I don't really think that was the implication; I think he just regrets getting those two involved with him from the beginning.
Not like Rukia needs another powerup at this point.
Kubo just happened to remember that, back in the day, Urahara was Berry and Rukia's go-to guy and vice versa. He said something, they listened. They needed something, they went to him.
>Shunsui and Yamamoto do the same shit as Hitsugaya in the same fucking situation, but only Hitsugaya gets the negatives applied to his character
Shunshui and Yamamoto plan their shit out while Hitsugaya just slams his head against the titanium wall with his allegedly prodigious powers, and gets shat on by enemies alsmost every time during the SS arc and the Arrancar arc, save for Luppi. I don't count Harribel as a victory or a loss because most of the Captains jobbed to the Espada in round one.
But you are right, he gets more flak than he deserves. I personally think it's more about the facial expressions and the "screaming with a full lung" that make it look more childish.
He is subject to some unwelcome shonen tropes today.
I really disliked this chapter. It's everything wrong with Bleach today. I don't even care if Urahara is dead or not. Retcons and formulaic fights
>Arrancar reiatsu becomes more hollow like with resureccion
Weren't the arrancar introduced as blurring the line between hollow and shinigami?
>It's a "'giant opponent gets sliced up by Kenpachi and Byakuya gets pissy about it" chapter
We literally just had this in Hueco Mundo, come on
Urahara has messed with them both. He messed with Ichigo before he was even born, and he might've been the one who saved Rukia when she was abandoned.
With all the Ichigo/Rukia duality we've had over the year, I wouldn't be surprised if Urahara had planted some deus ex machina in them that works only when they activate it together
The secret technique to do it is
>Weren't the arrancar introduced as blurring the line between hollow and shinigami?
Arrancar are hollows who's hollow powers got sealed inside a sword. So it makes sense that releasing the sword makes them more hollow like again.
>bleach stared with Ichigo and Rukia
>bleach ends with Ichigo and Rukia
She's practically an ice zombie with an AoE subzero shikai aura, and a bankai that's only not one of the most broken ass entropy nukes because she's inexperienced with it.
She already competes on Ichigo's level.
So when's Kenpachi going to get KOed again?
Kubo keeps giving characters grand entrances but never executes their fights well.
>Nel has to go and save Grimmjow, Yoruichi, Yoruichi's brother AND Urahara
Kubo better let her fight someone before this thing ends
time to post Ichiruki again.
I may be deluded about Ichigo's actual broken ass level, but not about what I just said.
And you know it.
think it, in Bleach this does not matter because one, the manga is ending soon, two, Kubo eventually always depowers all characters to the level of plot convenience. Remember what happened to Orihime's god-defying shit? Exactly.
God damnit, I spent the past week rereading the arc so I forgot how fucking awful the pacing of these chapters feel when you have to wait an entire week. Basically nothing fucking happened.
Who here /aizen/?
He's going to appear out of no where and rescue Urahara.
RIGHT LADS? AIZEN IS GOING TO SAVE HIM RIGHT??!!?
Askin was supposed to be able to overdose people with their own blood, and then it turned into this "gift balls for everyone" shit.
I still think that originally he was supposed to be the Dimension, or Door, but Kubo didn't know how to write that. That first gift ball he summoned to stop Bazz and Haschwalt fighting looked more like a portal.
Death dealing can work with anything, not just blood. The gift ball thing is basically Askin poisoning his opponents with his own reiatsu. I didn't think that was so hard for people to figure out.
I wonder what the other 4 possibilities Urahara came up with
>1. We have a mutual loss with askin where he dies and we are in the brink of death
>2. He has an overwhelming victory and kills us all
>3. We deal with him with few or no losses
>4. He escapes no one dies
>5. We escape no one dies
>She already competes on Ichigo's level.
AAAAH HA HA HA HA HA HA
She can't even compete with Renji's level.
her bankai is a glass canon and can only be used as a last resort.
Don't get me wrong, she's got the solid potential to be devestatingly strong and probably surpass Renji (who has probably already reached his peak) but that's only after a lot more training.
But Ichigo? Fuck no. Shikai Ichigo is on par with Bankai Rukia right now.
Ichigo - Fire type Zanpakuto
Rukia - Ice type zanpakuto
it's like pottery. It all rhymes.
>We literally just had this
Hueco Mundo was 6-8 years ago anon.
This will be Kenpachi's bankai moment, and discovering the truth about Yachiru.
Basically, he wanted friends, so his sword made yachiru, but now he has friends (byakuya is one of them, and he'll be put in danger in this fight, motivating Kenpachi to reach a new power) and Kenpachi will become the first shinigami to obtain bankai by NOT fighting it.
His bankai will be 10 trillion blades, and he'll julienne Gerard.
Damn niggastream went full meme this chapter, kinda shitty that Urahara didn't think about something to get himself out, I'm happy I saw Nel though.
