The sequel is already out. It is called Tsubasa Chronicles. I read the description. It sounds stupid. Sakura loses her memory so they can tell the same story all over again, but worse.
CCS > Yu-Gi-Oh tho. Sakura would wreck Yugi in a duel.
>One is getting a new movie and 2 chapters that connect the manga with the movie, and still has an on going TV series
>The other got fucked over by a terrible manga series that ruined the characters, bad retconns, and only getting a shitty one shot chapter, WITH MODERN CLAMP
>Who is your new series?
But what allowed that to happen? CCS was so good, so perfect, that there could be no more. Yu-Gi-Oh sucked so hard that any old shit they barf up now is just fine.
Do you like me again anon?
>Sequel announce to CCS
>called Card Captor Sakura: Zewei R
>its a battle focused mahou shoujo series like sailor moon
>all the girls now have magic for reasons
>team is Sakura, Tomoyo, Meirin, Rika and Shoaran (who turns into a girl for battle)
>lesbianism is now blatant and pure perverted loli fanservice runs rampant
>series falls into money grabbing spin-off hell for many seasons
I already have my Sakura Yu-Gi-Oh crossover worked out, bruh. A big corny three parter.
Atem has just a couple more star chips to collect and is heading for the battle city finals when he and his friends are detained by a dimensionless traveler, who forces Atem to duel with his deck on the line. Atem opens the duel strong, but when he is about to make his big power move, the traveler shuts him down to everyone's shock. Who is this dueler?
Our traveler begins to explain. The world's cards have been calling, crying out about being used for evil, and our traveler has come to rescue them and is now after Atem's cards, which have been at the center of it. Atem is skeptical of our traveler's ability to hear cards, but as the duel goes on our traveler keeps drawing just the right card needed to stifle his attacks. Atem demands to know who our traveler is, and our traveler tells him "I am the heart of the cards."
Atem's cards begin to fail him. He can't draw the ones he needs, while the traveler keeps getting better cards. He accepts that the traveler is the heart of the cards and questions his ability to win the duel. Our traveler tells him the duel is over. Atem thinks real hard about his friends, his mission, his cards, and whether he is truly part of the evil that he has been charged as. He decides that he is not evil, but he will accept his card's judgment, and with or without them, he will fight evil no matter what. He draws, and his cards respond. At last, it is just what he needs, Swords of Revealing Light. Our traveler watches in amazement. In those three turns, Atem draws card after card that he needs and is poised for an amazing comeback. Alas, the three turns expire one turn too soon and our traveler ends the duel. Atem gives his deck to our traveler and apologizes for the trouble he has caused them. She hands them back, citing that because they had listened and responded to him instead of her, he could not have been evil. What's more, she leaves him in charge of protecting the cards of his world, and he agrees to take on the responsibility. They say their good byes. Our traveler returns to her world in a magical show of light. Atem and his friends head for the Battle City finals with a complete set of star chips, where the big evil awaits them.
Sayoran's long-lost older brother returns and immediately falls in love with Sakura, who does nothing but blush and inner monologue. Meanwhile, Sensei has been put in prison for child molestation and develops a crush on Sakura's father, whom he meets during community service. Tomoyo has meanwhile installed hidden cameras all over Sakura's house for totally-not-creepy admiration purposes. AN ANCIENT EVIL RISES in the form of Sakura's mother comming back from the dead and begins having a necrophiliac incestuous affair with Toya. Jealous, Yukito rapes Sayoran to prove a point.
I dunno. I didn't watch it, and I'm not gonna . . . I think.
>The C-W release of the series is in HD, yet compressed down to 7GB
>The video quality is still good
>But they didn't bother to use the fucking official subs, going with shitty fansubs that go out of synch with the audio
I could have had my cake and eaten it, too.
Not bad, but my idea for a crossover would have been.
