That's not how it works. Have you never seen the development of "ugly art" shows on /a/? It starts with dismissal or lack of discussion, evolves into a solid 400+ post general where everyone agrees it's the best show of the season or even the year, it starts spreading out around 6 weeks into the show's lifespan and then a bunch of threads calling out the "hipsters" and the "cancerous fanbase" start appearing where people who actually dislike the show vent reactionarily against it.