It's an old reference to George Lucas talking about how the parallels in the prequel trilogy are "like poetry" when compared to the original trilogy.
and since everyone hates the prequels, we make fun of it.
in terms of bleach you are right
in terms of what it does it makes no sense. She makes everything absolute zero supposedly regardless of ambient temperature whether it's 2k Celsius or 5
Both Yhwach's Quincy god weapon and Ichigo's zan are fire... hence why it dried up the entire ocean in Ouetsu's forge, and also why when Yhwach cut Yamamoto in half it cauterized his body.
pls do not post anymore.
I know you're trolling, but the japanese has him saying "Kurosaki-san, Kuchiki-san"
though that begs the question, is he talking about Ichigo and Rukia, or is he talking about Isshin and Byakuya, because he knows there's a bad end waiting for Ichigo and Rukia.
almost undoubtedly the former.
>Function of reiatsu
Even though everything is a function of reiatsu, some powers are fuckton broken to be said "reiatsu levels"
Kenpachi was able to cut through space
Unohana can revive the dead
Kyouraku bends reality
Rukia goes to absolute zero, that means whatever the temperature around her is, it will still go down to absolute 0.
You cannot go "im so stronk i can heat up 0 Kelvin"
Rukia is on Kyouraku level hax now.
This is just another plot device to immobilize Urahara for the remainder of the arc. So many characters have been brought back from the dead I am not sure if it matters whether he is dead or not for now.
It's fire and the sword of Yhwach emits burning sounds
>Rukia goes to absolute zero, that means whatever the temperature around her is, it will still go down to absolute 0.
Wrong. See: Soi Fon's supposed 2HKO against Aizen.
Or do you honestly think Rukia's bankai would've beaten Deicide Aizen?
He had his bankai rework his entire nervous system so that he could move during giftball, and now that he's dying out from fatigue his bankai is fading and the stitches are falling apart
Yoruichi has beaten him up for having a side hoe bankai
Well not only that but Ichigo and Rukia are yin and yang, light and darkness, it would only make sense that their zans compliment each other.
I don't see why you are so adamant about your fan wank theory as well? We have been shown nothing of Ichigo's "true" zanpakuto except for the firey visage.
Her shikai actually gradually decreases temperature. It's the bankai that's a big absolute zero nuke.
I guess you could say that it technically stops all thermodynamic movement, leaving only as much internal energy in matter so it doesn't effectively stop existing altogether.
>believing an ability he has used the entire manga is his "true" ability which has only been finally unlocked when 99% of his power was being suppressed.
>There is a difference between using reiatsu to 2 shot an enemy and freezing it to 0K
Both involve reiatsu, Aizen would simply negate it.
>thinks Rukia could beat Aizen at his maximum power
Getsuga doesn't need a released Zan to be fired.
However whether he is still in permanently released Shikai or not remains to be seen. Probably yes, as this was said to be tied to enormous reiatsu, which he got even more of.
That was his Zan and power. Old Man was his Zan, just as White Ichigo. It was never fully realized or unleashed, that's all.
This fight was really unsatisfying just like the reveal of his bankai same with other certain captains.
Well her power is closer to an opposite form of OMGs than shota's whose is more like water in the air weather manipulation.
But I can see some Rukia was a Quincy all along reveal or so and some other complicated shit.
I agree, but a point can be made that his swords are one of a kind special snowflake case, from the power makeup to the forging process itself.
This was just some bullshit of Aizen to fuck with Soi Fon.
If what he said was true, people like Yama and Kenpachi would have not been affected by his Shikai's ability.
Well it breaks causality.
not the guy you were responding to before but he did say Deicide Aizen so I thought it was self-explanatory
I wonder if Urahara could beat Aizen by pulling hougyoku out after negating Aizen's bankai with his nerve/space manipulation or some shit
>Implying Kenpachi or Yamamoto surpass Aizen's reiatsu
>anyone dying during this mission
He literally posted four. Sick selective autism! Not to mention his fathers zan is fire and they both share the final getsuga tenshou, or anything like that. Oh and not to mention the yin yang parallel between Rukia and Ichigo. Because void and ice is yin and yang.
Well the entire vaporising thing in the forge was a rather bullshit thing to measure power.
Since we just before got to know that they never forged a weapon in that way to begin with, so we do not know if something similar would have happend with Yama.
>Do you guys just not understand Bankai?
Let's see, first bankais we see are...
Mayuri's - lost
Renji's - lost
Tousen's - lost
Komamura's - tie?
Byakuya's - win one then lost
Hitsugaya's - lost
Ichigos - win one then... doesn't finish another battle until Hueco Mundo.
Ikkaku's - tie
Soi Fong's - lost
you see where I'm going with this?
Bankais are OP that typically lose the first or second time out. Rukia is one of the rare exceptions.
