Thoughts on Urahara's bankai? Was pretty underwhelming if you ask me. If it was just fixing his eyes and giving himself a momentary strength boost, someone like Urahara could've done it with a device, a drug, or a Kido. Same with making a path for Grimmjow. Looks like Kubo just wanted to throw his readers a bone and be done with it.
The problem wasn't that they were talking about Bleach in the first place, it's the fact that they were announcing to the whole library that they were talking about Bleach.
At least take a shower or brush your hair.
reminder that rukia x renji will be canon soon.
I'm honestly impressed, you remind me of Anniebot, always here whenever a thread pops up.
Stop trying to make people upset, anon. Even if you believe this to be true, keep it to yourself.
I'm sorry you feel that way anon. I really am
>tfw this is exactly what you post to people all the time
I don't know what to say, I'm flattered.
anon, as long as you keep posting those cute hime pics I dont care what you think.
Yeah. Kubo has emphasized over and over again that those two are incompatible (example: rain). Do fans really expect Ichigo to suddenly change his mind? Or that he's actually really good at hiding whatever feelings he has for Orihime?
On one hand I'm very curious to see what she has in store. However, there are just way too many characters we need to get through. It's not that I want Bleach to end, I just want to be able to see different characters.
Was Ichigo being attractive canon since the beginning? There is always comments about how he couldn't get a girl like Orihime, maybe meaning they would not be an attractive couple because she is far more attractive than him.
The first time I remember someone mentioning Ichigo as attractive was during the Fullbring arc and Riruka says it
Didn't girls avoid him because he got into fights? I also vaguely remember Ichigo seeming to talk to himself when he treated ghosts like normal people. That kind of behavior would have made him a social outcast even if he's good looking.
bunch of nobodies are strong for no real reason and didn't exist until now
basically it's a tacked on addition to the story for no real reason except to get extra money
finally finding out what the remaining bankais are is kind of cool but so far only shunsuis has really been worth it
Literally the only reason I'm still reading/paying attention, because I've wanted to know for more than a decade. If Yoruichi's sword ever comes out I'll read that fight, then wait for it to end and read the rest of this arc all the way through.
I understand Yoruichi, but why Rukia? I could never understand it. She has the build of a 12 year old boy and the most bland personality in all of the series.
I want to see some Riruka along with a couple of the quincy women. Can't recall their names at the moment but there were definitely some hot ones.
>666 won't be "Return of the God 2/Devil" and Aizen gets the fuck out of the chair.
Spic faggots, the lot of you.
So the night before yesterday I had a short, lucid dream where I
had sex with Rukia
I can't remember much of it, but other than it feeling good at the time, it left a bad taste to my mouth, so to speak. I can't remember there being any foreplay and I'm not sure if she even looked at me. It was very short too. My lucid dreams being akin to a drunken stupor, I wondered if it qualified as rape.
The next day I got an extremely rare 4* Rukia drop in Bleach: Brave Souls from the very second event mission. It's as if she gave me a gift for last night.
>the Beast is more broken than the Almighty and everyone gets BTFO once again
Who hasn't? They still at least had to have some signs of a nice boobs:ass ratio, not completely lack in both departments. Nothing soft to grab onto really dampens the whole experience in my opinion. Besides bellies. Dick will retract into my own body before I slay a fattie.
>completely lack in both
I know this is bait, but it can't be helped.
Just look at the facts:
-Askin is an Elite Quincy
-his holy form is called Poison of God (similar to Samael's name)
-Saamel is also considered a Satan(accuser) in some religions
-next chapter is 666
We can fully expect him to transform into some sort of monster
I think you missed the point of Kisuke ' s bankai completely. Sure, there are other ways to get the same shit done, but his Bankai can do all of those things and so much more; it's easily one of the most versatile Bankai we've seen thus far. Not to mention that the speed that it could restore Kisuke's body is close to instantaneous.
His bankai could not be better for someone as smart as he.
Also despite it's overpoweredness it still would not have helped against aizen and his illusions. So kubo still has a plausible reason for him not using it.
>shikai restructures and deconstructs energy
>his bankai does it to everything
>people find it hard to make the connection
I still think it's for the sole purpose of not letting the information leak about what it does. Not that it wouldn't have been great for training. That would be two people he would need to trust to keep quiet.
>Renji: URAHARA JUST USE THAT BANKAI THAT MANIPULATES MATTER YOU USED TO TRAIN CHAD AND ME
>Urahara: *fanning self intensifies*
and nets and stops energy blasts after seeing it once
and nets and stops energy blasts after seeing it once
literally everything I stated
His bankai, like his shikai is pretty flexible.doesnt have to me reishi based like his shikai, and has an effective range area, the power fits his character too.
He can tear open and/or reconstruct anything into anything within the context.
