NaruHina should've started being further developed before the Neji fight, and at the absolute latest, after her confession during the Pain Invasion Arc. Kishimoto also dropped the ball on developing Naruto and Sasuke's friendship, early on, so that their status as former friends was later questionable. None of that bullshit here; Bolt and Salad actually start off liking each other.
