It's for edgy teenagers looking for a "dark mystery story" with "feels" and "drama".

I felt like the whole coma thing was pretty retarded, and the final standoff was kind of silly, idk. Not sure how/if they'll fit it all into the anime, given that they only have 2 episodes left to do it.
The suspense and the buildup of the first half was phenomenal though. It really got my hopes up for some crazy shit. I just wish we got some explanation for why the whole rerun/revival thing happens to him in the first place.

It was obvious from the start who the killer was, thus it failed as a mystery story. Most people only cared about it for the universal secret desire that just about everyone shares of "another shot with your childhood crush", which was killed by the NTR end.

The only time the manga was actually interesting was when it took place in 1988 everything in the present was bad, the author clearly is better at writing the story in that time period because he is more familiar with that time, should of ended it there.

I always like manga or anime that involve time travel for some reason.

I wonder what he would have changed. I doubt it would have only been the Kayo/Airi thing, the author didn't seem to care as much about that as the audience. It would be nice if he'd use his alternative ending ideas for the anime which will most likely have a slightly different ending anyway.

Yes. But we only have two episodes to cover tons of manga content and we got extra scenes with Kayo + the director is a Kayofag so it could be that the ending will a bit different. I am kinda neutral although I think a Kayo end would fit better into the little piece of remaining time the anime has. Also, both fractions would have "their" end if manga and anime had a different outcome. I won't be mad if it's the Airi end though, I just hope they'll cover the good scenes.
