Post Best Song from OST
Possible if they don't include OP and ED.
Chapters 143-147 are the only ones left to adapt for this match.
13:59 Weirdo Haste (Japanese: 変人速攻 Henjin Sokkō )
Did you see the first pictures of his nendo?
Glasses boy won't shine until S3 against Ishiwaka
Holy shit that's
pathetic.I love it
Did the previous 2 season had any filler.
I remember loving almost every single episode in Season 1, Season 2 just doesn't seems that satisfying. Like we had only like 5-6 real quick attacks from the duo, and only one felt satisfied (At the end of the training camp)
s1 was about 70 chapters. s2 is about 80 chapters.
There are about 48 chapters left for s3,
40 of those being shiratorizawa match.
So it's either 12 episodes, filler
or a one match long season.None of this seems good.
Is the Manga weekly or Bi-weekly? We got around 30 weeks till season 3, that means 15 or 30 new chapters, not counting that they could release a couple more mangas while the anime is running well.
>Did the previous 2 season had any filler.
Both have been pretty faithful to the manga aside from a few very minor changes. I feel like the first season was better overall, but there are lots of great memorable moments in s2.
s3 won't have the same feel to it all. No fun or good build up, just straight into serious business.
Long and tedious match will take up a huge chunk of the season.
I'm fine with that. I just want more of the grey haired dude from the Iron wall. Him an Hinata are 10/10 Rivals.
I really love how the anime treats the opponents as... well opponents and not enemy. Like there was only 1 team who were a real ass but the others were great.
You didn't wanted the opponent too loose (Like most Sport Anime does) but you wanted your team to win
Is there any chance for the Nisekoi crossover manga to be shown?
Aone hasn't been in the manga for a long time.
s3 will be majority shiratorizawa and I personally don't find them as likable as other rival teams since they don't have any real connection with karasuno like other schools do.
Only not ant sized preview pic for this week.
Hoping for one cour under that title.
>all that smug
Can't wait to get him
Kuroo and Bokuto next hopefully
Kings of the Court of Smug all in once place, eh?
Never ever gonna happen but you can dream.
Yes please. Invite the others schools, too.
> Smug is shit. Bokuto and Kuroo are not smug.
Your taste is shit. Kuroo is king of smug
Agreed. Kuroo is the king of smug, the others smugs are his disciples and successors.
Next best thing to an onsen episode, I guess.
They're not mutually exclusive anyway.
That's what makes Kuroo so interesting. He has moments where he's sly and cool, but also that time in a bonus skit where he shouted "Panini" because he thought it was a russian word.
Sly and cool and still prone to being a bit of a numbskull if his banter with Bokuto is any indication, as Akaashi poiinted out. Nekoma's going to hurt when he graduates.
>having or showing an excessive pride in oneself or one's achievements.
>synonyms: self-satisfied, self-congratulatory, complacent, superior, pleased with oneself, conceited
Not seeing anything about condescension or being an asshole in that. That's a perception, not necessarily a reality. You can be a pompous dickbag and still be a bro.
Oh, man, that's a doozy. Season 1 had so many, from Asahi coming back to the club to the Dateko match to the meetup with Nekoma to the final set against Aoba Johsai. Season 2 had the whole training camp, Kageyama and Hinata's meeting with Ushiwaka, Bokuto's speech to Tsukishima and all his weirdness, Daichi getting hurt in the Wakunan match. The list goes on and on for scenes that have given me chills. I couldn't choose single favorites from either season.
But still, shouldn't adult athletes be able to do that with no problem?
Being Iwaizumi is suffering. He and Akaashi probably need a support group.
Thanks god you're here. Futabafags are only posting cheerleaders and coaches.
Twitter isn't posting much either.
I can't wait until I get to mock you at your own funeral.
Almost everyone in the show has brown eyes though
Differentiating from most evil blue eyes in the show.
This whole scene was amazing.
This is a good one for that, too.
I always feel bad when boys cry. When Daichi's old friend's team got blown the fuck out and they were in the hallway and he was crying and telling Daichi to win it all for them, it was brutal.
I was that way in the manga with Owls vs Cats. It's tough liking both sides of a match.
New Kageyama figure out. Prototype looked better but >prize figure.
>blushing at Yachi
Not subtle at all, Yamaguchi.
I would approve of Yams winning the Yaichibowl.
Tsukki a shit.