Even against the elite stern ritters, bankais aren't winning.
>This was just some bullshit of Aizen to fuck with Soi Fon.
Uh what? If that were true Soi Fon would've outright killed Aizen. The Iron Law of reiatsu is true. Yamamoto and Kenpachi might've (might've) had higher reiatsu but not high enough to outright negate Aizen's ability.
Assuming for the sake of argument that Kenpachi and Yamamoto DO have more reiatsu, that puts them on roughly this sort of scale:
Soi Fon: 2
An 8 could affect a 9 or a 10, but a 2 couldn't affect an 8.
I am waiting for the point where they reveal that Yama was their lineages progenitor or some shit and Ichigo absorbs Ryuujinjakka from Bach with his quincy sword and fuses it with his own black powers which creates the BLACK SUN.
Bach will get overwhelmed and still grin as he reveals his final trump card the WHITE MOON.
Well we are talking about the guys here that a thousand years ago were raped by the Shinigami and from how it was implied Yama let Bach live because he was a kid of some sort back then.
He never said anything about that there needs to be a huge gap, he said if two captains fight the one of the higher reiatsu and so on.
This implies it is a simply thing of superiority even if the difference is not that big and for fucks sake considering that Unohana still feared a weakend Yama being to long in Bankai state endangers there world and that he fought the Quincy a thousand years ago without using its powers makes Yama's power trump Aizen's on a different level.
>This implies it is a simply thing of superiority even if the difference is not that big
Wrong. See: Ichigo vs. Kenpachi. Ichigo couldn't even cut Kenpachi at first until Ichigo honed his reiatsu. The gulf between them was huge. Ichigo didn't suddenly become superior.
>Aizen could still beat Yama
Do you even realize how broken Zanka no Tachi is
Yama could kill Aizen by simply standing there and waiting him to die from dehydration
We havent got shown a single power (aside from Ichibei) that can pass through Yama's fire cloak
Yamamoto is dead.
Aizen is not.
By that logic Aizen's bankai is probably even more broken and the most broken in the manga because it will be the very last one that is revealed.
Yeah you could be right. I won't argue against it.
But I don't think it's necessarily a super easy call.
We are told about Zanka no Tachi and get to experience it against an opponent who was a bad match up. He got jobbed so we can only judge it on paper.
They are both levels of broken. It could go either way.
Kinda like in HxH when Morel says it's pointless to speculate about two broken match ups fighting each other.
>yfw he somehow gives some of his own immortality to Urahara because he can't stand to see someone that smart die so quickly
No, it doesn't. The gap between Ichigo and Kenpachi was so great that Ichigo couldn't even cut him. Ichigo focused for a bit - not becoming superior to Kenpachi - and was able to cut him.
Still from what we know Yama did better against him in the past than Ichibei.
That guy, had basically all of Bach's knowledge, this would include all of Bach's knowledge of Yama and his Bankai at the time and all of Bach's skills and non of those worked against Yama.
Even Bach only killed Yama after having taken the bankai away and made sure to get rid of him and even point out that things would have been different if his honour did not prevent him from regaining his strength.
We have to point out that Yama feared the power and effects of ZnT on his surroundings much more than anything else, that is why he rather sacrificed his arm instead of going Bankai agaisnt Aizen (but against Bach he went with that risk).
>>Arrancar reiatsu becomes more hollow like with resureccion
>Weren't the arrancar introduced as blurring the line between hollow and shinigami?
This has always been how it was, not a retcon at all. Hollow powers are sealed in the sword, ressurrection is releasing the sword, thus resurrection is releasing your hollow powers.
Just when Urahara was starting to get serious, he dies.
I hope he isn't actually dead.
>kinda shitty that Urahara didn't think about something to get himself out
>I saw Nel though
she is the thing that will get him out, she's a contingency plan for 5 potential scenarios he thought of
fucking speed readers
He had to drink a large amount of his own blood to poison Oetsu, which was only possible because Oetsu had just gutted him like a fish.
Askin didn't really bleed much in this fight up until Grimmjow ripped out his heart.
>Nel after all this time
Tell that to Yamamoto, Unohana, Kensei, Rose, Ukitake and Nemu. About 4-5 captain rank Soul Reapers are dead and 1 lieutenant has been blown up.
Soi Fon's Bankai did win though. Remember? Barringan got killed in the end with help from that one Visord.
I've heard the theory that it related to Rukia restoring Ichigo's power and that being like robbing him of his future. This might become relevant again and that Urahara is going to iniate his grand master plan. Hints that he could be the final enemy have been piling up recently.
Askin is dying, but not dead yet. There is the possibility that something savs him. So far all the Schutztstaffel members don't seem to be dead yet. Lille is a flamingo and Pernida could adapt to the cancer. The last shot of Pernida was looking like two pieces of flesh sucessfully regenerating. Also Nel mentioned four reiatsus. Yuushiro is lying at the end of the ast and the begining of the castle, while the giftball is in the middle of the ast. So the four reiatsus are Urahara's, Grimmjow's, Yoruichi's and Askin's.
