Original anime "Regalia The Three Sacred Stars" coming 2016 summer.
Not sure what is this, yuri+mecha i guess?
>I would know
Yeah, no, stop lying.
I'm pretty sure I posted that I liked it, it was 6/10 at best though.
Don't assume that everyone who finished that show were the those dumb faggots who force themselves to finish things they don't enjoy.
I know CL was bad and i had hopes for it but in the end i liked it.
I feel like the studio didnt have a definitive vision. They spend 6 episode have adventures around in the city before they embark on their journey. The result being having only 6 episodes to rush the serious and quite grand scale plot and so it's not executed well.
Even so i think the art and sound direction were pretty good and even if it's an average anime i liked it.
This is really a recipe for /a/ to go bat shit crazy again.
Tusk's presence wasnt a bad thing although abit retarded. He was the only male in a female team so he felt off.
The biggest mistake was Ange's being totally love stuck with him somewhat centering her character around him, him overshadowing Ange.
Probably because of him being Fukuda's self-insert
My problem was less him overshadowing Ange, and more him (and Embryo) overshadowing the entire Arzenal cast. I was fine with Ange having a male love interest (though I would have preferred a Hilda route), but I didn't care for Tusk himself.
>yurishit will combat the fujoshits
You do realize that even het is struggling to cope up with the yuri franchises, right?
I can't say the designs look all that inspired in that key visual, but I've been waiting for a new female-lead original for a while, so I guess I'd best not complain and hope it beats the first impression, and has a decent plot. Any staff announced?
Age gap yuri is ____
>I've fallen way behind on DW, but it looked and sounded great as far as I remember.
The bad thing about DW is the pacing.
They are rushing everything skipping character interactions and details that add quite a lot to the plot and characters.
The Yasogami arc was especially guilty of this, trying to shove 2 volumes of monthly manga in 2 episodes.
That raises the question on who is responsible for the pacing in a series.
How is it 3hz fault if the source material falls off completely?
That's probably mostly on the director, I'd imagine. I'm not sure how much say the author has on what parts get adapted, probably different for every show. In any case, unless this has the same director and writers (and is actually by 3hz, we don't know that for sure), Dimension W's production values are the only relevant takeaway.
Much as you hate self-inserts son, you just gotta play your cards or shuffle cards to make the characters right. Also, what are the actual characters then, what's makes a character well ?
Someone who actually does something worthy of admiration instead of having a bunch of women coming over simply because you are the authors avatar and/or wish fulfillment fantasy.
That, or yuri harems
My guess is they won't be lesbians but "friends" that try really really hard
>no male MC
>Might be good
That bothers me a lot, the absence of annoying male mc is definetively not good when is replaced for an even more annoying female mc.
What matters is to have a good MC, not if is a male or female. Terrible female leads are as horrible as terrible male leads.
You'd best come through, man, I don't want another yuri drought if this thing doesn't sell.
Now this is what I'm talking about. Yuri mech is just another variation of adolescence. The girls can fool around all they want, the will eventually pilot the robot, which is =riding the men's dick.
>riding the men's dick
>5ft long schlong
How does it feel to know that only girls are allowed to have giant dicks?
I would laugh hard if the third Mai series will be announced right before this show aired
you dream might come true anon
we are tired of fujoshifags bullying us, it's time we fight back.
Sunrise will bless us
You're kidding, right?
/m/ and /u/ has always been one of the greatest comrades in the industry
For 16 years, only 1 yuri mecha flopped - the first one. aka: the prototype
We have already won a very long time ago.
We have like 3 giant franchises supporting us and a multitude of heavy shows coming every season.
Meanwhile, their Naruto and EVA canonically ended in het.
They are 15 years behind to even gain a noticeable ground. Leave them be; it's not like they pose any thread anyway.
It's harem that deserves a beating. (But then again, it is already dying so that's that)
>Nanoha 3rd Movie
>Mai Hime returns
Is this the revival or the return of yuri+mecha anime
Sweet delusions, my friend.
Did you even bother reading the SID and playing the music?
I am posting it
>It's harem that deserves a beating
harem genre isn't the problem, harem are a success for yurifags. We might get a good female MC and her merry girls being lewd and slutty at her beckon.
>Anemone Heart and Garden of Glass are not yuri
Have fun in your denials
>lyrics define the sexuality of two characters when there is nothing but shippergoggles ponting towards that
That aside, this series popularity stems from the fact it appeals to a broad audience and waifufag wota that will buy anything from the franchise.
That sure explains why the majority of LL fanbase are women, right?
And let us not forget the fact that the game so gay that the west tried to censor it
only to be accused of homophobia and beaten to submission :^)
>the majority of LL fanbase are women, right?
I'd like to see you prove that.
>And let us not forget the fact that the game so gay
Those are undertones, perfect for purityfags because women acting affectionate with each other doesn't threaten waifufags and still grabs the yuri crowd. Not my fault american are fucking prudes.
>Those are undertones
I had enough fun. Go back to your Madoka threads, AC-kun :^)
He's just being an obnoxious little shit intentionally making intellectually dishonest claims because he wants people to stop posting the "yuri doesn't sell" meme. No one is delusional enough to believe that the success of all the numerous waifufag franchises with no male love interests and slight yuri subtext is due to the yuri subtext. Stop letting him bait you.
Come on now, if the franchise kept on releasing gay products, it should tell you already what genre it is.
/a/ is the only one autistic enough to stick with an outdated meme
Like I said, Mai Hime put Studio 8 on the map and those awesome fucking CHILD designs man.
Who can't you love more about Kagutsuchi and Mai
She has everything to be a great MC
It was a ching chong site that I forgot to save.
But I don't really care if you won't believe me.
You can ask /u/ for it
30.2% of LL fanbase are women 12-19 years old
12.3% is females age 20 -30 years
9% to women above 30
That makes it about 51.5% female fans for LL
The best part is when there was an interview wherein the female host noticed how the males are the most active fanbase during the events but almost 80% of their goods were reported to have been bought by girls
I can't find the source for this one though but I've seen it before
