Nao Touyama Birthday, all her characters are best girls in their respective series.
Apparently all of Rhodanthe* plus Suwa-chan came together to celebrate Naobou's birthday. This makes me happy.
Omotenashi~mo with Sugita was great.
I wrote Naobou a fan letter and tried to send it before her birthday. I feel all kinds of spaghetti for what kind of embarassing shit I spewed over and over again until I got my shit together in the last two pages. Here's to the first embarassing moment of this year that i'll never forget.
I hope I get to meet my seiyuufu Kaori Fukuhara later this year at Fanime in San Jose.
KIMI NI MUNE KYUN (kyun)
Why does everyone want to fuck her so bad suddenly?
Because she is a qt with a nice voice, and she's suddenly getting a lot of attention because of Megumin.
Anyone here listened to the latest Suzakinishi Radio episode? Apparently Acchan and Pecchan are shaved to some extent down there. Why were they talking about such lewd topics on a public radio though?
cuteseiyuu flying through. Main role again when?
They are good about that, for some reason.
But you are all late as fuck to this party.
Nishi's other show's name is a euphemism for her vagina after all
>favorite seiyuu gets a good amount of roles
>theyre all nameless background characters
Maybe one day this suffering will end.
I really like "Watashi no Kimochi".
lel but why
Chou A&G's special show has started anyways.
M8, can't go stealing my format and it can only apply to her.
Superior Seiyuu flying through. Main role when? She was in Galko-chan so what was great.
I don't recognize her voice when she do Chihaya, Medaka and Izana but the rest is just the same, Iori sound like sad Yui.
Also who Windows 10 here?
Mao Ichimichi and it's not even close
Seems more legit than when Maaya Uchida won it as a solo award in 2014.
As an idea of how fucking dumb these things are, last year the rookie award had Soma Saito and Reina Ueda and this year it had Rie Takahashi and Shunsuke Takeuchi, WHO ALL HOST THE SAME FUCKING AVEX SPONSORED ROOKIE SEIYUU RADIO SHOW.
Two of the others got some thing for iRis right after too
Presumably next year will be Nishiyama's turn. Maybe they'll get Nanami Haruno some fucking work by then, considering they pulled about 10 shows out of their ass with Rieri this year.
>Oh wow, Inori Minase won best actress!
Inori Minase deserves it for the performance of a lifetime as Yuki Takeya in School-Live. She absolutely nailed it.
Although now that I'm looking at it maybe this image is some sort of prediction of the future and Himi-chan will get it because she's stand in front of Koutarou while Nanamin suffers in obscurity some more.
Well as someone who liked the Gakkou manga more than the TV series, I thought Inori MInase was perfect as Yuki. It was exactly how I'd imagined the character. The entire cast did a great job, but Inori was the standout for me.
I feel like Sony just realized what they had with Inorin and are starting to ruin it with that bullshit. There's a lot of things that gave her credibility and likability without being a niwaka that don't seem to be part of their idol image plans.
10th Seiyu Awards Best Newcomers:
10th Seiyu Awards Best Personality: Kenichi Suzumura
10th Seiyu Awards Best Supporting Actress:
10th Seiyu Awards Best Supporting Actor:
10th Seiyu Awards Most Voted: Hiroshi Kamiya (is this even a legit award?)
10th Seiyu Awards Best Actress: Inori Minase
10th Seiyu Awards Best Actor: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
>tfw Mai Nakahara has never won these awards
She should've won in 2012 to be honest.
The only female VA with big MC role last year, it is either her or Ayaneru but Ayaneru is pretty weak because gochiusa is hit mostly because of Chino and other cast. Kanahana only has psychopass to be considered Anthem is much bigger hit, Mai Fuchigami has Gup but it has so many cast that it is not strong enough MC role for her just like Ayaneru
Last year best actress winner is Anna Frozen VA, because it is always difficult to find big hit anime with female MC
>(is this even a legit award?)
>implying any of them are
Aniraji awards in a couple weeks, anyways.
>Chanko gonna Chanko
>tfw Aki win best new actress in 2010, best lead actress and best personality in 2011
Japan went full retard for Frozen in general last year. They had the legitimate worst OP in the entire history of Gundam just so they could have the singer who did the Japanese version of that meme song.
Aya Suzaki was one of the winners last year (which was a year too late for Kill la Kill and Tamako Market), it's a pretty vague definition.