Kira is also dead. He's a reanimated zombie like Bambietta only without the lust for some Gigi. Sui-feng's Bankai didn't do much. The fight was clearly Hacchi's victory. Probably the only time kido won a fight, unless you count Yoruichi winning against Sui-feng with Hakuda.
His response to Askin also puts him in that modern Batman kinda light, where he's so paranoid about everything that he has to have a plan for every little thing no matter what. Guy must be a wreck inside with the wheels always turning at maximum speed.
She blew up dude. Her Cerebelum was saved, but she was blown to bits. Hell, Mayuri had an entire mental breakdown with that pink haired scientist popping up in his imagination to mock him.
Nemu is dead dude.
He may become the final enemy of this arc. Also his past will be relvant according to Kubo.
Mayuri had a brain restoration machine in the movies. That could become canon to bring Nemu back. If Mayuri's crazy enough he could also use it on Gremmy. Though since Nemu's lacking the soul heart, it would be more like Nemu being reincarnated as Nemuri Hachigou. Her nature might be the same, but the nurture possibly not.
The only movie that is canon is Memories of Nobody. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th movie aren't canon. So there is not brain restoration machine.
>Falling for fullbring acr is great meme
Fullbring arc was unnecessary, boring and didn't influence the story in any significant way except for random appearances of unnecesarry comic reliefs. Come to think of it, it's just like bounto arc but then again, there were Bleachfag hipsters that defended that shit. Just kill yourself.
After all these years my waifu has finally returned.
But the concept might become canon. Is it that unlikely that Kubo would decide make the machine canon? It would fit Mayuri's character at least.
He said that during an interview before the final arc started. He said his past with Yoruichi and Tessai will become important. There is also Urahara being in the Soul Palance, when he young, Urahara teaming up with Isshin and Ryuken after the Auswahlen and Ginjou meeting Isshin and Urahara after his defection, which made him develope a grudge.
>But the concept might become canon. Is it that unlikely that Kubo would decide make the machine canon? It would fit Mayuri's character at least.
Doubt it. He will most likely have Mayuri learn from Nemu and create his next lieutenant based on Nemu. However, she's dead. Never coming back.
>Fullbring arc was unnecessary, boring and didn't influence the story in any significant way
Yes, because it was cut short, quite drastically. We can speculate all day on what the fullbring arc would have been like if kubo was allowed to do as he pleased. Just look at the pacing and setup the first part of the arc has in comparison to the finale. The arc was gutted brutally to move the story back onto shinigami, anyone with common sense can see that. I like it for the potential it showed, but the finished product is just shit with jarring pacing.
Kubo was personally asked by Nel's self insert to have Ichigo's whole personality and demeanor replaced as my own for the entirety of the Hueco Mundo arc.
Nel is literally in love with me in both mind and soul. I saved her, she saved me.
My idea was more using the brain machine, so the brain can serve as the basis for the next Nemu. Some sort of artificial reincarnation. Though he still could use it on Gremmy, assuming it will be made canon. After seeing a seperated arm, Mayuri could be interested in finding out how this brain could stay alive. Gremmy might become relevant if he's the brain of the Soul King.
>mach 20 headcannon delusional reader
His zan has Never been a fire type blade nor any other element, it has always been Purely Energy beams [Quincy techniques basically] that turned black because of "Actually Tapping his Shinigami-Hollow powers" [Quincy side sucking a bit of Shinigami-Hollow energy]
If anything it actually could be Void because of how his Xtsuga Tenshou bent space upon activation without any kind of beam
That happens when your Reiatsu is so Great that it flat out smashes any Reishi that it's bellow his level
Imagine Dangai Ichigo or Current Ichigo going around with the Zaraki tactic of overwhelming presence, the human world wouldn't hold up
Though Yhwach didn't have acess to Almighty then. The Sternritter also didn't have their Vollständig. Like Lille's intangbility would only work three times and then it's game over.
While Yhwach had the Almighty, when he met Haschwalth, he looked older than Zangetsu. Creating the Sternritter weakened him. I would say redistributing 26 soul pieces to create the Schrift made Yhwach loose the Almighty and depowered him. Yamamoto then invaded the world of the living before Yhwach could regain the Almighty .
He did. He lost all his powers after yamamoto but fucked him. The only difference was that yamamoto didn't kill him when he had the chance.
Seeing the future doesn't help you when the only future you have is getting burnt to a crisp.
You forgot the fact that Zaraki subconsciously weakens himself against his opponents.
The only reason he didn't outright kill Ichigo is because of plot and the only reason he got knocked out is because Ichigo doesn't hold back like he does and got overpowered before he readjusted his reaitsu to suit Ichigo's powerup.
