It's all on Kurosaki-san and Kuchiki-san now.
>posting the shitty, shipping one
Remember when Bleach had some good comedy?
Kubo lost faith in his own series.
He is too jaded to continue what he once loved.
We'll never get anything nice again from him.
Nah. Rukia has been sidelined ever since her Bankai was revealed. Though funnily enough Ichigo himself has kind of taken a backseat in that he hasn't really done anything either.
Yeah real shit is finally starting to happen. Urahara mentioning Kurosaki and Kuchiki in the same sentence made me binge read the whole series in order to remember what the fuck they're all doing
I know, the anticipation for their next reunion is killing me.
So, shippingshit aside, what do you think Kisuke actually meant by this? Is there some special plan involving Rukia and Ichigo that we don't know about? Is it something only Kisuke knows?
Doesn't seem that way to me. He specifically apologizes for leaving the rest to them, whatever that means.
He involved both of them in the main story. And doesn't actually have a close relationships with anyone from the Gotei 13. They are the closest things to "friends" he has outside of his core group, maybe even the closest things to children.
I mean, who else he would be talking to. Think about it.
>same fabric strand
Relevant calendar artwork.
Means a lot writing-wise but not plot-wise, really. It's just an emotional Urahara thing, I don't think there's any actual keikaku involving Ichigo and Rukia.
If there is, i'll welcome it.
This is what their child would look like desu
>Kubo's old art
Kill yourself. It had style. His art peaked during the SS arc though.
Anybody remember Park Ranger? What ever happened to them?
Are they still shitposting?
his old art doesn't have shit on his current style
It's "old" compared to his new style. His Zombie Powder/Ghostbusters arc art is still great though. Like I said, it had a lot of style.
I wish we got a side series about the daily life in Karakura. Like a 4-koma or something.
They really didn't deserve to die.
I miss Porky. We could have such civilized and in dept discussions about Orihime, it'd be great.
Joke about the backgrounds aside the character arc has only gotten better over time. More detailed and refined. It's really impressive for a weekly shonen. Oda does impressive sceneries but Kubo seemed to be the most talented design-wise out of the big three.
I would agree that his art is better in some ways than it used to be, but it's way harder to understand what is going on nowadays. He has a habit of making fight scenes way too messy, everything just blends together. I personally liked his Soul Society/Hueco Mundo art the most.
fuck ss arc and onwards compared to the first arc are almost like a completely different manga. you just know when so many new things are introduced that all of the old shit becomes irrelevant that you dun fucked it up.
>His art peaked during the SS arc though.
Eh... And I'm saying this while I absolutely LOVE his SS arc style. I wish there would a middle way.
We could sit here for months creating theories and breaking down each individual aspect about Kubo talking about where he improved or failed. Some people like this new style and others like his old style. That's all there is to it.
The time to apologize for getting them involved has way passed. Your explanation would have made sense if they were still fighting Aizen as Urahara had something personal against him, Ywach however, he does not.
The thing is I dont think Urahara would be the type to fight for the greater good and we really dont know why he is participating. He has to have some stakes in this war that we dont know about yet. My guess is it has to do with quincy involvement in order to create the vaccine to stabilize the vaizards.
If anything the apology hypes he has a reasonable understanding of Ichigo and Rukia's potential for him to think of them as the most likely saviors of the possible war outcome scenarios he's come up with
First arc was very, very good. Ichigo vs Grand Fisher is still one of the best fights in the manga.
Also, that old school Kubo art
Posting more nice art from Grand Fisher arc.
Yes, actual backgrounds. He still used white space sometimes but he used way more backgrounds than he does now.
It's very obviously true anon.
Last one, don't want to fill up the whole thread with my dump. I love the early arcs of Bleach so much.
Stop trying to make people upset. You do this every thread, just stop.
Even if you believe it, don't shit post about it. I mean, I support the ship and I don't try to derail every thread.
The problem is that there are a decent amount of people who take this anon at face value. They think he's just another delusional Orihimefag when in actuality it's just a shitposter trying to give Orihimefags a bad name.
Honestly though, Barragan was probably the most overpowered foe besides Aizen and Almighty, and I'm not sure either of them would have been able to beat him. I mean what can you do when all of your attacks just kind of fall apart and his power gnaws away at you if it barely grazes?
I liked Rukia's look better after the timeskip. Thought it was a good choice to give her actual hair over the static helmet she was wearing before.
Yeah but that was super situational, he had to be nuked point blank and took like 10 damage.
