Translated Overlord chapter 13 is out. I'll dump the chapter.
>Absolutely loyalty comes in many forms
We got some new spilers from BD6 related to Ainz and Ulbert:
While they travel through Nazarick it's revealed that Ainz and Ulbert only have the most basic of education (about elementary school level). While they reminisce about their past they talk about how their parents died: Ulbert's parents died in a hazarous work environment and the insurance paid poorly, while Ainz mother died of exhaustion at the kitchen while making Ainz's favourite dish. Apparently Touch-Me is the exact opposite of them: he had a happy childhood, loving parents, is rich (don't know for sure if he's rich or if his wife is rich) and has a loving wife and child, but part of that we alredy knew so no suprises there.
That's very interesting info, maybe that's the main reason why Ulbert is so jealous of Touch Me.
this reminded me of something I never asked
why did ainz use a shark cyclone? wouldnt the sharks be something shalltear could kill and absorb like her summons?
did he just not think she would be focused on healing at the time?
or are the sharks just made of magic and not actual sharks
Done. Thoughts on the chapter? It's not perfect, but I think it's better than what the anime did.
So what are you guys reading in the meantime? I've been going through Asuka of the Scarlet Sky. And oh boy, that one's a bit too stimulating.
Ulbert's parents have to clean the streets or some shit from 7-5? There's so many ways in Suzuki's world for someone to die it's more about what IS safe versus what ISN'T safe.
Bit different in wording, but it's still the same. Ainz means that he's confirming that the NPCs at their heart are still loyal to their creators more than Ainz himself, but at the same time he's using it to mock Shalltear's loyalty towards him. But most importantly it's Ainz's way of verifying whether or not Shalltear believes Ainz knows about her skills or not. Her confidence shown basically tells Ainz that she has no idea that he knows everything about her, and that the plan is going smoothly.
The manga is already better than the anime by a wide margin in terms of consistency, only problem is Shalltear doesn't start out in her armor, which was noted in vol 3 because she had to put it on to fight PDL's armor and there's no reason for her to take it off in that blank mode of hers. Other than that this fight has been pretty spot on with skipping details versus making shit up like the anime.
That sounds too good to be true.
>because she had to put it on to fight PDL's armor
I've seen this referenced before, but I must have missed it when I was reading through the volume
do they actually say anything about the PDL before the fight or was it mentioned when the old lady hero went to talk to him?
>I've seen this referenced before, but I must have missed it when I was reading through the volume
I've heard people say that isn't canon and only happened in the web comic and not the LN
She should have told Momon about being 2 days away from retirement and having to look after her sisters and being able to see magic
Ainz might have spared her then, both for her children and as a rare-commodity (he's a hoarder, remember? It might apply to rare people too)
But she didn't do any of that/ Too bad, so sad
That metaphor would only be apt if you also left the front door wide open, left out a fresh plate of cookies for those jerks, and had signs taped up everywhere saying "Go ahead and stel my stuff, jerks"
alright, I suppose a more fitting description would be for the guy who installed your security system telling you to leave your doors unlocked so it can be tested
remember, ainz REALLY didnt want these people to come anywhere near nazarick
Ainz was planning on giving Foresight a warrior death but changed his idea once Hekkeran tried to fool him. Hekkeran and Imina bodies are now home of parasites, Roberdyck is being used for experiments and Arche is the only one who got a quick and painless death.
the old guys group got killed normally, nothing happened to the jerks group other than the jerks arms getting ripped off, bug armor and one of his guys got ported to kyous room, the others of his party we dont know, and the main party got killed painlessly? by getting touch of undeathed by ainz
I don't see how thats "horribly" for all but one
You're forgetting a member of Heavy Masher being sent to the literal torture room(who was personally attended to by the lovely Neuronist), Hekkeran and Imina who were used as live parasite nests, Erya who had his arms cut off shortly before dying, and Roberdyck who is most likely brainwashed into worshipping the man behind all his friends tortured deaths.