When was it mentioned, that Yhwach had the Almighty then? Ichibee was surprised, that Yhwach had it and he knew what happened during the battle. And Yhwach during the war was weaker than the Yhwach Haschwalth met.
Yes he had them, when he met Haschwalth. But Yhwach looked older when he met Haschwalth, than we he fought Yamamoto. So between meeting Haschwalth and fighting Yamamoto he got weaker. This reason for this is probably that he gave 26 part of his soul to create the Sternritter. Giving away to much power probably made him loose the Almighty temporarily. But before he could regain it, Yamamoto invaded the world of the living and iniated the First Blood War.
Why are people acting like Urahara just died?
>ASkin: why do you plan for everything?
>Urahara: I plan because not planning means dying
>Askin: here's my last move, but i bet you planned for it
>Nel: oh look urahara was right, time to go with his plan
Kubo couldn't be more explicit about him suriving this if he tried. At worst he's KO'd for a while, but that was supposed to be Zaraki's fate and he only spent like 5 minutes in the stupid tube.
That's it for Askin? that was anti climatic.
But it does bode well for my theory.
All the remaining sternritters corpses will be made into a giant Frankenstein zombie thing with Gremmy's brain as the main component.
It'll have all the powers of everyone.
Askin was so genre savvy it hurt. He was about to explain his shit and then just went all "Yeah fuck this you will survive anyways."
Im so sad he died.
Thought Zaraki would be done until the next phase of the arc but given his sudden arrival it's pretty likely that we'll see Urahara again within the next few months
Actually it is the Quincy that attacked the Shinigami, they initiated the first attack because they did not want to listen to the Shinigami about the balance thing.
Also the Shinigami did not invade, remember the fire demon picture, the fight happend in SS.
That is why Yama never wanted to use his ankai again, it was simply too dangerous, hell it threatend the existence of SS.
Do you seriously think anyone in the living world that was a normal human or animal would have been able to survive Yama walking around in bankai state.
Their names are literally written with Rock Sea and Sky, you halfwit. And the old japanese 5 element system writes void as Sky not with the character for Wind. And obviously Ichi isn't an element, nevermind two different elements.
So then there's the fact that you've got absolutely nothing tying the Kurosakis into it by name, just the assumption that their swords might have something to do with it, which they clearly don't considering Kukaku and Ganju don't even have zanpakutou. And even then it only works if you arbitrarily and of coure erroneously insist on using Ichigo's bankai specifically. Oh no, wait, that's wrong too because other than the obvious fact that it's retarded, the Ten in Tensa Zangetsu isn't the Heaven in Void, the Sky in Kukaku is.
still fucking wrong. all of it, top to bottom. not even close. nothing: not a thing. Of course, I'm sure word play would be easier for you to grasp if you weren't illiterate.
Mayuri should be coming to collect Askin's corpse
as we speak
>Actually it is the Quincy that attacked the Shinigami, they initiated the first attack because they did not want to listen to the Shinigami about the balance thing.
The balance thing was the massacre 200 years ago. And even that may be a lie, since a special Quincy lived during that period. The First Blood war was fought for other reasons. Probably that the Shinigami shouldn't rule over the afterlife
>Also the Shinigami did not invade, remember the fire demon picture, the fight happend in SS.
That is why Yama never wanted to use his ankai again, it was simply too dangerous, hell it threatend the existence of SS
We know it was in the world of the living, because Askin said the Quincy fled to Soul Society and then hid in it's shadows using reishi or so. The picture of Yama shows him activating Zanka no Tachi West. But Royd, while using Yhwach's memory didn't know West exist. He only knew Zanka no Tachi East.Yamamoto even chided him for that, since if there's East, there obviously has to be a West. This means Yamamoto never used West during the First Blood War and only defeated Yhwach with East. The picture is from another incident.
>Do you seriously think anyone in the living world that was a normal human or animal would have been able to survive Yama walking around in bankai state.
Well Yamamoto only used East, but you made me notice, that in Bazz-B's flashback there were only Quincy. Even the peasants were Quincy, since Hubert wouldn't have drafted them otherwise and they knew about Soul Society. Either everyone in the Lichtreich or the majority was a Quincy. And Yhwach had conquered the world. So, if there are only Quincy in the world of the living or the majority is, then how could Hollows become a problem? And clearly the Quincy wouldn't start from a clan of Hollow hunters. Or why are there so many humans now. Something tells me, the Shinigami have told quite some lies about Quincy history and that Hollows may have been created artificially.
What did Askin say about the gift ball? It kills everyone near instantly once he dies?
Nel makes it obvious at least Yoruichi/brother/Grimm will live, but I wouldn't be surprised if Urahara did something shady like pretend to be dead for some time, if he really will go evil. Kubo seems to not like that plan for him though.
