What was the best time to be on /a/?hard mode: not the first year of 4chan
>>135559475Today.
Geass
Gurren Lagann
Panty & Stocking
>>135559475
I've only been around /a/ since 2010 (the rest of 4chan a bit longer).
It gets a bit worse ever year. I'd imagine if there was a peak, it was 2007 - 8.
>>135559475
Every answer to this question is a meme
>>135559475
Never. "Back when /a/ was good" is just a meme.
>>135559475
Today becauseit all returns to nothing
>>135559656
Well, depends on the board.
Everyone knows /tv/ was best during LOST, after LOST the board as no reason to exist.
>>135559475
When Umaru-chan was airing
2007-2009 was decent, sometime it was a fucking nightmare since moot literally abandoned all board without so much a single mod / janitorr. /a/ did okay with its self moderating and survived, though not for long
At the time of 1,2 years ago, /a/ went to literally shit and then started having daily 500+posts Naruto thread.
/a/ quality nowadays is roughly the same as /v/, /co/
i came onto /v/ in 2007, then /a/ in 2008 r 2099 so rpbably 2007 because i elt ilike i stumed belon something cool
COME BCK MOT
>>135559783
sry im not tshitmopositng im drunk im sorry im not trying tio ruin thethead
>>135559783
>>135559814
I don't get why people think that pretending to be drunk is funny.
>>135559767
>/a/ quality nowadays is roughly the same as /v/, /co/
As someone who occasionally visits one of thoseguess whichplease never say that again. /a/ is much better, even now. It might not be at its peak but it isn't anywhere near that level of trash.
>>135559613
You can't speak for a time when you weren't here idiot.
>>135559656
"/a/ was never good" is also a meme. Being a meme has no relation to whether it is true or false.
/a/ is pretty international.
been here since 2004 and 2006-7 was /a/'s prime time. i still think you're cool.
>>135559767
When /v/ blew up in 09 is when /a/ got way anal retentive in a collective reaction of 'oh shit we could end up like /v/'.
The era preceding that is just too freeballing for my taste.
The best time used to be nighttime /a/.
there's no right answer, it depends entirely on how you spend your time on it
>>135559737
Season 2 when?
>>135559877
Only a matter of time
/a/ has lost its elitism already. Mostly everyone here got used to the idea of "ignore it and it will go away", just like /v/ and /co/ did.
>>135560022
Ignoring things is a mistake. It just allows the retards to take root and then spread from there.
>bitch at thread
>people tell you to hide it if you don't like it
>don't see the irony in that they can just hide your posts
Your right it is a matter of time. /a/ will still hold out longer though. I've seen more people getting back to the elitism. It might be small but there is a revival.
With some luck maybe things will turn around.
At least /a/ has alternatives with decent posters. There aren't any good ones for other boards.
2005-2007 was the best time for /a/.
Does night time /a/ still exist, or is it but a relic of the past?

On American/EU schooldays, yes. Their sessions don't start back up for another two weeks if I recall correctly.
2011 was the peak of 4chan.
