11 days away anons
D.Gray-man, Ensemble Stars, SB69 shorts + S2 get airing announcement. Touken Ranbu anime and more Natsume anime.
Concrete Revolutio talk on Saturday, and Bakuon on Sunday.
March 27 will be a great day for SB69 fans.
Show By Rock!! will have tons of announcements.
Criticrista manga, the anime shorts and the sequel, new CD singles, list of events, new merchandise.
Sanrio is going all out.
I expect nothing, nothing at all.
What I want is for Origin's not-shit chapters to be made into a TV series with a budget, but we'll probably get more Iron Boring Orphans.
I thought the new series was adapting the manga?
Yuyushiki S2 announcement. All the signs point to it which means it will never happen.
Hello!! KINMOZA ＆ YUYUSHIKI GOUDOUDOUSOUKAI
>Yumi Uchiyama,Rumi Okubo,Minami Tsuda,Manami Tanaka,Risa Taneda,Nao Toyama,Asuka Nishi
>The show jointed with ”Hello!! KINMOZA”＆”YUYUSHIKI” from MangaTime Kirara will be on the way to the RED stage of AnimeJapan2016!
>Cocoa right in the center
>no Gochiusa panel
>but menu has Gochiusa-themed food for some reason
I don't know what they were thinking.
Princess Shuzo is kinda cute.
I just hope we're going to get the Bais or the Ninjins in the shorts at least.
Yeah I hope so. They got their kemomomimi forms now, so they should be able to appear in the anime too.
Fuck anime japan, that's for plebs, who else going to wonder fest this summer?
I'd actually be very happy with a S3 railgun.
Apparently IG bought the rights off of Gainax and have stated that they actually have plans to use them.
My dick's pretty hard. Even if it sucks, it means there'll be new merch and I can finally get my hands on a Canti figure.
I.G. knows they can't fuck with the original. I don't know why I.G. should focus on a true sequel instead of milking it for shitty merchandises.
I want to see adult Naota get in a grown up relationship with Haruko.
Can a man really dream this big?
Maybe Japan are finally gonna do the Hollywood thing of remaking all the shows that were good in an attempt to try and recapture the magic, as opposed to making reams and reams of shitty new series?
Yeah Ninamori always seemed like the canon choice.
I hope that it's a sequel series, doing the whole real-time-progression thing like Toy Story 3 did. Have Naota struggling to come to grips with being an adult.
And then have Haruko comes back to NTR Ninamori.
And ShipMaidens 2, presumably.
>tfw I can name over half of the characters in the OP image
>More of the same shit we've been getting for the past couple years.
>Absolutely nothing remotely fresh or exciting. >Lots of products being hawked
>Maybe a new trailer or two for upcoming spring stuff
I remember last year having dick fuck all featured worth writing home about.
Sunrise is going to do absolutely nothing just like the last couple years. I've pretty much lost faith in them as a studio that exists and actually makes things besides a random Gundam OVA or two. I'm even convinced Love Live Sunshine is just a mirage now too. Event is going to be dominated by light novel and Fate shit probably.
Non Non Biyori: The Early Years
Anime original by Silver Link, written by Yoshida Reiko
Would rather they animate Hikage's adventures in Tokyo.
Only I can expect LoveLive: Sunshine to fail expectation since it doesn't live up to the original cast.
Sunrise merchandise makes them motivated. One thing matters Sunrise doesn't flex it's muscles on this years event then they are somewhat fucked.
Sunrise working originals and sequels, call A-1 to do a 3rd season.
Up until now, only two VAs are announced. Both of them are new cast, one is the protagonist
It's expected to have some changes in the cast as some of them wasn't able to live long enough to take the role once again, but I don't want the entire old cast to change
>Only mecha reps are Gundam and Macross
>what is NGE
Then again how could Gundam NOT be there? Sunrise has successfully killed off the classic Super Robots of the 70's-90's so I guess there's not much competition aside from Macross
What's the point if it's A-1 doing another shitty thing since they'll just phone it in or miss the point like they always do. They got much of the same staff to handle Asterisk and it's fucking dog shit for it. They just don't get how to make anything fun or enjoyable or god forbid tongue in cheek like Sunrise did with Horizon which is the entire point of why a lot of people don't want A-1 to get certain things. Sorry but as improbable as it is to believe Sunrise Studio 8 did a better job at their 2 runs at light novel series with almost zero experience in the medium beforehand than A-1 has done in it's entire existence with all the popular LN shit they've adapted.
In any case Sunrise's commitment towards originals is the main reason I don't expect any more Horizon out of them. The reason I don't expect much of anything out of them period is that I'm getting the impression something has gone wrong at the studio with just how little it's putting out lately. I mean it's a massive studio with possibly only Toei being bigger and yet almost nothing. A few Gundam OVA and TV series here a Love Live movie there and a Gintama season and upcoming Accel World movie. They teased that Mirai Arise show back in late 2014 and just nothing about it since.
Still waiting for season 3 of Yama no Susume.
They didn't kill them off, what's actually happened is Bandai Visual and King Records have quietly acquired all the rights to the ones from the 70's-90's period that they didn't already have before and have been releasing box sets for them that have actually been doing pretty well. Macross is even now a shared trademark of Bandai Visual and Big West so technically Gundam and Macross are run by the same company. Also just nobody else is really good at producing mecha/action series besides Bandai and King (Fafner, Symphogear). Aniplex even tried with Valvrave and Aldnoah Zero but we all know how that turned out and they're about the only real possible competition at a big production level.
If there was more demand for super robot stuff I'm sure Bandai would spring for a new Mazinger or god forbid Gunbuster or something. Frankly the only reason I think Macross Delta got greenlit is because it's Macross which is due and because it has idols in it which is their other big draw aside from robots.
>It has idols in it which is their other big draw aside from robots.
What about tanks? It's less a matter of if and more of when for second season considering the movie was a monster hit and the original series is doing better on Amazon than the current season. It'd be too early to see something announced at AJ2016 though probably.
I really want to believe that Banrise is going to fully awake the sleeping dragon but they've just been so consistently quite lately. Even largely dormant Gundam and Love Live are still monsters, them actually going on a number of projects would be the equivalent of a hydra.
>to fully awake the sleeping dragon
Yes, Yes I feel it burning and also this is a wyvern not a dragon
All I want.
Honestly the way last year and Dengeki fest went I expect this along with just pure concentrated disappointment and salt. Aniplex, Pony Canyon and Bamco producers are just going to bet up there and wave their dicks at the audience for a couple days about how well they're doing and how grateful they are to the fans to the point where they get nothing but more of the same....or just nothing but more propaganda.
7seeds anime, please. For the 15th anniversary.
Or even just an announcement for 2017.
Unless Kyoto Animation decides to rename itself to Tokyo Animation, the chances for a Full Metal Panic show to be done by them is quite small, since the new FMP project will be animated by a studio in Tokyo.
Im waiting for some news about the new FMP anime, and Sunrise to give some news about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s78A3kNa3Kk and Classicloid.
Also, I hope for an anime adaptation of Dungeon Meshi or Tate no Yuusha gets announce too.