Was there any way for anyone in FKT to beat him besides making him explode himself?
Barragan would probably be fucked over by the conceptual powers the Quincy use. I realistically don't see him beating a non-retarded Gremmy, Bazz-B, or any of the elites. Time powers kind of lose their luster when you're facing literal immortals.
I remember him being able to slow and speed up time as he felt like it though, I'm not sure he can legit stop it but Soifon was getting slowed down whenever she got close.
I dunno, skellyman was really cool and one of the few times in Bleach where I was actually excited to see how they'd win after it was established that using more power didn't work
Can you imagine the golden after the episode this happens? I miss the goldens, especially the unexpected ones where Ryuuken was revealed to have a picture of shota Uryu with him. I can almost hear Rukia completely gushing over the praise Byakuya gave her.
I'm going to assume he is a bit under or equal to H2 in shikai, as he had no problem surrounded by bunch of SR, and Full Hollow Zangetsu would fucking wreck them but Ichigo is not that aggressive so yeah.
A bit under H2 and in current bankai maybe like dangai or a bit above?
Why are shippers going insane about this? he never shipped them together at all, there was literally ni romantic implications whatsoever.
I mean shipping would be what he did with Orihime making her wear clothes to call Ichigo's attention, this is him encharging them with defeating Yhwach or some shit like that.
Which I don't get since Rukia is really weak compared to Ichigo, unless she's suddenly butterfly Aizen levels now? How does that even work?
Most of the Espada were good characters because they weren't lolbroken bullshit like the Sternritters and had actual fleshed out motivations/mannerisms before their final fights. At least the top 6. 7-9 were really just fodder.
Being broken doesn't mean being bad but it'd be cool if your brokenness wasn't all there was to you and if we actually gave a shit about the person.
man Espada fights were the best
People hare just happy Rukia has some relevance again. A lot of people love Ichigo and Rukias relationship whether it be romantic or just great friendship so the implication that they might interact again is something for us to celebrate.
Don't worry, you'll get more Orihime stuff soon. She's with ichgo after all. Just let us deprived Rukia fans bask in a little bit of hope that she might have some relevance in the story again at some point.
Would Kubo be successful in the world of fashion?
No meme answer
I think this was the last time they interacted
The broken powers has led to "my power counters your power!" bullshit in every fight because there's no conventional way to fight against it.
Where it was a pretty straight beatdown through HM/FKT, which is a lot more entertaining to read.
This was if you don't count the peach in the royal realm bath.
He's supposedly back to post-Dangai strength if what characters in the manga have said is accurate. Kubo is doing a piss poor job of portraying this though. I've yet to see Ichigo do anything as impressive as cut a fucking mountain in half with normal sword swings in the middle of a fight.
It'd be cool if there was a manga with some superbly overpowered antagonist and the conclusion that the protagonist comes to is that sometimes you [can't] win and some things can't be changed and he tries to roll with it or avoid fighting to begin with instead of asspulling a new power fresh out of his ass.
No. The only people praising his designs are anons, and I don't know about you, but I would never entrust my clothing to anyone from /a/. His designs look good in manga, but anyone dressing like that would be on par with fat weirdos in black leather coats with sunglasses on. They think they look cool while the rest of the world laughs at them.
I said it last thread, and I'll say it this thread; it's a damn shame that Kubo neglected to have Ichigo and Harribel interact at any point during the Hueco Mundo arc.
They'd have gotten along like a house on fire after the requisite beatdown that ensures her addition to Ichigo's band of friends.
Damn I want the anime back real bad. The character developments are great this arc.
What is the deal with THE HEART?
Why is such a meme?
It was the epitome of Kubo's lazy design. Not only was the entire finale of Ulquiorra completely devoid of anything but the rapidly fading Ulquiorra and Orihime, but the final fucking page about his death was completely blank with "The Heart" written in the middle.
Kubo was trying to be emotional but it was actually just hilarious.
It's also the infamous chapter where Yammy pulled the old "Who said the Espada went from 1-10??" shit. And transformed into number 0.
Tell me more about how fleshed-out and developed the personalities of Yammy, Aaroniero, Szayel, Zommari and Barragan were. materials.
Compared to them, Bazz-B, Askin, Haschwalth, Äs Nödt, Mask, Quilge, Giselle, Liltotto, Bambietta, Pernida and even Lille and Gerard had much better and fleshed-out personalites.