I've obviously forgotten about the parasite thing, since I can't recall reading it, but even adding the guy who got sent to neuronist, thats still not many of the number
Well those are the only confirmed tortured kills. We don't have the fate of the rest of Heavy Masher, Erya's elven slaves, or any of the nearby Adventurers who were guarding the camp with Momon.
We can probably assume they died in some horrible manner though, given Ainz's attitude towards them(Aside from the adventurers who were most likely kept alive to keep up Momon's appearance and report the deaths)
thanks anon, i laughted. i needed to.
also i loved the anime but dont know this much about the rest. the light novels are only in english i guess? the manga is official or just fan made?
Which one has the best built and which one has the worst one?
They worked on a production line and died in an accident. It was so terrible they couldn't find the bodies, but they didn't stop the lines because individual lives are worthless..
Ulbert hates society more than Touch Me and Momonga gently calls him out on it
Just read them and keep a dictionary handy, only way to improve.
She's not meant to be a specialist, she's a wildcard. She covers gaps in the formation.
Also I like Narb's build, classic battlemage. Nishiki Enrai was a minmaxer and I figure it carried over.
And chinese. Also, if this is about how much you can enjoy between LN, manga and anime, believe me that LN is far greater than those other two (as literature is very good btw.)
Would you be able to handle these two ladies? Also, why the hell is Albedo considered a cake?
You're bringing bad part of your life to your entertainment. Chance is you won't enjoy it as much as you want since you will be spending time making it worse for everyone else.
Just my opinion
I will tell you how this series will end.
Eckleya the penguin will be the undoing of nazarick.
Ainz will capture/mess with enri in some way leading to enfriea being turned against him.
Renner's lackey, brain and enfriea will team up to infiltrate and destroy nazarick with the information leaked to them by the penguin.
Thus it has been written, so shall it be.
Eckleya the penguin shall be the undoing of nazarick. Enri will be used against enfriea.
Brain, climb and enfria with team up with the penguin and emperor to infiltrate nazarick and defeat ainz who has leaked enough information about how to defeat him, anti timestop cm, sword , etc.
Thus it shall be. The nostradamus of /a/ predicts it.
19:19 can be read as いくいく
not sure about the other
>the owner is a well-known VA in eroge
>she won't insert any innuendos into her works
Then again, I'm sure Aura won't get the what those mean even if she accidentally set those time. Not after no response from
lizards humping each other
I think both points can be valid, just not necessarily a given. And far too hard to prove for MMOs. It's like trying to get down samefagging to a science or some shit, way too many variables.
This and the Albedo conversation in the "Mausoleum" are probably my favorite moments in Overlord.
Both the anime and the manga got them about 80% right, which is a little disappointing. And I'm far from an LN purist, most changes made in adaptations of this kind are usually for the best. Just not in this specific particular case.
That's cause Overlord changes are practically retcons, while others are made for the purpose of self-containing the story. Like there's no point in the Shalltear vs BS change if you're gonna show Kid Captain at the end reporting to the higher ups which is as far as we know, completely original scene since it's glossed over in vol 4 intermission. All it does is grab interest in the viewers wanting to know what happens, but then if they skip vol 1-3 and go straight into the novels they instantly get confused in vol 4 when KC talks to CD or worse, might get the wrong impression that BS is so filthy rich they consider divine-tier weapons as poorfag.
It's understandable for Albedo to have a more hourglass figure with her armor for sex appeal, but then why take away the shield? How are you the best tank in Nazarick holding an axe with both hands?
Not really, given most MMOs the battle between Ainz and Shalltear is already rather quite unique given how many different attacks they used. I remember playing shit like WoW and even if I had 8 bars of buttons, over 40% of my attacks are still my 2 button.
When they called Touch Me a born winner it was pretty literal, Touch Me belonged to the "kachigumi" who could lead successful lives, while Momonga and Ulbert were part of the "makegumi", who were destined to be plebs.
maybe ainz will sympathize with this guy, revive his mom and make him a lich commander.
maybe the reason touch me admired the heroes of justice so much was because he saw there was no justice in the real world, so he escaped to the game to play out his fantasies until he got picked up for CEO or something.
