Gaijin card and address. When you go to Amazon.co.jp, there's an "In English" link which translates the menus but not the items. When you put in your address, select international address.

I love Dragon Ball, but I can't bring myself to bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on something that I already have on my computer for free. Not to mention the fact that I can't even read Japanese. Maybe I'll buy volume 16 sometime.

So you bought a new one. Yes it is a Japanese book thing. Most books have covers like that. It's not like paperback. Sometimes one of the cover, narrow one (it's called obi), is missing when you buy a used book. I think most people keep them on, but some people took them off or put a plastic cover over them like pic.

The actual cover itself is two ply. The two pages in the middle of the jacket are inseparable and are the cover.