Kisuke will use Rukia as a catalysator that cause something in Ichigo, that will turn everything into Urahara's favor. May have negative consequnces for Ichigo and Haschwalth. Urahara did something to Rukia, when she was chosen to hold that special sword, that resotred Ichigo's power. May also be related to Urahara saying, that Ichigo gaining Shinigami powers is akin to robbing him of his future. 45% probabily that Urahara may become the actual enemy.
We don't know shit about most of the quincy and they're already dead in the ground and growing cold. Now I'm not saying that the first four hollow were any better, since they, like most of the quincy you listed, were clearly fodder.
Barragan's personality started getting developed literally as soon as he showed up by his interactions with his servants and his flashbacks actually fit in with the few times we saw him in Huehuemundo. His fight also wasn't complete garbage
Although As Nodt had an okay one I guess.
I still don't get it, he was hilariously weak and got repeatedly BTFO by Zaraki and Byakuya as 'number 0' when number 5 and higher were already big fish for captains.
I never noticed how Tensa looks like a blackhaired Haschwalth.
Apparently, there was an unofficial guide book released. Someone on Bleachasylum posted two of the chapters and the a rough index of these two chapter:

Pernida had alot of personality for a hand that lacked intelligence for most of the chapters. Pernida had quite a strong sense of justice and a good sense of humor. for example. It was also quite expressive for a hand.
Also the deaths of Bazz-B, Askin, Giselle, Pernida, Liltotto, Bambietta and Pernida are not confirmed. Lille, Gerard and Haschwalth are alive.
Yeah as I said 6-9 were particularly ill developed. And Yammy had minimal exposure. But Barragan had great exposure and development. I was cheering the fucker on the whole time.
And, quite obviously, Espada 1-6 were very prominent characters with their own quirks/desires/histories. The only backstories we got from the Quincies were Yhwach, to some extent, and Bazz-B/Haschwalth. All the others you listed basically boiled down to "they showed X personality in their fights"
They were interesting, particularly in relation to the other Sternritter that got destroyed with barely a panel to show their death. But they still weren't on par with the Espada. And it's because Kubo rushed them. Some of them have potential to be great characters but the entirety of the final arc has somehow dragged on forever and been really rushed in other ways. There should have been less Sternritter and make them group fights to compensate.
What the fuck did Yammy even have over anyone ever? It's not only powerlevels, since Starrk is shit compared to Barragan, but Yammy, even after his powerup, was less threatening than Ul or Tier, Zaraki and Byakuya just obliterated him and neither looked like they got hurt more by him.
The only time that wouldn't be true for explicit power rankings would be if there was a bad match up, the Espada literally went 'if their number is higher there's like a 90% chance they're stronger', Nnotria or whatever his name is says that more or less word-for-word.
His clothes only work on Japanese people and they're pretty consistent with what the street kids are wearing these days.
This arc is supposed to be longer than the Arrancar Saga, last seven more days and involve a invasion to the world of the living. I would say that the surviving Sternritter will get developement then. This arc has currently material for 18 volumes. When the Arrancar saga was at it's 18th volume, Starrk, Harribel and Barragan were nothing more than living probs. The only developed Espada were Nnoitra, Grimmjow and Ulqiorra, though Ulquiorra lacked didn't have his most iconic scenes yet.
And Nnoitra was an idiot.
Aizen chose all the arrancar numbers specifically to fuck with them. They aren't power levels. He gave Nnoitra, Grimmjaw, and Nel numbers "out of order" to upset them. He gave Yammy a secret #0 because he's just a big dumb brute who would never shut up otherwise. He gave #1 to the guy who least gave a shit about fighting. He ranked Barragan, the arrogant god-emperor of Hueco Mundo, literally behind anyone else. His whole purpose with assigning them numbers was just to keep the destabilized.
I thought he seemed stronger than Grimmjow. Grimmjow was one of those fast as fuck blitzer types, basically Ichigo's fighting style. Nnoitra was basically a glacier, slow as fuck but with high attack and defense.
I dunno who cares powerlevels barely exist in Bleach
Ulq said something to the effect of having three people stronger than him still waiting after him to Ichigo though.
Espada are ranked by amount of Reiatsu. Also Kubo confirmed in a data book that Nnoitra is the strongest Espada when it comes to pure physical fights or sword fights. Also strongest Hierro.
5 ordinarily, 9 is her post-coitus hair. So much fluff.
It's a show with a shonen main character and two solid female characters with strong connections to him, equal to each other but more than all the other side characters. How can there NOT be constant debates about who is a better fit / potentially canon waifu?
