Finished this series, it was ok, but you get that sad feeling it's over.
It'll grow on you with time.
>>138709204
along with the Africa arc
>>138709240
>>138709240
oh man did that ever piss me off. She should have at least realized she was being a cunt.
>>138709410
Keep her age in mind, in all fairness.
>>138709204
My man I've been getting this feeling for years, but for some reason it hit me all over again. Is it possible to feel again even when you turn yourself in to a monster.
>>138709441
Yeah that's the problem too, if that dude wasn't married she would have ditched Jon in a heartbeat. At her age you think she would be more devoted to the first Kissu love.
>>138709451DON'T FORGET TO TRY IN MIND
JUMBO BLACKED
>>138709498
She'd been through a lot.
>>138709606
yeah but you don't see Jon being a horny little fuck for other women, he was just a putz for Nadia.
>>138709566
I love you anon
Eureka Seven was literally a better version of this.
>>138709720
Boys and girls are different at that age. Her dad had just died, as far as she knew, and how she felt about Jean was tied up in a constant flux after all they'd been through together. Suddenly there's something new, no stings attached. It's not good, but it's understandable.
>>138709847
well it did it's job in making you hate her for a brief moment
>>138709884
At least he was persistent.
>>138709965
who Jean or CHACHA HAHA JUMBO boy
>>138710011
Well, Jean was persistent and it paid off, and the other guy was persistent in that, I'm assuming, he didn't cheat on his fiance.
>>138710063
I thought it was hilarious how he died, especially the dubbed version.
>>138710379
I don't even remember that happening.
>>138710469
yeah last episode
>>138710525
Wait, who are we taking about now?
>>138710601
Jean
>>138710680
He did? Last thing I remember were Sanson and Marie going over what happened to everyone, and Jean and Nadia had a child.
She's cute
>>138710737
he died but brought back to life, gargoyle killed him. It was a temporary thing. You know you kill people only when they are dead.
Blue water brought him back.
It was good but the island/Africa arcs left me bitter
Was the epilogue timeskip really necessary? I didn't need to know that Sanson was a pedophile.
>>138710861
Oh, of course.
>>138710876
I felt the same fucking thing, don't know if the movie version does it better.
>>138710876
I liked Sanson and Grandis as a couple.
>>138710968
Probably it doesn't.
>>138711012
I didn't expect Nemo to fuck Electra either but she was more of a legitimate age, I mean he considered her a daughter for fucks sakes. Must have been a pity fuck.
>>138711154
I guess it must have taken those extreme circumstances for either of them to make a move.
>>138711012
>Sanson and Grandis
The best characters. Kept watching to see them in action and they delivered.
>>138712439
I like Marie too.
I can't find my webms, for some reason.
>>138712910
Marie is very fantastic too.
>>138713088
Right on.
>>138713088
for some reason the animation quality dropped during the island Africa arc
Post more nadia pics
>>138713295
I've read that more episodes were ordered and produced than planned midway through. Anno didn't have anything to do with it.
>>138713347
>>138713379
figured, so the africa episodes were just wasting time, good to hear.
I would have loved to see Nadia say she loved Jean just once. The kid deserved so much after all that bullshit.
>>138713560
They're pretty cute together.
>>138709163
>>138713617
I always like the odd relationship, like dances wolves relationships.
Adult Nadia is pretty cute
>>138714396
These are from the movie, huh?
Grandis is looking cute.
>>138714429
Yeah. Newtype put out a movie art book. Never have been able to find scans of the thing. I hear the movie is pretty terrible, but the art is nice.
>Little girl falls in love with him
>get's to marry and fuck her while she's still underage
Sanson confirmed for true winner of the series.
>>138714618
The fault must be in the plot, then. I'm almost interested.
>>138714618
how was it terrible?
>>138714618
The movie was shit
First 30 minutes are the series recap. The storyline is about a supposed Gargoyle's henchman trying to take over the world by replacing major public figures with lookalike androids. Has LOL love triangle misunderstandings, forced drama and shit animation.