She pretty good at drawing too.
also a fujo
Hayami Saori finally wins one after 9 years, remind me of Kanahana last year, I feels it is difficult for young seiyuu to win this award
Also Matsuoka wins is like no competition it is him or Kamiya
>of the people in this image, Saorin, Kuma-chan, and ChanRina are the only ones to have not won a seiyuu award
It kind of makes me want to stab someone.
I think all of /a/ can agree a blade of grass is more relevant than Mai Nakahara.
You know, I honestly bet she tries hard to get a main role, but has constantly been unsuccessful for 4 years running. Hell, wouldn't be surprised if she retired this year. There is literately no way she is making any fucking money like this. I mean, she's got her radio program, but that probably isn't even enough also.
To be honest, as the only Maifag on /a/ I realise she's dropped off in terms of relevance the most compared to other seiyuu who appeared in the early 00's. Still doesn't mean it hurts though, how come every other seiyuu of that time period has managed to get a new main role in the past 4 years except her. What is it that makes her not appealing?
Oh you know what, it's okay. Everytime I go on a tangent about this she always gets a role somewhere. She's going to be in Sakamoto Desu ga.
But uh to be honest, it's still painful. Can't stay strong if there is no hope to cling on.
She wins in my heart.
At which point did you realize that in Aoi's sign, the bunny ears make an A and O respectively?
I have video of Toyosaki Aki doing a solo dolls stage play with 4 characters. a little girl, a boy, a police man and an oldman.
okay quality with chinese hardsubbed like the pic.
I'll post stream link later.
There's a programme on voice actors on NHK World right now. They chatted with Riho Iida for a bit.
Well, congrats Minase for choosing seiyuu path.
If she didn't become seiyuu, I suspect she'd be gravure model or doing JAV now.
>gravure model or doing JAV
I'm trying really, really hard not to propose to my monitor right now.
First Love Liver I've done
that's a pretty unflattering pic, desu
I kinda want to see the 'real' Mimorin.
Whenever I listen to/watch her, she's always perfectly playing this "Mimori Suzuko" character.
Not saying other seiyuu aren't using a persona too, but I mean, heck even HanaKana or Amamiya would let herself loose sometimes.
It's a photo I took from my smartphone. She's beautiful, the kind of girl that makes you want to marry and settle down with.
i do agree that she's the perfect marriable onee-san, but that pic still was pretty unflattering
Just to be clear, you're not talking about the image quality or bad angle of my photo right?
Because seeing her all comfy in the sunset beach backdrop almost made me want to kneel down and propose on the spot.
i'm not, no. she looks older and kinda chinese in that pic, regardless of the image quality and the angle.
have a better /comfy/ pic
look at the size of that fucking arm. i bet she's a world class cliturbator
So I've been watching Tokyo Encounter and Sugita mentions the "other" video game show Nakamura does with Maaya Uchida, Hekatonkeiru no Sentaku. Is it my imagination, or does it seem like he doesn't like being on that other show? He seemed really reluctant to talk about it.
She will be relevant at least until Gochiusa season 3.
Are there still Tomato fans here, or am I the only one left?
There used to be quite a few of us, but lately it seems I'm the only one left who posts her, and even then only occassionally given that these days I'm more obsessed with Asami Imai.
Speaking of Asami Imai, who Mingosu here? She has a really good singing voice and she deserves more roles.
That's because it's predictable that any mention of Tomato in these threads would lead to that phrase or a variation of it. Okay, she may be flat, but calling her unattractive is simply wrong.
it's true, she can look cute. you still love your washboards, though. secretly pedo? why not pick up a phat titty seiyuu like terui haruka for some good measure?
Back off buddy, I'm going to marry her. She's mine!
she's genuinely happy in the right one, i think. i don't think she's very comfortable with her current position in the business
She is slowly getting old, and her co-partner Aoi is at the prime of her life.(well, not really, but she is a lot younger)
But I can see being a dumb moeblob getting old, moreso with the years.
I'm working on it. I need some time to better myself first.
bruh how can you not know her
in the context of this thread, i'd say yes.
He's finally making his artist debut this year. Good for him and I hope he's successful as can be. Everyone knows he loves singing/comes up with improptu songs so hopefully that translates to his singing career.
she went from "eh, weird face" to "holy shit i need to be INSIDE HER RIGHT NOW" in my book real quick in no time
I went back and almost redid it as a single page or two, but one of my friends convinced me that it was more honest and more meaningful if I kept it as rambling as it was since it was more...from the heart?