Orihime is a trope waifu—one-sided eventually reciprocated, boo hoo I've always loved you, etc.
Rukia has a stronger dynamic—fire-forged friends, glued together from the start after he stole her shit, parallels between them and his parents, etc.
Either character is fine as a romantic interest, and as long as there IS a waifu, this particular ship war can be put to rest.
I'm Rukia all the way. Orihime is landwhale self-insert tier and all of her dialogue is cringey at best. She isn't a strong presence in the story, she's very beta and tends to be the damsel in distress way too much. My position isn't a militant one, it just makes far more sense to me for Rukia to "win."
This is coming from a writer's perspective. Orihime will give you your classic romance ending, probably with foreseeable tragedy. Rukia will result in a stronger, more intense ending; with the two of them constantly bouncing off of one another, it's an easy choice for a satisfying ending.
Orihime is a lake, Rukia is more of a flowing river. More in motion.
>Ulq said something to the effect of having three people stronger than him still waiting after him to Ichigo though.
This had to be bullshit. He was in a class of his own after he went full edge-bat and starting firing lightning bolts everywhere.
It's hard to tell how strong Edgebat was because he completely wiped the floor with normal Ichigo and got BTFO by hollow Ichigo.
That explanation makes literally no sense.
Fuck me where are my shota Zaraki x Unohana /ss/ doujins
Get proficient with a sword and then try to differentiate between a one-handed and two-handed style.
You put a LOT more strength into your swings, especially downward slashes. Plant your feet firmly into the ground like Zaraki did and swing down as hard as you can. You will rek stuff.
Then again, Kubo.
Are you high? Nnoitra was retardedly strong. He's still the only enemy to force Kenpachi to use lol2hands.
>This is coming from a writer's perspective.
I kinda get what you're saying with this. You write stories and learn how to work characters and tropes, and you get a feel for what feels more natural.
>get proficient with a sword
Look mate I'm proficient with spears, not swords, but that being said I'm not retarded when it comes to fights.
Zaraki uses a one-handed style. He fights with one hand, his muscles are built for one hand, his movements and literally everything works with one hand. A two-handed downward slash is not literally ten times stronger than a one-handed slash coming from a forward-slanted one-handed slash. Remember, Nnoitra's 'armor' basically made every one of Zaraki's just glance off after Resurrection. I could see twohanded breaking through his armor and doing damage, but that's different from cleaving clean through, every inch down would need just as much force as the first inch and maybe more (dunno if hollow insides were also that hard).
He was getting fucked mate, Nnoitra just hit his neck with the scythe.
Which means he's no different than the average Harajukufag, but don't ever tell Kubofags that or they will sperg out claiming Kubo is 100% original and there's nothing that looks like his fashion despite all of them not even being able to google Japanese fashion or Shibuya 109.
The difference between Kubo and everyone else is that Kubo plugs his characters into color pages and wears different kinds of fashion themes, which almost no other artist does. They either stick to a consistent fashion trend in the series itself, like delinquent manga, go nuts and crazy like Oda, Oh Great!, etc with shit that's practically cosplay, or works like Mashima where they have a set foundation on what they are allowed to use as clothes, which in FT's case is cute and sexy nothing else.
Kubo is the only guy in /a/'s knowledge of manga that just randomly picks a seasonal fashion magazine, takes a look at it, and mix and matches them a bit before drawing it. Girls do the same fucking shit every day in their room.
I'm no shipperfag but but I have to agree. Orihime just feels so basic and stereotypical. Now thats not always a bad thing dependng on how its handled but in her case its just so bland. Rukia is 100% a better character both standalone and in a double team with Ichigo.
desu he's pretty unique in making giant spreads of his own characters plugged into those fashion mags, when's the last time you saw Sauce and Nardo in suits or Sakura in a comfy hoodie and jeans?
He did force him to use two hands, Kenpachi was literally going to die if he didn't.
>but in her case its just so bland.
This is what ultimately killed her. She's too flat, she lacks intensity. The Nips are all about wish fulfillment though so of course she'd be made of cardboard.
What the fuck are you talking about? I'm not even him, but Kenpachi just got smashed in the neck and is getting pounded all around. If you're saying that's a setup for him to look cool it doesn't negate the fact that he was getting BTFO before it
I'm sorry you're upset I reminded you you're arguing about complex power level mechanics in a manga written for highschool kids, but Nnoitra was never meant to be taken seriously as a character. He's just a mook tossed in to show off a side hero character being cool, and the whole "I better use two hands" is what we call artificial tension.