It's like a crazier version of Crazy Diamond with higher range
in a battle of physicality Urahara won't lose
Byakuya's metal petals actually become flower petals. He changes your legs into spaghetti. he turns himself into the hulk. he rips off your head.
The only way to fight him is extranormal ways or just ridiculous and utter power like yamamoto bankai
>state what his power does
>show you canon examples of his power
It's like saying Rukia's bankai and shikai has nothing to do with each other
It's strange. There was a kid that went around to people asking them if they wanted to create an anime club. This was a guy who would wear a coat even when it was 80 - 90 degrees outside.
Orihime isn't that short. Keep in mind this was at the beginning of the series and she's probably grown since then.
Right, but banning Orihime posters isn't the way to solve anything. Some people want to legitimately discuss Orihime, and that's okay.
It's obvious when someone is trying to reverse troll and give Orihimefags a bad name.
>Rukiafags stop after everyone starts hating Rukia because of them
>They starts falseflaggiing as Orihimefags because they think Kubo cares which pairing /a/ prefers
>She'll be hated too soon enough
Rukiafags fucked off, that's all it was. As soon as Rukia becomes relevant
if she ever becomes relevant againthey'll be back in forces.
Or they'll come back if something does happen between Ichigo and Orihime during the road to Yhwach.
Is it just me or does feel like, while almost all of the Wandenreich has been defeated and the story of most Shinigami seems to be over, that the story of the final arc has just begun. The last three fights seemed more about setting up the second half of the final arc, with all the talk about the Soul King's limbs, the anti-god sword and now Urahara's view about deconstructing and reconstructing the world with his own hands. We still don't know much about Yhwach's past or the first blood war and other important things, like Ginjou, the Shiba family or Aizen have yet to play out and are only set up. It will still take a long time until we can find out what Haschwalth's letter stands for.
That's not the point. The point is more that we still have to see him use it in a battle, which he can't since Yhwach is sleeping. Also we were very sure that Askin would be the Dimension, Robert the Walk, Pepe the Mind or Control and NaNaNa the Underbelly. Haschwalth is most likely the Balance, but we still need to see it in-universe, also seeing the trend so far, the B will probably have many complex mechanics.
None of those had any real evidence for those shrifts and I don't recall any of them except the Dimension. Toofsy has the most evidence for being the Balance given his ability to switch with Yhwach and some thematic dialogues.
We wait in the shadows. Our time will come....
I'm not that hopeful actually...
That fucking episode man.
>Rukia is watching you fap
Yup. While the quincies are the main antagonist so far for this arc all the reveals have been building up to the true nature of Soul Society. There are plenty of proponents claiming the place doesn't work the way it should and with Ywach's invasion there's an opportunity for them to turn things around for the better. The finale is definitely going to deal with Urahara's and Aizen's conflicting ideas of how to handle the Soul King issue and his Bankai, views, know how and relationship with Ichigo and the Royal Guard are setting him up to be the other end of the last dialogue/battle of the series.
>movie budget animation for a normal episode
Did we EVER get a confirmation on what that was? If it was Urahara fucking around reconstructing Earth for practice... things are going to get real.
>yfw Shinji confesses to Urahara in the final battle that he was pretending to be retarded the whole time before releasing his bankai, which he purposely kept hidden even in the showdown with Aizen because he knew it wasn't the end
That would redeem him 10000%.
Why does it feel like Kubo gets sick so often? Guys like Sorachi, Oda and Toriyama don't get sick nearly as often and IIRC they're usually immobile chainsmokers who had much more harsh working hours.
Oda nearly died from exhaustion and his overworking tendencies were such that his editors now straight-up FORCE the man to take a break every three weeks just to make sure it doesn't happen again.
>remember hearing that Tite Kubo is a pen name
>just now wonder what his real name is
>read on the wiki page that Tite is pronounced Taito
>it's pronounced Tight Kubo and not Teeteh
I feel incredibly retarded right now for not realizing in close to 8 years.
I mean he got so ill he couldn't even draw. That's pretty ill.
I mean, I know he gets sick too, but I don't hear it happening as often with Oda and I'd imagine he's probably unhealthier than Kubo lifestyle wise.
>Oda nearly died from exhaustion
He had a bad case of tonsillitis because he kept pushing back his doctor's appointment so that he could keep working, resulting in a nasty infection.
'nearly died' is pushing it.
>I mean, I know he gets sick too, but I don't hear it happening as often with Oda and I'd imagine he's probably unhealthier than Kubo lifestyle wise.
Oda gets sick, he just powers through it instead of taking breaks like a reasonable human being should do.
And then you have folks like Togashi or Hoshino Katsura, who are just miserable bundles of illness.
I think his real name is Kubo Noriaki?
I love it, if used properly (which Kubo wont) it could be an incredibly broken power. You know everyone wants final villain Urahara finally after all these years reconstructing the world to his own vision, like he hinted at.