>>138715298
well fuck me, was it the same forced drama that the africa arc had?
>>138709163
Best girl shinji
Reminder; Africa arc is not canon. If you didn't delete Ep32-33 before watching it, you did it wrong.
>>138709163
Fuck you Anon! Thanks to you I watched the last 10 episodes of this show yesterday.
The ending made me sick! Seriously I cannot believe how much I hated this shit!
Not a single relatable character, everyone is a beta num head.
Nemo its the only "cool looking one" because he is supposed to be fucking Yamato/garlock self insert of Anno and Miyazaki. They even give him a hot blonde babe to carry his baby just because "ohhh he's so cool sugoi Bullshit!" and has all the bitches literally getting wet for him.
Also the girls in this show are SHIT and Bitches! Literally they are the idealization of woman go to the kitchen! And are only good for pairing fodder. They even brought the shit about "girls are like that" when Nadia was going to give the blu water to save "beta cuck jules verne" Jean.
Even the fucking small girl loli ends up getting knocked up by "sanson, what the fuck?!"
I cant anon, this shit gave me morning sickness.
You know what this show lacked? A fucking cool alpha character that we could relate to that didnt happened to be the self insert of the writter. I mean who else do we get? A fucking pussy nobleman, two fodder underlings, some guy that happens to fuck the nurse?
Also why the fuck did Electra fucked Nemo? This is the shit that triggered me the most!
>>138714736
Dude, epilogue was shit as fuck, that shit was unsalvagable. And no I aint watching the movie and probably never will.
And besides, these fuckers arent even true atlanteans.
>>138714639
This was just so fucked up. It's as if there was no other people on the world aside from those of the show.
>>138715525
I skipped both the island arc and Africa arc, aside from the plot important episodes involving that spaceship.
>>138713256
nice wallpaper
>>138715525
what the fuck happens in episode 34? Some anon told me to avoid that shit.
>>138715640
this is a recap episode
(but I kinda like it for the silly songs)
>>138715595
>>138715737
Stupid sexy Marie
>>138715807
She's too cute.
>>138715737
>>138715807
>>138715842
So fucked up, and then you have Anno complaining about Otaku when he himself fed the cause.
>>138715640
Ep34 is fine. It's a musical with some charming songs.
>>138715874
Didn't happen.
>>138709163
Better than Evangelion.
>>138716011
Nice b8.
>>138715942
Wasnt that the whole porpuse of why he did evangelion? Being sick of Otaku?
Nadia was a mistake.
>>138716110
Shut up idiot. Lurk more before spouting nonsense.
>>138715595
I don't doubt that, yeah there were very infuriating moments but the ending made me just sad that they patched it all together like that.
All the females were of their time, so yeah they were back in to the kitchen types except electra. But that was just old timey whimey shit. I twas ok not great but ok in the end.
>>138715595
also at least it got an honest response out of you, but you jumped in to the worst episodes too.
>>138716210
I think the female characters are all pretty realistic and nuanced as far as anime goes.
>>138716368
for the times they were placed in they were more than what you expect a woman of the 19th century to be.
>>138716155
Nice argument nancy.
>>138716368
So you think females are all about selfish dick thinking without an actual character?
>>138716553
>>138716368
This is a pathetic excuse, there where no fucking space ships nor battle ships in the 19th century!
Still doesnt take away the fact of how gross and thrown together at last minute it was.
>>138716210
>I don't doubt that, yeah there were very infuriating moments but the ending made me just sad that they patched it all together like that.
>All the females were of their time, so yeah they were back in to the kitchen types except electra.
And even so you get electra getting wet for the author self insert old fart. Pathetic.
The end was shit.
There where too many male characters but the problem is that there wasnt a single relatable cool male one. Pretty shit to be honest.
>>138717057
>This is a pathetic excuse, there where no fucking space ships nor battle ships in the 19th century!
Yes but this was a take of 20000 Thousand leagues under the sea anime version. So it's going to pick and choose historical accuracies. So you have to take some and leave some. yeah it was thrown together last minute, but I enjoyed it.
i think its time to re watch it.