Anyone notice Urahara is literally a copycat clone of Yang Wenli down to his death?
Kubo has good taste
>The picture is from another incident.
I've a pet theory, that the incident is what made Hueco Mundo into a dessert. Hueco Mundo, the world of the living and Soul Society were once one. We also know that a civilisation once existed in Hueco Mundo because of the Negar Ruins. So what happened to them and why is Hueco Mundo infested with Hollows? One possibility is that Yamamoto raided Hueco Mundo and killed countless to create an Oken.
It's feeling more and more like everything fell in to one of Urahara's many keikakus.
But Gerard is the Yammy, Yammy failed to be. And Gerard has the bonus of being the heart of the Soul King. So Gerard could do something interesting or reveal something interesting. Say what you want aout pacing and such, but the Schutztstaffel fights are eclipsing the 0-3 Espada fights by far and are certainly doing a much better job.
Orihime won't join the fight. She will be occupied by healing the bodies of Giselle, Bazz-B and Liltotto. While it deprives us of a moment for Orihime to prove, that she can fight, it gives us three beloved characters back. A fair deal, I would say. If we're lucky the four will provide exposition and comments.
The Elite fights haven't been too bad, but the 1 and 2 Espada fights were not bad. They gave us Hacchi, the only saving grace of the vaizards, and Starrk, who is probably the best villain besides Aizen of that arc. His fight might be my favorite in the series.
Well the Askin fight was kinda crap and so was Mayuri vs a giant hand.
Black sniper was okay but then he turned into half a dozen giant rubber chickens.
Gerard is also proving to be crap.
> bankai that can heal everything
Where was this prick most of the time. Nobody should fucking die. Second only to hime in terms of healing (since she can unkill you) and possibly far more utility than Unohana.
His fight was just underwhelming because it was 'my plan > your plan' without the reader know what the plans/capabilities were, it just felt like asspull after asspull. And then yoru got sidelined, will she use the armour or even her sword? Why show off some super-cat mode?
Early on they were mostly physical/limited elemental. Then they started to get more shikai with concepts, that's when power scale went crazy. We also had 'my powerlevel/reiatsu > your powerlevel = I negate you shit and win'. All the older captains characters were either impressed about or scared of were always holding back. You can't help but expect crazy escalation when combining their conceptual shikai, much older age and a presumably higher powerlevel because they never shat their pants (remember how charters used to basically pass out) when someone flaunts their powerlevel, but half the side cast reacts and they just acknowledge they are higher than expected.
>why show off some super-cat mode?
because lewd, anon
This fucking guy. He knew exactly in which manga he was.
All of these fights have been awful and only the final fight is worth looking forward too. Not just because it should be a good fight, but because it will herald the end of Kubo's Wild Ride
>Urahara dead edition
THIS IS WONDERFUL NEWS.
i refuse to believe askin died from simply having his heart removed
>We're talking about Bleach
>If you read, you're dead
>Accepting asspulls and "behind yous" increases your chances of chapter enjoyment
>It's no different than any other battle shonen
Soi fon was too much of a tsun to Urahara to actually be happy about his death, she was angry with yourichi and urahara because neither of them tried taking Soi fon with them, well, she was dead weight at that time, but being left behind was too much for her.
>Is she Arrancar Whorihime?
She is. The anime even made a point to give Nel a retarded baby voice like that dumb bitch, too.
Do you think Kubo is trying to rub it in our faces that Ichigo is alone with her, rather than Nel? Nel pointed out disappointment she wasn't with Ichigo and we know how Kubo is about subtlety. Kubo is also a fag who likes Inoue more than other better characters.
Kenpachi JUST reappeared to fix that.
>MFW he gets saved by Yachiru
Barrigan killed Barrigan, with that fat clown's assistance. Soi Fon's bazooka couldn't do anything. The same failure was cloned more recently with Kyoraku's bankai failing to kill X-Axis. The good guys won in the end, but not with his bankai.
The only vice captain i can remember fainting due to reiatsu was Shunsui's when Yamamoto gave her the rape stare, and obviously Yamamoto is a special case.
That rape stare was much funnier than it had any right to be
>literally gets a part of his brain ripped out
>survives long enough to say all this shit
Naive fool, the final fight is just going to be the start of the
>mfw people thought this chapter was gonna involve Chad doing some cool Diablo shit
According to Aizen, it was after she met Ichigo.
This, newplebs don't realize Rukia's bankai is one of the most powerful yet show, at least in POTENTIAL-- she's still new to using it and hasn't completely mastered it. Imagine what it'll be like by the time she has ~3 forms like most captains.
Things he will never do if he gets healed:
shop at Macy's
play Kirby games
eat star-shaped cookies
play Mario games
watch Hanna Barbera credits
watch Dora the Explorer past season 6 or so
I don't think their skin feels any different than a human's, it's just more durable, if you think about it. If it was literally like steel or porcelain or whatever, you wouldn't be able to stretch and they wouldn't be able to move without their skin ripping itself all over the place.