Instead we're just gonna get Ichigo as the new Soul King and all the war potentials as his right and left arm and legs.
>it's pronounced Tight Kubo and not Teeteh
Oh shit my sides
Askin is now going to transform into some grotesque creature who will fight Grimmjow in hand to hand combat. Turns out Askin in his real form is really good at hand to hand but he just hates fighting like that, in that form, it disgusts him.
You realize it is very common for many mangakas to have difficult health problems. If the average japanese adult male can die to the common cold over there. I think the quality of life over there can't be very good.
He pulled a similar shit with Gin's sword too. The exact number escapes me, but anyone remember his long ass sword and how Anons spent a lot of time explaining how it was completely lazy and bullshit? Just a long ass sword? That swinging the sword around could cut the entire town in half or cause severe changes in the surrounding climate?
Then it turned out his actual Bankai was poison.
there was poison inside the dust that he put inside his targets by stabbing them or something. i can't remember the exact mechanics but he was pretty sure aizen was going down and we all know how that went
Since I started uni last year I've found out anime and manga isn't this super secret club I thought it was. Half of my class watches atleast the mainstream anime like Naruto, AoT, OPM etc. There's a few Bleach fans as well. It's like those Marvel movies, everyone knows about it and discusses it during breaks and stuff.
Hell, the last student house I lived in there were two completely regular dudes who were way waaay into One Piece. And they were like your everyday dude, went to the gym twice a week, had a healthy, long relationship with cute girls and got decent grades.
Basically, anime and manga is mainstream now. There's no need to hide it anymore. I mean, you shouldn't shout it off the rooftops, but when a couple of classmates are discussing a show you're into, there's really no need to hide your powerlevel. Just join in, you'll have a lot more fun that way.
Seriously. I climbed out of my hikki hole two years ago and it fucking astonished me how many seemingly normal people enjoy anime. I discuss Bleach weekly with two classmates of mine and One Punch Man was a big hit with a lot of people in my class
why didn't kubo make aizen keep his glasses
he was better as the evil nice looking guy
The japanese heart continues to beat when outside of the body and the person won't die until you crush it. It's like how the enemy won't be sliced in half until after the sword is sheathed.
You are a fucking dumbass, japan has the highest average age in the world. Also they die from "the common cold" because japanese people have a tendancy to not trying to be a nuisance to other people. Making them worry etc.
I miss the days when Rukia was living in Ichigo's closet. I just feel Soul Society just isn't THAT interesting, they are too far away from humanity for me to give a shit. Ichigo should have stayed on Earth and have adventures here instead.
Honestly I think Uraharas Bankai is brilliant.
He innovated Gigai tech. Id expect him to have surgeon-like knowledge.
Also, in the anime his energy slashes have firework sound effects. That would make for a nice distraction while your body is being dissected by an AoE.
Its really fitting.
In high school there was this obese kid who would always start talking about anime to random people and even loudly bitched how much he hates it when dubs change the op song. He'd read a japanese to english dictionary in class and tell people off in japanese. He even would ask people if they role played.
Even the other friendless autistic nerds laughed at him.
It's always the weirdest fucking kids. The kid that tried starting an anime club in my school would always go up to attractive girls / athletes and ask. He would run away if they said no.
I'll never understand people.
Did Kubo forget about Harribel?
Ok,so, does this mean he has never used his bankai in the presences of another person ever?
Cause they knew about everyone else bankai, but how did he manage to keep his hidden from the "ALL SEEING, ALL KNOWING, OMNIPRECENT" King of the Quincy?
Better yet, since he use to work for soul society wouldn't they have a record of his abilities and his bankai?
Unless he just asspulled and erased them when he was kicked out because this IS FUCKING BLEACH!
But hes used it before in the past obviously
>just finished the chapter and my face when KUBO does something good for GRIMMJOW
i have a bitch like this in my
Japanese classwho i fucking kid you not walked up to someone first day, before class started fucking randomly and said "Do you like naruto? I just started it and really like it but i dont like all the characters, I only really like Naruto and Sakura" Except fucking loud like not yelling just everyone in the room could here what she was saying
That fat chinese cunt is the only bad part about that class
Besides her its completely fine, theres a nerdy guy and his extra nerdy, gay black friend but besides that it is a group of socially adjusted people
for nowLike 15 people or so dropped and the really fat dude who only wore esports hoodies was the worst and he left.
Actually, the first time we see him use an ability, it's creating an identical powered attack to perfectly nullify Getsuga Tenshou, as well as a shield
Then again against Bala, where he specifically mentions analyzing the reiatsu.
Then there's the net against Aizen.
I mean, I admit it's a bit loose, but the idea is definitely that Urahara's shikai and bankai both involve, for the most part, drawing lines and shapes for the purpose of altering the opponents attacks.
