New episode starts in a few minutes. Will we finally learn the killer's motives?
>tfw there are people who are gonna die before this.
Daily reminder that Yashiro wanted to prevent that. He wanted to kill her when she was still Satoru's cute friend, she would have died as pure virgin that way.
>I- I didn't mean to cuck you, anon.

His adult form is scary as fuck. It's the same child face on a big body.
With all the Airi they cut it's going to seem so fucking stupid if they keep the
ambiguous Airi ending
Waiting for Anal devastation from MAL fags
Tell me /a/ , what's next in Satoru's big plan?
Best possible plot twist
>So first we get the hamster narrative. Okay.
Next, we see him in coma. But the hell, kayo has a baby. Now that's some serious ntr. We got teased romance, but the author just threw the developments away with a baby shoved into the face. I know it's 15 yr, but we didn't get a single interaction b/w them.
Well, I know it will be the train wreck the moment he said anime will have manga ending then he push only Kayo and ignore Airi which is complete retard if he want manga ending.
I don't get that either. It's why I actually expected a Kayo end. Airi end with Airi scenes is nice, an end without her scenes is good as well if Satoru will be together with Kayo instead. But removing Airi's scenes but choosing the Airi end nonetheless makes no fucking sense.
That's not directly what he said. The problem isn't the removal of Airi scenes itself or the addition of Kayo scenes. The problem is that it will have an Airi even though the anime ignored her most of the time which will feel pretty random and nonsentical when it happens.
>NTR is not removed
Holy shit, this is too good.
I remember some article saying they were aiming for the same manga end. I guess thats the reason.
It's retard that he did not remove her completely and came up with original end, he's half-assing it. If you want the feels moment and ending you go with it all the way no need for second option to make a happy end. With Airi's presence, it's like the manga you don't feel much about it because we knows he will get the girl anyways, see the picture yet? This is no different from manga. You either keep Airi completely or cut her completely no half-assing.
But then her scenes in former episodes would be weird as well. The director would at least have to show what happened with her in this timeline and year and Satoru's lonely end would be kinda depressing that way. I am not necessarily talking about his relationships, but he basically lost 15 years of his life and it's even worse for his mom. And they barely gained anything from it.
Airi end is okay for me as well as an original Kayo end would have been. But I have a problem that it's something half-assed.
Some of my normie friends were getting into this show, but it didn't really grab me. Thank god I didn't get invested, they're probably super butthurt right now.
>mfw it drops like a fucking stone
He'll go for Airi's end, no worry but it will be a bit random. Hell, I'd praise the anime if they really go for the forever alone route because that's the scenario that make sense the most. The manga ending is half-ass and anime will be the same.
>They actually kept the NTR
I just wanted to believe...
At least kayo's much cuter than in the manga.
>Yfw Airi hooks up with Kenya and it's a double cucking
I see tons of people sperging and foaming at the mouth over "delicious NTR butthurt" but no actual NTR butthurt other than a few false flags
I'll take this back if the score actually has a huge drop today or someone can link actual proof that people are getting butthurt over it
It's not about who he end up with, it's when he decided to have MC said farewell to both girl(which is a long ass chapter too) then he gets the girl anyways, now that is what you called half-ass.
what emotion are they trying to convey?
Years worth of semen made a glopping noise as it flowed endlessly of Kayo while I was in a coma.
>yfw Mom yells "fucking finally!" and leaves with the teacher to get her toukai pussy creamed.
This. Nobody who wasn't from MAL would care taht much about it. I didn't even know MAL threads were bad because I never fucking read them. All of the MAL haters are probably faggots who read everything there and are pissed when other MAL fags have a different taste. It's the same with ANN fags who complain about their reviews.
>It's not about who he end up with, it's when he decided to have MC said farewell to both girl(which is a long ass chapter too) then he gets the girl anyways, now that is what you called half-ass.
That's not half-ass you idiot. He wanted to talk to her. He longed for it, actually. But he decided to let go to protect her. That's why getting to meet her again in the end makes sense. It's a reward because he had let go of something he actually wanted.
inb4 angry reddit reply about "i dont owe you pussy"
>As expected, the director cut Airi out of the picture again, this time making Yashiro stop the photographer instead of her punching him.
Does he just not like her or something? Her parts of the story were always rushed in the anime, and in the last few episodes anything regarding her was removed. Guess the director really prefers Kayo.
Regarding the NTR, it was made even worse in the anime with how Kayo-centric it is compared to the manga. Just a big slap in the face to all the shippers out there, lol.
>The fucking mangaka has said the manga declined and was considering different endings, it was never set in stone. Biased Airi fag
Different endings doesn't necessarily mean different bitches, genius.
You suck your own dick because of them?
Was Sensei's post-coma backstory the same as in the manga in this episode or did they change that as well?
Did he even kill anybody this time? Is there even a point in fighting him if he has never done anything evil in this timeline?