I heavily regret it, yet at the same time don't mind since it's already done. If something good turns from this, then fuck yes.
>she went from "eh, weird face" to "holy shit i need to be INSIDE HER RIGHT NOW" in my book real quick in no time
she's definitely one of the "love making material" seiyuu
Nice! Where did you end up sending it to? Her agency or somewhere else?
That's pretty long, but good for you. My fan letters were usually only 1-2 pages and that was on a smaller sized paper as well.
she's also one of the seiyuu with good feet
Intention-K offices. Apparently that's where a lot of the other people send it.
I originally was suppose to cut it down to 1-2 pages, the 9 pages were more of a draft but I was tight on time trying to re-write it and my friend convinced me otherwise that she'd love the 9 pages since it's more honest and more raw of emotion.
Jokes on them I'm with Japanese Moot
what other seiyuu could be a threesome partner for Asakawa? Itou Shizuka?
Yeah, I feel like sending fanletters to their agencies is probably the best way to go about at it.
>If something good turns from this
I would say you can hope for it, but it's pretty unlikely that you'll get a reply or anything. Especially since you're sending at around the time of her birthday where a lot of fans will probably be sending in mail too. Best of luck to you though /a/non and I hope you get a reply from her. Be sure to share it if you do!
Yeah. I mean, really the biggest fear was handwriting this thing in English, with all the slang and shortcuts I work with when I talk.
From what I've read/heard she had her major in English so she's good at reading it anyway? So I'm in the clear I suppose.
It's just hard because really there's so much I want to say but can't really say correctly without coming out as insane or overly attached or even just as misunderstandable. So I had to pick a lot of words carefully and talk things out the long way to make it legible just incase. It didn't help my handwriting was ASS.
Not expecting a reply, but my good vibes and Karma lately has been great. I work on the road as a driver so on Kanon's and Naobou's birthday, those two days alone were the only days it was sunny while on the road, no traffic and I had the best days of my life working all while I had the flu.
If I had to compare my letter, it's more akin to
Kanon when she first meets Keima and then talks to himIt's surprisingly creepy how lifelike it is to the anime. If anything the only positivity I can gain from that is that it hits hard home for her and she laughs hard at it and then gets very creeped out. At least something cool came from it.
>as the only Maifag on /a/
Woah buddy just because I don't obsess over things that can't be helped doesn't mean I don't like a Nakahara.
The only concern is whether it was on one of the "radio" broadcasters, Japan is really weird about this radio with video thing. Restaurant Matsuoka in particular was kind of too well produced to fit into that category at all in my opinion either compared to the usual one or two stationary cams shit but it was on Hibiki so it's in.
An odd side effect of this is that [email protected] is nominated but [email protected] station isn't eligible because it's on niconico these days. Or was last before I stopped paying attention because they rights claimed it literally everywhere and I couldn't pay for it if I wanted to.
>CavaRaji in Best Comfort Radio
What meaning of "comfort" are we using exactly, because that feels like a way different one than Is the Order a Radio and Ohanashi Note
thread about to die
post more underappreciated cuties
real threads never die, they just fade away
I am actually in constant conflict over how shameless avex can be and liking many of the things that shamelessness produces
fukuen misato. no feet shots that are known to me.
These awards were really dumb.
Sumipe winning a newcomer award when she's in good business since over 5 years. Meanwhile Takeuchi-P wins one when he has only a single main role under his belt.
Inorin has skill, but probably only won due to Sony shilling. I have conflicted feelings about Matsuoka, but there's no denying he's kind of the male Kanahana of our era.
I'm happy for Takarie though, she really deserved her award.
>These awards were really dumb.
>I'm happy for Takarie though, she really deserved her award.
>7th Seiyuu Awards
>Best Musical Performance: Ushirokara Haiyoritai G (Dive II Entertainment)
>9th Seiyuu Awards
>Special Award: Wake Up Girls (Dive II Entertainment)
>10th Seiyuu Awards
>Best Musical Performance: iRis (Dive II Entertainment)
>Dive II has only existed since 2012, in time for the 7th awards
But Carol was better than most if not all of those.
In many ways I agree but the seiyuu cast was perfect and Inorin was the star. But since you don't acknowledge Hestia and Chino I get that the idea of "star-power" may be lost on you.