To be perfectly fair, if you look at it from an objective standpoint, it was a super shady deal.
>Go to a foreign country and loot this tomb for any valuables and bring them here.
Their job description was equivalent of a French explorer hiring you to go illegally raid an undiscovered pyramid in Egypt so he can add the sarcophagus to his personal collection back in Paris.
What they were doing was something that could have been used as a casus belli for war if discovered.
Completely irrelevant as Albedo is described to using a shield. By your logic if the anime changed Narberal to lugging around totems you would justify it as "Well Shamans use lightning in WoW."
Defending a change that has no purpose, has no appeal, and has no advantage even in regards to the budget is pretty ridiculous.
>Never heard of a shield axe
Anyway when was she mentioned using a shield? Don't recall seeing it in the LN.
She's supposed to be wearing big bulky armor where it's impossible to tell gender, as well as a kite(?) shield and a sickly green axe. Instead the anime stylized her to boost sales.
>A person dressed in a full set of black armor appeared. The armor made the figure look like a devil. Covered with spikes and not showing the tiniest amount of skin. Wearing metal gloves with long claws, in one hand a black kite shield, the other holding an axe gently emitting a green glow. Wearing a blood red cloak fluttering in the wind, complementing the red blouse worn underneath.
From volume 2.
I just started reading Grimgar. Not entirely sure if I'll keep going, because only one translated chapter is released per week and the chapters are pretty short. Probably going to put it on the shelf for a year or so, or until I learn to read moon properly, so that I can maintain my sanity.
Yeah this is what her armor is supposed to look like.
Missing the shield and cape I think, since the skirt should be the red blouse yeah? But still far more accurate than the anime, it's like the manga is practically some kind of bridge between the two mediums just so the anime doesn't look too incompetent.
You Nazarick scums. I, Climb, the protector of princess Renner will single-handedly fend off you hideous monsters and bring back peace to the kingdom.
I'm not the hero the Kingdom deserves, but the one it needs right now
Your princess is already a slave to the Rod of the Incubus, this is your song:
When you dwell on the past
While he pounds her sweet ass
When you fuck her in bed
It's his face in her head
When she's taking his cock
When you're out on the clock
When she's fucked by four guys
And you're still none the wise
When she's on the school roof
Making out with some doof
When she blows some old man
With your ring on her hand
When there's tears in your eyes
When she laughs at your size
When you're home all alone
Her hips move on their own
You imbecile, I have been training with my Katana every day, and I can cut through steel like a folded paper. I have been getting better every day with this superior technique
Has there been any info about volume 10's content?
I keep hearing dwarves, but I don't see why
Really hope Carne is touched upon. Doesn't need dedicated chapters, but I love goblin escapades
Climb is so average and without worth that I can't help but feel that he will become Ainz's death.
All he has going for him is HARD WORK AND GUTS, which are both trademarks of shounen protagonists. And we all know those fuckers are nigh invincible.
The language used in fan translations is usually very easy to read, much easier than an official English publication, but the translations themselves can be difficult to understand at points. Being non-native might make that worse.
I remember playing as a DK in WOW and killing fucking everything through literally smashing the numbers in my keyboard.
Sometimes I didn't even know what the fuck I was doing, but shit died anyway so I didn't care.
DK rotations have always been a clusterfuck but for a long time it didn't matter since ideal play was only a minor damage increase over button mashing. Blizz never understood how to make a good rotation.
He's an upstanding hardworking straight laced human lad in the sea of edgy monsters serving a beautiful princess who's actually a sadistic genius who's lost faith in humanity (might be a doppelganger).
Ainz would have fucked them both already if it wasn't for a minor issue.
The lizards hard work actually paid off amusingly enough, while Hamsuke was possibly the most clueless being in the NW if we go by years passed and got the most coveted position in Nazarick just by being earnest.
