moment Oshutoru makes his move causing him to miss the attack. Vurai gets pissed off and shoots one of his big fireballs at Nekone, que Haku jumping in front of her to protect her, however Oshutoru blocks the blast with his body to shield them resulting in him having a hole in his body.Oshutoru then powers up even further and manages to beat Vurai who falls from a cliff.
Tearful reunion as Oshutoru is slowly turning into dust. He gives Haku the mask and tells him to protect the princess, he then says his final farewell and turns into dust. A few days later Nekone and "Oshutoru"show up at Ennakamui. Kuon asking where Haku is and he gives the fan and tells that Haku died protecting him from assassins Kuon nearly hits "Oshutoru" and decides to leave the party in order to go back home, while Haku hopes that Kuon notices that it is actually him pretending to be Oshutoru. Haku as Oshutoru then gives a rousing speach to the people of Ennakamui while Kuon is attacked by assassins herself only for them to die horribly she is then calmed down by Oboro who tells her she was in love.
>If mask users overuse their Gozilla forms and draw out too much powers they will turn into dust as a consequence of using that power.
How will Vurai survive then?He even got stabbed in heart and he too overused mask power. What the hell is director thinking.
So is this power similar to what the bird people do?
Anime original anon.
In the game he falls from a cliff into the water, he didnt overuse his mask powers like in the anime allthough he did have a large hole in his stomach while transformed though.
With this director I cant be sure as they already went anime original with Kuon suddenly using fire powers while protecting Anju. I understand its impossible to animate everything from the game, but most of the stuff we have scene is anime original. And imporant parts of the story were skipped such as the visiting the lab and the hot air balloon and other stuff.
Why doesn't Haku just take over Yamato?
He's the only one with a legitimate claim.
He cant prove shit cause he was too busy to clean up sewers to ask his brother to have Yamato know.
If he did it as soon as he got his memory back he could have even avoided war with Kuon s country.
Remake, if only. Just wait for an English release of the game which is more likely to happen.
He needs to prove his claim and the only who could potentially do that is Honoka who is missing in the game and didnt show up like in the anime. Plus there is the question how the people are going to take it. The people got to see Anju as the heir so how would they feel if suddenly they got told the Emperor has a younger brother who had amnesia who now will rule the country, plus Haku would have even more responsibilities as he also has to act as Oshutoru.
well that was a fucking train wreck
I hope the director gets canned
He does, well he could use them in order to grab power quickly however such a thing would definitly grab the attention of Tuskuru. What I can remember he has control of multiple Amaterasu sats.
Like the animal people know that. For all they know she is the Emperors daughter and heir to throne of Yamato. Can you blame them the emperor is seen as a god by its people, there wouldnt be anyone that wouldn't believe Anju is his daughter.
Haku's main issue in the third game will be to reunify the emperor so I'm quite interested how he will do it.
This is bizarrely high quality.
He was poisoned and they didnt show a body. Honoka was missing from the start so when Anju was poisoned and they found the poison in Oshutoru's room while Entia declared that she received the tea from Oshutoru they all thought Honoka and Oshutoru where working together. In the game Oshutoru receives the death penalty for killing the Emperor.
Killing Nekone that would be the easy way out for her. For her crime of killing her nii-san she should suffer especially as she has to support the one she has a crush on to play as her nii-san in public.
Tbf the director has been following the game plot is just that change or skip too much important shit. He can always put a boku dake and going full anime original in the last chapter but i dont so.
When is he coming back? There are more scrolls to be signed.
something seems off here.
Next week is final episode but you guys here don't sound too excited about it. I guess that's because I don't know the source material yet.
I mean, nonetheless we got a pretty average godzilla fight here, demonstration of flaming haku spirit, some On Ryuuka on-the-fly banishment that just instantly negate the entire fight of life-and-death and Oshutoru dead because he said one sentence too many.
I love this series to death and I've been waiting for Utaware2mono for the last six years, but fuck if this adaption doesn't rip my heart out. Its just so bad in every way shape and form. At least when the game gets translated in 5 years I can play it then. I hope the third game does really well, but I'm not to sure if I want' an anime adaption of it after this.
I honestly miss the first season.