It's like shunsui's bankai. It's not a direct increase of the same concept, but it has shared design elements.
given that he was only a captain for 10 years, and we know that he obtained bankai in 3 days, it's entirely likely that the only time anyone else saw him use it (aside from Yoruichi) was during his captain's exam. And, it's highly unlikely the captains exams included well documented notes about how the applicants bankai works.
What was the contract he made with Grimmjow?
Nah, Auswahlen was just the worst asspull power-up in the entire Big 3. They went from being bodied 4v1 against Sword Nigga to offscreening the entire squad in (presumably) 1v1 matchups. Let's not forget that before the Almighty faggotry, Shutara effortlessly slaughtered Nianzol and trapped the entire SS in an Aizen-tier illusion for a fairly long period of time- and they only got out of it because she chose to let them see just how screwed they actually were.
>Been reading bleach for the past month, starting with 20.
>On 630 now
This is the craziest bullshit ive ever seen
This goes beyond the fucking Naruto finale and onto a whole other plain of horseshit powerlevels
I don't think Zero squad was ever supposed to be powerful. Remember that to be a part of Zero squad all they had to do was contribute something significant to the history of soul society or something.
Only one of the members was actually considered a war potential and he died to the strongest(as far as we know) quincy.
What's the current speculation on chapter 666?
It could also be higher. She may be related to the Shibas or Ginjou somehow. It's strange that Kubo chose her to show up during EBTR, instead of anyone else. Kubo also skipped her reaction to Isshin in Shinigami clothes. Since she could see the badge she should at least see Isshin. There are many things that don't add up. Either Kubo is a wack or we will be for a big surprise and the Quincy invasion is only something like the first half of the final arc.
But that's the thing. If she can see the badge, she should see Isshin. That she didn't react to him is thus strange. Either Kubo fucked-up or this will be important later. With Kubo you can never know.
It's actually both. Ichigo commented, that with his Shinigami powers gone, people can now see the badge. After the restoration of his Shinigami powers, the badge became invisible to normal humans again.
She's mindless in that form and unable to comprhend even human language. I don't think those are her true feelings to Urahara. She probably would have treated Sui-feng or Ichigo the same way in her werecat form. And she hates to be in that form. If Urahara did it, he would have needed to drug her before. Yoruichi also spent the last 100 years in cat form.
It took Kubo around 8 years to touch upon the Shinigami badge. 10 years to touch upon the person Kenpachi admired and named Yachiru after. It took him about 14 years to touch upon Ukitake's desease and many other things. At this point it should be clear, that Kubo doesn't forget things, but rather takes a long as time to answer them. But eventually he will answer them all or almost all.
>One of 5 war potentials
>Sealed away Aizen
>Bankai that bends reality to his whims
>Regular experiments with souls
Grimmjow might as well have made a deal with the devil. Shady as hell, cast out of "heaven", makes contracts with people and he's made of darkness. Chapter 666 is his.
My Bleach wishlist
1. Rukia wearing a schoolgirl outfit again
2. Ichigo and Rukia intreaction and slice of life
3. Ichigo and Rukia kissing or hinted at having romance in a post time skip or even having a baby
4. Aizen and Ichigo fight side by side and defeat Yhwach together
5. Aizen backstory
6. Aizen bankai
8. Aizen Aizen Aizen
9. Aizen Aizen Aizen Aizen
10. More Ichiruki
11. More slice of life ghost hunting
12. More drama, character death
My Bleach Wishlist
1. 90% of the cast die so we don't have to pretend they matter
2.Rukia and Ichigo bone so Ichigo doesn't have to die a virgin
3. Urahara becomes soul king and Aizen cries about it
4. Whatever Uryu is suppose to do in the plot, Chad does instead
Of course he's not going to suddenly turn bad but Urahara's given plenty of reasons that paint him as an end justifies the means kind of guy willing to do just about anything for the greater good. SS is in a very bad spot right now and who knows what he'll need to do to fix it.
Don't be ashamed of talking about things you like anon. I don't love talking about anime but not because I'm ashamed of it. Them normies just ain't my level.
Also, crazy diamond mad scientist edition uderwhelming? Get real OP
It's obviously not over. Askin will just modify his fluids so he can live without blood. Kubo really has a Zombie/stitches fetish.
Anybody have that list of Bleach Final arc stuff that has been updated? Just asking. I still need it.
Didn't make it myself. Someone probably will.
Not that guy, but it doesn't matter. Grimmjow (A Espade ranked Hollow) crushed a vital organ. Askin can't do shit since it was established that all Quincies don't have the ability to be immune to Hollows. Askin is a Quincy. Grimmjow is a Hollow. Hollow is the natural enemy to Quincy.
Askin is going to die next chapter since Grimmjow basically gave him super cancer along with crushing his heart. He dead.
>Urahara x Yoruichi
>uses the word "shenanigans"
Why do you children still get hyped for bankais?