Nnoitra is definitely not a mook. He was a part of Nel's backstory, and he was fleshed out fairly well. The only real mook's in the espada are Zommari and Yammy.
Ichirukiafags can spam their delusional headcanons on a Shonen manga but when an Ichihimefags wants to talk about theirs it instantly means the Will to Derail the thread and Create a Shitstorm
Clearly you missed out on one of the greatest threads of all time.
Something like this will happen:
>Ichigo faces Ywach and Ywach uses Yama against him
>we get a flashback of Yama who is revealed to be the founding father of his Shinigami families lineage, also something about Yama noot becoming a royal guard because his power endangered even the spirit king
>Ichigo absorbs with his quincy powers sword Ryuujinjakka and thus frees Yama
>Ichigo is now the black sun
>he is a threat to Ywach, but that one still grins
>Ywach tells Ichigo a story
>there once was a women who lived a poor live with her little sister
>the women fell in love with a noble and left her sister on the streets to be with the men she loved
>the noble truly loved her gooing sofar as even opposing his parents, but the women got sick and died
>what the noble did not know the women died because she was poisoned unknowingly by his presence
>he fought creatures without a heart and the residue of those creatures powers on him were like poison to her which slowly killed her
>not good, how about another one
>the son of god himself once had children, two girls, but he left them too live among his enemies
>his fathers retainers as he could not see eye to eye with them
>they unknowingly were tools too reach where his shadow could not
>the older one left the younger one to be a noble she fell in love with
>the younger remained and lived as a street urchin
>how about a last one Ichigo?
>the noble from the prior story promissed his beloved he would search and care for her sister even if she died
>he found her and took her in against his parents wishes again
>say Ichigo how could that girl survive while her sister could not
>simple she became one of her fathers enemies and with that gained a resistance to the poisonous rersidue
>but say does that not remind you of someone?
>I may fall, but can you beat her
>with his last words Ywach shouts "steig auf oh weißer mond" (rise up whitemoon)
>a final battle between Ichigo the black Sun and Rukia the whitemoon begins
The thing that bothers me is there was very little surrounding damage from Kenpachi vs Nnoitra but quite a bit from Ichigo vs Grimmjow. This naturally leads to the assumption that Grimmjow has more oomph behind his hits.
And this is pure speculation but Nel completely fucked up Nnoitra in a short amount of time. And Nnoitra was looking properly fucked after a cero from her. Now when Grimmjow briefly fought Ulquiorra, he drove him back and blocked a cero without sustaining much damage.
I think they're probably equal in power. Where Grimmjow is more oriented for speed and Nnoitra for power.
Him and Lilynette dying really killed the fucking series for me.
They had so much mystery and potential surrounding their characters and they were outdone by a game and ultimately jobbed by a fucking joke (LOL 10 - 1 = 0????)
If I ever get the chance to meet Tite Kubo face to face, I'll thank him for the series, but will be brutally honest in in telling him that killing Coyote Starrk was the biggest fucking let down of the entire series.
Not the one you replied to, but Kenpachi was enjoying and prolinging the fight and not taking it seriously.
Kenpachi simply ended the fight when Noitorra reached a point where he could actually harm Kenpachi.
This is basically how all Kenpachi fights are.
>implying Kubo will not come up with a twist to make Rukia and Ichigo fight
Hell Rukia even looks like young Ywach and this shit retcon why her sister died.
Hollow reiatsu poisoning a quincy, while the other became a shinigami and built up a resistance.
>the everything is fucking sexy
I got you, anon.
But seriously, 2. She's perfect the way she is.
That's an interesting and dangerously boring question. Train? Deal with Hollows? Party hard?
Don't be tsundere.
It's underwhelming, that's what it is.
His Bankai unravels the body of his opponent. It rewires his body in especially making his muscles stronger and it has the ability to rewire and aide anyone, even if they're hundreds of yards away---healing them even.
the only reason why he died is because he was being poisoned. The very same Poison that took down the Cat lady and Even Ichigo barely slowed Down Urahara even after its magnitudes intensified. Urahara's bankai's ability is nearly the most broken of them all.
Because he didn't get to use all its potential abilities doesn't mean it's broken, in fact, it regenerated his organs and repaired any damages he received and made him stronger. He only went down because of the overwhelming poisons he suffered.