He was shown with a baseball bat in the tv scene, right? So I guess he might've become a baseball player if he never got into volleyball.
Same here. I knew what was going to happen, but I was still really pumped.
>tfw literal nobodies show up but not Best Boy
Short shorts are a blessing.
Nameless Seijou background husbandos.
Despite my earlier comments about Seijou, I do feel some sort of hollow emptiness with the part where hard work, sweat and tears just can't win against freakish raw talent in the end.
The OST is so 10/10, it feels really underated when nobody talks about it
Fuck this fucker, he actually scared me there.
I used to want to see Seijou lose but they came out as the more sympathetic team in this case. They've got that character development and an actual rivalry with shiratorizawa.
Oikawa represents someone who has to work hard to be good and he wants to prove himself against natural talent. Yet he lost to a volleyball prodigy again.
Iwa-channo need to see this episode.
Oikawa's humiliation at seeing his efforts fail is not enough to entertain me at this point desu. I wanted to watch the end of the match, but all the Seijo pity, symphaty and emotional denial put me off.
never stepping on tumblragain.
>The third years are gone. Now I have to be the pillar that holds the team together.
During some match we will listen to his monologue of having to prove himself and later we will forget that the old captain even left.
Hmmm, I wonder.
But in the end that may be just personal preference.
On Oikawa whining.
1. Oikawa's volleyball career doesn't stop at this point, and that's confirmed already, he may encounter Ushi again, and he may or may not win agaisnt him in the future. Stop acting like it's the end of the world.
>a normal person competing against super human!!!
and you are saying Hinata was *oh so talented*? he did not. In middle school he losed to talented, genius Kageyama after 4 years practicing hard. Alone. Got shitted on by him, even. "What have you been doing these past 4 years?". All that drama in S1E1 showed that already. He does have athletic advantages, yeah, but so does Oikawa. Oikawa is not the only hard worker.
Hell, at least in middle school Oikawa got Iwa. Hinata did not have anyone.
The more I see Seijoufags talk, the more I'm annoyed at fangirls, really.
>well only the BISHIES exist and they are so PITIFUL!!! my BABIES!!!
>other well developed characters that are not edgy bishies? do they really exist?
>not "how disgraceful"
these subs can fucking die in a fire
>Joke speedsubbed an episode once
>kissanime actually picked it up and thousand of retards watched it
That site has no standards.
Are you guys fucking hyped for 15 episodes of the most interesting character in this entire series? GET HYPE.
How can you be indifferent to mute kitties with lobster claws?
Nekoma and Fukurodani chapters have been a breath of fresh air after that godforsaken hell.
You've got a while before then. Noya's gotta shine first.
I only need three receives and then he's mine!
I actually started to like Ushijima once I realised that his behaviour isn't out of maliciousness, but out of being just as much of a socially awkward volleybal autist as Tobio is.
Then you'll be waiting even longer, just like the rest of us.
I'm ready to watch you guys suffer like I did watching the neverending match.
What emotion is this face trying to convey?
If the concrete wins, it disproves everything Ushiwaka believes about the underpinning philosophy of volleyball as it's been hammered into him since he was a child.
Favorite is Kuroo, least favorite is Inouka
Favorite is Bokuto, don't have a least favorite all of them are great
Favorite is Iwaizumu, least favorite is Kyoutani
Favorite is Tendou only for his theatricality, least favorite is Ushicow
Favorite is Hinata, least favorite is tied between Kageyama and Tanaka
Favorite is Aone, none of the rest matter
and because he thinks natural advantages can win everything.
I'm actually disappointed there wasn't a scene where Furudate showed Ushi to change the mindset and acknowledge Hinata's capability to grow despite his disadvantage.
>I'll let Suga put it in my butt tonight
Yes. After jesus cleaned my soul I can face the abyss and smile.
It's not like anyone's been able to prove that philosophy wrong to him. He's been purposefully designed to be the avatar of that philosophy, even to the point where his dad insisted he remain left-handed because it's a rare weapon in volleyball. He lacks the frame of reference to comprehend how someone not born with gifts that have been utilized to their extremes could possibly overcome someone like himself.
Excuse me. I think you mean Aone.
Karasuno: Fave Shouyou, Least fave one of the irrelevant 2nd years
Nekoma: Fave Kenma, Least fave that one third year who isn't Kuroo or Yaku.