Oh oh, Urahara's bankai! Oooh, Shunsui's bankai! etcetera. Who cares? I lost my hype & patience for them when Kubo revealed Soifon's bankai. He clearly doesn't give a shit, so why should I. Bankais used to be something to be pumped about in the very beginning but it has long since lost that charm.
People who still follow this series are probably just addicted to it, the formula for these battles gets incredibly tiresome but he throws in the odd "twist" that keeps them coming back
What are Jinta and Ururu? Why do they live with Urahara and Tessai?
Remember the first time we saw Mayuris bankai
How about Hitsugaya
Remeber when we saw Baykuya's Bankai for the first time? Remeber when we saw Soi Fon's bankai for the first time? Remeber when we saw Komamura's Bankai for the first time? Or Ichimaru's bankai for the first time? Or Unohana's bankai for the first time? Or how about Kenpachi's release form? How about Rukia's first bankai?
No no, it hasn't. Soifon's shikai was extremely deadly. You'd think her bankai would be a logical extension from that. But since her shikai was already kinda overpowered Kubo dropped that process, and just gave her a large cannon hurrr. And and because she's an assassin she doesn't like to use it, haha! Epic writing. How's that for theme consistency?
Shunsui's bankai is creative but also something more that belongs in Jojo than Bleach. He's supposed to be part of the top-tiers of Bleach and that's what we get? Right now the "thrill" of Bleach for me comes from the fight pairings & wondering who might intervene and join the fight. The bankais themselves, they're just fluff.
But Soifon's bankai was thematic. It was a giant stinger which was meant to be a one-hit kill, going along with the instant death/bee theme she had.
Of course it didn't work because that would be the cheapest death ever. Her shikai also didn't work against Aizen for that same reason.
>You'd think her bankai would be a logical extension from that. But since her shikai was already kinda overpowered Kubo dropped that process, and just gave her a large cannon hurrr
Not that guy, but wasn't the Bankai suppose to cover up her weakness of how she did not have a high attack? She had speed and precession, but her attack wasn't all that guy. She has a decent defense though.
>Shunsui's bankai is creative but also something more that belongs in Jojo than Bleach. He's supposed to be part of the top-tiers of Bleach and that's what we get?
So it's bad that something Jojo got into Bleach? Why? Jojo is great and it's not like it's blatantly ripping off Araki's work like how Kishimoto ripped of DBZ a bunch of times.
You mean 7th Epada?
Here is the rankings
10. Yammy (I don't care about 0 rank, he got his ass handed to him easily)
Soifon's Shikai is stupid good against single targets. Her bankai is good on crowds or larger targets.
Frankly, neither are terribly subtle. One leaves fucking huge tattoo marks all over your body (they even overlap clothes and other things, and change color to make themselves visible). The other is a cruise missile. They both kill things quickly and that's about the only relation they need to have.
Besides, her bankai perfectly suits her personality. Remember when she was totally capable of killing Yoruichi just by spam attacking, but instead decided to show off this super-flashy highly impractical technique? Same shit. She wants to be hardcore stone cold killer, but really she's just a showoff with a bitchy personality.
>Like, well, 90% of the Sternritter.
Are you kidding me? What about Yhwach, Hashwalth, Askin, Bambietta, As Nodt, Bazz-B, Opie, BG9, Meninas, Mask De Masculine, NaNaNa, and Gigi?
Hell, I'm still a bit mixed on Gerard, Pernida and Loyd/Royd.
All the relevant Sternritter were much more developed, than Zommari. And unlike Zommari several Sternritter can be still developed, since this arc is supposed to be longer than the Arrancar saga, which means at least ten more volumes.
I don't think it will be 10 more volumes given how all that is left are after the death of Askin.
Yhwach, Hashwalth, Gerard, and Uryu. And three of those characters are bad guys. Uryu is a good guy who tried to sneak in with the bad guys.
Kubo said, this arc is going to be longer, than the Arrancar Saga. Arrancar Saga was 28 volumes long. This arc has only enough chapters for 18 volumes. So at least ten more volumes, possibly more, since Kubo is someone, who underestimates how long something will take. Kubo also said, that are many fights he has yet to draw and that "everyone" will appear. He also implied that the Sternritter are either enemies or villains, but not both and that someone else is either the enemy or the villain. There is also all the shady stuff regarding the Shinigami, that seems to pile up and now Urahara's talk about true scientists and him having a Bankai, that basically deconstructs and reconstructs things. The Sternritter could cease to be enemies and instead the Shinigami might.