No. Nel said she saw four Riatsu's that were failing fast. She then mentioned she at the very least wanted to See Ichigo for one last time so maybe she'll save them all at the cost of her own life or maybe it's something else entirely.
I want to fill Rukia with my seed against her wishes, and have her come find me a while later to tell me she's pregnant. Then I'd take responsibility and we'd live happily ever after.
Maybe his Bankai's a lot like gremmy, where his wishes or your nightmares becomes sentient. Or maybe his Bankai originally was creating "friends' for him to play with. Maybe he's able to break apart or manifest his deepest heart's desire. Or maybe it's turning his dreams into reality.
>tfw only been keeping up with bleach for her
Please end my suffering, Kubo
Going by his link with YHVH and the subtext he may enhance and give powers to people, it is not impossible.
Aizen would have the capability, but not the vision.
YHVH has the vision, but he can only exist through those who die in his name.
Sit Aizen on the throne, have Ichigo give him the Asspull, and there we go. Both problems sorted out.
Ichigo pretty much said that Aizen was alone because he truly had more power than anyone and felt so lonely at the top. He really could only use so much power as a Shinigami and then realized that if he was more than a Shinigami, he could use more power. Ichigo realized how lonely it must have been for him.
Ichigo understood Aizen completely because when he became Zangetsu he gained, in my humblest opinion, a form of the Almighty power Bach has.
Notice how he was not only sure of himself, but rendered most of all of Aizen's attacks non threatening. Even when he was burned it didn't in any way deflect from his power.
He knew Aizen's ability fully, and his own.
Anybody got the check em version of this?
I need it
I think, Urahara knows the only way to Reach Ichigo's true power, his hollow heart that runs right through him, is with the death of a loved one. Bach will kill Orohime. Ichigo will go full hollow, and in their battle, the raging hollow demon will have powers that eclipses all powers, save for Bach's and in the fight, the Hollow will fall, and chicken little, what's left of him, will say something smart and get merked By Hollow Ichigo. Hollow Ichigo will see Aizen, attack him, thereby freeing him, and then the two of them will clash with Aizen surviving every attack Hollow Ichigo unnleashes on him, then Bach arrives and then the fight'll get interesting.
Bleach in general is a tropey piece of cardboard with characters with no personality.
I like Orihime because I like her archetype.
Man I hate Ichigo, he's the reason I dropped Bleach. I thought the series would be better if it was about Chad or Uryu.
Chad is somehow even more bland than Ichigo. What's there to like about him?
He was 1000x more interesting back when Fullbringers didn't exist and everyone thought his powers were an inner hollow coming out. And even then it was just that he had an interesting mystery about him, not that he himself was interesting.
I hate Ichigo because he's like a goody two shoes version of one of my favourite shounen characters, Yusuke Urameshi. And compared to Yusuke he's bland with bland powers and a bland storyline.
I like Chad more because he's unusual for a shounen. A giant mexican man who is friendly as fuck and quiet. Also his first fight with a hollow was awesome.
I know, I'm gonna sound like an autistic shit but I got fucking excited when I read "Kuchiki" this last chapter.
Please bring her back already Kubo. PLEASE.
>Pernida is alive
all of his cells were destroyed after eating Nemu so I don't think there's anything left
>Gerard doesn't seem like he'll go down
the bigger they are the harder they'll fall, desu
>Lille beat a Deus Ex Machina and turned into flamingos
Waiting to see if Lille will destroy Aizen's chair and what Kira's bankai will look like
>no way Askin is dead
the requisite for his trump card activation is his death, which we just saw, but there's probably more assmagic left to be seen so you could be right
They have talked to each other multiple times, he was cheered up by Orihime before going to Soul Society, they have fought together and currently are.
Looks like a strong connection.
Additionnaly, multiple chapters delved into her backstory and her life. She is hardly a cardboard cutout. Rather, she was given development and depth.
Every time I reread Bleach up to the end of SS arc I always have this thought in the back of my head that if Kubo had made the decision to make this a romance manga it would have been one of the best in the genre.
The best thing about Ichigo and Rukia's relationship was that it was always subtle and never felt forced. In ways they both helped each other grow and heal. Every parting and reunion between them never failed to have an emotional impact on the reader.
My favorite part in the series was the pain in Rukia's eyes and when she says to Ichigo she'll never forgive him if he follows him, and despite what she says Ichigo understood the message of what she was trying to do.
