it was visually stunning but then again, just as much as all other Satoshi Kon's movies. But Millenium Actress felt so personal and humble. Perfect Blue was a great thriller that really plays with your mind and has a great female lead.
Tokyo Godfathers is a fun holiday film, wholesome and heartwarming.
Paprika just felt lackluster to everything he has done. It was like watching a Katsuhiro Otomo movie. Visually stunning with an easily digestible plot. But it just lakced that human quality and focused more on the absurdity of the characters and spectacle. The only interesting character in Paprika was the cop/detective who had regrets of not becoming a director haunting him.
I have yet to see Paranoia Agent.