Also there may be more Sternritter left. We have yet to see, if Askin is actually dead and doesn't somehow evade. This is the guy who was chosen because "he could never die, no matter what". We don't know, if Pernida is actually dead. The last shot of the arm were two pieces of flesh regenerating sucessfully and it could always find a way to adapt to the cancer. Askin also talked of Pernida as it were still alive. Lille is still alive, albeit a flamingo. Who knows what Kubo's plans with him are. Giselle, Liltotto and Bazz-B are probably either still alive or going to be revived by Orihime. If Giselle is alive, Bambietta can be killed and revived by Giselle as many times as Giselle wants. We have yet to see, whether BG9 was excecuted or not. He may be the one, who controlls the stone statues. While unlikely Cang Du could be revealed to have survived his wounds, so both Chad and Ganju have an opponent, Gremmy may possibly be the Soul King's brain and Mayuri may possibly bring him back with some kind of machine, that restores brains, like in the movie. I mean that's why people things, Nemu isn't really dead, because Mayuri has saved her brain, right?
That makes 13 more Sternritter.
1.ichigo Rukia tag team fight.
2. Chad and Orihime time to shine
3. Yachiru losing her shit.
4. Kill off 40% of the cast
5. Karen shinigami
6. Tatsuki and co confronting Ichigo about his powers
7. Rukia and Isshin convo about Kaien
8. Aizen and Urahara one on one convo
9. Soul King back story
10. The reappearance of Hichigo.
1. Soul King backstory
2. Explaination for Yhwach's backstory and goals
3. Sternritter surviving
4. More scenes with Gigi and Bambi
5. Shinigami turning out to Ichigo's enemy
6. Less focus on Shinigami and more on other races
7. Zombie Starrk and Zombie Nnoitra
8. Ginjou backstory and him doing something
9. Explaination for Orihime's powers and what Aizen did to her and her fighting once
10. Tatsuki doing something and meeting Rangiku
Question from a guy who only watched anime until the gang killed Aizen for good (AFAIK):
IS ICHIMARU GIN ALIVE?
Why in the world of fuck the whole ensemble of Bleach stays alive after allegedly the biggest threat in the history of Soul Society but the only guy I loved dies?
Not fucking fair.
Wait you actually think this is the final fight?
When Yhwh has already stated the world will end in 9 days
That chapter was called last NINE days not two, nor. three NINE days
Aizen never died. He's immortal thanks to the Hogyoku, Mayuri reanimated the Carlotte, Luppi, Cirucci and Dordonni as zombies. It's implied that this was what Szayel was researching. He hasn't resurrected anyelese though. But there is the possibility of zombie Nnoitra and zombie Starrk, because they left salvageable corpses behind.
Since everybody can make cool zombies now, the death is merely a setback at this point.
Only escape would be if the body was completely vaporized, but Gin was only slashed and stabbed, maybe Mayuri kept him in the fridge.
Mayuri's zombies retain their personalities. Probably because Mayuri wants them to know how fucked they are and so they can feel the pain. He controls them through chips implanted in their brains, that emit horrible amounts of pain.
Giselle is the only who can erase someone's personality. It depends on what she will use you for. Bambietta, whom Giselle loves, retained her personality. Hitsugaya, who was just an enemy was mindless.
Yes I can. The bleach characters in Soul Society live for 100's of human years. The humans live on a faster time frame. Yamamoto is practically a 1000 years old when he died and he's the only old man looking person in the entire Soul Society.
Yes it does! How do you explain Soul Society's ages? Why is the Soul Reaper's age in the 100's of years old in human years and yet humans can barely make it to their 80's?
That doesn't make any sense! Unless Soul Society is on a faster time frame than on Earth.
>what is fiction
Souls aging more slowly due to being spirit-bodies in a world made of spirit particles is the most widely accepted explanation, whereas your theory has absolutely no backing behind it, and is not addressed in any canon.
So you can kindly fuck off now.
>Souls aging more slowly due to being spirit-bodies in a world made of spirit particles is the most widely accepted explanation, whereas your theory has absolutely no backing behind it, and is not addressed in any canon.
You are basing it around theories. It's stated that the characters have lived for 100's of years. It's stated that the travel point between Soul Society and the Human world brings the characters in different time frames.
Those are STATED IN THE CANON. Now how about you kindly fuck off with your MatPat Game Theory bullshit.
>Muh male/female friendships don't exist
>Muh no women can resist the D
Given the fact that Yoruichi mostly wandered the Living World by herself as a cat during their hundred-year exile and that she had to be introduced to Ururu and Jinta in the early part of the series, the idea that she was riding hat-and-clogs dick or even dropping by to visit more than once every quarter-century is fangirl dreaming, anon.
Considering how hard she was on him during TBTP, and how angry she seemed while having to bust him out of Central 46, she probably resented him for a few years over the fact that he foolishly neglected to bring her when he confronted Aizen (which might have turned the entire encounter around), and instead only finds out about all the bad shit going down when she has to throw away her title, her family and her tiny ninja waifu to bail his ass out from getting the death penalty.
>It's stated that the travel point between Soul Society and the Human world brings the characters in different time frames.