Shit even As-Nodt could take Barry out honestly. His fear of being overcome would end him
>Its been like 4 years since it was revealed she was captured by the Vandenreich
>Still no mindbreak doujin
Why is this allowed?
>tfw Busou Renkin does the IchiRuki romance Kubo should have
Maybe he just decided to fuck it and not do a romance at all if someone beat him to it.
>nardo ended nearly two years ago
>Harribel has been a prison bitch for four years
>Shogun 2 came out six years ago
>Haruhi was ten years ago
What the fuck
I'm gonna make you feel even older.
This chapter was in late 2013.
>tfw following bleach since 2005
>marathoned the first hundred episodes on a dvd borrowerd from a classmate
Kubo, pls, just end it already.
Except that Unohana confirmed Kenpachi was able to barely win against Nnoitra. If Nnoitra hadn't released part of Kenpachi's shackles, Kenpachi would have lost
Nnoitra is the Espada with the most elaborate backstory and his philosophy, despair and thoughts were explained in great detail. He had three flashbacks and is the Espada, who interacted with the other members. He's also the Espada with the most screen time after Ulquiorra and Grimmjow. He's important part of Nel's story and and lastly, he's one of the two Espada that could return,
There are people that believe Unohana healed him, Grimmjow and Tesla, who actually was last seen alive, while Ichigo was fighting Ulquiorra, because she new who Nnoitra was despite never meeting him. This would explain why Grimmjow chose to keep the scar from Nnoitra.
But that's not what I meant. Nnoitra and Starrk were the only Espada, who left a savageable corpse, so Mayuri could make them into zombies. He probably didn't use them yet, because he wanted to make a test run and used the expandable ones instead.
There also was once a chart published by Jump, where Kubo's editor predicted the chances of the Espada returning, based on his interviews with Kubo. According to that chart, Grimmjow and Nel will appear, Harribel may appear and Starrk, Nnoitra and Zommari have a small chance to appear.
Urahara is the PUPPET MASTER. He's not about straight power but making others fight for him. This wasn't the last time we've seen him. Ichigo and Rukia will fight in his place and after that
he will betray and discard them and take his place as the final boss. Aizen will explain himself and join the "good" guys.
>with the rest
Szayel and Aaroniero were the only ones shown to go to hell, but keep in mind this was a movie so it's not actually canon. Plus Kubo didn't like the way the Hell universe was constructed in the movie so maybe he'll retcon what the studio did later down the line and clarify what happens to the arrancars after death
By all accounts, he's not planning to change things meaningfully. Try something that is meant to be out of reach, yes.
Taking the Soul King out means finding a replacement, and Urahara want nothing to do with this. Seating someone on the throne is not liable to be his plan either.
Probably because he has played god before with his Bankai, and he finds the prospect terrifying. We still don't know how he created his Hogyoku, nor how he (or Aizen) found out about the precise nature of the Soul King.
>Wait, I don't understand. Who's talking to who?
Impossible to tell for sure.
Going by composition means plenty of possibilities.
Same for the characters behaviour.
Most likely none of those are in communication with each other.
How many new bankai did we saw on the last arc ?
2)Yama's vice captain
4)Renji's new bankai
I didn't counted Komamura's one, because it's just a modification (or power up) of his bankai. Same for Mayuri. Am I missing someone ?
And I meant that we actually saw what it does, since against Wonderweiss we saw him pull it out, then nothing. Everything happens entirely offscreen, and I believe Kubo may as well have forgotten all about it.
They never said anything about strength, the numbers were supposed to represent their Reiatsu. How many times has it been mentioned that someone who has immense Reiatsu is useless if he doesn't know how to use/control it
>mfw I realize fake karakura town was literally half the manga ago
Well his Shikai seems to be unique in that it's still a blade but smaller and less conspicuous than a katana, so it's probably a matter of convenience.
Man I just realized that Gin's bankai is literally a triple ruse compared to his shikai's normal ruse.
>shikai looks like a normal sword but gets bigger
>bankai looks like a normal sword but gets REALLY bigger
>but actually the scary thing is that it gets bigger really fast
>but ACTUALLY actually turns into dust and has superpoison inside
Gin deserved to live
Well yes, but there is the matter of hiding his reiatsu from Soul Society.
Considering forever ago captains were forbidden from even using Shikai in Soul Society unless in case of war, that sort of implies a greater signature.
One wonders if Gin's shikai was actually what it looked like.
Come on now, Hachi is a pretty cool character. And he did. Which is why he was no involved in the Hollow training.