Pretty much, the entire coma was devised to insert her into the story and make her relevant. Hilarious how little she is the anime. Kayo is the poster girl and is the reason this manga/anime even got popular. What did they expect
Only a few minutes till 720p
Thank God the shitposters have their own thread now
We knew it was going to be different than the manga but most people assumed that meant we'd be getting a Kayo end. No idea where it's headed now, seems like these changes are pretty odd.
People kept bitching about sexualizing her. More than other lolis as far as I remember. Probably because the fanbase is filled with casual and Kayo gets her fair share of abuse already.
Go read the manga chapter dedicated to him if you are interested.
Honestly you can read the rest if you haven't because you wanted to be surprised in the anime, it's seriously diverging. His chapter is 31 or 32 or something.
>best friend gets put in a coma
>NTR and impregnate what you think is his childhood love without remorse
Wait, what's with his brother? I think that was the actual main reason for him becoming a killer.
Was it shown later in the manga or am I mixing up stuff here?
Yeah, he mentions that he got married into another family and inherited the dad's position. Doesn't say anything about killing anyone, obviously, but you can put two and two together yourself.
S-so Hiromi is a guy? This took me 11 episodes to realize, what's wrong i Japan?
No, he was always like that. The hamster story is even in the manga.
Basically, Yashiro was always a sociopath with a murder boner, his brother was also a rapist pedophile. When his brother accidentally kills one of his victims, Yashiro starts to get a thrill out of murder himself and he continues doing it from then on. It's a pretty typical backstory for this type of character; there isn't really any reason for his behavior, it's just how he was born.
Of course he does get a thrill out of going against Satoru, and even one of the later manga chapters is very cleverly dedicated to Yashiro talking about how much he respects and loves Satoru while making it seem like the mother is the narrator.
The idea is that he is mentally a child. He doesn't have any of the memories of the time traveling Satoru, so his monologue is that of a child. Basically he doesn't have any memories of the original future timeline or even what future-Satoru did in the past.
15 years dedicating herself everyday to keep him healthy without knowing if someday he'll wake up from the coma.
If that isn't love to you, i don't know what can be.
I don't even care about the NTR anymore.
Best mom in anime history.
I feel sorry for her. She died at the end in the first timeline but she always said Satoru was the most important person in her life and she lived for 15 more years with him.
Caring for coma victims or real ill family members is a huge asspain and usually destroys the life of the helper as well.
The cuck without me, by Kayo hinazuki
When i get bigger, big enough to go somewhere by myself, i want to cuck my friend who's far away. My friend who's in a coma for 15 years. The friend who saved my life. I want to leave him with nothing but pain and sadness. He will have no adults, children or classmates, only his mom. I will fuck his friend when i want to fuck his friend, i will cuck him when i want to cuck him and visit him with his friend's baby when i want to. I will then think about the cuck i left behind. Kids go to school, like nothing has changed. Adults go to the office, like nothing has changed. His mom eats like she used to. When i think about the cuck wihtout me, i can't help but to laugh. I want to cuck my friend.
Well, Sensei's brother used to abuse him, beat him a lot, forced him to lure girls, and then calm the girls. His parents put all their hopes on sensei, but gave a shit about what the big brother was doing to him. So, Sensei's behavior is product of his negligent parents and his abusive brother.
I hope not. I mean, is kinda obvious he was living in an unhealthy environment where money fixed everything but the parents were totally shit persons. It seems some anons think he was a cool self-made killer, but his past pretty much explains how he turned into such awful edgelord.
Why couldn't an 11 year old squirm out of the seatbelt?
Also fuck the ass pull healing that his doctor didn't even think it was possible, and they brush off with
>MAL loves and hates it
Also known as "How to make the contrarians on /a/ shit themselves" think for yourselves and make up your own opinions, faggots.
Yeah this. Serial killers are different from usual criminals that murder for money or something. They are usually mentally abnormal and these are things people are usually just born with, like autism as well. Some of them might never turn to actual murderers but they have this thing that makes them think and feel differently than normal people nonetheless.
>Why couldn't an 11 year old squirm out of the seatbelt?
That was stupid but it didn't matter even if he did. What was he going to do, outrun an adult? Maybe he'd knock the adult out or overpower him?
11 year olds aren't very physically capable.
>Also fuck the ass pull healing that his doctor didn't even think it was possible,
You should watch the episode. They make a very big deal out of the reason why his recovery was so rapid.
You may just be retarded.
But if he died in anyway besides the way sensei planned it could have led to his arrest, he would probably kidnap him to kill him later, which could have been a whole ntr free arch. where we see the rest of the crew become detectives.
I don't know why the author decided to make the romane route more relevant than the mangaka route. I mean, the manga starts with a real conflict about Satoru's problems to deliver stories with a honest core. This lack of ability is due to a isolated life. This one is solved when he finally makes friends and helps people. But suddenly, this is not more important, and everything is about love. That was pretty shallow. And that's why Airi and Kayo are so weak as love interest.
Why didn't they know that the car was Yashiro's?
They must know it's his if it was registered and not stolen or something.
