While I know you're exagerating though I find fafner my favourite anime, Urobuchi wrote Gargantia and it was pretty good, the problem was that they wanted a second season that did not go against the plot of the movie but the problem was that the movie was still being made and no matter what happened in it it would in the end be meaningless because it could not contradict the movie, in the end it was because the Studio was filled with jews who wanted some quick cash and even the movie ended up being just a fucking filler