The hands cant catch what the eyes cant see
More like pic related
That's why her Shunko sucks so bad, it couldn't even kill a SR in base
Ye, I literally teared up when he said that
Funny that as much of a joke character he is, that faggot is probably the person who sticks to his (shitty) principles the most.
More tatsuki when
Well story wise this will make sense.
1. Kenpachi has always gave his opponents an advantage so using one hand would half his strength essentially two hands being a full power swing.
2. He is a war potential/5 unknowns for his unmatchable strength/fighting ability.
All the types of Shunko have the form of wings.
Byakuya's Hakuteiken takes the form of wings and halo.
Aizen had wings.
Hitsugaya has wings.
Are quincies and shinigami long lost relatives?
>Major newfag question incoming
What is /ss/? Does it stand for /soulsociety/?
To act like a smug gentleman, or because he needed to die in the ritual and not somewhere else
Tbh if they committed mass suicide it'd probably have fucked up his plans something fierce.
Would Aizen have been able to defeat Squad 0?
- can teleport
- can disintegrate objects upon physical contact
- can regenerate
The only RG who could pose a threat to him is Ichibei, and only if he finds a way to bypass Aizen's transcendence (e.g. give some old boot a new name that says "can kill Aizen").
Ichibei is beyond broken
Isn't he almighty already? He basically has reality warping, but he has to assign properties to something that exists
Why can't he name himself 'Ichibei the fucking invincible fuck you Ichibei wins'?
Askin's still talking. As far as I know, dead people don't talk. So he's dying but not dead. A miracle could save him, if Kubo wants to. Remember Hiyori? Also Nel sensed four reiatsu. Grimmjow, Urahara, Yoruichi and Askin.
>Not wanting that sweet cat on cat action
What are you, a faggot?
It's not. Yuushiro is lying outside the Giftball. At the end of the Ast and the foot of castle Wahrwelt to be exact. When Chad engaged the stone statues debris was falling from the broken platform. The debris almost hit Askin in the following chapter. Yushiro didn't move since then, but Yoruichi and Askin did a lot. When Askin activated Giftball deluxe, it could be clearly seen, that they are in the middle of the Ast, far away from Yushiro's location. So the four Reiatsu belong to Urahara, Yoruichi, Grimmjow and Askin.
Wait is Rukia relevant again? I haven't read bleach in like 500 chapters or something
That reminds me, the Soul King's lacking a dick. Maybe it also was severed. I would laugh if it turns out that Giselle made a contract with it and became a futa. Would explain why Bambietta wanted it so much. Godly semen would make mortals go crazy. Maybe the Soul Kin's dick governs addiction or desire/lust/instincts. Considerimg the size of the arms and possibly Gremmy's brain, it must be huge and has maybe even an eye on it.
Yeah but it'd be hot
I'd suppose it'd be something like vying for control, so Yachiru-chan would bounce cowgirl like two before Zaraki flipped shit and pounded her from behind and then she'd shunpo and be on top again etc
not sure if it'd be too funny to fap to
He is running towards Yhwach right now. Everyone else is either ko or will soon be ko. Though I doubtt Ichigo will accomplish much. He will probably loose very badly. The only thing he and Orihime will probably accomplish is saving Giselle, Liltotto and Bazz-B. And maybe getting exposition on what's actually going on and what happened in the past.
>Kubo could have finished bleach when Rukia was still relevant and the series was great
>instead he shafted best waifu and dragged the entire series down the toilet
Quincy don't have Yhwach. Yhwach said that there were Quincy before him, when talking to Haschwalth. A powerless Quincy was born every decade and then culled. That only stopped when Yhwach was born. Yhwach said it has been 200 years since a powerless Quincy has been born. Yhwach was born 200 years before Yhwach. Both Quincy and Shinigami were always there, They could maybe have been created by whoever was ruling over Soul Society before the Shinigami. Someone had to install the Soul King as the lynchpin
I think Aizen will remain an unwilling and untrustworthy ally of Ichigo until the end or until he somehow dies. It's more likely Urahara has some evil or morally gray master plan. The last few chapters did hint at him wantig to de- and reconstruct the world. And we're still missing his backstory.
No he couldn't have. There was no conceivable way to end the series until Aizen went down, and even then he kept shoving in more hints towards shit like the SK to keep things going.
People keep saying "he should have ended it at SS!" like half the fucking arc wasn't about Aizen doing shady shit and fucking around with the captains.