Everything was so comfy, the pacing was godtier and nothing felt rushed or leftout. Ending had me bawling for sure. I am not sure if this can live up to that, yes the production budget is higher than first season (both course) but the stuff that is told here is only sub-par.
I'd still like an anime for the third game, but only if they wait a couple years to release it and sack the director. He clearly doesn't give a shit, which is a damn shame because this franchise has some of the most fascinating lore.
It's because the dumb director literally had no idea what the fuck he was doing and filled his holes with dumb humor and stupid plot holes. I honestly wouldn't mind rushing anymore like 1st season, as long as it doesn't get filled with shitty filler like this piece of trash adaption.
I do, /a/ threads are just shit and not even worth visiting because of the autists who haven't even played the game complaining about changes, S1 shitposters, and people who want to ride the shitposting wave.
It's fine the mask moved in the end, AND they're now by cliffs. Vurai and Oshutoru will have a rematch next episode where Vurai will have his ambiguous falling death.
You retards need to calm down
So how do they explain Haku being able to block Vurai's attack and being able to withstand the fire?
Man, I get they couldn't do everything from the VN, but did they have to fuck up this final bit that much?
Haku is powerful at this point in the story, but since they had no idea how to convey that up to this point, and failed to really show him evolving as it went along in terms of power, they just did this shit.
The first part of the anime was great. I was ok with the bath scene and the fight Oshutoru/Haku then from the start of the war to the end, it became shit because it was 95% anime original when the VN plot was perfect and did not need those directing.
Man, is the VN really that good?
It was a pretty solid show, i really liked it, but everyone hated the 2nd cour it seems.
Its like comparing F/SN VN with F/SN original anime.
People liked it at first, especially the ones that hadn't played the game. It seemed pretty good for awhile.
However the game really does blow it out of the water a bit. Game has its flaws just like F/SN of course, but you'll rarely ever find an adaption that can live up to the original. They went far too anime original with this series just like DEEN F/SN anime. You don't realize how it killed the meaning behind a few scenes until you compare them and realize "Oh yeah, this really is different".
That's because the East has already played the game and can play it whenever they want. The anime is just fluff rather than adaption, they can have fun watching scenes that weren't in the original and enjoy them together.
That just shows how bad this anime is when even people who aren't constantly comparing it to the source think it's shit. Last episode Ruru rushed out to help Haku and the others and then the next scene she's pulling a knife on them. This episode Haku literally gave no fucks about being on fucking fire. Without even an attempt to explain how, why, or what the fuck I just watched.
How anyone can actually be okay with and defend writing this atrocious is beyond me.
You're assuming wrong
they hear about changes and assume it drastically changed the story. I think it was better that Team Haku didn't beat Vurai in his monster form. It makes Oshutoru's fight something you can invest in.
>That just shows how bad this anime is when even people who aren't constantly comparing it to the source think it's shit.
Isn't that all /a/ does?
>What willl get changed now, hurr director ruined the scene, anime original
The fuck is this?
Why is this bitch so useless?
Not with those eyebrows.
Slow motion scene of someone going to get fucked is always welcome.
Cool godzilla fight.
Designs remind me of Heroic Age
>Vurai dissipates the iceberg
Nice, very nice.
>just activated my trap card.webm
>a big, stupid, muscle-head known for his cruelty and ruthlesness who nobody fucking likes thinks he is more fit to be the Emperor just because he is strong when there is a guy who is just as strong as he is (if not stronger) who is actually charismatic and loved by everyone
Vurai is fucking dellusional if he thinks he stands a chance in the throne.
The country would go to shit in three days.
Vurai made assumptions about the emperor and followed his assumptions with absolute conviction. The Emperor was basically a god to the people of yamato, and represented absolute authority and power. Vurai believed the vacuum left from the emperors death would give rise to civil war and he sought to fill the void with his own absolute power; however, the emperors power wasn't only military, which no one in yamato could ever hope to replicate considering the emperor is a real human with knowledge of humanity's science and experience.
Image unrelated but I would defile a princess butt
Do you even need to be phisically strong when you have a fucking space nuke with yourself?
Who cares if Anju couldn't kill a fly? With Amaterasu, her power would be as absolute as anyone else.