But in the end it was a plan he reluctantly agreed (by Demiurge I believe) and he couldn't cook up any good excuses NOT to test it.
They needed something "fierce" from NW to test it and chose the shady element of combatants, mercs for money.
And even then Ainz gave them second chance, albeit indirectly but all of them were too comfy in their lifestyles and thought they had seen it all with risk calculation.
They might have gotten off easy if they had proven themselves worth the saving roll during their trip to the ruins but alas, nothing.
And then Ainz lost his marbles and ran off by feelings after Hekkeran tried to fool him and his pitiable and unattainable wish.
A shame indeed.
Anon, he got ported to the NW by unknown reasons. He don't know WTF happened.
If he knew about the not logging off thingy, who knows, he may not even login on the last day.
Even if he wanted, telling it to others, do you seriously anyone will believe him?
And even then what quarantee there is that the "friend" that got summoned was actually happy to be sucked into it against his will?
Reeks of bad drama and or extreme wish fulfillment no matter how you look at it. I'd rather have Ainz find his own happiness in the NW and keeping his friends as memories instead of going down the pathetic route.
Sure for now he doesn't really have anyone he can open up with his worries but maybe if given time he can steer his daycare and find someone that can lend him ear & dialogue.
Renner in private, PDL, or even heck even Granny/Fluder might if he turns the scenario well and doesn't show his cards and open hand too easily.
The rezz ring is the perfect scapegoat if an "outside" power invades NW and threatens the inhabitants of it.
Ainz can just hoard them together to valiantly resist whatever it is and make a stageplay out of it by showing what Nazarick is made of.
All the while thinning the ranks of NW nations and doing headhunting. Or just pit Gracious & Gentle Ainz and Momon against Demon King Jaldabaoth.
Yeah, i wasn't saying that it would be good for whoever got summoned, just saying there might be a way of achieving what was mentioned, and i like the act that Ainz put on and somehow get away with it because of his god levels of luck that's why i wouldn't mind if he couldn't open himself with someone.
But at the same time would be fine if that happened.
How can AOG have Ouroboros when it was used to give auto translate to the NW? Well, unless
the NW actually is just inside the Matrix and it all turns out to be a game like Prologue Part 1 is hinting at.
It's a fucking 20, how can they keep it once they use it?
There's no verification. It was just AInz's understanding because he thinks of the idea as an SAO scenario where he got hijacked in the game through his own house.
You're in a Shadowrun world, where people's lives are worth jack shit, you have no family or friends, nobody would miss you, you literally don't even have a security lock to your room. If a big ass corporation wanted to use you in an experiment and timed it so they can just hook you up to their machine while you are logged on (ya know cause they were the guys who made the god damn thing) then carry your body to their facility, who the fuck would miss you? Do you think people outside would pay attention? The same outside area that's filled with enough pollution it can kill you if you dare walk outside naked for a few minutes?
>shown basis of multiple pieces of information
>given hypothetical scenario based on information
>can't refute anything and has to sperg out
I bet you thought the ring being the deal breaker was headcanon too. I don't even need a trip to recognize you anymore.
You literally need to kill yourself if you think you made any ponits worth refuting
>I don't even need a trip to recognize you anymore.
I've literally never used a trip on this site more than once at that was several years ago no a totally different board, yet again, you need to take your head-canon bullshit and fuck off, because you clearly just jump to conclusions whenever you get the chance
Where the hell did you get the understanding of an "SAO scenario"? Ainz has repeatedly stated how his avatar now feels like his own natural body. And there has been no evidence it is just a larger simulation.
The main argument against this is the NPCs and other people Ainz encounters. They are all sapient and simulating so many intelligences would require a ridiculous amount of processing power.
Elin zerk best zerk
For the greater good of both of us, not.
>being afraid of easy books with illustrations
>And then the puppet with its strings cut fell like a puppet with its strings cut...
