Wrong, Naruto didn't care about that because he understood why Sakura was doing it(apparently you didn't). Naruto only cared about she lying to herself in order to try and make him happy in some way, he's more mature than you give him credit for, and certainly more mature than you which is pretty fucking hilarious.

One of the problems I had with THE LAST was that it butchered his character to the point he was like in the beginning of the manga and not the man he grew up to be. He needed to be literally mindfucked and told by Sakura that he loved Hinata in order to man the fuck up, the movie was a fucking mess but that pissed me off the most since Pierrot could've done it so much better than that and instead we got the fucking genjutsu scene.
Hinata deserved better than that as a character being barely relevant in the main story and then her own movie had shit like that in it, fuck Pierrot.

As to your thing about Sakura.
Naruto realized he would never have a chance with Sakura in the hospital scene when she hugged Sasuke, he had some hope left I assume but he just grew out of it over the years, or at least when The Last happened.


Anyways, romance in Naruto is shit, Kishimoto doesn't care about it one-bit and it's not important so I don't care either.