No, its some time warp cause-and-effect fuckery. When she attacks you, one of the two monsters goes back in time two seconds and retroactively mimics that attack, and then two seconds after her attack the second one mimics it.
You see Yachiru about to attack? You're already slashed.
You get ready to dodge? You're already slashed.
Literally the only counter is to move around at complete random as fast as you can and change directions constantly so monster mash can't hit you even with the two second head start.
I don't think it's as strong as you think, sure, potentially it is very strong. But it has a long ass "cast time" and what appears to be a limited range. Byakuya was either fast enough to escape the aura, or he managed to shield himself from it with his bankai or a kidou since it didn't affect him, and he managed to stand right in front of her without freezing, he only started freezing when he made contact with her.
In other words, the only reason As Nodt got destroyed by it was because he was either too slow, or too retarded to try and avoid it.
But sure, if it hits you you're done... In theory, Grimmjow survived being frozen by her shikai because it only froze the outer layer of my skin, so maybe if you're strong enough you can tank it, or maybe it's just a perk from having hierro skin.
Anyone have the latest chart? Is it this one?
Or this one?
Not at all, the two monsters just follow her attacks, one sword in front one in the back, and they are invisible until she tells them to reveal themselves.
You can see it very clearly here.
I don't see anything that implies time fuckery anywhere. But even if it worked like you say, it isn't one of the strongest shikais, even ignoring Shunsui's, Aizen's and Yama's, just off the top of my head Mayuri's and Byakuya's are much better.
I'm not the anon that said it was OP or even one of the strongest. But if her Shikai was just a triple longer sword, that be boring as FUCK so let's just assume it's this cool shit instead
I find this weird to believe. Aizen knew of Urahara's whereabouts from when Masaki got infected by the hollow. What was keeping Aizen from getting the hogyoku during that time period?
>urahara either ded or being saved by nel
>that's literally all his bankai did
He told Ichigo in the SS arc that Urahara put the Hougyoko inside Rukia after she met Ichigo.
He told Ishiin something could be interpreted in two ways(pic related in chapter 401) either Rukia already had the Hougyoko inside her, or, Ichigo acts as a Hougyoko.
However, things get even more confusing when during his battle with Gin he reveals to Gin that Aizen created a Hougyoko before Urahara and that in order to complete his Hougyoko he had to feed Urahara's to his own.
In other words,
i don't know
>Zaraki's bankai is going to be an even sharper sword
I'm gonna assume that after he saved Masaki, he realized he could insert the Hogyoku could be hidden in a gigai and eventually, turn the gigai into a human and dissolve/destroy the Hogyoku at the same time.
my guess is that this is where Jinta and Ururu come into play: both were Mod Souls either created or stolen from SS by Urahara; these two were turned into humans but the Hogyoku either rejected the gigai merger or failed to dissolve completely (this would also explain the low reiatsu and why Aizen needed to feed it souls for it to awaken). Since the merger/dissolve failed, Urahara continued researching gigais and finally managed to create one that would completely mask the Hogyoku and dissolve/merge with the gigai
>known as the man that wouldn't die
>dies from getting his heart ripped out
I thought Aizen knew Rukia had the hyogyoku BEFORE she met Ichigo so he arranged for Rukia to get sent on a mission to earth so she would specifically meet him.
It never really made sense to me that Urahara would put the Hyogyoku in Rukia when she came to earth. He'd managed to keep it hidden from Aizen so long why, jeopardise that? Also, even if he was trying to turn Rukia into a human he must have known someone from SS would have come to take her back eventually.
Urahara was in possession of the Hogyoku the entire time, Rukia didn't come in contact with it until she accepted the gigai Urahara stashed the Hogyoku in.
Aizen knew Urahara had it because of the Masaki-Isshin event but probably didn't know where it was hidden, then once he saw the gigai info Urahara had researched before he was dismissed, figured he'd hide it in one. He sent Rukia to Karakura and staged the encounter between Ichigo/Rukia and correctly anticipated Urahara giving Rukia the Hogyoku-lodged gigai
In bleach 0
>Co-3rd Seat Kiyone Kotetsu reassures Rukia that she is not being transferred, but rather being given a mission to the Human World. She reminds Rukia that she has been posted to the Human World shortly after joining the Thirteenth Division and becoming Kiyone's assistant. When Rukia does not remember this, co-3rd Seat Sentarō Kotsubaki mocks Kiyone and the two begin arguing.