Fake names and addresses are my guess. I know a guy who's done the same thing so he can hide for whatever reason. From how he described it, it doesn't seem that hard to do as long as you've got money.
>I can do anything because of man's determination
Yes but they are still registered to an owner, in this case Sensei. They also have a number tag and everything. It doesn't matter if he owns one or four cars, as long as he legally owns them the police will know he's the owner.
Maybe there are different laws in Japan though.
Well okay that sounds possible.
Although it would be hard to pull off without ever being found.
The manga starts like this because it has bad storytelling. Author dropped it when he (or his editor) realized the serial killer/time travel storyline was the strong point of his story.
Same problem with how Airi is important, then disappear, then is supposed to be important again.
Anime director focused directly on the main appeal of the show (hence the popularity), but then it makes that fucking ending even harder to adapt.
It's just not a well-written story.
Sensei goes for a type of car that is popular, so there are many of them. He rents one of them, and he steals a similar one to do his crimes. So how many suspects drive a popular car?
They fucked up the adaptation completely this week and all you guys are talking about is your NTR bullshit
>and he steals a similar one to do his crimes
That's the point. I assumed this but people were always talking like he'd own those other cars legally which can't be the case if they didn't find the guy the car belonged to. Stealing is the only solution.
Yeah, it was a really useless and weird choice. It was night and winter - he should have kick a hole into the ice and throw Satoru in the water or something like this. People die all the time due to broken ice so they'd just assume that Satoru was about to cross the frozen river or something - and his corpse would be way harder to find.
I especially liked how there was no build-up to that or tension in that scene, and then the episode just abruptly ends. Just perfect. The last episode is going to be the worst one yet.
>the shitposters are autists from MAL
Can't say I'm surprised.
I've generally found the direction to be mediocre but switching the internal voices when he wakes up was a nice touch, as were the changes in OP. It took a dip at the end though, "I know we're alone on the roof and you tried to kill me but I just wanted you to know I remember everything now" was pretty fucking dumb.
And I know the Kayo stuff is mostly shitposting but I'll defend Kayo and Hiromi's relationship as one of the few good decisions in a sea of bad writing. Satoru gave them another chance at life and they got together and created a brand new life. It gives his efforts real meaning. The true shit writing was the coma, because it made his mother suffer so much when she was the one he actually went back in time to save and she missed out on such an important part of her life.
This is the first Boku dake thread I opened since the show aired because I didn't want to get spoiled and this is what the NTR meme was about? Fuck me you guys are retarded
I have a few problems with this show as well but they are different from the parts the masses are usually complaining about.
Either it's because of some compensation philosophy - meaning that the people that chanced the past must "pay" for the positive results in one way or another, or it's just that authors who write about characters who are reliving their past tend to regret former choices or just miss their past in general and write those stories to cope with it or to tell themselves that a different outcome wouldn't have changed the overall situation and that they'd miss their own childhood years anyway, no matter how things turned out to be.
He had his life, he lived it until the big restart. The point is the ones he saved didn't have their's until he traded off with them. His mother basically had no relationship with her son at all, but this time around they get to be an actual family.
>immediate goes after the next closest loli
Satoru is a fucking hero.
>The first fan comic is Yashiro x Satoru of course
I knew it. Dammit Japan, Sachiko doujinshi when?
I don't see it so badly for Satoru since he filled his hole of regret by fixing things and his old life sucked anyway. It's a shame he lost so much time but his new life is much better and he has more meaningful relationships with the people around him, and he found actual success with his dream. The part I'm mad about is the mom, she didn't get to snooze through those years like Satoru, she had to spend all that time watching him be a vegetable, taking care of him, wondering if he'd ever open his eyes again, and she missed out on watching him grow up. Sure, she's not murdered now and her relationship with her son is much stronger, but she still had such a hard life, out of all the characters who had to suffer, she deserved it the least. She was the kind of loving mother most people can only dream of, so the fact that a huge chunk of her motherhood was ripped from her feels especially cruel.
To be honest, what else is there to discuss? The whole series is fucking retarded. The killer motives? Mangafags already said that he had no motive, he was just fucked up, the time traveling made no sense, and the author just keep pulling shit out of his butt in a try to make sense of the story, and the manga ending made no fucking sense, it's like the author had an ending ready but for x reasons he change his mind and give us the teletubbies special, oa ayioo.
My enjoyment for this show really went downhill. I mean, why the hell would you build such a strong, interesting relationshiop and then pair one of those characters with someone that barely interacted with her?
God, this show really feels like shit now.
Airi was supposed to stop the cameramen, not sensei.
>someone who doesn't know you exist is somehow the endgame
I'm not going to bother to look what's different in the manga with Airi in the end, whatever it is it's bullshit and would never happen
They'll probably go for an ambiguous end instead of implied Airi end since the director seems very adamant in removing her existence from the anime.
If they keep the original ending though, they're only shooting themselves in the foot.
I'm more upset about the lack of pizza. I was also hoping for more Kumi. If only we got a couple extra episodes
The director is cucking Satoru for real
