Please, now there's some sort of Othinus-Index alliance going on as they're the only close girls to Touma. Her villainess is all in the past. Touma doesn't care about the suffering she put him through either, and she wasn't a love interest or a heroine when she did that.

Her motivation was simple but it made sense for a millennial god. The uniqueness of her circumstances made it interesting. Her chuuni design is just icing on the cake.

She had a huge role in exploring Touma's character in NT9 and after disarming him with perfect world caused a long-awaited development. Too bad following volumes so far abandoned it, ruining a great opportunity to make Touma more active and give his some goals.
I also liked that she was saved and befriended in a completely different way than other characters (well, in NT9 at least, NT10 was a usual save-the-princess scenario). She wasn't protected from some BBEG, she wasn't punched into obedience, she was understood, obtained a bond she subconsciously wanted. Touma realized that their wish is the same - returning to their original world, even if it means sacrificing and hurting others. And when he was defeated, he sincerely wished her to succeed.

In NT10 there was a subtle, but really intriguing thing - Touma was concerned about supporting Othinus even after solving an immediate problem. He appeared to be personally involved, beyond his usual life correcting role. Before he used to rescue a person in distress and just move along.

Also lately Touma and Othinus have some great interactions, especially contrasting with Index's TOUMA, FODD.

I believe that opportunities that NT9 created were mostly missed, especially when it comes to Touma's development and establishing Othinus as a special character, but I still think that she's one of the best things that happened in NT.