>Sakura being possesed by an evil force (the one that corrupted marrik perhaps
>Sakura being killed
>The evil spirit traveling to sakura's world and taking away the love (like the prophecy of the final judgement stale world) and replacing it with hate and madness
>Somehow Atem getting development and Sakura being rescued out of hell.Shadow Realm
>A new character from the Sakura world being there too...
Best character reporting in
get a load of this faggot.
This shit is still up while our thread died!?
>one of the few series which had a solid ending and doesn't need a sequel
>CLAMP, BeeTrain and Madhouse will fix that
Meanwhile Angelic Layer had so much unresolved character story they could have made two more seasons. Fuck this, I'm quitting anime.
For two months.
Holy shit, is that, like, Tsubasa Chronicles or something?
Mizuno Ami was also in CCS.
Chibi Usa is also a calm, mature girl when she's not around her mother. If anything, they would get together fine.
And even if Chibi Usa did act out, Sakura would just 'Hoe...' and not respond. Just like she did with Mei Ling. its actually pretty amazing that Sakura is so likable when most of her character is very indirect.
Oh yes, I remember that. I was like WTFFFFFFF.
>obsessively talks about one or two topics
>lack of emotion in dangerous situations
>lack of response from touching
>insanely dedicated hobby/skills very young
>constantly needs an adult present (bodyguards)
>she had many of those costumes ready to go before sakura became a magical girl
Did Tomoyo have some form of autism?
Chibiusa would try to fuck Kero. You know she would.
And Sakura and Tomoyo appeared in pokemon.
Man, that's sweet.
cameos in anime? here's another from CCS
sorry for the shitty quality
even does the same camera angels ass the movie.
>Chibiusa, Hotaru, Sakura and Tomoyo adventures/sol never
>he watches the original Japanese
CCS 2 good
Sayoran and Sakura have gotten married, they had two kids who have grown up blah blah 50 years later. Sakura and Sayoran are now long dead, but the sakura cards still remain guarded by kero. Even after Sakura's death. Her great granddaughter or whatever opens the book. the same shit happens. she looks exactly like sakura only it's really really cyberpunk because it's the future but also still the 90s. keros sad because sakura didn't live forever. it's CCS and Lain mixed together.
>Sayoran and Sakura have gotten married
They had one male kid. Who eventualy meets and then fights against Misaki in Angelic Layer. Then forms a relationship with her and marries her. And the circle is complete
As long as you ignore the existence of Chobits and Tsubasa.
I am majorly fucked
I didn't give a single shit about this shitty song during the million times they played it in the show.
Then after finishing the show, heard it once while combing through the OST, and it was just wonderful. It took me right back to that roof top, and I was reliving all those times when the gang was all together like I was really there. Thanks, Tomoyo, and thanks, CCS.
My CCS crossover is with Nanoha.
Nanoha and Sakura discuss various methods of making friends and their pros and cons, while Tomoyo and Fate sit off to the side discussing their lesbian love interests. In the end Sakura decides Nanoha is too harsh, and Nanoha decides Sakura isn't listening to her.
And then The Fight Is On.
>And then The Fight Is On.
Are you joking? Why would the strongest magical girl get into a fight with another?
After a friendly magical arm-wrestling competition to size out the strengths, it would be all over.
There would be no fighting.
To be honest I'm glad it's probably just a oneshot. With any luck it'll just be some side story that takes place sometime during the series instead of a sequel too. At least with these things there's a chance it won't be total garbage.
I can't see them fighting unless there was some big misunderstanding. Sakura is a sweet girl, but she's not a coward.
Also, the only person that Chibiusa is a brat towards is Usagi.
this thread will be gone when I awake.
Well, nothing has happened with it since the OVA so no. I'd still like a reboot or something, though.
I always imagined Sakura becoming Tomoyo's personal secretary when the latter becomes the CEO of Piffle Princess. Out of pure friendship, Syaoran is rich as fuck so she won't really need the job.