Anon, please go easy on the spookiness; it's supposed to be a bedtime story after all.
Dont forget the almost as smart Emperor who believes
1.Shalltear is nothing more than a concubine, and her boobs are real.
2. Mare's timidness indicates charity and hidden empathy.
3. Ainz's bedroom rehearsels are legit dictorial decrees
>Shalltear is an INTELLIGENT concubine who does the tomb administration
>Demi is a stupid toad bard
>Mare is easily manipulated (and a girl)
>Any of the Guardians will betray Ainz
This is what Jircniv actually believes
How would [World Savior]'s infinite grow potential work if it can only be used once?
Do you have to swing it continually for it to grow until you stop and it disappears? Does it have a growth cap at which point it leaves inventory?
He also thinks that Albedo is the queen of Nazarick and that Ainz has an intimate relationship with Pleiades. Albedo would be so overjoyed if she heard that, that it wouldn't be a surprise if she asked Ainz to have mercy on him.
It's really hard for me to conceptualize the hellish dystopia that's Overlord's meta-IRL-setting.
From the first half of the BD special to this (I assume truthful) teaser, it seems too dysfunctional to the point of being surreal.
It's easy to imagine a bunch of bored salarymen coming home from a 9-to-9 drudgery job to spend their salaries in Yggdrasil. It's a lot harder comparatively to imagine literal wage slaves that can apparently barely read and even barely eat and breathe healthily coming home to play vidya without their souls being completely broken.
It's a lot easier when you've known nothing else your whole life
and to the dysfunctionality, i'd say earth either got to the point where there are too many humans, or machines can do everything a human can do but the people in charge don't want the world to be a utopia
It's basically predatory capitalism taken to its ultimate extent. There's the haves, and the have-nots, and the have-nots are essentially a servant class to the haves.
Ulbert's obsession with evil probably comes from this, since there's hardly any good or justice in the world.
I wouldn't call it simple delusion, he (and NW in general) don't really have touch or "life experience" with actual demons and monsters as an society or hanging around for prolonged times in the last quarter millenia.
Of course they try to reason it out as "flimsy loyalty" or "stupid monsters" and so on, just as the narration tries to pass all undead as blood crazed beings that can't co-exist with humanity.
Same with narration & demons except demons like Demiurge are inherently pretty deadly for humans but they do show some restraint at least for an objective (Project Paradise).
On the other hand I'm all-in on seeing if Jircniv tries to bribe someone from the Guardians and what he'll offer as a price. My bet would go on to either Mare or Shalltear as target.
I never said it would succeed... Mare is probably the most devoted Guardian apart from Albedo and Demi, plus when Demi brought up the idea that Jircniv might induce one of them to betray Ainz, Mare was flipping out under his meek exterior.
Rather than Mare, it's Ainz who Jirnciv should be afraid of.
Mare is brutal and cold when he needs to be, but Ainz is a proud papa.
You don't try to put moves in Skele-daddy's cute boy-daughter.
So help you if you try to pressure said boy-daughter into sex without putting a ring on that hand.
>Mare is probably the most devoted Guardian apart from Albedo and Demi
All the NPCs are equally devoted to Ainz, only PA and Albedo are a little more, since one is Ainz's creation and the other had her setting changed by him.
I dunno man, Mare was the first to get the wedding ring from Ainz, Aura and Mare don't stress him out like Albedo and Demi do, and Ainz even wanted to peek under Mare's skirt in v1.
Plus Ainz hugged Mare as he cried softly into Ainz's shoulders, it made Albedo flip out and try to rape Ainz to establish dominance.
>he doesn't enjoy violence
Need I remind you:
Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat. Splat.

Well, for now this is the list of rewards Ainz gave to his subordinates:
Albedo - Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown
Shalltear - Peroroncino's book
Aura - Bukubukuchagama's wristwatch
Mare - Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown
Demiurge - Ulbert's failed prototype
Cocytus - Permission to take care of Lizardmen's tribe
Solution - Corpses
Entoma - Permission to challenge Evileye again
Sebas - Permission to go with Tsuare on a date
Pandora's Actor - Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown
Did I forgot someone?