I dont remember much.
>>138717377
You have a stomach of steel then. This shit literally made me puke.
I also reckon that the ladies with such obligations where only of high class? I mean these people where fucking adventurers that couldnt give a single fuck about things.
Also why was loli put with fucking gaston? Where there no other good looking males around? Was gaston such a beta that he could only get it with a little girl?
The beta and cuck elements of this show are over the charts.
>>138717555
Sonson being a pedo was out of the blue, I figured he'd be a big brother, but yeah I expected the red head to be with Sonson.
>>138709163
>>138717610
Or even electra, but then again electra having being knocked up by fucking nemo was out of the blue as well.
Red head should had gotten with a new awesome one but like I said, this show was incapable of creating cool male characters.
The prince was kind of cool looking but he was a fucking robot.
The show needed more nudity.
>>138718091
If Electra surprised you, you need to do more reading.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electra_complex
>>138718196
This was a kid's show on television. Be glad Anno managed to sneak in the 3 frames of nipples that he did.
>>138718281
Meanwhile on Dragon Ball
>>138718246
See what I meant? This was completely fucked up, and Nemo was turned in my eyes into a fucking disgusting old fart. Thank you Anno, you ruined Nemo for me forever.
>>138718328
Ass is okay. Shota dick is okay.
Nipples? Not okay for little kids once the 90s started rolling along.
Then digital mastering was introduced in the 2000s and nipples became DVD-exclusive feature.
>>138718372
>>138709163
>that entire half year worth of pure dogshit episodes
Utterly awful. I usually love 4 cour shows especially considering how rare they've gotten but Jesus this thing needed to be edited down to a third of it's runtime.
>>138718196
>>138718471
It wasn't entirely Gainax's fault.
It was so popular, NHK started demanding more episodes to milk it as long as possible.
Gainax couldn't keep up with the work load and outsourced the Island episodes to Korea with Shinji Higuchi supposed to be directing that.
That was how we ended up with shit like this.
>>138718674
I know Gainax did have some hand in it, but not enough. There were good moments like the Red Noah >>138718314 and a certain part of episode 25 here.
Finished 3 days ago
fucking great
The Africa episodes are the only really shit ones
The island ones have a drop in animation quality till it gets back to the end game but they were fun and didn't have cuckery in it
>>138710876
>I didn't need to know that Sanson was a pedophile.
It was really common thing to happen 120 years ago
Nothing wrong with it, and they're the cutest
>>138719648
He waited until she was 16 to knock her up and marry her. Which is still legal in most of Europe.
>>138719310
The first island episodes were fine, but the stuff on moving island was already pretty full retarded.
>>138719747
Yes
And it is still a common thing to happen in the outback, and there's really nothing wrong with it, better than her being a slut through her entire life like most people think it is the right thing to do
>>138719915
but it was like what? 3 episodes till they get inside red noah which is actually good? I don't mink it, it's a 39 episodes series and only have 5 bad episodes which is less than many 12 episode series
Does anyone have a webm of the second OP with the new nautilus bits? It's so fucking hype
>>138719648
>>138719918
I love that I was looking for this when I rewatched it and they did put the two together a lot.
>>138720234
>>138720234
Yeah I know it's not the exact frame, but at least its from the BD.
>>138721116
the first time I watched it I noticed it but didn't think they would have the balls to really do it
but yeah they did and it is fucking based
>>138721442
He should have married Grandis and adopted her.
>>138713088
THEY FUKED
>>138721668
why?
>>138721668
Grandis is Christmas Cake.
Marie is delicious loli.
>>138721803
It was have been cute.
>>138721960
>>138718958
See what I mean? this guy just spams garlock everywhere, garlock, garlock, garlock. But without it's cool factor.
Makes me sick.
>>138718674
They should have had some balls and tell NHK to either give them more money or fuck this shit.
>>138722077
But nemo is cool as fuck
>>138722077
>They should have had some balls and tell NHK to either give them more money or fuck this shit.