Instead of playing a fewe game freely with a bro you've kown for over a decade (and sometimes with guests who are also very familiar to you), you have to do lot of strict challenges from random games with a female assistant who was barely born by the time you were playing video games.
I really wonder what the AT-X people were thinking when they decided to end TE and replace it with that shit.
>mfw Inori is the same age and born the same month as me
>already a major VA and pop star
>I'm just a lazy faggot living in my friends family's basement
I need to get my life in shape for my seiyuufu's satisfaction.
>I wrote Naobou a fan letter and tried to send it before her birthday. I feel all kinds of spaghetti for what kind of embarassing shit I spewed over and over again until I got my shit together in the last two pages. Here's to the first embarassing moment of this year that i'll never forget.
Well good for you Anon. Hopefully she can read it all since she's somewhat decent at reading English.
Huge Nao fan since her Kanon major debut but I've always been curious.
I'm still so curious why she joined Intention from Arts Vision, which is definitely one of the major studios in terms of seiyuu talents.
Intention is literally Suzumura and Sakurai (the two having known each other forever and doing Cherry Bell together with the late Matsuki Miyu R.I.P.)
So curious what the circumstances were leading to that change.
>Kana Asumi has one of the cutest voices. Hope we'll still get to hear more of her after getting married.
Asumi's been married for the past 2 years and there's no clear signs of her slowing down.
You call that a slut
she must have developed advanced slut technologies by now to stay undetected while getting plowed by half the male and some of the female population of honshu
/slut/ should do more roles like the ghost onee-san from Charlotte. She sounds great when she isn't putting that dumb inflection on her voice.
At least I think she voices both personalities because she sounds completely different.
She only shows up in a couple of episodes in the third season.
If grim/dark in general, some people die, some people get edgy, etc. It's practically power rangers with singing to power the transformations though.
What's an SSY? I hope you didn't mean to abbreviate Shinsekai Yori because that's fucking stupid. And if you are, I'm not even sure if your comment is positive or negative.
Well I'm not talking Madoka dark. I used the Nanoha rule. If it's as dark as Nanoha A's or darker than it's grim/dark in my book.
I'm saying that Risa Taneda as Saki Watanabe in Shinsekai Yori is, for my money, maybe the GOAT vocal preformance by a female lead in an anime.
This all stemmed from somebody saying Maaya Uchida has decent range and you backing up somebody saying it only matters on the role.
Not only was her performance nothing special at all, they even used a different seiyuu to play Saki's older self in SSY because Risa Taneda has absolutely no range.
SSY was trash and it won't improve over time, just like Risa Taneda.
Reminder that grating voices are a blessing.
> they even used a different seiyuu to play Saki's older self in SSY because Risa Taneda has absolutely no range
This is just patently false. Aya Endo played the 36 year old narrator version of Saki, but Risa Taneda played the 12, 14, and 26 year old versions of Saki.
If you think that means Risa Taneda has no range, lol.
Yes lad, let it become a meme.
Mostly pics, music videos, 2 live concerts and 2 K-on live concerts.
>says it's false
>continues to prove that it's true
Thanks for agreeing on her having no range. Saki sounded exactly the same until they changed her seiyuu for the very last timeskip.
Even Yuki Kaji, the most hated seiyuu on /a/, has better range in SSY and everything else he has worked on.
>Saki sounded exactly the same until they changed her seiyuu for the very last timeskip.
lol the last time skip is to the 26 year old version played by Risa Taneda.
Aya Endo's 36 year old version is the narrator.
not hating or being sarcastic, grating voices really are a gift
Make America Grate Againedits when?
>grating voices really are a gift
Let us know if she talks about it on dream theater or something. I love nao but I can't seem to sit through dream theater nowadays. It's a whole half hour of nothing. She needs a co-host. Cavalry radio being over made me super sad.
Pic is right when the seiyuu changes, the last time-skip. L O L
You and me both Anon! Sad to admit but I wasn't as fully aware of Naobou fully until Ribbon Revolution was around the corner. I loved Kanon as my waifu, and the voice was the perfect match for her as icing on the cake. I know there was the UDX event, but I never really understood the scope of Naobou's starting out and her success shortly after. I've had a long few years following her career
casuallyand making up lost time, hell I'm probably considered a secondary fan, but my love for Kanon is so strong, and Naobou carries it so much because of her fantastic work and just how much she loved the role means more to me then anything.