It is pretty okay, I don't know why /a/ hates it this badly. The Syaoran and Sakura are different from the CCS ones. I get the plot can be confusing at times, but in the end you are going to understand it. But if you have a strong hate for clones and time travelers then don't read it.
Back in the day I followed a couple of spaniards that went to the expo, they were pretty happy about the whole thing. Or are you talking about when someone asked them about Clover and X?
Not that anon, but I did a quick google search.
Their line was extremely long and you couldn't leave it to go do other things until their thing started, the panel was mostly just a video they made beforehand, the Q&A session was really short, and they didn't even bother to quickly sketch something for those charity auctions like everyone else did.
This is all I want in a magical girl show. Though doesn't this already exist?
I was wrong. This thread is still up!
depends which yugioh season
first? dimensional fuckery yugi/atem somehow get sakura's cards, of course they would have to be adapted/watered down to play the dam fucking game and they somehow guide him to beat a big bad and return them to their owner
must have lots of MONSUTA CARUDO of course
Would you watch a shot-by-shot remake of the anime set to the original audio (with some redone sound effects and/or a remixed soundtrack) or would you rather have it completely remade from the ground up?
It's not about whether or not it needs to be done, it's about picking your poison. Because it's gonna happen eventually.
Maybe after the end of the series but before Bonds of Time and the new movie
And have the demon who possesed Marrik Return.
And as for Sakura, have it be a couple of years after the end of Sealed Card, but not much.
What's wrong with it? Seems like a standard Yu-Gi-Oh duel to me. All the ups and downs, the drama, the mystery.
Yeah, but how can we have that lovely moment at the end if Atem doesn't lose? And you know what? He also wins. Remember at the end, the cards listen to him instead of her, the supposed master of the cards. So, while she may have won his thing (the duel), he won hers (mastery of the cards). It's a nice little cross win. Don't you see?
Exactly. If you can't knock a guy off a castle wall to win, how do you ever expect to defeat this monster?
Clow Cards maybe. Sakura Cards are another beast entirely. She remade them with her own magic and are part of her.
There's also Sakura's uncanny luck and her own spell. The only way Yami can win is if Sakura ends up being benefited by his victory. Millenium Items can't beat Hitsuzen.
Sadly I don't have any pics of Meiling.
Everyone stopped caring when I started watching it. :(
What the hell? Neither. The original is already perfect.
So, what battle costumes are your favorite?
I'm a filthy casual who likes the first one most.
I don't have a favorite. She had this wonky ass hat in this one though.
I like the first one and the cat one.
objectively the worst.
a challenger appears
I like this Aladdin suit on the left but I think that's from Tsubasa Chronicles
Full version: https://imgur.com/6OrAH6Q
omg, why would someone do this?
You know what really needs to happen in the one shot? They need to let Toya see Mirror again.
It was the saddest thing in CCS what happened to them.
In a thread a long time ago I bagged on the OST. I was wrong. It's great.
Should I get it? The figma doesn't have a moveable torso and it looks less like the anime. I liked the Sailor Moon ones, too.
>spending money on toys.
is it wrong i would love a massive magical battle tournament crossover featuring the best MGs from the 90s up until now?
>the Sailor scouts fighting all those Cheap direct SM/MG clone shows from the 90s
>the Precures kicking asses left and right
>bonding and friendship between the different crews (i dunno why but team sakura and team madoka would get along so well, giving us some of the more epic battles of the tournament)
>all the girls being freaked the hell out of the antics of the other more weird/crazier MG shows.
Not terrible taste but I always loved this one.
Clamp gonna Clamp.
>tfw your best friend has a latex and maid catgirl fetish
Irrelevant. They are going to butcher it. At least their drawing game is better than ever, so there's that.
Looking back changed my opinion of Tomoyo too. I didn't care much about her while watching the series. But now that I have finished it, I remember her so fondly and appreciate her a lot more.
I am gonna take a lot more Tomoyo screenshots when I rewatch it.
no... no it shouldn't.