It wasn't so much funding as it was time. Anno's not that great at managing his time. That's the real reason Eva's final episodes were so fucked. Not so much budget(though that was part of it) as it was he kept running the production too close to the deadline.
So they outsourced the Islands and the Africa arc to have time to work on the Red Noah episodes and the finale.
>>138721960
I think so as well but I feel for Hunson, he should have taken in Electra.
>>138713088
And then he married her.
This series really needs a Rebuild. So much potential.
>>138722920
Apparently he went on to found the Nadia world's Chrystler company and be very very rich. He could probably afford a dozen girls like Electra and none of them coming with Nemo's bastard child.
>>138723117
Wasn't that 3.0?
>>138723179
Imagine what the board meeting must sound like.
>And then, under the south pole, a giant squid attacked the submarine!
>We thought we were going crazy, but we weren't: the island really was moving
>Ancient Atlantian aliens
He probably just doesn't talk about it.
>>138721442
120 years ago there were these mythical creatures calledgentlemenwho werealpha to girls even if they didn't fuck
>>138709163

jesus christ no
>Nadia - Tiffany Grant
>Jean - Brianne Siddall
>Marie - Kari Wahlgren
>Sanson - Crispin Freeman
>Electra - Wendee Lee
>Gargoyle - Dameon Clarke
>it will never happen
Don't get me wrong guys, I enjoyed the fuck out of this show watching in sub, but all along the way there was this small part of my brain that wished it had gotten a competent dub. I checked out the two english dubs it got (one of which was largely incomplete) and they were both awful.
>>138725082
yes they were, there was one with no voices but the mouths were moving it was a complete hack job.
>>138723299
Eh, I have a soft spot for the ADV dub because they hired actual kids to voice the kids. Streamline's is all kinds of bad.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtlHCfoKEXE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhctvZzl_eo
Of course, there's no point in ever redubbing it, especially since Sentai picked up the rights(or carried them over from ADV) for the BD release.
Funi has no chance to make it even worse.
>>138725873
Oops meant to reply to >>138725082
>>138725873
I actually really enjoyed the ADV dub.
>>138726336
I watched it through subbed first, so I have a bit of bias. Still, I was able to get through the ADV dub without wanting to gouge my ears out. Which is more than I can say for most dubs, especially if I hear them after the Jap track.
The child actors were good for kids, but that's not saying much.
I actually liked ADV's Nemo and Gargoyle a lot thought.
>>138726419
ADV Gargoyle is perfect in my opinion.
>>138726419
adv nemo kind of sucked. Until he actually started to have more emotions.
>>138728327
Yeah, I can agree with that.
There was that special edition with island and Africa filler almost completely removed. Any group ever subbed that one?
>>138729095
What the fuck is this shit?

Fuck off.
>>138718429
I sometimes wonder if he does this sick shit on purpose or if he thinks it is actually cute.

>>138729124
Shut the Fuck up you pedophile Nigger!
>>138729095
My Dad knocked my mom pregnant when he was 30 and her 19
It's not that uncommon, anon.
>>138729095
Fuck off
>>138729344
19 NOT 16 Anon.
Even then that's bullshit, he robbed her of chance of experiencing youth, but what did he cared. He had already fucked all the girls and had all the fun that he wanted by then.
>>138729344
Just report and ignore faggots like him.
>>138729478
You got a problem anon?
I you dont like it you may as well go and bark at the wall, because it is going to have the same effect.
>>138729492
The only one violating the rules here it's you fag. You are not brining anything to the table but just same posting shit without brining a single ounce to the argument.
>>138729569
Avatarfagging is against the rules.
And roleplaying belongs only on certain threads on /tg/.
Now you're just going to keep sperging out because people told you to fuck off, driving the thread down even further.
>>138729492
Yeah guy is fucking retarded
Should leave his room more often and see how life in the real world really is
Anno can be an autist but he at least understand that
>>138729622
>Implying I am doing any of that KEK.
Admit it, it is FUCKED UP.