I l;ike Aura and Mare, but it seems Mare is comfier than Aura. Mare likes to curl up in his bed with the air conditioning up to max and I'd like to curl up with him.
It was just another experiment to him.
Somehow I think Gazef took the best option for him, what kind of jester he'd have to be serving Ainz? He'd have no business in Nazarick apart from being lizardmen level guest and even in E-Rantel he'd be seen as traitor/sandal that switches sides.
I doubt Ainz could have garnered any good points from the rest of the world by making Gazef dance to his tune anyway. Better just make the "general populace" under him sang those praises with Project Paradise instead.
Ainz just wanted to add an outstanding man to his collection. But yeah, there was honestly no good way for Gazef to spin his defection to Ainz as anything good, plus he got to go down swinging (not that he actually accomplished anything, but it was the thought that counted).
As a bonus, Ainz even called off the Dark Young and guaranteed the lives of Climb and Brain.
Where would Gazef be allowed to stay anyway? The 9th floor?
>well in the end i didn't feel like actually finishing it though since desu i'm not confident in typesetting
I talked with Keeno about that. See pic related.
>im a two week newbie for it and i can't redraw for shit
Everyone started as a noob. Just keep it up. Just don't force yourself to finish a project, if you have enough of it at that monent, or in a certain amount of time. Do it at your own pace. Just play with your work and see what you can change or do different.
>what kind of jester he'd have to be serving Ainz?
with nazarick's superior training gazef would jump to level 50 in a year and having a moral fag along would balance out the crazies.
They already have Sebas, Nigredo and Pestonya for that. Cocytus isn't a bad guy too. Maybe Yuri too, don't remember her doing something nice for "lesser beings" like the others I named.
Yeah, there was something like that too.
A thought on Enri
Ainz was super hyped because he summoned 5 of those goat things, right?
Surpassing the record gave him joy
Enri obliterated the Goblin Horn record
She summoned an army 5000 strong
How hype do you think Ainz would be on hearing that?
The books would have to be rewritten about the Goblin Horn
Depends, a whole group died from normal combat. Outside of nazerick.
That asshole with the slaves died a quick death after his arms were cut off from a hamster.
Arche was killed the most "mercyfull" way, in her sleep being sucked dry by shalltear.
The rest...yeah pretty bad stuff happend to them...
Personally, I refused to believe there had not been a goblin enthusiastic who found the secret behind it within the 12 years. With that myriad of customization, surely there were a few of those who wanted to roleplay as a goblin king.
How strong would be a level 100 Warboss Enri?
Reminder that most players keep information for themselves. There might be one or two players who achieved the 5000 goblins but simply didn't share the information.
Atleast Overlord goes the "armor is for protection" route.
Even clementine regreted it while being crushed by Ainz not having tougher armor on only her trophy garment.
Beside the boobplate in the anime. Atleast it was still full plate armor.
For a MMO thats more then just a archievment if you look at games now ,armors for female chars its stupid.
>There might be one or two players who achieved the 5000 goblins but simply didn't share the information.
Have you ever met someone who uses goblin decks in Magic? Those fucks never shut up about how many goblins they can control. You really think people like that would keep quiet after amassing an army of goblins that no one had ever achieved before?
>Solution - Corpses
Nope, those live ppl that have any info ripped out of them.
>what kind of jester he'd have to be serving Ainz?
I don't think Ainz would be so acquisitive as to make Gazef directly another Guardian.
I was assuming he'd make Gazef a liaison to the Kingdom and/or its Governor in order to force changes (ostensibly for good) and enforce Nazarick's rule.
Really I thought Ainz was just going to let the Kingdom remain the Kingdom so long as Gazef was around, and it submitted to Nazarick in general as a vassal state.
We also have to remember that Satoru lives in a hellish superfuture dystopia where just going outside is hazardous to your health due to the pollution. Like Beijing without any health controls at all for over a century (apparently).
