Poor Oz. He's truly the most tragic character. Calls upon gods to stop his friends so that they'll back up. Then they end up not backing off and getting slaughtered. Then Loki mind controls Arthur's body. Then one of the gods ends up killing his (probably) best friend, Dorothy. Then he finally (maybe?) sacrifices himself to put an end to the gods' ability to fight.

It's kind of hilarious every time they show another scene with him because it just gets worse and worse. At least we got a cool animation scene out of his despair. I thought his active skill was a glass cannon (big damage, reduce HP to 1) which would've made a cool connection, but he just makes all panels Fire.

It was hilarious to see him panicking like he did before and yeah, pretty tragic if he bit the dust in that scene, no friends and all to realize he is kill.I dont think Aasaa even knows about his "death" and failed plan. Loki played him good.

I'll give the end 10/10 if the author just booted out the mc gang without giving out much about the gate and just make them thankful for getting out alive from there, and Loki getting away, showing him plotting some new fun thing for him later.

I'm just hoping we get to see the boss of the literal Divine Gate dungeon, which would make sense. His design is cool as heck and from what we've seen, I'm sure we'll get some nice animation in this finale. That's all I really ask for.

Also, as foretold by the character descriptions, Undine did, in fact, get wounded by Aoto's brother. I wonder if they'll retcon her death though.

I wonder how differently I would view this show if I didn't play the phone game and read a few character descriptions beforehand though and how much less I would comprehend the plot/characters. I still didn't understand a lot of things though, since it's too crazy for anyone that isn't the director to be capable of understanding in the first place.

Yeah, I realized after I posted it that the wings don't really look like wings unless you know that's what they are.

I forgot to mention that I wonder if they'll show a true to the game fight. Where they battle Master of the Gate and his two wings in his first form and then he "evolves" mid-battle and they fight his second form as well. Would be pretty cool for a final battle.

The real question is if there will be a second cour though.

It's part of the robot's character description, which ties into Schrodinger and Aoto's brother's backstories. And just to add to this, to clear up a misunderstanding I saw in the last thread, that robot and the later robot that fights Santa in the Divine Gate? where Arthur left a piece of his crown are different. Schrodinger's robot is Samidare, robot that fought Arthur is Replica. She's supposed to be an "all element" machine, I think.

I don't really think the intention was to give him a minion in a story context. It was supposed to be Schrodinger's gift to Aoto's brother. The robot recognized Aoto as his brother, since they're twins. It's part of the character description for her evolved form.