>>138729095
you seem sensitive over this, it was the early 1900s it was acceptable then, plus this was made 20 years ago. Edgar Allen Poe Married a 13 year old.
>>138729669
Anno may be the pot calling the kettle black, but he is right that most anime makers(and subsequently viewers) are basically autists who don't know how to reach for the world beyond the fantasy they find in anime.
>>138729486
that was life back then, girls were old enough to marry at 16 it was worse when in earlier years.
>>138729679
you might be fucked up for not dealing with a simple japanese cartoon, plus it isn't real so you can chill.
>>138729679
A sweet young girl goes for a strong and reliable older man, I don't see the problem.
>>138729815
it's a daddy issue thing. Girls like a strong father figure.
>>138729689
You dont understand anon. It doesnt matter, shit is fucked up because it is plain electra complex.
Edgar Alan Poe may have married a 13 year old but I bet your ass he didnt know her since she was 5.
Then again that is a great example you give, because Poe was one sick deranged fuck.
>>138729815
Pedo confirmed.
>>138729852
This shit doesnt excuse how fucked up sanson was for pursuing a girl he knew since she was 5. That is like being a pedo and commiting incest at the same time.
>>138729492
Why are you so mad?
>>138729669
>>138729720
Well I always knew he was kind of fucked but not THIS fucked.
>>138709163
It was good. It dragged too long, especially the island arc, and Nadia was a cunt for 2/3rds of it no matter how hot she was. Still, goddamn, it definitely worth watching.
>>138731032
I don't know where the fuck you think you are, but normalfags like you don't belong around here.
Fuck off.
>>138710379
It really pissed me off. For almost the entire series jean was a competent cast remember, pulling shit off all the time and saving the day. Then, last couple episodes, he is pure liability. Everything went WORSE with him there than it would have if he had just stayed in the car.
>>138731140
In the end, he's just a kid who's gotten way in over his head.
>>138731335
Yeah, but he kept up the ENTIRE series. Then he just falls down and dies like an idiot.
>>138731032
oh he knew her, that's why he married her. I don't condone it it's just the way it was back then, that's history and frankly Anno wanted that to be apart of his story mainly because that kind of thing was of the period at that time.
>>138731364
He really didn't. And you seem to be sperging that he didn't Macgyver his way out of the end.
When all times before, aside from the island dreams and the horrible musical recap episode had more than enough time to work on his inventions. Which also tended to fail as often as not. Not just magically whip up solutions at the drop of a hat.
>>138731134
He's been shitting up the thread for hours now. Just ignore the idiot.
>>138731364
kind of funny and tragic in the ADV version.
just a quick WAAAH and splat. made me laugh at first. Then made me realism how fragile he was, plus in these love stories the main love intrest always get mortally wounded near the end to show how the MC truly loves that person, or vise versa, the point is they made him fragile for Nadia to rescue him because of true love nonsense, but god damn it always makes great drama.
>>138731596
It's also shocking for a children's show to flat out kill the young protagonist right at the climax.
Anno was really going for the shock value, especially by making it abundantly clear that he was well and truly dead. Not just injured. Not just Wile E. Coyote'd. Dead.
>>138709720
>you don't see Jon being a horny little fuck for other women
Conveniently forgetting all the staring at Electra's tits he did, I see.
>>138731134
so you are confirming yourself to be a fucking disgusting freak?
>>138731434
Bullshit shenanigans, doesnt take away the fact of what I said.
Then again your folks have a 10 year difference, sanson was 20! He literally played with her.
Setting it on period at the time it's a cheap lazy justification for such matter.
>>138731364
Yeah, it was hilarious and retarded how he died... pathetic.
>>138731084
Yeah but the ending made me vomit. true story.
>>138731686
good file name by the way, but yeah it wasn't anno though it was always anime that did this. It was the shit got real moment. It always happens to the Protag who has a love intrest he/she really cares about, all I can think about is slayers atm, where Gourey gets kiddnapped.
