Anonymous thinks that the comedy is really shit, but he was only watching it for the action anyways. Anonymous has it in his 3x3. Anonymous hates it. Anonymous hasn't made up his mind yet. Anonymous pretends to like it because everybody else seems to like it, but really couldn't care less. Anonymous was in the middle of watching it, but got distracted by seasonal stuff and now he doesn't know where he left off. Anonymous likes it. Anonymous won't shut up about it whenever there's an opportunity to talk about it. Anonymous dropped it on episode 2, but doesn't remember why.

Great series. 'Fuckin' loved it when originally aired, but didn't care for the dub whatsoever. Sadly, the only people who want to discuss this are those who only watched the dub or the retards who completely missed the point of the series' ending over their braindead overreaction to what happened to the main characters.

I loved it myself. It wasn't perfect, and it had a couple things that were bad or downright cringey to me, but it was an original anime that not only had good animation, but good art and a good story as well. It was also an original anime, so it was an enormous risk, and I always appreciate studios taking some risks rather than making "generic SOL school harem #89456". The characters (especially the main two) were well done, the not-Brazil was vibrant and accurate, the budding mother/daughter dynamic was beautiful to me, and the style was damn good.

I also loved the high frequency of delicious brown in the show since that's criminally rare in anime, so it rates highly to me. I'd call it an 8/10, even if most of /a/ seemed to dislike it for some reason.

I like how they gave her a different outfit each episode (or maybe it was just most episodes?). More shows need to do that.

yes. she's as black as she is hispanic. the overall theme of the show is the place where it takes place is a giant melting pot for different people, including the japanese-named characters. in michiko's case it's painfully obvious, with her being practically a diva, both in design and attitude.

As much as I hate tripfags, I agree entirely. Far, far too many creators are lazy as fuck and design their characters with one outfit for a series that is supposed to last months/years. Who wears the same goddamn thing every day? Not only is it unrealistic, it's just boring.

that's one of the things i really appreciated about this show, in addition to the great characters, ost, setting and insanely entertaining car-chase scenes; as a whole the show exudes style really well.

Yeah, it definitely comes across as a show where you could tell the staff really cared about the show, as opposed to some manga/LN adaptation where they're just going through the motions.

I personally enjoyed it immensely. Not to say it was without flaws, but I was never bored while watching it.
I'm buttmad that this is the only figure we got, though it's better than nothing.

Satoshi was one of the most well realized an multi-dimensional villains anime has seen in years. That alone puts it in a class all its own. Then there was all the other awesome stuff.

Also I don't think Mitchiko was the mother. She was just doing Hiroshi a solid by getting his daughter back, but they turned out to love each other more than he loved either of them.