>Rukia doesn't remember going to the human world before
Shitposter shippers need go back to narutard threads. I know you are because you assume I was a Orifag. You are not a fan of Rukia because Rukia is a friend, not a love interest. A side kick, a partner in crime, and more of a teacher. The fact that shippers honestly believe that Kubo would ruin a perfectly male/female dynamic duo with having them being end game is insulting to Rukia's character. Any anime romantic interest was only in anime, and filler no less. Everything in the manga you trolls keep plastering all over these threads are out of context. They only serve to turn discussion into shipping cancer shitfests. Insiting posters to ignore, and hide your shitposting.
Just like I'll do right now ;3
>implying Yhwach can defeat Ichigo
He can control his movements, remember?
Something worth having in mind: Orihime's dome shield looks and acts like Yhwach's Blut Vene Anhaben.
So...I expect something ineresting to happen
Orihime will probably act as Ichigo's shield. Kubo has been hinting her advancement in her powers since Fullbring dollhouse training. She might act as a Jean Grey, as Ichigo is to Scott Summers. She is his support, Ichigo is full on assault.
This guy has it right, after rereading 401. He had to have known that Rukia had the hogyoku if he sent her toward Ichigo, he just didn't know what would happen.
Im betting Aizen didn't know that Urahara would give her a special gigai that would drain her powers and make her difficult to detect. Thus this is the reason why he sent the two people (renji, byakuya) closest to Rukia and who have the most motive to find her.
>pshhhh.... nothin personnel..... kid......
This shit is the worst.
Why would Aizen send her towards Ichigo if she had the rock inside her already? Why not just wait for her in a dark alley in SS and rip it out with Urahara's green gloves like he did anyway? If his goal was obtaining the hogyoku why sent it away from him?
Ichigo is still fighting stairs, It's all down to sado san now.
He needs to kill Not bazz b, run back and kill Askin one shot Thor, make love to Nel and make Bleach great again!
>Why didn't an advanced shunko kill that guy
>Why did Urahara turn me into a catgirl, I thought "never again" was pretty clear
>Why didn't the catgirl form even work, holy shit
>This is why I shout at Urahara so much
>Why is Urahara getting his shit kicked in
>I wonder what Ichigo is doing
Who knows. 401 explains it as Aizen wanted to test the potential of the hogyoku, and when ichigo and rukia met he was able to prove his hypothesis correct, that the hogyoku grants wishes. So I assume before that night he was not entirely sure of its abilities.
For why he didn't just rip it out from her earlier, I'm guessing he wasn't able to research that method until after he faked his death because of being busy due to captain responsibilities.
He's not dead, he just tapped out. That whole bullshit was just a way to keep him out of any important fights that Ichigo will have from now on.
This way people can't go "but why didn't Urahara help" or some bullshit.
Are you a cuck? he is voiced by the same guy who voiced that conman in the cuckomonogatari cuck NTR anime, you have to be a cuck to like him.
FINALY HE IS DEAD! THE CUNT IS DEAD!
Someone earlier in the thread said ichigo's new Zan was fire type and got dismissed
I wouldn't be so quick to dismissal, his dad's is fire type
Grimmjow never turned to dust, last time we saw him in Hueco Mundo Ichigo saved him from Nnoitora. You're probably thinking of Ulquiorra.
Wait can you post image ichigo saved him from nnoitora?
Dont remember that, just remember him being in this stupid Panther form and lying dead.
And why the FUCK would he save him? he didnt care for the sentient hollows that kill other people, he shouldnt care about these cunts either.
>because of being busy due to captain responsibilities.
He was using KS to switch with Gin and Tousen while he was studying the library. Hell he was using some mook for two months during tbtp without anyone noticing. He could use it any time he wants to get the hogyoku if it was in Rukia all the time.
But it wasnt in her. It was inside the gigai Urahara gave her
Then came along the Force Awakens and the Prequels were suddenly joined by an even more retarded movie in the series. thanks Jar Jar and the house of Rats.
maRey Sue being the most broken protagonist i've ever seen, Han Solo getting jobbed for no reason at all, and post Han's death Leia runs and hugs some no named trash collecting smelly girl she just met?
And don't get me started about the death star 9000. I hate jar jar and the rat so much!
Because Ichigo had fun fighting Grimmjow, he let him live just so they could fight again. Grimmjow literally throws that in his face when they were fighting, that Ichigo just went to Hueco Mundo to fight him, not to rescue Orihime.
He was also told that when he was training to control his hollow side with the Vizards.
tl;dr: Ichigo likes to fight.
No, he was using KS in the gov chamber, while rotating between gin and tousen. Faking his death gave him more time to research the alternative method to burning someone to get the hokyogu, so no, he couldn't get the hokyogu even if It was in Rukia before she met Ichigo.
Why would somebody want more of him after Hogyoku?
>there are people who seriously and whole heartedly believe we will see Aizen's bankai
>there are human beings capable of independent thought who believe that ichigo/rukia isn't gonna be canon
>there are fellow anime enthusiasts posting in this very thread who think Urahara is actually dead