>>138731952
no he did that to just Nadia I think, he was curious but for some reason it was always Nadia he perved over.
same VA
>>138732251
Well, Nadia is fucking hot as hell. Good enough reason for me.
>>138732193
again anon there are many people here who have families who have that age gap.
my parents are 13 years apart, I get your sickness toward this relationship, but I bet you she came on to him first. Young girls are like that when they hit teenage years, boys her age don't interest her, and this guy saved her life countless of times, at least she was 16 when this marriage happend.
The ending wasn't good I agree, but I am happy to see a conclusion for everyone instead of leaving after red Noa blowing up.
>>138732352
Anon, the girl was a fucking teenager, the guy was a 30 year old something that literally knew her since she was a child.
I am sorry anon, but you just cant argue against that blasphemy.
I get what you mean. Altought I personally prefer more ambiguous shit without timeskips, such as EOE.
>>138732307
she was, it was was wierd to see her kind side when she found out Jean looked for medicine for her. Like she would yell at him but instead it was "oh you naughty boy"
>>138732417
That was when he was giving her the shampoo while she was in the shower.
Where the Korean scrubs forgot to draw in Nadia in the first shot here.
>>138732398
you don't know if he was 30, Grange was in her 20s, Danson and Hansen could have been 19 or 18, in terms of anime that's grown adults. we sure she was 16 at the time skip?it was 1887 or 1888, Marie could have been 6 so she could have been 18 or 19 when she was pregnant.
>>138717555
How did you manage to finish the entire series if you hated it so much?
>>138732466
god damn this is hilarious, this is why outsourcing never works well.
>>138732518
he said he only watch the last 10 episodes, Op which is me, watched the whole thing, I was able to enjoy it more since I didn't start on the island African arc.
>>138732497
Sanson was 28 at the start of the show. The timeskip was 12 years meaning he'd have been 40 when they got married.
And the average age for girls to get married at the turn of the century was 17, so he was only a year off.
It's a little unusual to have such an age gap, but the retard throwing the assburger bitch fit really should just be ignored.
>>138732574
I missed his sperg rant. My god, what an autist.
How does he even watch any chinese cartoons?
>>138732576
actually back then it wasn't uncommon for a much older guy to marry a really young girl, hell even now Trump does it.
Mostly though it's over land and the girl's Dowry
>>138732600
right now he's writing a lengthy response as to why I bet.
>>138732621
>much older guy to marry a really young girl,
Only if he's really rich.
And since Marie's parents were dead, Sanson wouldn't have had to pay any dowry.

you don't know there may have been an inheritance waiting for her.

It was really this fucked up. the fact that you conveniently ignore the fact that he literally was his big brother since she was 5 fucking years old. You are being biased as fuck.
>>138732574
Well he was going to get dissapointed either way. So wathever.

>but you get that sad feeling it's over.
That's my favorite kind of ending. If you don't get attached enough that the closure hits you like that, or if it doesn't close properly leaving you with wanting more even with knowing that continuing on would probably ruin the moment, then I feel it's a terrible or mediocre conclusion. The latter being examples like some KyoAni features.
>>138709240
Fuck that island arc shit. It was directed by a different person as filler while they were making the finishing arc, and it felt like a generic anime during those episodes. It's funny how they released a set of the series without those episodes because they were that irrelevant.
>>138733436
I wish I had gotten the set with them cut out. I was so angry.
>>138733411
I don't have the patience to go on that long.
I'll just post one of the artbooks and maybe some more risque fanart if I'm still awake at the end.
>>138733465
That was the Nautilus Adventure cut that Anno did and I'm pretty sure it was only on VHS in Japan. Maybe had a DVD release, but all of those I could find were the full series.
>>138733436
op here, yah I agree it's a bittersweet feeling. I got so attached to chrono crusade and Eva and all kinds of shit, Fuck even Redline I knew was a movie I was sad it was over. Fuck me TTGL Outlaw Star Big O and good ol cowboy beebop. Just got that feeling back for soooo many years.