His idea of "average" could be to us a guy who simply ISN'T pockmarked with lesions and pollution-related skin diseases. The face was coming from a guy who lives on literally the cheapest, shittiest food he can quite possibly buy and still be alive.
>I've literally never used a trip on this site more than once at that was several years ago no a totally different board
Your reading comprehension is so bad that it's immediately understandable why you sperg out at anything you don't understand. Stop being so insecure and read the novels.
>Players could build cities I believe.
They couldn't build them, but they could conquer them and probably expand them.
And Ainz said that sensations in Yggdrasil were limited to touch only, and he describes the sensations since he came to the NW has a 100% real.
That's essentially the same as building anon. And it doesn't seem like what they built was preset too. Also it would be cheaper to take over and expand on a already built town or tomb.
>he describes the sensations since he came to the NW has a 100% real.
the gov is using him for experimentation since no one will miss him.
he's been kidnapped and is now in a lab.
>And it doesn't seem like what they built was preset too.
Yeah I agree with that, Yggsrasil's main draw was customization so has long has you had the money and imagination you could build anything.
>Also it would be cheaper to take over and expand on a already built town or tomb.
That's what I meant.
>he describes the sensations since he came to the NW has a 100% real.
The problem with this is that he can't truly verify it due to his body. He can't eat, and thusly can't taste, that being a vital sense for humans to verify if something is fucked up with our existence.
As well, can he smell properly? I forget.
It'd be a real dick move if he could smell things but not taste things either. Taste is very much linked to smell and a lot of it isn't done solely by your tongue.
But anon, you asked for the reason and so I gave it to you.
>Ainz is worried about to restock the stuff he uses like scrolls ect.
How is he replenishing the food? Is that Created by the Chef NPC, or did they have some sort of hilariously huge virtual larder for no goddamn reason save that AOG was full of neckbeards with more money than common sense?
they can't make "human" meat, and the Roach King doesn't have "food," but that can also mean he'd like some human to eat too?
Are they all starving and eating each other save for the "noble" Guardians living it up, like Aura and Hamburger-sama?
they have some kind of food generator I believe
remember that nazarick had a budget that was balanced to nullify the costs of all the npcs contained within, so I'd assume "upkeep" costs like food would be included in that
There's also the fact that some of the NPCs are wearing a ring of sustenance. Plus, there's items that generate food and drink, like you said. IIRC Ainz carries a kettle that generates water, and the lizard men have something like that for booze. There's bound to be more items of that type in Nazarick.
I think Ainz should have let Solution have these virgin humans, after all she did an excellent job and stayed on his side when Sebas was playing hero. She was even willing to face Sebas alongside the other guardians despite being a weakling who would die in one or two hits.
Or perhaps Ainz could give Miyoshi's job to Solution, I mean, is there a better job than being Ainz's personnel slime?
Solution doesn't seem the type who leak information, unlike Narberal.
That's why it would be funny, Albedo and Shalltear would form an anti-slime group.
I think there is a high chance of everyone you listed will be in Ainz's harem, except frog.
I can see Renner being married to Ainz, I am going to assume in the future one of "Ainz's" master plans will have Demiurge arrange a marriage between her and Ainz while having accidents happen to all other heirs. Ainz gets the only legitimate claim to the kingdom and Renner doesn't have to give a shit anymore and get an actual rape dungeon to do whatever with Climb
Renner can't marry Ainz. She's going to /ss/ with the kid she marries first.
Well, wait. Is Revean even still alive. I wonder if that marriage still holds after Ainz went all splat splat on everyone.
In your dreams
there would be literally no reason for that
it would be much easier to just threaten the kingdom into becoming a vassal state with renner or raevan at the head to have a similar situation to e-rantel
the only reason she will be relevant again is because of so-bin's boner.
Do any of you think Ainz can make transportation gates later in every of his cities that he took over.Otherwise would suck for the soldiers and common people not to travel to other of his domains.
