There's supposed some emphasis on Mari because it goes back to when Mari didn't want Kiyoshi to come. And the meaning doesn't really change here. People can pull that sentence out of context either way. Still they shouldn't change the voice, that is bad translating.

There are some "liberal" if not shitty translated sentences/words in almost all the chapters. Like how some anon above said that in a chapter they added a "Kiyoshi-kun" that wasn't there, or kanji translated as something completely different that make no sense in context.

That's not really true, you can pull "let's go eat, Kiyoshi" out of context too since it's only directed at kiyoshi here. Mari could just as easily have sad "Let's all go out to eat, Kiyoshi". Also "Take me out" has some ambiguity to it, it doesn't have to mean me and only me. The problem is that some overzealous shippers were/are taking it out of context. It's true that the voice change probably egged it on though.

I actually prefered the take me out line a little because it reminded me of Mari's verbal mistakes, like with operation operation and finger in me.

The context, ie. the previous panels, makes it clear that they're talking about a group date. In either translations the shippers don't really have a leg to stand on. If Mari and Kiyoshi indeed were to go on a seperate date they would have made that much more clear.

I think Hiramoto didn't make it clear that they were talking about a group-thing in that one panel because he wanted to show that Mari was opening up to Kiyoshi.