>some Gunstar Heroes villains were inspired by Grandis Gang
>>138733495
Post artbooks then
>>138733551
Yeah and the jewel you get for beating them is blue and diamond shaped.
Of course the Grandis Gang themselves were based on the Dorombo Gang from Yatterman.
>>138733551
wasn't Trombon gang the same way, there were a lot gangs that seemed to be inspired by Grandis gang.
>>138733554
My god, hard like diamonds
Don't stop anon, I'm here because of you
>>138733628
go I love grandis, she wad the perfect strong woman in the series, full of flaws but man she was entertaining.
>>138733586
Well, as mentioned above, the prototype was the Doronjo gang from Yatterman. Even Team Rocket is kind of like that, as it's said that Musashi herself was inspired in part by Doronjo.
>>138733672
I've got a 60 second timer between posts and almost 90 more images from this artbook.
I'll be here for the next hour and a half at least. This sort of thing makes me glad I bought a pass and don't have to type captchas.Of course, I bought it to support mootykins before he abandoned us.
>>138712439
The original Team Rocket.

So cruel and so beautiful. Those were good times.
I-wannabe-oldschool-Gainax fag here, is finishing this series worth it?
I get the most autistic feeling when watching this show, and it is autistic because it has nothing to do with the show itself: it's literally too charming for me to watch numerous episodes of at a time.
I've reached that point of my life where I've become so used to shit I now need it to survive.
>>138734500
Stick with it through episode 21. Then it'll go to all the shit you can handle for the filler arcs.
If I have a daughter I'm gonna name her Nadia Tbh.
Also why did Jean have to get killed in the old scooby doo stairs turn into ramp method? Who gets scooby-doo'd?
>>138734554
He was just a boy, a weak and frail, powerless human. So easy to kill and they didn't even need all those great plans they had been using till then.
That scene opened my eyes and that's why power level-type anime don't work on me.
>>138734554
It wasn't the stairs so much as the entire elevated platform he was trapped on.
Thanks for the imagedump anon. How's the download link coming along?
>>138734648
Oh yeah, forgot about that. All done.

And since I also had it zipped up, here's the Gainax Art Museum collection. A few sets of fanart Gainax used as the front page of their website. This collection is from the early 2000s, the latest seems to be from around 2004.
https://mega.nz/#!hdkVFJib!8YeEBI8lNpNMbOmoNx0Cb5nvWapYWfqVTaSzAo3RwKQ
Gainax did do at least one more set for newer art, but I can't find a copy of that anywhere. Not even on their website to buy anymore.
>>138734692
Thanks for both of them! Sad that the newer art isn't available.
>>138734726
Yeah, I chalk it up there with the hundreds of images for Blue Uru, the sequel to Honneamise, that Gainax released back in '98 on CD to try to drum up interest and funding to get it made.
It didn't work and I can't find any of those images at all. Just a few scattered references to Gainax selling the CDs.
Hell, if I could find the CD for sale, I'd totally buy it just to have the images.
Because I'm a fag for old Gainax like that.

Picked the fuck up. Been chasing this feeling ever since Spirited Away left me hollow when I first saw it a million years ago.
I love this series. It's charming, imaginative and has just the right amount of tease.
Last of the artbook collection.
Surprised anyone else is still here.
Ah fuck it. I'll post a few more.
>>138735388
I'll never be able to watch it for the first time again.;_;

Thanks anon. Good night.
A while back we used to get a bunch of threads about making minor changes to anime titles like "add/remove/replace one letter, what happen?" sort of things.
Made this for an "add a letter" thread and really haven't had any real excuse to post it in a long time.
Fuck it, I'm making an excuse now.
And last picture from me for real this time.

wow, that's amazing. need more art like this.
The art is amazing, thank you.
Rebuild of Nadia...in 20 yrs.
>>138723117
>Rebuild. So much potential.
Potential for turning the story into shitty fanfiction?
And Anno no longer has creativity and artistic vision that shined in Nadia and Evangelion, nor interest in properly directing anything major at this point. Seen 3.0? Tasteless clusterfuck.
