Is /a/ as hyped as me? http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/10/24/new-full-metal-panic-anime-announced
Of course I'm hyped, hopefully we'll get more info in the next few months.
Already confirmed (In Another's afterword) to be a sequel and that it'll to cover all of the remaining story.
>tfw it doesn't happen because of studio fail
It will obviously not be Gonzo because they're pretty much dead. KyoAni would be the best option but they're not doing it. That leaves one of the many third rate studios that will somehow make a worse job than Gonzo did, or JC Staff that will shit all over the source material.
Just a question if you know something about the rest of the story.
Is going to be like the 1st season or more like second raid?
I really didnt enjoy so much second raid, but I need to rewatch it again, it was 10 fucking years ago.
The story after the point of S2 turns into a massive shit show
I'm hyped for it and I picked up FMP after I saw this news when it was announced, but I wonder what it will be made out to me
It will be much more like second raid, seeing as it has a massive arc for the conclusion of the story.
The rest of the plot is too convoluted.
>Not by Kyoani
It's like Gunslinger girl all over again.
God help us if I'm right.
Does that mean you care more about the studio than the series itself?
What was with all that >"fmp s3 never" all over? Is /a/ really this pretentious?
I think a lot of people just really liked Fumoffu, me included. The serious parts of FMP were meh, so I was hoping for another season similar to Fumoffu if it were picked back up.
I believe the series is just too old and irrelevant now to hire a top rated studio. It will suffer the same fate as that Haruhi spin-off series that fell into obscurity. Actually, Satellite seems like the perfect literally who studio for the job.
The rest of the series is pretty much drama, death and bullshit.
I saw the move to adapt Yuki-chan as a way to test the waters, to see if Haruhi was still relevant after all these years. It failed miserably meaning the series doesn't even have brand loyalty anymore.
Except FMP still has projects going on, namely Another and Zero. Gatoh is a man that fought for his franchise.
Tanigawa got tired of writing and hasn't been doing anything for years. What was the last thing he wrote, Rainy Day? Random Numbers? It was like, 2013.
>that part where she slits a guy's throat and they show the trachea
Hopefully you're not expecting more of that in the next season. You'll be heavily compensated for that though, Burning One Man Force is one of the hypest things I've ever read.
Rakugo flopped and Konosuba will sell about 6 to 8k. That's not really saving anime, specially when a fucking ONA from the yearly bakemono series beat them in rankings merely hours after it went up for preorders.