Just to be able to send a letter telling her how much my life's changed and how much I owe her because of it is all I want to say.
I wish. For something as personal and deep as my letter I don't think she would ever drop a mention on that level live. I dream that she would write back, but for a seiyuu like her with such a big name behind her, getting a reponse as one out of almost hundreds of thousands of fans is unlikely. I don't know any Japanese either, so I asked some of my friends to let me know if she mentions me.
>It's a whole half hour of nothing.
There is a good number of radio shows that are only really worthwhile for a couple corners. Dream Theater is pretty healing at least.
That actually feels like a decent note to bring up Aoi Saori Shin Bangumi ending. Like on one hand you always hate to see things end but it also seems like it's been going pretty much nowhere for a while now.
I didn't mean it like that! You know exactly what I meant! I don't actually watch her dream theater broadcasts and from other opinions some say I would probably never hear about it on the radio due to the "personal" context of the letter.
Not like I'm some special snowflake or anything.
Inorin voices the Pink Megane. She is also the Legendary Idol Nicole Nanasaki-sama.
Performance begins at 9minutes 3 seconds!
The best part of that live is all the Inorikkuma and Can Combi pandering.
>all lineups are set up so that Kakuma ends up beside Oonishi, Minase, or both
It was pretty coincidental since I recognized all the other cast names in KamiNomi heroines in Yuuki Aoi and Touyama Nao when it first aired and I was first getting into seiyuu around that time., so I got interested in following the two. Was fun to see the two of them together in Ikoku Meiro no Croisee.
Naobou is usually always good with a guest/cohost since she is pretty hyper and talkative already so if she has someone to hype her up or chat with, it's always nice.
-Maoyuu Radio with Saito Chiwa was fun.
-Hataraku Maou Radio with Hiyo was hilarious.
-Cavalry Radio was definitely at the top of my list in terms of radio shows last season. Love how they won the custom character contest for OnsenAG's mascot characters (Ishigami used to draw manga for a magazine for a year)
-Nisekoi Radio with guests is fun too
-Have not listened to Rhodanthe radio since I have to subscribe and I'm too cheap too
The web radio for Ikoku Meiro was really comfy.
There was a time in which Aoi and Nao used to be casted together pretty often. Nowadays it's pretty rare.
I don't think I've even watched any shows with her yet but I think her face is cute.
But you are somehow okay with sexualizing Aoi of all people?
Great taste, regardless.
Does anyone here can speak/read Chinese?
I'm desperate. Pls respond.
I watched HantsuXTrash expecting some sort of pseudo indirect incest.
I can speak Cantonese but not Mandarin, does that count?
what show is this???
I think no production staff will ever let the pseudo incest thing ever happen or their agency won't either (they're both represented by I'm Enterprise)
Does Cantonese use different characters? Sorry if that question sounds retarded.
If not, then yes, please help.
>There was a time in which Aoi and Nao used to be casted together pretty often. Nowadays it's pretty rare.
I personally would love to see a casting of Hidaka Rina and Touyama Nao together...The only time I've seen them in one show is Kantai and only live event was a Kantai promotion....
Tell me, /a/. Do you have seiyuu-related confession?
As for me, I have a dedicated Amamiya Sora folder.
Blog, because I need to vent a bit:
There's this photobook scan that is password protected and the hint is in Chinese.
Damn I wish I could crack it.
Just to be clear though, I did not steal from a sekrit club or something. The uploader openly posted the link and even mentioned the password hint.
I have this fetish for first person POV thing (what is it even called?)
>tfw onee-chans are younger than you are
One month and half until her 24th birthday.
She will always be number one in my heart.
Holy shit this thread's still up?
Posting soon-to-be-irrelevant ladies mostly due to their kouhai
Wonder if Minako's still tutoring her or what.
Same goes for Shiina-chan. But hey, Sony's been doing nasty things since ever. Doesn't mean it's okay, though.
I feel like Shiina would've been better off in another agency, the ones that actually focused more on seiyuu stuff.
Had she joined some agency like 81Produce, she would be the one who won the newcomer award this year.
>almost a Christmas Cake
Why does every website have her birthday as March 27th?
>someone saved that rip that I did when I only had a shitty android phone in hand
Have the original.
Why is she so gorgeous?