Except everyone knew those charges were fucking bullshit and Vurai could have forced them to be dropped if he sided with Oshutoru.
Honestly, an Oshutoru with Vurai's support would unstoppable, considering Mikazuchi would tag along too, meaning all the Generals who were granted masks (aside from the one who is kill/missing) would be in the same faction. Not to mention that Oshutoru has the people's support too.
On the other hand, Vurai would be all by himself against a country that doesn't like him and surrounded by people who will probably try to murder his ass the moment he gives them a chance.
His brother implanted Hakuoro's genes on his body or something like that so his CON doesn't suffer the same penalty as any other human.
Otherwise, he would have dropped dead the moment he came to the surface.
See you let him die, but give a quest to the other members of the party to resurrect him, or make a pact with 'god' like the original haku.
Oh ya I forgot about the genetic modification. Good point.
unf. only reason to watch this steaming pile of shit. they may as well go anime original since they completely fucked haku's character to make him seem like an incompetent bumbling oaf. not like the source material was good to begin with, but still. fucking gutter cleaning holy shit.
>" This is the Eight Pillar Generals's unanimous decision."
>Munechika is missing
>Oshutoru is a criminal
>Vurai is fighting Oshutoru
>Atoui's dad is in a fucking boat
>Mikazuchi is being informed of this decision right now
Lelouch needs to grab a dictionary and check what "unanimous" means.
Do the Generals know that the twins can do the unmasking thing?
VNfags said that the real culprit of Anju's poisoning wasn't revealed or made clear, but the anime surely made it fucking obvious that Lelouch was the one behind it.
I mean, the only thing he has been doing since then is be as smug and evil as he can be, not to mention that his answer to Anju's life being in danger was "All acording to keikaku".
Why would he side with Oshtoru ever?
He always had rivalries against him since ages ago. He wouldn't suddenly turn 180 especially when the opportunities present itself to remove the thorn from his sight forever.
Because his justification for taking power is that Yamato needs someone powerful and capable as its Emperor.
Oshutoru is obviously more poweful and capable than he is, so following his logic he should support Oshutoru, who already kick his ass once and whose rule wouldn't go to shit in half a week.
They are probably aware that they can do something special they just don't know what it is.
I think they try to overly push the fact that Lelouch has its own ambitions.
Oshutoru is a better fighter but Vurai's attacks inflict more damage. Vurai seems to be more used to his mask powers aswell.
There are some details about him that were cut:
>He's revealed to have some secret relationship with Honoka
>He picked up something from an assassin who infiltrated the palace , most probably the poison that leads to the emperor and anju assasination
>His fuccbois servant was the one who found the poison from Oshtoru's room , they also make sure Vurai was in the vicinity to hear about it
So who will be the culprit regarding the assassination of the Emperor and the attempted one on Anju.
BL author is so suspicious that it won't be him, Lelouch had its own plans so I doubt he'd be the culprit.
Inb4 it was actually Dekoponpo who was pretending to be stupid the entire time.
He doesn't see Anju as the rightful heir of Yamato as she is too weak to lead the country. She should have taken command instead of just crying then Vurai wouldn't attempt taking power.
Emperor faking his death because reasons is my favorite theory. Every other suspect is just too obvious. They do seem to be hinting at something like that with Honoka going missing.
That is also my favorite theory. Haku will now be forced to become serious about restoring Humanity as a tribute to his brother, the moment Haku becomes serious he is extremely competent.
Then he told Entua to poison Hime theory. But it means they have to pull out ex-machina thing in the anime to make it true next season because director wanted muh anime original
How can anyone trust White Fox after this and Akame? Fucking terrible directing all around, complete murder of the source material.
They seem to only do the SoL stuff right, which is why the first cour was decent (bar fujo pandering).
This will probably happen.
Fucking fujo pandering retards.
Because Oshitoru wants the little girl to govern, not himself.
Vurai logic is that the little girl cannot protect the country and anything else, like what Oshitoru was trying to do is basically make her into a puppet while they control the country. Totally undignified way to doing things and Vurai cannot accept this
Wasn't there a superrobot show that did actually have people die when the superrobots destroyed the alien supermonsterrobot of the week as collateral damage?