This has everything to do with time fuckery in the Dangai and nothing to do with time differences between the Human World and Soul Society.
You fucking speedreader.
Was he ever not blind?
Orihime's event rejection doesn't work on Reiatsu, as explained by Unohana.
You mean Ichigo's and Renji's respective bankais? See above.
>Half of Soul Society
This is way beyond the limits of Orihime's power as a human. She's never used her power on anything significantly larger than the average human.
>Was he ever not blind?
Doesn't matter. Her power is to reject an effect, not revert time. Tosen may be born blind, but that happened because of a malformation of his eyes. She can reject that event.
>Orihime can't reject something that happened to reiatsu in form of sword but can reject something that happened to reiatsu in form of hairpin
Yeah makes sense.
And by Soul Society I was referring to people like Kira.
He was always blind. They also never met.
Ichigo never asked to restore his powers. Orihime would never restore them without his permission. She also can't restore Reiatsu
Ikkaku didn't tell her about it. And Ichigo and Renji couldn't because Orihime was somewhere else.
>Half of Soul Society
It would take too long to revive 3000 people and again. Orihime was in Hueco Mundo with the all ways out temporarily shut off by Quilge.
Orihime is literally on her way to Giselle. And Bazz-B and Liltotto. There is no way for to ignore the bodies. It's also a good excuse to keept her occupied like Chad and Uryuu, so Ichigo can confront Yhwach alone.
>Doesn't matter. Her power is to reject an effect, not revert time. Tosen may be born blind, but that happened because of a malformation of his eyes. She can reject that event.
But why would she?
>Orihime can't reject something that happened to reiatsu in form of sword but can reject something that happened to reiatsu in form of hairpin
Once again, size and complexity may have been an issue. Regardless, from a writer's standpoint, having Orihime fix everything on her own makes for a shit story.
>She's never used her power on anything SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER than the average human.
Posts 2 images. 1) an average size human 2) isnt even a power
Hate to be THAT guy but look at it this way.
Soi-fon, her Shikai is the Two-hit-kill, and her Bankai is the One-hit-kill.
Shunsui, his Shikai is Entertainment for Children, his Bankai is entertainment for Adults.
Even if he did Urahara wouldn't know about it. That's the power of his shikai.
Aizen can make urahara think he caught him and killed him. Know what urahara's bankai power, wait for him to deactivate him, and just stab him later.
Aizen is nigh unbeatable once you are hypnotized.
Aizen controls the five sense perfectly. But Yamamoto was able to sense him by having the sword impaled through him. What if a summon bankai is able to detect where Aizen truly is, allowing Urahara to use the stitches to tell the real Aizen?
As Gin put it best, kyoka suigetsu isn't what makes Aizen terrifying. It's his amazing power. There are a few people in the series that could probably counter complete hypnosis, but then what?
They haven't even reached Yhwach yet, where those guys are...
Holy shit, every time I enter a Bleach thread I'm convinced half the posters haven't read a chapter since SS and just spout random questions.
Soi Fons Shikai is a stinger, and her Bankai is just a bigger long rangw stinger
People need to stop mistaking the two hit kill ability of soi fons Shikai as its OFFICIAL trait when its not
A similar situation is Mayuri, whose Shikai has the ability to cause paralysis but its official ability is Poison
Pretty sure willpower is not what she's lacking right now. She's most likely going to heal them off-screen, so Ichigo and Yhwach can be alone. There's no way Orihime and Ichigo will confront and fight Yhwach together. While it would be a missed opportunity to show Orihime's growth, it would gives us three very liked characters back.
Really, lots of the shikai abilities seem to reflect what their wielders want to be while the bankai abilities are about what they really are. Then again there are too many that wouldn't make sense in that way, but you could think of Soi Fon's abilities like that.
Naruto's powers, however retarded and mountainbusting, at least were physical in nature
Bleach now has Medaka Box-like powers where they simply take an entire concept and say 'this person does it'.
Naruto fights are basically an exponentially increasing scale of chakra and bullshit; Bleach may be conceptual but in the end they're still tied to metaphysical laws that have been integrated into the narrative throughout every arc.
Not really, but people want to make him seem like he was unbeatable
When it comes to it
He suffered damage from the same Getsuga Tensho that only gave Yammy a scratch on the neck
Was incapable of seeing Uraharas movements
and in the one fight where he finally faced a Captain 1 on 1 he got worn down easily
Let me get this straight. Urahara used his bankai to fix his eye, and as a feint to let Grimmjow catch Askin offguard? That was it? Its actual powers were in no way the deciding factor of this conflict?
Askin will either do some shit to drastically reduce or even eliminate his body's need for oxygen or nutrients that would be delivered by his heart beating and sending shit out, or he'll reveal that any method that does "kill" him, he becomes truly immune to.