Interesting fact by author: even if all the nations and races of the new world combine together and attack Ainz the best they can do is keep the npc inside the tomb but cannot defeat them or conquer the tomb.Make me so exited to see large armies raiding the tomb and get massacred.
>the best they can do is keep the npcs inside the tomb
because that mean there are some relatively powerful creatures in the NW if they can't be immediately one-shot by ainz or the guardians
and yeah, teleport gates would be incredibly advantageous from a trade perspective, so I wouldn't put it past ainz or demi to think of it
Albedo is absolutely loyal to Ainz. She might argue, but she will follow his will and accept the consequences whatever they might be.
Demiurge is absolutely loyal to Ainz. He will even be willing to ignore orders in order to keep him safe.
Cocytus is absolutely loyal to Ainz. He understands that as a subordinate, all he has to do is duitfully follow whatever command he is given.
They are all absolutely loyal, but it is expressed differently through their personalities.
That was a long time ago.Author said it during a interview. A fan ask how powerful Nazarick is compare to the new world and author said that the new world need every race joining together to keep them inside the tomb.
Is too late now to stop Ainz.Is no longer possible to keep them in check inside the tomb.Especially after he already start gathering many new forces to join his army and has a intelligence unit. He also keep creating strong undead every day. Even if races realize how strong Nazarick is,it is already too late since the Nazarick kingdom is already founded. It was only possible when they attack him in the very beginning when he was transpoted and was confused, lack information, limited resourses and no large army.
Edgy, eternally hungry Joan of Arc.
Well duh, everyone of us already new that piece of info since vol6 came out.
She probably used her hit squad for other important missions. Since finding the other supreme beings is almost 0%
Story was never about the others anyway but about a normal salery man trying to rule his people as a king according to the author.I rather Ainz go looking for other players and captures them for experiments
Well yeah. Evileye now has a very good idea of how to quickly kill Entoma. If they fight again 1 on 1, Evileye will win. This is not up to discussion.
I wonder if she will gain a level from killing her though?
Shalltear is now blindly loyal to him after her unwilling betrayal. Her shame and guilt must be boundless.
Mare/Aura are uncertain.
Victim is just a martyr in waiting.
Sebas however, I feel will betray Ains if he does something absolutely horrible.
I think it is up to discussion, a lot actualy, but i do think we would draw our own conclusions anyway (I think Entoma would win)
I dont think so because it is only one individual
Basically either they're programmed to be loyal to Ainz and they'll never betray him without mind control, or they're not programmed to betray him and they actually love him unconditionally, for good reason because Ainz treats them very well.
Sebas loyalty is to Touch-Me first, then the guild in general. Since his creator isn't around, he follows Ains completely.
Only PA and Albedo are loyal to Ains first and forever above all others.
None of the other NPC's will have issue with what Ains does because they're naturally evil so no conflict there.
Sebas however could see what Ains does is against what his creator would want because he's not naturally evil.
It's unlikely, but feasible.
>building an actual glass cannon fueled by magic
So Ainz's paranoia was a good thing. I bet all the previous Players made themselves very noticeable, so PDL thought all players behaved that way. In addition, unlike the floating city and the other legendary places that would immediately attract attention, Nazarick is rather plain-looking from the outside, especially since the first thing Ainz did was get it concealled by Mare.
Looking foward PDL reaction and actions against Nazarick, can't wait to see NW in general interacting with Nazarick in the next volumes, i will overjoyed myself for sure.
I want to know also what PDL will think about Nazarick doings.
They say the floating city is guarded by 30 warriors, and they also say that the biggest guild bases have 3000 levels worth o NPCs.
So, the floating city is guarded by 30 level 100 NPCs?
Makes sense. Yeah, maybe they had 30 level 100 NPCs at first, but now it's all locally run.
Plotwise it's closer to the anime, but they managed to preserve some of the humor from the LN. Manga is good for reaction faces, Anime is good for voices and music, LN is best.