Fukurodani: Fave Bokuto, least fave pretty much anyone who isn't Bokuto and Akaashi
Shiratorizawa: Fave Tendou, least fave Kawanishi I guess? Just one of the members who doesn't stand out much.
Don't really care about the rest.
It'd be pretty funny if the eventual epilogue chapter would show Oikawa stumbling upon Ushijima in the gym of the college where he starts playing.
>anime ever not being thrown together at the last second
But that is how the industry works.
Surpisingly Tanaka is my favorite. The least favorite has to be twose two guys, only because their development is lacking in comparison to the rest.
Aone is best girl. I could say Torchic is worst Datekou.
Favorite is Kuroo, least fave is Kenma.
Favorite is Bokuto. There is no least fave. Owls are a premium package deal. All best.
Iwaizumi is great Interestingly, I had no least fave, but Oikawa's fangirls ran him into the mud of eternal disdain for me.
least fave is Semi.
I have nothing for the lower tier teams, like party time and guy with too mani niichans.
Unless confirmed otherwise, Daishou is going strong and clever. Such a proper well behaved sporstman.
Fukunaga, least favorite is Kenma
Favorite is Bokuto, least favorite is Akaashi
Favorite is Iwaizumi, least favorite is Kyoutani
Favorite is Tendou, least favorite is Ushijima
Favorite is Noya-san, least favorite is Asahi
Favorite is Aone, don't have a least favorite
favourite sawamura, least favorite hisashi (blonde 2nd year)
koganegawa, no one
akaashi, no one
they're all shit
We are blesed with another year of best girl.
Their captain is just lewd and the team is so nasty it's endearing.
I don't think they can win against the other two powerhouses. MAYBE they'll win against one of them, but Karasuno will ultimately lose. Then the 3rd years will leave, the team will have to receive some new members and adapt, we will learn more about those 2nd years and then they will go to nationals again and win. That's what I think. Let's hope we won't have to read 40 chapters long matches, at least not many, and let's pray that the manga won't end up being extremely repetitive.
I almost missed this, here you go anon.
It's only important they go to Nationals and face Nekoma and maybe win that match and then either lose to their great rival or get crushed by another school but be secure in knowing they went from flightless ravens to Nationals in a single year and regained all Karasuno's lost honor.
I'd call it one of the best sports anime ever. It's just the complete package for me, amazing music, (mostly) fluid animation quality, fun characters, and it stays faithful to the actual sport while still being appropriately "shonen" - unlike crap like Kuroko no Basket where it's just a battle manga disguised as basketball, with super powers and shit.
Holy shit, I usually avoid these threads because of potential spoilers (i don't read the manga) but i had to come here today
This episode was perfect
SO DAMN GOOD HOLY SHIT
I don't know how much people here care about Kurobas spoilers, but just in case:
In Kurobas the protagonist team dropped out of the interhigh too because they lost, but then in the next tournament they won all of their matches. So basically, that could happen to Karasuno as well but I'd be fine with it if it wasn't the case. I only want them to win against Nekoma.
I had a look through my txt file and in addition to OPM, the only shows I'm looking back on fondly are Wakaba Girl, Tsuikimonogatari, HIbike and Koufuku Graffiti. And I would say Haikyuu was better than all of those but as you say, they are different genres so it's a whack comparison.
Except that they won the final match with bullshit power asspull (Second door) in an already bullshit shounen superpower manga. Sports? Where?
Haikyuu seems more realistic. They won't go the Kurobas Route.
I wouldn't really mind that, though. I mean, it would be the logical thing: they weren't good enough so they lost, but then they went again some months later and won because they have improved and became a better, cohesive team.
Well, Shihratorizawa is a team composed of highly-talented members, but they don't really function as a whole. Their strategy revolves around giving every ball to Ushiwaka and then Tendou guessing every spike. Ushiwaka might be the best spiker, but that alone isn't enough.
It's basically a light show. They have zones and do superpower lightning attacks, and I'm sure there is more ridiculous shit but I haven't watched it much.
God I hated Kuroko so much. That guy who does a fake jumper, I'm pretty sure it was an up-and-down violation every single time. You could tell that the author knew shit all about basketball and just read up on the absolute basics of it and then went full retard with super powers.
Honestly, I like Kurobas exactly because it's so dumb. It's ridiculous over the top bullshit, but I find it entertaining to watch because it's a visual spectacle. I enjoy it and Haikyuu both, but in different ways.
11/10. Would enroll to Datekou.