Like you rip his heart out, he regrows it and next time the heart can't be extracted or crushed.
when some guy tells you when did it appear to you as if i wasnt using it
AND KUBO HIMSELF flash backs to the very beginning of the fight. Making it extremely easy to understand that that was the moment he was using Kyouka Suigetsu
Can someone remind me how it works, when a quincy is killed, does Yhwach get their powers, like Fear, Visionary, Heat, or just their riatsu?
Kubo got a reward for his 600th chapter before there was chapter 600 for the reason mentioned in the post you quoted.
You mean rape monk? But Kirinji showed shikai, too. And Hikifune used to be a Gotei captain, so she must have a bankai. It would be weird for Ouetsu the zanpakuto smith to not have a zanpakuto. Which leaves only Shutara.
Yhwh gets there knowledge and there Powers.
He probably wont get the Visionary , since Gremmy' last action was to Imagine a world where his power doesn't exist effectively writing it out of the manga
There is also the possibility, that the Visionary was always Gremmy like with Gerard and Pernida. I wouldn't be surprised if Gremmy's the Soul King brain. I wouldn't also be surprised if Mayuri brings Gremmy back with a brain restoration machine.
Yumichika and Iba were implied to have Bankai in interviews. Iba mentioned it in the databook, when talking about Ikkaku. It's either Iba having Bankai or Ikkaku not actually being bald. Kubo once said Yumichika would be the most likely to develope Bankai and that he already knows, what his and Kira's potential Bankai will look like. But he thinks Kira's would be too nauseating to actually show in the manga. There is also Yoruichi and maybe Tessai. Nimaya also could posses either an evolved Zanpakto or several Bankais.
I still don't understand what possible bankai she could have that she would never use it
You get at least a 5x reiatsu boost when you trigger it. You should carry it around just for that
Imho her zanpakuto was lost and/or destroyed in the past and this has gone too far to do "oh btw this be my sword. cool huh" now.
Besides, there already was one long time missing zan reveal with Nanao in previous battle, and doing same trick twice in row is too cheap, even for Kubo.
The Shihouin house is one of the royal houses though.
If nanao's lineage has some passed down sword I can't see why her brother can't have hers
That has probably more to do with Giselle being able to server the connection between Yhwach and Bambietta. This was probably the reason Bambietta was immune to the Auswahlen.
Yoruichi probably left her Zanpakto behind in the Shioin mansion, when she rescued Urahara and Tessai. Since she was in a hurry, she had no time to take with her. She has yet to visit the mansion since then. Her Zanpakto could also been confiscated by her family as a punishiment for her exile.
Anyway, has anyone noticed, that Yoruichi's reasoning for following Urahara is the same as Askin's reasoning for following Yhwach. Both are interested in what they will do. Since Urahara is implied to want to de- and reconstruct the world with his owns hands, Yoruichi may follow Urahara, because she's curious what kind of world he will create.
Only had to take the power of Bazz B, Liltto, Giselle, Candice, Robert and Nanana. As well as Bambietta and Menias
Lets not forget that Nimaiya was single handedly put down by Askin. And needed assistance from Kirinji in order to survive.
Nimaiya didnt even give the Elite guards a chance to use there power. But when the Elite Guards were resurrected they knew exactly who they were up against and used all of there abilities to there fulllest
Robert was nuked, while a bleeding zombified Bambietta survived the Auswahlen. That's some irony. If it weren't for him Giselle and Liltotto would be done for. I wonder why Kubo decided, that of all the Stenritter it would be Giselle, who should survive. I like Giselle a lot, but when it comes to evilness and sadism, she's ranked rather high.
Well let's see, it's got a humanoid manifestation, weird range limits, and a vague as fuck power that can do pretty much anything. Plus pic related would fit right in as a Jojo panel. So yeah, it's effectively a Stand.
Memories of Nobody and Fade to Black are nice.
Hell Verse is retarded, but has great animation.
Diamond Dust Rebellion suck on all fronts.
What did they mean by this?
Where is Yachiru?
Is Gremmy actually dead?
Why didn't he use vollstandig?
>Where is Yachiru?
Missing. May be possibly be in Kenpachi's inner world, because she could be Nozarashi.
>Is Gremmy actually dead?
No one knows. Gremmy was always a brain, so in a biological sense he could be alive, since destryoing the fictional body should do nothing to the brain. Mayuri may also revive him with a brain restoration machine.
>Why didn't he use vollstandig?
He most likely doesn't have one. There is the possibility, that Gremmy is the Soul King's brain. Pernida and Gerard didn't receive any powers from Yhwach, because they always had them. If Gremmy's the brain of the Soul King, he also had always his power. Only the Sternritter who got powers from Yhwach can acess Vollständig. Pernida never used Vollständig and Gerard possibly too. If Gremmy never got powers from Yhwach, he simply doesn't have a Vollständig.
